I love finding places that I know I’ll be coming back to over and over. I knew this place was going to be it from the moment I walked in. The service here is amazing. The girls at the counter were so sweet and welcoming. They offered their favorites and made suggestions for food. They were attentive and efficient. The atmosphere is beautiful ; the aesthetics are 10/10 and you can tell every detail was considered. The space is not very large but they utilized it so so well. Along the wall there is cushioned bench style seating accompanied by small tables that can also be moved together. In the corner they have a couple arm chairs if you’re coming to catch up with friends or read a book. The coffee was good and they have a selection of specialty drinks to choose from or the good ole classic black coffee. Food menu is also quite extensive with many options to choose from. Most visitors ordered the toast while I was there and it looked delicious. I opted for a sweet dish and got syrniki , which is an Eastern Slavic dish best described as small farmers cheese pancakes. They were the perfect texture (it can be a bit tricky to get right sometimes) , the plate presentation was gorgeous and overall taste was very much calling for seconds asap ( I refrained but it was hard to do). Overall , love love loveeeee!! Will definitely be back. Spasibo! :)

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and recommended a new menu option, which turned out to be incredibly delicious. There is a wide variety of food to suit every taste and preference. You can truly feel the owners’ love for this place in every detail from the high-quality tableware to the thoughtfully designed interior. This place is perfect for breakfast with family or on your own, for reading a book with a great cup of coffee topped with perfectly frothed milk, or for brunch, where you can be sure to enjoy delicious, high-quality food. Thank you for such a warm visit, we will definitely be coming back.

I love this café, truly. It’s Russian-owned and has a great modern feel, with warm wood, cozy seating, and a calm, stylish decor that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. There are plenty of power outlets and the air conditioning actually works, which already puts it ahead of the game. The food is delicious and high quality, including some excellent Russian-inspired breakfast options. The coffee is great, and they also have a solid tea selection. My only real criticism is the water situation. You’re often given a glass with a very small cup, and getting a refill means having to ask since the tap is tucked away. If you’re sitting there working, you’re going to get thirsty, and coffee alone doesn’t really quench that. Aside from that, I highly recommend this place. I’m genuinely glad to see it thriving and hope it continues to do really well.

The space is such a vibe, it reminds me of Europe. You can enjoy great food and actually connect with people here. The owner runs the place with so much passion—you feel it in the food and the service. I had the syrniki with a glass of bubbles and it was such a fun experience! The Greek salad is absolutely must too 🔥

always love coming here!! every visit feels like home 🥹 The SYRNYKY are absolutely delicious, and the quality is always FRESH. Huge thanks to the team for creating such a warm atmosphere and for always serving fresh and tasty food. The baristas - they are attentive, kind, and treat every guest with care. It’s rare to find a place where you feel this comfortable every single time. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here so many times, and I can confidently say this spot has become one of my absolute favorites for breakfast, a light dinner, or catching up with friends over a glass of wine. They have an excellent wine selection, top-notch and delicious coffee, and the morning plate? I could eat it every single day. Finding a place that makes their own salmon is a rare gem—there are maybe a handful of spots in LA that do it, and here, the salmon is just phenomenal. The bread is amazing too; you can tell they put as much love into choosing their bread as they do their wine. I won’t even start on the syrniki—they’re so good they sell out fast and are basically in a league of their own. There’s always a line for them! Drip coffee: 10/10 Flat white with oat milk: 10/10 Morning plate: 10/10 Wine list: 10/10 Salmon: 100/10 Syrniki: A must-try!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this café! The homemade syrniki!!! ❤️were simply delicious, just like the ones I used to have back home. The coffee was incredible, rich and flavorful. I’m truly grateful to the staff/management for their outstanding service, cleanliness, and warm, cozy atmosphere. It felt like I was back home, comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. Thank you for this beautiful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve been going to People Talk LA almost every day since they opened—and for good reason! The food is phenomenal and the drinks are unbelievably delicious. They make the syrups in house too! I feel so lucky to have this gem right around the corner. The space is welcoming, the menu is thoughtful, and everything I’ve tried has been spot-on. I can’t wait to come back and explore their wine selection and wine-paired dishes next. This place is a neighborhood treasure!

Absolutely delicious lunch and the best coffee I've had in a long time! The combination of scrambled eggs, fresh greens, avocado, and smoked salmon was perfect — everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The bread with cream cheese was a lovely touch too. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and seriously amazing coffee. Highly recommend this place!

An incredibly tasty and cozy new café! They opened just a couple of weeks ago, but they’re already impressing with their quality and atmosphere. My wife and I were absolutely delighted — the food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented (the syrniki were amazing!). A big plus — the café is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend checking it out!

