The best caviar and lox in all of LA. This place is like a hidden gem but every other person you talk to has heard about it through someone in the community. The owner and his family are the absolute salt of the earth, and they have so many great options like their Pilaf, Pierogi’s, and sooo many different deli meats. So many great frozen foods too. I come at least once a week whether for a big haul or just some snacks. Very authentic touch too (Slava Ukraina)!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. It's been a minute since I've been here, but I remember wanting to try Russian food for the first time and Vikki/Victoria is so kind and sweet. She was so patient, and willing to answer all of my questions about the food as well as any of the products in the store every time I went there. They have some really good and cool food with lots of options to choose from. Cool products in the market to explore as well. Highly recommend coming here.

Kashtan did the catering for our large event and everything was Fantastic! The food was delicious and more than enough. All of our guests raved about the food! The presentation was superb and the selections were the finest. All of the catering staff showed up at our venue early, set-up beautifully, and were so professional and helpful throughout our event. If your looking for great authentic russian,this is the place.its not fancy looking,decor is dated and it's a very small spot but I've been coming here for years with my russian friends families(birthday,funerals,or just dinner and drinks)if you want good russian food,this is a great place to eat it

I grew up in Russia, Mariupol to be exact. I was looking forward to introducing the tastes I admire to my girlfriend. Failed miserably. Looks good, but the quality and taste was awful with everything we got (we got hundreds of dollars worth), a waist. The atmosphere in this place is odd. For good Russian food go to Russia! It is amazing. This place is time frozen Soviet store, pretty freaky.

Looks good, but the quality and taste was awful with everything we got (we got hundreds of dollars worth), a waist. The atmosphere in this place is odd. For good Russian food go to Russia! I really disappointed about service in that store and quality of the candy. I bought candy, and they turned out to be very old and with thick live worms and a web. But the most I didn’t like the attitude of the seller. I accidentally ate one candy and it made me sick. I came to return the candy after an hour, told the seller this. And the seller instead of apologizing told me that I can’t vomit so quickly! Horrible scramble, do not advise you to buy anything there!

Today was the last time I shopped at that store. I was shocked to see the owner handling food (syrniki) with bare hands. I strongly recommend avoiding this place - such disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable.
