Seriously some of the best sushi I've ever had. Absolutely worth every penny. And the service is incredibly precise. Loved everything about it and I will definitely be back. Probably many times!

We're not allowed to take photos, but for a good reason. Since this is omakase, or chef's choice, the dishes will keep coming until you let them know you're about 80% full before ending with a hand roll. They serve you at a very quick, but steady pace, so if you take photos, you would ruin the rhythm. The sushi were very fresh, and the green tea wasn't just tea bag, but authentic matcha powder. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but it's not a place I'd go back often due to its price (min. $150 USD per person) despite the high quality. Just be prepared to take a hit on your wallet.

Unbelievable sushi! Highly recommend. We got the takeout Peter's Choice and it was amazing.

Outstanding sushi destination on Sunset, sitting unassuming atop a strip mall. Omakase at the sushi bar should be the standard here, a simple but effective selection of fresh fish and some prepared kitchen items. Not to be missed.

This place looks like whatever but it's the best sushi I've had without any competition at all. Been all over the world, this place easily takes it. There's just one other place in LA that I used to think was the best of the best....it's been dethroned

a lot of sushi! great dining experience, good service. weird LA location but regardless really solid. would’ve liked a bit less because we were stuffed by the end..

I love coming here with my friends. Hands down the best sushi spot in town. The albacore and the tuna are just magnificent

This place is the closest to an authentic japanese omakase experience I’ve gotten ever in LA. If you have visited Japan and miss it, this is the place to go. The humbleness of the space and servers is just the japanese way of doing things. There is a beautiful snippet of a view from the restaurant as well. We sat down at a table but I would rather go there as two people and sit at the bar to watch the chefs prepare the food. Delicious. Taking pictures is forbidden. I let them now I wanted less rice because of my health condition which made some of the cuts of meat smaller too but the delicacy was so good, that I really didn’t mind it. There is parking down which is only 12$.

The staff are always friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Every time we visit L.A., this is a must-stop spot for our kids. We’re big fans of sushi and have tried omakase in many countries, but this place keeps coming back to mind. While the setting and atmosphere might not be the most fancy, the taste alone is enough to bring us back. In fact, sometimes the small and humble vibe feels even more comfortable, which is why it works so well for our family. I have a feeling we’ll keep coming back every time we’re in L.A!

Great service, a very nice relaxing and quiet place to dine which is surprisingly hard to find these days. I love how they just keep feeding you until you say stop! Such a hidden gem!

Amazing Omakase, the quality of the food and the preparation are out of this world. Never had experienced anything like this before, this must come close to the highest standard places in Japan. How should one describe the interior and vibe of the restaurant... reduction to fully focus on the food, I'd say. Intimacy is guaranteed.

Prepare to pay around 200$ per person for omakase. The food is great. You don't know what you're getting, the chef is choosing for you. The service is splendid, with Japanese attentiveness. If you're visiting from abroad, be prepared to be shocked by the secluded location of this restaurant beloved by celebrities.

Sushi Park is hands down one of the best sushi spots in West Hollywood! I went here with friends and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The ambiance is understated but cozy, letting the food truly shine. Every piece of sushi was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared—especially the omakase, which was a real highlight. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome and taken care of. It’s definitely a splurge, but totally worth it for a special night out. Highly recommend for any sushi lover!

There’s a lot of hype about this place. Thats what got me curious. If you have some deposable income (200+/person), and that’s what I had, this isn’t a bad choice. But if you’ve been to Japan for fine dinning, it might not meet your expectations for a few reasons. Fish selection wasn’t bad, they have a bit more than run of the mill. but the rice kind of ruined it. It had enough moist and favor, but the middle is a bit harder than it should. Almost like they didn’t cook long enough before taking it out to cool. The size of each piece is smaller than expected be about 20%. Normal each piece should comfortably fill your mouth, but every time I ate a piece, it feels like a bit more empty than it should, not enough to feel fulfilling for each bite. Also, Would also be nice if they offer real wasabi, not the substitute from a tube. I know they are going for simple decoration with quality ingredients. But for this price point, not sure if the quality justifies it.

This place falls short of a true omakase experience—it's more like a standard sushi bar trying to pass as one. If you're seeking an authentic omakase, you're better off at Onodera.( even though it’s more expensive it’s worth it) For high-quality sushi, Sushi Gen is a much better option. Also you pay $12 for self parking. A guy who sits there just collects the money without doing anything and have a bad attitude. Whole experience is not worth $200 per person meal.

PROS: Excellent service and quality. CONS: Sushi pieces are really small and like someone else mentioned prices are not transparent (for example 30 dollars for 2 pieces of average uni is in my opinion too much). I think that for the 200 dollars plus tip that they charge per person you can find much better places in LA offering for that price even a better sushi selection (for example we didn't get any toro for that price...). All in all dinner was nice, I was expecting to pay that price because of other previous reviews but I also expected top of the line items. So i guess I will not be going back because I know other places were cost benefit is way better.

This is the most expensive sushi I’ve ever had. We expected that. But we also expected the experience would match that. It doesn’t…at all. The sushi is great, for sure. But there’s nothing about this experience that needs to cost that much. Sushi Nakazawa in Manhattan is better sushi, a cleaner and fancier sushi-like ambience, and somehow costs less. This place is in a strip mall so it doesn’t start off great. But we knew that going in. We thought they’d have at least tried to make it feel less like that in the interior but they didn’t. The place could have been a well-kept Subway. The sushi is, IMO, on par with Sugarfish, which is 1/6th the price.

The omakase selection has pretty solid and almost everything was tasty but for the price point (about $250 pp) the decoration is completely lacking, the rice isn’t premium and the overall ambience just isn’t there at all. We had good sushi but completely unjustifiable price.

Great quality and tasting sushi. The issues I had were the super thin slicing of the fish and the very high prices. I enjoyed the food but definitely not worth the price. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Super small portions and it seems like they want to charge you as much as they can.
