I had a wonderful Sunday brunch here. The atmosphere as I walked in was very intriguing and the ambiance of this place is definitely something different from other places in Wesley Chapel. As I walked in I was greeted, and may I note this is a place where having a reservation may be beneficial so you do not wait long. However I chose to sit at the bar so I could get served right away. Daniel the bartender was friendly, attentive and great with recommendations. It was cold rainy and windy so I started with an espresso martini & beignets, followed by a croissant B.E.C for my entree. The sandwich was so good and the potatoes were seasoned just perfect. The Living Room will absolutely see me again.

Walking to the place I noticed that there was a nice bar with outdoor eating... Walked in and was greeted by the server and the manager (which is very different). We were seated and given our menus and was given suggestions on their signature cocktails. Ordered our drinks and he took our order. My drink, Pear of Aces, was very citrusy and very good. The manager came by and was very intentive and got us a bottle of water and poured the water into our glasses. Thumbs up to the manager, geesh I wish more restaurants were like this. Our food came in and I got me a NY strip medium rare, scallops, and yuka. Needless to say, I didn't need no steak sauce, and everything was so delicious. Gnocchi and macaroni pasta was also ordered with my family... The manager also suggested I try the Espresso Martini... Damn that was really good. We ended the night with a pistachio tiramisu cake which was a 9 5 out of 10. All in all the service, food, and atmosphere was a great 9.5 out of 10. Great job to the manager (Elena I believe) and my server Flavio. Two thumbs up and can't wait to try another dish

I’m pretty sure I just found my new favorite spot. Went there for a late night bite and drinks because I heard they had an amazing espresso martini, and it far exceeded my expectations. Loved it so much I went for a real dinner the next day! Everything on their menu is divine, paired with the calming yet elegant ambiance - seriously a 10/10 for any occasion. Safe to say I’m obsessed.

Absolutely marvelous from beginning to end. New Orleans style brunch atmosphere. It was the first beinet that actually tasted like it was from Louisiana! From the service, to the decor, to the food, it was simply a great experience!

What a FUN vibe! So cozy and beautiful indoors and out. There was signage stating a 20% surcharge and was also listed on receipt? Unsure about that. The staff are very friendly, Daniel the waiter not only was welcoming and outgoing, I overheard him making lovely conversation with tables nearby. The crab/avocado salad was scrumptious and so refreshing. I would definitely recommend AND return! *** the only “flaw” which isn’t a big deal, is their website seemed a bit outdated compared to the menu I got while visiting today… I was so looking forward to the potato leek soup listed on the website but they did not have it ☹️

Was waited on by Flavio and Rosa, wonderful service and very attentive. Had the shrimp cocktail, tomato soup and corn risotto. My partner had the pork chop medium rare with French fries and green beans. We had the tiramisu for dessert. Everything was wonderful, the tomato soup had wonderful flavor, risotto was done nicely, pork chop was very soft and easy to eat, green beans had a nice crisp texture and good flavor, very crispy French fries, the shrimp cocktail was the only thing I got a picture of because I demolished all of my food but it is a sort of deconstructed cocktail. The tiramisu was absolutely incredible, I drug out eating it over 2 days because I loved it so much.

Enjoyed a Sunday brunch here. Loved the menu!!! So hard to choose from all the great options. The mojitos were top shelf!! They had mimosa flights!! The patio was beautiful although the music was a tad loud (reason for the 4 stars) and someone brought their yapping dog to disturb other people's experience. I appreciate dog friendly establishments but I dont appreciate rude pet owners!! I do think these situations are more than appropriate to ask people to leave which the did not but I did not mark their rating for this. The green goddess salad was amazing and the breakfast pizza was pretty good too!!

The food was excellent, and the server, Veronica, along with the kitchen staff, were incredibly accommodating to my celiac disease. They went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my meal— even frying plantains in a separate pan since they couldn’t use the shared fryer. I’m thoroughly impressed with both the service and the food, and will definitely be returning. P.S. They also have a doggie menu, so I’ll be back with my furry friend too!

They were busy but worked us in. Sister lunch date. The best food! The beignets were delicious! French toast, protein bowls, steak, etc. Everything was delicious. Amaya was fantastic as our server. We will be back.

