Great food, huge portions, friendly vibe

Great food, interesting dishes, big portions, nice atmosphere, fair prices. We had the Pasta Pasta (scrambled eggs and Penne), Breakfast Quesadillas, Lemon Ricotta pancakes and the Chilaquiles. Yummy.

The breakfast food is delicious with a very 'homemade' appeal. Good coffee, wonderful, friendly service. The place could use a good freshening up and the small tables are very close together. Very good value!

Good menu. The outdoor space is nice. Not the best decoration or atmosphere, but if that’s not what you are looking for, it is an amazing place for a brunch.

The meal was esthetically a work of art (see photo). The menu said two eggs, but it looked like five. Great French toast - better than I can make myself. Needless to say, I highly recommend Joey's Cafe!

They sell Green Eggs and Ham! Believe it or not! It’s an incredible dish too! They scramble pesto with eggs and give you a few slices of delicious ham and some fruit too! Loved it! Had an iced latte as well and it did not disappoint! Their chilaquiles are amazing too and not overly spicy! I highly recommend Joey’s! I enjoyed the service. Simple good service. The restaurant is a gem in WeHo which can often be over the top. People here seem to be chill. Grab a seat by the windows and watch the beautiful over the top people walk by! Great people watching! Speaking of over the top - the prices here aren’t. Food is great and reasonably priced here! The restaurant has a nice minimalist look to it. Meter parking.

Excellent brunch spot with a well designed menu. Joey's breakfast is a winner, can't go wrong with that. Attentive and professional staff. I had the crab cake benedict, which I wouldn't recommend because the hollandaise sauce was meh and the crab cakes could be better, but the roasted potatoes were really good. Will return for their other breakfast menu items, especially the omelettes!

I had Florentine Benedict and added bacon, delicious. Went back the next day and had the breakfast quesadilla which was tasty and a perfect sized portion for me. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in West Hollywood .Recommend . PS buttermilk pancakes good but nothing special, generic , possibly pancake mix .

It has such a nice atmosphere, and the interior design and architecture are amazing! There's indoor and outdoor seating as well, and it was super easy to find an area for two during brunch/ lunch hour! The service was soooo nice and quick!! And the presentation of the drinks was absolutely beautiful and so elegant with such a lovely, memorable flavor to match!! And we just HAD to take some sides to go!! It's really close to a lot of cool spots in WeHo, like thrift stores and clubs, so definitely a super fun, convenient spot to treat yourself when spending the day out!!

We had a really delicious breakfast on this rainy Saturday morning. I would say it’s one of the better breakfast options in West Hollywood. It’s a true classic diner that has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large free parking lot behind the restaurant so parking is really easy. Service was a bit slow for us today, but the food items arrived fairly quickly after ordering once we were able to. They have a fairly large menu filled with all the classic diner options. Today I chose the Crab Cake Benedict and was really satisfied with it. The cake had a great crab flavor to them and were really crispy. I added avocado, which I would highly recommend doing with this dish. I wish they would have hashbrowns as an option because the breakfast potatoes aren’t nearly as good but that is a personal preference. The portion sizes are fairly large here so you will not leave hungry. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast or brunch option in West Hollywood. I plan to be back in the future to try more items.

As a vegetarian he was offered some great advice and went for the tofu options (I stole a nibble and was impressed). I went for the blackened salmon and arugula salad based on our server's recommendation and have to rate it as the top 3 salads I've ever had. Will definitely grab breakfast here before flying out tomorrow.

Joey’s was INCREDIBLE! We chose this spot based off of location and reviews, and it did not disappoint! The food was incredible, the portions were HUGE for a low price, and the entire vibe was chill but inviting. Definitely get the potatoes side if you order an omelette - they were amazing! I was also pleasantly surprised they had oat milk and made me a massive latte!

We had brunch at Joey's and thought it was great. The person serving us was lovely and really added to the experienced. We enjoyed green eggs & ham, waffles with fruit and drinks. The blonde smoothie was particularly tasty. As a relaxed, friendly midweek brunch place, we'd recommend it.