Thank you so much for the delicious syrniki – they were amazing! I really enjoyed the service – the team was super friendly and helped me choose what to try. On top of that, it turned out they really care about their coffee! I ordered a drink with espresso and orange juice – such a cool and thoughtful creation. I absolutely loved the design – it’s beautiful. Most coffee shops I visit tend to be more utilitarian, but here you can tell they put real effort into every detail.

So glad I checked this place out. They have European coffee shop vibe with cozy interior and warm service. I ordered their cottage cheese pancakes- syrniki which are served with sour cream and jam and were so delicious. Also matcha tonic was refreshing and had a full matcha flavor. I’m sure people who opened this new cafe care about their food and service and I will be back to try more dishes and drinks.

such a cute concept! had a lovely matcha. we did breakfast- the syrniki were delicious, sweet but not too sweet and accompanied by summer berries. love the concept of an all day cafe… bring a book, have a glass of wine and snacks later. love!

I'm so glad my friend told me about this place! It's not as prominent as the numerous other coffee shops on Fairfax in this neighborhood. It is small and has a nice, cozy vibe, good music, and good amount of seating.

I had a great experience at PeopleTalk Coffee Shop! Their iced latte is absolutely amazing, smooth and refreshing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I ordered an omelette made with three eggs and salmon, served with a side of sliced cucumber. Everything was super fresh and satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This adorable cafe is tucked away on an unassuming street - so off the radar that I drove by it once and nearly walked by it a second time. While it may not look flashy from the outside, its warm and well-lit interior make for such a lovely place to meet a friend or grab a mid-day coffee. The hibiscus tea is phenomenal!

Ummm what a FREAKING GEM?!?? I hope this place never goes away! I went on a two week trip to Vienna and Prague and I’ve been trying to find a place in LA like the cafes and coffee shops I experienced over there. Came across this place on TikTok and everything about this place is a 10/10. Coffee is impeccable, food is delicious (same array of stuff I got in Europe + flavors + quality) and music. Felt like I was in Europe. Such a fan of this spot. Please come to Los Feliz.

I stopped by around Sunday noon for wind-down me-time over book and coffee. I got their Keto Cheesecake per the attendant reco, which she mentioned as having zero sugar. IMHO it's quite steep being at $7 or 8 (can't recall) at that size, but it tasted pretty decent being zero sugar. The texture was neither too dense nor too airy, just staying in between. The blueberries on top would add natural sweetness to it. I would say I preferred the shell to be crispy than soft like it was. I got their Lavender Latte, which I was surprisingly fond of. Probably because it's pretty light hint of the lavender scent itself, which nicely didn't overpower the coffee aroma. I actually indeed just opted for it out of my curiosity but I was aware myself I wasn't that big fan of floral hint in my coffee; yet surprisingly I kinda liked this one. They did have creamier version of it, called as RAF Lavender Latte, which used cream instead of just milk.

We recently visited PeopleTalk for the first time, and my impressions are mixed. On the one hand, the service was excellent. The girl at the counter was so warm, kind, and genuinely attentive that it would leave no one indifferent. I ordered a bowl, my friend had an omelet, and for dessert, we decided to try the syrniki (cheese pancakes). As you can see from the photo, they were served completely burnt. When I asked the server if this was the usual way they were prepared, she was very polite, took them back without hesitation, apologized, and brought us a replacement. Honestly, it wasn’t a huge deal for us — we probably would have eaten them anyway — but I wanted to clarify whether this was their standard presentation. The second batch of syrniki looked fine on the outside, but when we cut into them, they were raw in the middle, as shown in the video. In terms of taste, they were okay, but of course, we couldn’t finish them. We tried a few bites and left the rest. Overall, the food was ordinary, very classic. For an American-style breakfast, it was acceptable, but in my opinion, the prices are quite high considering the quality and execution of the dishes. Another important downside for me personally was the smell inside the café. Since the kitchen is open, all the air is filled with cooking fumes and oil, and after visiting, it’s nearly impossible to get the smell out of your clothes and hair. The café itself has a lot of seating, making it a good place to spend the morning working on a laptop. Many people around us were doing exactly that. Another nice touch was that we were allowed to choose any table we liked right from the start. Would I return? Most likely not. Still, I would confidently give this place three stars. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere truly makes up for many of the food-related shortcomings. If I just wanted a cozy place to chat and enjoy the company of kind servers, I might stop by again. But if I were looking for well-prepared, flavorful food, I would probably choose a different spot.

V

Loved the vibe and coffee was good. But they need to sort out the syrniki recipe - it was absolutely raw inside and this is not how it’s supposed to be, especially when you charge this much for it. Maybe other items in the menu are better but I wasn’t lucky.

I really wanted to like this place and was excited to come, but 19$ for 3 little syrniki is a bit too much. Plus they didn’t taste good, just ok. Coffee is also very much just ok. The atmosphere and people are nice. Cute place to grab coffee but not food.