The menu here is very interesting, but the waitress (Vanessa) was very helpful as to what we should order and gave her honest answers to our questions! To me that made my experience much more enjoyable! DEFINITELY get the fillet it is tender and delicious! The focaccia bread w/dip as well! Everything is made in house so it is beyond fresh and very tasty, not overly seasoned which is a definite plus to me. The customer service was great! Give this place a try :)

Wonderful restaurant! The food was colorful, fresh, and well-prepared, and the drinks were vibrant. My boyfriend wanted to mention that the pancakes were so fluffy they didn’t even need butter! A big thank you to Jackson, our server, for the excellent service!

A-MAZ-ING! Between the vibe, decor, and music… and then the drinks, apps, and food. Such a great experience. The server was kind, helpful, welcoming, and professional. #TeamKarissa #MyLivingRoom

The aesthetics in their place are amazing! The food is very good and they have a good variety. The drinks!! Oh the drinks! I had the best espresso martini here! I will return just for that. The prices aren’t bad, and the location is excellent as is kind of in the middle of the plaza at the shopping center.

Our service was fantastic! They require a mandatory 20% gratuity tip fee to be added to your check. We were a bit worried about that, but we were happy to get such great service. The food we ordered was a bit pricey but absolutely delicious and a great value for the money. The sauces we tried were wonderful, and the flavored teas were skillfully hand-crafted by our awesome server. You must try the truffle french fries with the dipping sauce. It's completely enjoyable and tasty. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our meals here.

We had a wonderful dinner outside, listening to live music. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Christina was our server. She was accommodating and friendly. This was my first time here and I will definitely be returning.

I made a reservation for my friend’s birthday. Nothing will ever top our experience here. Our server Vanessa was OUTSTANDING. She recommended menu items with expertise, socialized with us the whole dinner while attending to our needs. Everything that we ordered based on Vanessa’s recommendations were 12/10. The Wagyu burger was cooked to perfection. The real star of this experience with Vanessa as our server was the care and attention to detail. She made sure my friend felt like a superstar! We will never forget our time here. I really cannot thank the entire staff at The Living Room Wiregrass enough for exceeding our expectations. The atmosphere of the dining area is gorgeous and it was lovely to learn about all of the vintage art pieces on the walls. The icing on the cake for me was the Bread Pudding with coconut gelato which is made in house! Our taste buds were happy and Vanessa will definitely be our server when we return. Also, shout out to Lindsey! She did well helping us with anything we needed and the General Manager here is doing an amazing job with the new menu items and the entire vibe. I highly recommend this location and I will definitely be back very soon! Also, thanks to the bartender for the delicious Raspberry Daiquiri. My friend loved her beautiful drink and of course, Vanessa made sure it was made with just the right amount of raspberries! Wow, unforgettable dining at this location.

First time coming to this restaurant on my birthday! To be honest, didn’t feel very “welcomed or like family” as the mission statement says lol. The food was burnt, and unfortunately our server never came back to check on us. We ended up getting a server half way through our time there, and she kinda forgot about us when the rest of the party came. The restaurant is super pretty, and I absolutely love how they have a dog menu! I definitely will try it again see if I have a better chance this time around

Brunch was excellent. Possibly best I’ve had in Tampa and fairly affordable as well. Chimichanga was crispy on outside, perfectly gooey on inside, and filling. Pancakes were good, especially the chocolate coconut cream provided. While server was very nice, service was extremely slow, taking more than an hour to get our food. Would still come back but something to take into account

The Living Room is located in the heart of the Wiregrass mall and parking is behind the restaurant and you have to walk to the other side to the entrance. Parking lot is small so you might be looking for a bit if there are none. We were greeted and seated upon entry with no reservations and the place was decked out in Christmas decorations and lights and it was absolutely beautiful! Hostess informed us of the automatic 20% gratuity so it doesn’t come as a surprise at the end of the bill but this would also be helpful if they posted this at the front instead of when you’re seated. We didn’t mind but some people might want to know before they’re seated. Menu was very light and easy to choose. Our server was great and we had no issues. Standard breakfast: 5/5, marble rye bread was still crisp and toasted when I ate it. Eggs, sausage; bacon and potatoes were absolutely delish. Probably my most favorite brunch ever. Nojito: 5/5, it was so good! Avocado toast: 5/5, best we’ve ever had. Grits: 5/5! Banana bread: 3/5, good if you like banana bread as they had fresh bananas inside. Creme brulee: 1/5, temperature was off, wasn’t impressed. I would definitely return because all around everything was a 10/10! I loved my experience here at The Living Room!

