Jorge was a great server and he made sure everyone in his section was taken care of in a timely manner. Also had a pazookie for the first time and those things are no joke!

We came here for on a mission: to order the giant pizooki ($30), and nothing else. The giant pizooki was absolutely delicious, and we easily finished it as a group of 5. The ice cream was very good and when mixed with the cookies on the bottom, it made for a very nice flavor. If you want to try the giant pizooki, make sure to call in advance to make sure they have it before going in! Otherwise, everything was great about this location!

Anisa was my server and she was literally the best! Super friendly and helpful, she made great recommendations for beer. Will definitely be back and hope she’s my server!

Jorge was amazing... I've been here a few times and i usually have the worst service and food. Well today the food was still terrible but the service was amazing. Food cold as per usual... I really hate this place, only came becuas3 I wanted the chicken parm. Figured they could t mess that up. But it was dry and cold. But Jorge made it better.. added more sauce and got a new one. He was on it. He was kind.

Our server Emy was so attentive and knowledgeable. She was so good one of the best servers I've had in a long time at any establishment. I had the 13.99 lunch special with chicken parmesan the food was delicious and if course it included the pazookie. Emy recommended blending the prickly pear and berry cider for what I'm calling the Emy special it was so good. My friend has the special with fried chicken and mashed potatoes and she enjoyed it. Definitely recommend you get here for the lunch special it's a great value for the price.

George was our waiter tonight and its the best experiance we've ever had! My boyfriend and I have come here for close to 2 years and we have never been welcomed the way George welcomed us. BJ’s brewhouse in West Covina has exceptional service many times as I have been there but 1 person stands out as I have had her as a server a hand full of times and she raises the bar everytime. ! Madilyn H is focused and yet professional everytime we had her. Never an empty glass and is a team player helping her coworkers with tables around her. Ask for Madilyn and you’ll enjoy professionalism as we do.

Today I had lunch with my mom and sister! We had the Ribeye steak! Our sever Emy was really amazing and she even recommended us the avocado egg rolls! 10 out of 10!! We will definitely be coming back.😊

Good place to eat! BJ’s is usually good. This location definitely does not disappoint. We had a party of four. We got to the restaurant around 6:00 pm on a Saturday. No waiting time, got seated right away. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was cordial, friendly, and helpful. I ordered my usual, Bacon Burger, and it was delicious! I always use the BJ’s app, because it gives me $10 off whenever I get enough points, and free ice creams sometimes lol. Food was really good, as usual, no complaints there. Good atmosphere!

My family had the privilege of being taken care of by Al the Libra. It was my birthday and Al immediately let me know that Bjs famous pazooki was on the house. He interacted with my family every time he passed our table, kept our drink glasses full and informed us, happily of the daily specials. I was a waitress in my past life, it gets tedious repeating the daily specials. He did it with gusto!.

I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Yazz! From start to finish, his service was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, polite, and professional, making sure we always had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The BJ’s $13 Pazooki meal is a great deal and worth coming. D atmosphere has TV screens and great music through the decades plane. Most importantly, our server Yazz was excellent . He went above and beyond by checking on us several times, offering suggestions, he was extremely friendly and happy, and made sure we were satisfied. We will definitely come back.

Anisa was an amazing waitress! She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Our food is always good. But what stood out today is our server Al. He was extremely polite, friendly, quick and attentive. For the first time ever, our server paid attention to us not just when we first arrived, he took care of us the entire time. We usually wait 15-20 min after finishing our meals or have to flag someone down to get the check because once our food arrives, severs usually move on. Not Al. He was attentive and efficient, allowing us to feel taken care of the entire time, which also helps get others seated faster. Thank Al!!

