Small but a great place for what felt like an absolute authentic Thai taste. Every dish we ordered had its own flavor and taste... Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! Highly recommend you try this place if you are in the area.
We always pass by this restaurant and I’ve always wanted to try them out. Decide to get them for lunch for my wife and I. The customer service was amazing and the location was very clean. I order the pad thai and the thai vegetable fried rice which came with vegetable spring rolls. I also order a side of crab Rangoon. The food was really good and flavorful. I will be coming here in a regular. Can’t wait to try the other options. Also the lunch special is very big portion.
Hands down the best Thai Restaurant in Tampa. Excellent service and the food is delicious. We ordered spring rolls and the mains Red Curry with Chicken and Massaman Curry with Chicken and Sautéed Mixed Vegetable with Tofu and all of us loved the food. Our only place we will go for authentic Thai food that is large portions and very reasonably priced.
Every time I crave Thai food I come here because Tampa Palm Thai NEVER disappoints! Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is cozy! I love their Pad Thai!
This is a beautiful little Thai restaurant located in a strip mall in New Tampa. It has a nice atmosphere and is clean. The staff is friendly and so helpful. I have food allergies and they made changes to my order that allowed me to enjoy their delicious food. Everything we ordered was very tasty, fresh, well cooked, and delightful. We will definitely return.
Quaint space but delicious food! The food speaks for itself, we ordered Edamame, Beef Pad Woon Sen, side of fried rice and their Mango Sticky Rice (full course). The value was definitely there, this all fed two adults with plenty leftover. Very flavorful dishes overall, and we would definitely recommend for great Thai food.
I’ve had a lot of Thai food in the Tampa area and Palm Thai is a cut above other restaurants in every way. My family and I went on a Tuesday night close to closing hour and every table was full. The owner, Ben, is from Bangkok and really takes good care of all his customers, takes time to engage and cares about the dining experience of every person who walks into his restaurant. My family ordered the Pad See Ew, Pad Woon Sen, Pineapple Fried Rice and Tom Kha Soup. The first thing we noticed was that Palm Thai is not afraid to be bold with their flavors, whereas other restaurants are often more mild. The noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy, each dish is huge and loaded with vegetables, we had a full meal of leftovers the next day. We also loved the garlicky, savoriness of each dish. The table next to us ordered more to go during their meal and we are already planning another trip back to try more dishes, very happy this place is so close to us and will definitely be back!
I've officially been here 5 times and it almost just keeps getting better every time. The food is delicious and the service friendly and helpful. Both dine-in and takeout are the same quality and care.
First time having this place and I tried the Thai fried rice with chicken since that’s what I usually get from Thai restaurants. There is a certain taste that sets Thai fried rice apart from other fried rices. It was presented beautifully and it tastes even better. I also had the Thai iced tea which was sweet but not too sweet, just how I like it. I read the other reviews about the paper plates and although mine was not on one, I wouldn’t have minded if it was. A paper plate is more sanitary than any other option in my opinion. My tea came in a to-go cup which I was happy about because that’s how I usually try to order in any restaurant. Overall, this place is amazing and the owner(?) was very nice and had my food out very quickly. Shout out to the chef as well! I will be returning!
The food is amazing and the service too. We keep coming back often and have been regular customers since a few years now. The owner is very sweet. Overall the best Thai restaurant we’ve been to so far.
For Friday night we were looking for Thai place to have dinner and decided to have dinner at Palm Thai since it was just around 10 minutes from our place. Accessibility Palm Thai has a lot of parking places since it is located in the area where there are around 3-4 restaurants. One can park in the parking place and can directly go to Palm Thai Restaurant. Ambience When we entered the restaurant we saw that they have small seating area. They were decorated with Thai Idols on the walls. The restaurant was decorated very well showing the beauty of Thailand. Service Our server Ben was an amazing guy who was also the owner and he treated us well as well as answered all the questions regarding food and respected all our demands. Foods By exploring the menu we started first with appetizers and soup which included vegetarian spring roll, crab rangoon and tom kha soup. For dinner we ordered Drunken Noodles and Massama Curry. The server soon bought our disposable plates and soon for the food. Soon we got our appetizers and soup. The spring roll as well as crab rangoon were delicious. We loved both of them. It was a delicious start to our dinner. The soup was delicious too. It was amazing food freshly made with vegetables. Then soon we got our food which was drunken noodles and massaman curry. The noodles as well as curry was hot and deliciously made. Loved the dinner too along with the appetizers. The food as well as appetizers were hot and freshly made with perfect vegetables. Price The prices were perfect and it was according to the food we ordered. We didn't think it was pricey. It was really worth it. One of the best Thai restaurants in the area with hot and delicious Thai food.
Loved the tom yum soup. The portion was amazing and the spices blended so well together. For a price of $6.50, it was totally worth it. Also had the tom yum fried rice which was incredible. The service is amazing and the ambience feels nice!!!! I would definitely recommend and I will be becoming a regular!!!