Great drinks and delicious food!! I was so happy they let me have my dog inside because it was so hot out even on the patio. They put us in a corner away from everyone and close to the patio though which I respect because I understand not everyone is ok with having dogs inside. Overall such a cute atmosphere and vibe, service was amazing and food was great!! Loved the homemade potato chips!!

This review is long overdue. We went to The Living Room at Wiregrass for our Anniversary. This was our first time visiting and the service was outstanding. Our server, I believe her name was Monique was very friendly, informative and thoughtful. When she learned it was our anniversary she brought us champagne and a bouquet of roses for my wife. The cuisine is a fusion of different flavors that blend together quite harmoniously. Both the food and service exceeded our expectations.

Loved this restaurant. We sat outside the only downfall was the cars driving around the circle but not the restaurants fault. Ok let's talk about the %20 fee. To be honest we knew about it going in and still wanted to go I know when you go to a nice restaurant your going to tip 20 percent anyway so it didn't bother us. I see the owner is protecting his staff making sure they get paid and I didn't see an issue with it. Now for food we got the stuffed chicken with the bread pudding and let me tell you it was a great meal one of the best I ever had the chicken made with the bread pudding was perfect amount of sweet mixed into the meal. Now dessert we got the chocolate cake and ice cream it is better to skip on this due to the price and size it was 9 dollars for a muffin that was hard the ice cream was melted and it was way to small go somewhere else for dessert. Other than that we will be going again and will skip dessert this next time around.

Nice private room offers the quiet atmosphere for my Veteran father. We had his birthday party here last year and my daughters today. Jackson was an awesome server!

My boyfriend and I went here for brunch the day after Valentine's. It was busy at the time, which was expected. We decided to sit at the bar in order to sit quicker. Bar was amazing! Great service, great drinks, and the food was sooooo good! We look forward to going again for brunch! Tip: if your go during the weekend during brunch time, make a reservation if you want to sit quicker. We were more than okay sitting at the bar since it's just 2 of us.

My TLR burger was absolutely delicious! The combination of aioli, and the quality of the meat was great. My partner got the steak and eggs after the server recommended and was underwhelmed.

I went on Valentine's Day with my spouse. They had a lovely deal for couples, which is what we got. The choices were great, and the dessert was delicious. Our server was very polite, and we even were checked on by multiple members of the staff. Overall, it's a great date spot, and it's in a wonderful location. We'll definitely come back some time.

Really enjoyed the restaurant and the atmosphere. I love the fine China appetizer dish and the decorations. The food is delicious and the prices aren’t too expensive. Highly recommend the flank steak benedict, it was delicious and the steak was cooked perfect. It did took a bit long for our food to arrive, but really enjoyed the music. They have live music and the Christmas decor is up. Also, they do charge a 20% gratitude for every check.

We went to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter was fantastic. The service that we received from him was excellent. He made our celebration special. The food wasn’t bad but didn’t meet my expectations. The drinks were good. The restaurant had a nice environment but was dirty.

We went here on a Friday night. We were easily able to get a table and we had great service all night. We got the hummus and aroncini for appetizers. Would 10/10 recommend the aroncini. Margarita was very tasty. Smash burger - good burger, fries could have been crispier Stir fry - “there are better things on the menu” Bolognese - great flavor, noodles a little al dente Snapper - very tasty and healthy amount of food We would definitely come back here for food and experience.

The food is always great when we do come here. They really lean into the theme of feeling like you're in a home from the decorations and decor to the plates and cups. The reason I took 1 star off is because of seating. Just about every time I've come here without a reservation I have to sit outside. Not a problem, but strange because even when we finish eating there is plenty of open seating inside. With a reservation it's no problem. I just find the seating situation/issue strange.

I had the crispy Brussels and focassia (spelling) bread for appetizers they were so delicious. I could have stopped at that right there. But I got the green goddess salad as an entree, it was good but not as impressive as the apps. The rum bread pudding was scrumptious. The only area for improvement that I saw was the hostess didn't take down any names and there was a 15 minute wait. She just relied on her memory for who arrived in what order and there were customers that got upset. Other than that it was delicious and I would go again.