Food was amazing, and service was too. What I ordered, which was a crispy jalapeño burger, came out quickly and sooner than I expected than some other restaurants—which take annoyingly long. Great flavor and was made exactly how I wanted. Our server, Arianna, was very patient and made sure she was attentive to us. Coming from a customer that’s very critical, Arianna measured up to all the things a terrific server should have. Even took it a step farther to recommend certain drinks that might catch my eye. The noise level is like every other restaurant—full of conversation but just enough to be able to hear yourself. The atmosphere in general is vibrant and satisfied my liking. BJ's is one of my favorite spots to grab a tasty bite and do a night out with my friends to catchup on stuff or just go watch a game, they have a lot of TVs, the chill and lively atmosphere just invites you to do that, love their large draft beer selection, and combine them with either their burgers or pizza you really cant miss, my favorite appetizer there is the fried rolls that have avocado inside with a sweet sauce perfect combination and original as well, recommended for anyone wanting that kind of place and atmosphere

My daughter got a coupon for a free kids meal from school so we bring her for dinner. 2nd time here, always busy. Waited for about half an hour before get seated. They have promotions for gift cards before end of the year. You also can get VIP cards and free beer cups for limited time. The food is great, especially with the house made sources! It had been years since I had last been to bjs and there was a drink that i wanted but was no longer on the menu and I couldn't remember what it was. With my poor description, she was able to figure it out. Oh how a drink can bring memories. I appreciate nani for not only the drink but the long forgotten memories. Now that is waitress that knows how to cultivate an amazing dinning experience. I would definitely return and request to sit in her section.

Went here with a group of friends for my birthday and had a really great experience! The food was great as always and our server Steve was super cool. Half-way through our time there he went on break and then our next server Sam was ALSO super cool. I also like that the place isn't too loud, there's lots of seating, and they have really good specials on various things during the week. Check it out!

Very nice restaurant. Had a little bit of a wait at the beginning and there were several tables empty. Had a new waiter in training who did okay. Huge menu selection. Many options for vegan or vegetarian. The cauliflower Taco was absolutely wonderful. Very tasty.

Very crowded over the weekend. We arrived at around 5:30pm, and was told that the wait time is about 50-55 mins. Luckily, we found a table at the bar area. The 32.95 prime rib set is worth the money 5/27/2024 update: came back again for the prime rib dinner. Dry rub wings taste great, and the service is superb. The only disappointment is that we asked our prime ribs to be medium, but they were well done when served.

Here on Valentine’s Day and great experience. We were seated in less than 15 minutes. Our server George was excellent and very helpful and hospitable. Best service I’ve had in a long time. I’ll be coming back😆👍

My server was incredibly nice and the food was good. My only downside was that I had to ask for the menu, the host didn't give it to me when I sat down, I had to seat myself by the way. I waited three minutes for her to hand me a menu, she didn't even hand me the utensils. When I asked for them she dismissed me and ignored me. My server was kind enough to get me my utensils. My overall experience? Good food, nice server, rude as hell host who dismissed me at every opportunity.

Jorge was such a sweet server! He was attentive and definitely loves his job. Despite having many tables, he made sure to check in on us every so often! The food was immaculate, everything from the burger to the pizookie was very flavorful and presented with great execution!

Had one of the best servers ever - Al ! He was super kind and attentive and was really great at checking in on / remembering everything from our table and all those around us. We came on a Thursday night and were seated right away. The lot is pretty large, but it’s also shared with a few big box stores so it can get busy during the day. Stopped by Fri late night. Our server Madi was friendly, efficient & overall great!!! Our food was so basic and uneventful. The chicken med salad was not worth the $ at all. Extra dry, no flavor, served on cold quinoa. But the arugula/mozzarella side salad was very tasty. The small sized pizookie was a perfect size, warm and sweet. So disappointed with their $14 drinks. (Spent more of 2drinks, than on two plates of food). Watered down, nothing special. Disappointed with the food & drinks, considering the place was half empty at 10pm. Great $13 meal deal avail mon-fri. Plenty of parking, but can get real busy with nearby stores & other restaurants.

The atmosphere is nice and the servers were cool, but they got a lot of orders wrong. The steak salad are not good and the flavor is so off both on the meat and salad, I do not recommend it. The drinks are better this time around. Its a okay place to grab a quick bite, food just okay. Nothing wow! Plenty of free parking.

Ordered the Ribeye to go. Asked for it medium, received it well done and it had a weird taste. Not good quality for the price.

We came her last night to grab a bite. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. I had ordered a brisket and bacon loaded burger and had requested it to be cooked medium. However, the burger arrived rare-medium rare throughout the burger. We also ordered the Bison Burger, which was good, but the chili's on it would have tasted better if they were roasted, as they tasted like canned chili's. We usually come here every now and then and have no issues. Unfortunately, this time, we left with a stomach ache 😫. The beer was good, as was the service, but lucked out this time with the food.