Best Thai food I’ve had hands down. The food is amazing every time, and the customer service is consistently refreshing. I honestly recommend everything on the menu. My go-to is the pineapple curry fried rice, but I’ve been exploring more lately and everything is cooked fresh and tastes delicious.

Very delicious food! They provide a decent amount of food for a fair price. Nice decorative environment with cool air conditioning. The service was amazing, nice customer service and food was prepared under 10 minutes. Would absolutely recommend.
PAD THAI HERE IS THE BEST I EVER HAD! They have non spicey pad Thai - for those of you who can’t do spicey, but for the ones who love spice !!! It will bring a little tear to your eye - which we all love. You can ask for different levels of spice depending on your preference. Food is made relatively fast and prices are pretty good! I don’t live anywhere near this place but I will sometimes make an hour drive just to visit.
Nothing fancy but the food was AMAZING!!!! Went here for my birthday and I was so happy and thankful that I did. Didn’t have any fancy drinks or anything just food . I wish that I would have taken pictures. We definitely will be going back.

Ordered to go for the first time, chose the Thais pineapple fried rice. Flavors were good and serving was decent, however there was zero cashews (which is a staple in this dish) no raisins (which was fine but why?) and I think ai counted 4 pieces of pineapple.. majority of the dish was carrots and onions. Unfortunate for a 16$ bowl of rice. Hopefully you read reviews and listen to all feedback. Was disappointing to say the least.
Palm Thai – Fresh, Flavorful, and Worth the Visit! Had a fantastic lunch at Palm Thai with my wife, and we were both impressed by the quality of the food. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the perfectly cooked vegetables to the rich, savory sauces. The Pineapple Fried Rice was a standout, packed with flavor and the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The Broccoli Dish was another winner—simple yet delicious, with crisp-tender broccoli and a flavorful sauce. The restaurant itself is small but offers a quiet and cozy dining experience, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal without the usual hustle and bustle. While prices are going up in April, the quality and taste make it well worth it. If you’re looking for great Thai food, Palm Thai won’t disappoint! Highly recommend stopping by.
When you’re at a Thai restaurant, you must try their Thai Tea or Thai Coffee. The milk and tea ratio is perfect so it isn’t overly sweet, but creamy. We ordered crab Rangoon and Papaya salad for our starter. The crab rangoon is different since they mix curry with the cream cheese. The outer layer is very crunchy. The papaya salad is very fresh and different as well. You don’t taste much of the fish sauce, but more sour/lime taste. However, the level of crunchiness of the papaya and green beans is out of this world. We ordered the drunken noodles, panang curry with shrimp, and Palm Thai soft shell crab. The drunken noodles is delicious and the portion is big. The panang curry was good. It was sweet with a light kick of spice to it. The Palm Thai soft shell crab came out in a huge portion. The veggies they used for the green curry is super crunchy. There is a slight saltiness taste for the soft shell crabs that goes really well with the sweetness of green curry. There’s a limited amount of space and table, but the service is amazing! Our food came out pretty quick, but delicious. I recommend trying some Thai food here if you’re in the area. IG: BEEFYFOODIE

The taste is not bad. The pineapple fried rice is tasty. However the amount of meat is too little compared to the price ($15 for the pork fried rice and $16 for the shrimp pad thai)
This place has potential. My pad Thai was swimming in sauce that was too thick and too sweet. The flavor was ok, but nothing special. The water came in a bottle with a disposable plastic cup. The food came on paper plates with plastic utensils. The inside eating area is too small and tables are too close to one another. My friend and I had to talk very quietly just so the table beside us wouldn’t overhear the conversation. The owner was very friendly and nice to talk with. With all of the other good Thai places in the area, I won’t be back here.
Was hoping for better with the amount of good reviews, but as someone who loves full time on the road and tries lots of food, I hate to say it but …the Pad Thai tasted like vomit, my husband said batteries. The red curry was better, but there were so many bamboo shoots and the dish wasn’t balanced, both dishes were largely inedible. We were not happy with the price we paid for what we got. I wish we could bring the food back but it’s too close to closing.