Very average experience at the Living Room a few weeks ago. Service was okay but very slow. Drinks were okay the 1st round, but the second round were very watered down. They took a long time to come, indicative that they may have been sitting in the service well for a while waiting to be delivered. Entrees were okay, I had the salad with no protein but they added it so I had to inform them it needed to be taken off the bill. Others ordered a Cacio e Pepe type pasta which was not very good and over cooked. The chicken was bone dry, you could tell it was cooked quite a while ahead of time. The best thing may have been the focaccia bread. Overall I'm not sure I'd come back based on this experience.

Tried The Living Room at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. So first issue I have with this restaurant is that We showed up at 4 and for some reason they have a reduced menu from lunch time ending at 3 to dinner time starting at 5. Extremely limited for those 2 hours. I was able to try the smash burger and fries and my wife got the 2 pulled sliders. It was only 2 sliders mind you and that was $15. At least I got fries with my meal for $18. The burger was ok not the best I have had and definitely not the worst. The sliders were also average at best. The staff was mostly attentive so no issues there. My 2nd problem was the 20% service charge that was added to my bill. Probably something to note before your patrons sit down to eat. I don’t agree with that because I need to decide how my service was to decide what tip I leave. My bill was $70 and unfortunately not even close to being worth the money. I would recommend you search around the area for other dining options.

Came for lunch and got one of the smash burgers. The bread was super thin and got soggy fast. Fries had no flavor or seasoning. Overall atmosphere was nice but the quality of food did not match my expectations or the price.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations—especially when it comes to service. The only saving grace was the tomato bisque, which was delicious. But that was about it. Our experience started poorly from the moment we sat down. We were greeted by a waiter—Peter, I believe—who seemed far more interested in the group of young women sitting behind us than ensuring our dining experience was pleasant. There was a mandatory 20% gratuity, which seemed laughable given the lack of attention and care we received. Here’s a timeline of the disorganized service: 3:49 PM: Sat down. 3:59 PM: Waiter finally arrived to take our drink order. 4:31 PM: My wife’s soup arrived, but I was left waiting. The waiter apologized, saying he “must have forgotten” mine. 4:34 PM: My soup finally arrived, but at the same time, I ordered a second glass of wine. 4:41 PM: The wine arrived, but my burger came with yet another bowl of tomato bisque—something I wasn’t informed about, which was frustrating. 4:44 PM - 4:52 PM: Instead of checking in on us, Peter was chatting with the group of girls behind us. 4:53 PM: He finally asked if everything was okay, at which point I mentioned that my burger was rare and requested it be taken off my bill. I’d just stick to the soup. 5:03 PM: Ordered dessert. 5:16 PM: Dessert arrived, tossed onto the table with zero comments or interaction from Peter. It was a clear example of a lack of care or attention to detail. The service was inattentive, and when issues arose, the response was indifferent. The 20% gratuity felt completely undeserved. I can’t recommend this place unless you’re specifically in the mood for tomato bisque—and even then, I’d suggest going somewhere else for better service.

A high end dining option at wire grass mall. Many good options. The hummus was great and the bowl was awesome. The service however is another story. Took them 20 minutes to sit us down and another 20 to take our order. This was not a busy night. I wish they just did that part better. The food and drinks did come out fast.

My Girlfriend and I decided to try the Living Room out for lunch. First thing that hits you when you walk thru the door is you will be charged a 20% Tip on your bill, if your not happy with your service then you have to talk to management. Hello, I normally do tip 20% or more, especially if my server really goes overboard , but I dont want to be told how much I must tip. So after this shock we got a soup and sandwich platter. Neither of us thought it tasted that great. The soup had a strange taste. The atmosphere was nice and the server was very nice but I will not be going back.

Nice homey concept. Menu is limited but food was enjoyable. Unfortunately, two things sick out in my memory of the evening. There was mandatory gratuity which is added to the price of the food. It is clearly written on the bottom of the menu, but still. Just pay the employees a real wage and reflect it in the prices. The second item is that it took about 15 minutes for someone to come to our table, and it wasn't even our server. The kind hostess served us because the server was too busy. Not that bothers me in general, but the server never even stopped by to let us know they were there. So we paid the 20% (maybe 18% can't recall) required gratuity for a server who did not exist. The only service provided was water brought once, our order, food delivered, and the check, after 15 minutes of silence. Don't get me wrong, it's a nicely decorated place and the employees we did see seemed happy and the food was quality. It's just with so many choices in the area for a $100 dinner for two, The Living Room will have to do better to stand out.