We did not have to wait at all to be seated and there seemed to be a decent amount of open tables. I was notified that the pizza here was the bomb so that was what I wanted to try. I also wanted try the Ahi salad as it looked like it had a decent amount of fish slices. When both the pie and salad arrived it was in a decent amount of time but the ahi slices were minimal at best. Very disappointed, however the taste was not bad so bad. The pizza did have a good taste but compared to other places the price seemed a bit high for what your getting. If I was asked to go I would but I would not choose as one of my top. Another point I have to add is how long it took our server to check on us I was well finished with my drink and the ace was not that busy. 3 Stars and I know they can do better...

I remember BJ’s being a little better than this. The food was terrible. The food came out cold; as if it were just waiting there for someone to deliver it to us. The sliders were rock-hard, the chicken wings were stuck together, the chips were broken into a bunch of little pieces, and the artichoke dip had a layer of rubber cheese on top. Tell me why we waited 45 min for cold food?

If I could give zero stars for the food I would only on this one occasion. I have eaten there many times and really enjoyed the service and the quality of food. However, the waiter thought it was ok to serve burnt fish on a plate with what appears to be eaten fries. Then tells me we are waiting on more fries. The picture shows what was served which looks like someone already ate before they decided to give it to me.

Our second time at this BJs and our last. The B grade (86. Yikes) is also something we dived deeper into today, and it looks like they lost major points due to a lack of insect/vermin proofing. Gross. Our server was inattentive, waited a while just to get our beverages. We had to ask two other waiters for straws and utensils since our server was nowhere to be found. Our order came fast except for dessert which is not a big deal but within the time it took to get it, we could’ve eaten it, paid and been back home. The service here is disappointing. Look into a better location, there’s plenty at an A grade and with better service.

Disappointing experience all around. The service was painfully slow, and the food was terrible. Honestly, the only things I’d recommend are the pizza and the beer—do not eat anything else. Somehow they even managed to burn the pizookies, which feels almost impressive in the worst way. Definitely not worth the wait or the money.

Our table is party of two. Foods were cold & greasy, dirty serving plates piled up at our table like buffet style, and ALL were taken away ONCE at the end, right before we asked for a check. Our server was switched back & forward in between. After the 1st ordered item, pizza was brought out, and he came back to drop off our check and processed our payment. The 'take over', she didn't to tell us her name, passed by a few times, with a quick question, "Is everything ok?" As she walked through between tables, but not seeing a pile of dirty plates on our table until the end, when we asked her to bring a check. About BJ's Happy Hour item, we ordered only one item, Chip & Salsa/guacamole, which is served last after the pizza, calamari, and together with the wings. Guacamole tasted old, and our 1st server told us it's made to order. That's why it was delayed 😀 After we order our beers, we talked about the Happy Hour Margarita with each other and our 1st server overheard us, told us off, 'I can only get you 1 drink at a time', even though, we didn't even order it 😀 We had a bad dining experience and cold food, but we did leave 17.7% tip by thinking our servers had a bad day, maybe restaurant had a short staffs day and we decided not to come back anytime soon.

We were two, our bill came in at $120. We did not order any meats. It was the mini pizza at $20!!! It was the overall outrageous prices for the chips and dip and a sampler. Not affordable!! A mini pizza at $20 really??? Never again

I was sat in the “wrong section” by a hostess. When I waved another hostess down 15 minutes later, she was told by a hostess that I was in a booth I shouldn’t be. He was laughing at the mistake and no one had talked to me in that time to take an order or correct the mistake, like I was invisible. I got an apology from the hostess who re-sat me but that’s it for my troubles and inconvenience. My clam chowder and spinach artichoke dip took 30 minutes to come out and they ran out of iced tea. Also there was a very large of boys who were clapping and yelling after a soccer game and that’s not the type of atmosphere I like when I go out in public for a nice dinner. They were out of control.