Really happy to stop in here - great food, no fuss. Good service. Meal was a tiny little bit cooler than I would have liked but everything was tasty. Good coffee. I had a tuna melt quesadilla with sweet potato fries, iced tea, soy latte and my partner had a strawberry banana smoothie and eggs on sourdough and bacon on the side Good value for money HUGE MENU. if you can't find something on here you would like you are too fussy

The food was good, with the exception of the bacon, which was a bit greasy and cheap tasting... I can recommend the waffles, the French toast, the oatmeal and the. Avacado toast... All things I've had there on different occasions... Also, the lattes are also good, but take time to receive. The place is always busy and the people there are nice/friendly, both the customers and the waitstaff.

Their healthy choices look better on the menu than the actual food. The egg whites in my boring looking burrito was scrambled with spinach and steak. Steak was over cooked, and taking a bite resulted in draining water out of it. Maybe figure out a way to not have excessive water in the burrito from the spinach or egg whites? It's not very difficult. Fortunately, it was pride weekend so I was able to be distracted by the parade 8 feet away from my window.

Had brunch with 4 friends and we all ordered different plates. Every dish tasted off. None of us finished our food. I ordered the power burrito which was a more expensive item on the menu so I expected it to be great but it was very salty and not a lot of steak. My friend ordered the chilaquiles and he said it was like Nachos. Overall way over priced so the food quality that we received. I ended up paying $35 for food I could’ve got for $10 at dennys.

Sometimes what you order is really good sometime's it's not. Sometimes the service is outstanding, sometimes it's sub-par. Sometimes the atmosphere is awful and the place smells like a dishrag (inside) sometimes it doesn't (outside) Yet Joey's is popular. Go figure.

I usually enjoy the food here, and I’ve ordered from this place several times. However, during my recent order I found a small caterpillar/larva inside my waffle. I know these things can sometimes come from produce, but it’s still something that should be caught before food is served. I still like the restaurant, but I hope they take this seriously and improve their produce-washing and overall food-handling practices. I’d be happy to update my review if I see improvements, because the food itself is great. It just needs better attention to hygiene.

The service was really unfortunately subpar. I came in to Joey's for the 1st time in years. I had previously had good experiences while dining there. I came in to make a to go order. I sat at the counter and ordered fairly quickly. I paid and tipped and continued to sit at the counter and wait for my food. While waiting I wasn't offered a drink, paid or otherwise. I thought that was strange, but it wasn't a big deal. After waiting not very long an order from the kitchen came out and was placed on the counter approximately 5 bar stools away from where I was waiting. None of the staff, waiters or busboys questioned whether the food was mine or asked for a reminder of what I ordered. My waiter came back to the counter looked at the slip and said nothing, so I rightfully assumed the food wasn't my order. 5-7 minutes passed, I'm still waiting at the counter thinking my food should be out shortly. My waiter looks at the slip a second time then calls out the order to me. The food was mine after all. I comment as he places it in front of me that the food has been sitting there for at least 5 minutes. The waiter pretends like he either doesn't hear me or chooses to ignore me. I take my food and proceed to leave the restaurant. Now overall not a huge deal but incredibly annoying when you consider that I wasn't offered a drink, whether they tried to up sell me a beverage or just inquired whether I wanted a glass of water while I waited for my to go order. I also want to mention that I was the only person sitting at the counter during this whole process. Not one waiter who passed the food sitting there or passed me inquired if it was my food. The restaurant was not busy at all. For the food to be made so quickly for a to go order (which is great) then to be placed on a counter and sit there for 5 minutes in an unbusy restaurant before it is presented to me, which completely defeats the purpose was very disappointed. Probably my last visit to Joey's.

Service was really poor on my recent visit. I ordered a soup and a salad and they were served at the same time. I don't understand why a server wouldn't think to serve the soup first, then the salad. It took forever for someone to come over and take our order. Server was absent throughout most of the meal. Also they didn't give us silverware or napkins til our food arrived. They seemed understaffed. Won't be going back.

We’ve had their breakfast several times and it’s decent. However, today I decided to try their entree salad for lunch and was a little dissatisfied. Considering it was a little over $16, the chicken was extremely dry, so much so that I couldn’t finish it. The tuna salad had no seasoning or very little. The balsamic vinaigrette was generic and nothing exciting. This may have been more acceptable if it were just a side salad, but for an entree salad they have to do better. It definitely looked better than it tasted, unfortunately!

Came for a late lunch to find out they are Closed on a Sunday when they are advertising on both Google and their front glass that they are open at 3:30pm

For the price I expect freshly prepared ingredients in my salad. With how quickly I was served the chicken was obviously not freshly grilled.