Service and atmosphere were good; the food was not. We had the carrot bread appetizer, which comes with two slices. Both pieces we received were over-grilled end slices. My wife had a croissant sandwich, which was just okay. I ordered the biscuits with chorizo gravy. The biscuit was cut in half and grilled, but was still hard and dry; they are either old or prepackaged. The gravy flavor was good, but the consistency was closer to soup than gravy. The breakfast potatoes were actually well prepared and tasty, though they also appeared to be prepackaged. There were grounds in my coffee. Basically, no attention to detail to food quality or prep. There were small flies/gnats flying around our food (we were sitting inside), which makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. Overall, the experience was disappointing for the price (especially since there is a service fee added to every order that is separate from the server’s tip).

Was excited to try this place… and with my husband and father in law who come from restaurant backgrounds, we were highly disappointed. After being seated, took over 20 min for a server to come to our table. For $13-$16 a cocktail, they were small, flavorless, with no booze. The arancini’s were cold, no crisp from the fry. The tomato soup was cold… sent it back. The Brussels were the only decent thing… lovely blackberry sauce with Gorgonzola, and served hot! We didn’t bother staying for entrees… left and went somewhere else.

They wanted to seat us in a booth close to the door........it was 40 degrees outside. I requested a different booth and the first thing our server announced was that was a 20% server charge. She made us feel like homeless people who could not afford their fare. You should be very careful how you treat/judge people. Frankly.......we will never step foot in your snooty restaurant again Deborah Graham

Chef here. I was extremely excited about trying this restaurant after seeing the menu. The menu is beautiful. The flavor? Extremely lacking. The flat bread was great. The crab cakes Benedict were mediocre at best. Absolutely no seasoning in the crab cakes. Bland hollandaise, soggy English muffin. The Gouda grits weren’t seasoned at all. Were they made with water? Thank goodness for the salt, pepper, and hot sauce on the table. That’s the only thing that made my meal edible. After drenching my crab cake in hot sauce, I could finally eat it. Adding it all to the grits still didn’t make it taste good. My husband ordered the pork hash first, was told they didn’t have it, waiter offered pork belly Benedict instead, husband said great! 10 minutes later, waiter comes back and says they took it off the menu 4 days ago, so his third option, he ordered the carne asada omelette. The egg was over cooked, and the steak was so tough and dry in this omelette, you had to chew it like leather! Still no flavor on anything. Doused it in hot sauce so he could eat it. Waiter was smug, and although I didn’t say anything to him about the food, he had this “I’m better than you” je ne sais quoi. $125 for 2 brunch meals, a flat bread, and bottomless mimosas, this place is a miss for me. I hope the chef reads this because, Chef to Chef, I’d be embarrassed to have my name on this restaurant with the mediocre, unseasoned food they are serving.

Came last night for Valentine’s Day. I have to say the food was horrible, menu was horrible. I spent 110.00 for 2 pieces of fried chicken, one nugget, terimisu which was nasty. Worst Valentine’s Day menu I ever seen. Then the manager tells me there’s no other menu, waitress says there is but I have to sit at the bar, then she says there’s not. Too much back and forth. Great area but the food was not worth what I spent. I honestly felt like I got robbed it was so bad.

The server took our order fairly quickly after we were seated. A diet coke was brought to the table. It was flat. The server took it back to replace it. We sat there for 30 minutes. The server never returned to the table. We left. So disappointed because I have had good experiences there before.

J

We got a waiter with long curly hair who was the slowest, most incompetent person I've ever seen. Dude was completely clueless and has no business being a server. How he got the job I have no idea. This space cadet took forty minutes to get our drinks and took an hour and a half to get our food out. Insult to injury is this place charges 20% auto gratuity. I know what you're thinking (this guy is cheap). WRONG. This guy was so terrible they should have comped our meals. For reference, I've been a waiter for three years and am the type to never complain. But I cannot stress this enough! The service was the worst I've had in ten years. This guy needs to be fired (but lowkey he might be the owner's son because I have no other explanation how he even is a sever. This might genuinely be his first job) Funniest part is when the check came this guy tried to pitch us on tipping more 😭😭😭😭 Saying "Yeah the auto tip goes to all the servers but whatever you decide to tip extra goes right to me." The saddest part is the food is actually pretty good. But due to the atrocious service we will never be returning.