Superbowl Sunday. Busy, not packed. Most anticipated half time and biggest sporting event of the year but they refuse to turn the sound on! Half Time show, who knows what happened, commercials- no clue either because the incompetent management can't raise the volume to a level you can hear it. Imagine coming here with friends, spending money and you can hear the game. I'll never come here again

Our second time at this location and they serve the food fast but it doesn’t taste freshly cooked. The servers are busy serving and forgets to take care of eating customers. I had to get my own drink at the bar to finish my meal, otherwise, you will not get refill. I also ordered the new sampler and it came just a few minutes after we ordered. The food did not came fresh because it is not warm and looks like it has been prepared ahead because the lettuce is not fresh and starting to brown. The sliders were cold and soggy, the chicken wings were hard and cold. I am so disappointed with my food today.

Then I considered my childhood dreams. Then I aged spiritually. 20–25 minutes for food to arrive. Not a five-course tasting menu. Not a farm-to-table truffle-infused Himalayan yak reduction. Just regular, basic, everyday food. The kind of food that should come out faster than my regret for walking in. You don’t “get” a server here. You summon them. And not gently. I’m talking full arm extension, airport runway signaling, maybe even a warning flare. At one point I considered firing a starter pistol just to make eye contact. Want a refill? Eating with a group? Congratulations — you’ve just booked a bonding retreat. The kitchen pace suggests they’re growing the ingredients from seed every time someone orders. I’m half convinced my chicken was still in counseling before it made it to the grill. And let’s be clear: this isn’t “busy night” energy. This is “we operate on a sundial” energy. If patience were a side dish, they’d at least serve something. If you enjoy waiting, silence, and wondering whether your meal has been reassigned to another dimension — this is your spot. If you enjoy food arriving within a reasonable window of time like a civilized human being — maybe try literally anywhere else. I came hungry. I left older. Never again.

My visit to this BJ’s felt less like a meal and more like an endurance test. The kitchen seems to have mastered the rare art of making food that is simultaneously lukewarm and overcooked — a culinary paradox I wish I had not experienced. Flavors were muted to the point of disappearing entirely, as if the dishes had been prepared by someone philosophically opposed to seasoning. Service moved at a pace that could best be described as “glacial,” with long stretches where the table might as well have been invisible. Even signature items lacked the spark they’re known for; the Pizookie arrived tired, deflated, and tasting like it had given up halfway through baking. For a restaurant that advertises boldness and variety, this visit delivered neither. It was a disappointing performance from start to finish, and one I won’t be eager to repeat.

Yesterday my bf and I had the WORST customer experience ever. The host told us to sit down at the “self seating” area. It took our server LIZ around 10-15 minutes to greet us and drop off our menus. I don’t know why the host didn’t give us any menus but we waited for a while. It wasn’t busy so I don’t know what their excuse can be for that. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Which were delivered promptly however, we were never able to order our entrees. We got impatient after THIRTY minutes and decided to leave. While we waited, we noticed that she was very attentive with a big table that came in AFTER us and the small tables around that one. She never once came to check up on us or the tables around us. We felt ignored. I don’t know what her problem was but we noticed she would look the other way when she would walk somewhat close to us. If she can’t handle a big section, either give her a smaller one or demote her to host. This is ridiculous. When we notified the female manager (Collette) she was very dismissive. She gave us an insincere apology and didn’t even try to win us over or offer a solution to our unfortunate experience. We noticed a lot of the reviews on Yelp were experiencing the same thing we did. Get a manager that is actually responsible over their employees and knows how to control them. The whole time we were there we noticed a lot of the employees huddled around watching the tv together. It seems like the only ones who are hard working are the bussers. Will not be coming here again.

My table ordered 3 steaks each cooked differently, but when they brought the food out- the staff didn't know which was which. Im not a fan of my food being brought out, taken back and then brought out again. Though my waiter was wonderful I was very disappointed and the steak wasn't good either. I definitely would not come back.

our server was too cool to provide good service. never returned to ask if we needed refills. when I said I didn't need a straw, he still left straws on our table (I HATE waste!) after 35 minutes we got a salad and we are still waiting for food. it's NOT busy. you just have lazy employees. perhaps don't pay them well? we regret coming to eat here. waste of my time and money. I know the time we placed our order because I sent a text shortly after we ordered. the people across from us who arrived after, got their food before us.
