We eat at the diner every Sunday after church. Sometimes we eat breakfast or sometimes we get lunch. Whatever the selection we are pleased with the food as well as the service! We feel at home due to the hospitality!

Excellent service personnel especially, Mary! The menu has a lot of variety to choose from. Sometimes you change your order while you ordering bc everything looks so delicious. Perfect location, right on Old Country road in Westbury. Try it! Parking is a problem though, not enough spaces to accommodate the patrons.

Lunch special was excellent. I had Turkey hero with fries and my wife had Portabello sandwich with fries. So much food half came home with us. Versh, our waiter for our last two meals, took excellent care of us.

The Harvest Diner is great. We have been going there since it opened in 1980. We moved about 15 minutes from there in 1985 and we still go back regularly. That's says a lot! I grew up in Westbury and as kids in the 60-70's we went there all the time too. It was the Post Diner back then. So many good memories.

My fave diner! They call me "Mr. Howard Stern," even though l am NOT him! Excellent food, more than generous portions, great staff, clean, modern, chic without snootiness and plenty of free parking!

Of all the diners on Long Island, this one has to be the best. it's manu has all the usual standards, but many unique favorites. I also find the quality of the food to be fresher than most other diners. Defeinitely my diner of choice!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I live in Queens and go here. They have a large variety of food, and it's all fresh and delicious. I can't recommend Harvest enough. From their matzo ball soup and their chicken avonlemeno soup, to their entrees, paninnis and wraps. It's all good. The only problem is there's so much good food, it's hard to decide what to eat.

I love this diner! They have nightly dinner specials so for $18 dollars you have a lot of choices and drink, soup and dessert are included. That includes Salmon and 2 pork chops too! A long list of choices makes for a great night! Xoxo

Place was immaculate in terms of decorations , and overall a very clean restaurant, everything is well put together and pleasing to the eye. You are always greeted when coming in. Food tastes very good. A nice touch that I never seen another diner do is, when you order something that requires maple syrup....the syrup comes warm! Makes it taste so good! Staff is always friendly to my kids too!

This was my first time coming to this diner. Our server Jenny was the best. She made sure my veggie burger did not use any butter, making it vegan! She also suggested the sweet potato fries. My picture doesn't do the food justice but it was delicious!

We were just leaving a graduation ceremony and wanted to grab a quick and small bite to eat before dinner later that night. We were greeted by warm, friendly staff who accommodated our larger group (7 of us) and moving tables and chairs around so we all could sit comfortably. Everything we ordered also came out promptly and accurately. Nothing had to be taken back to be reheated or corrected. We only got some appetizers and small entrées, but they were very delicious and cooked to perfection. I ordered a pizza burger with French fries, medium rare cook on the "burg". The burger was cooked perfectly, the mozzarella cheese was nice, the fries were fried a nice golden brown, and the cocktail sauce for the fries was great. I also asked for Mushrooms on the burger since it's not part of the order, and they came through. The marinara sauce was odd. It was runny, darker red (almost the color of BBQ sauce) and didn't look right at all, but the flavor was there and then some. I was very impressed with how good the flavor was on the marinara considering the texture was weird, to say the least. Having said that, in the end, flavor is what counts and not presentation or texture. Overall, I give Harvest Diner a 5/5 stars, which I don't do often. For a quick pit stop, the food was great and the wait staff treated us as if we were spending hundreds of dollars vs $50-$60. When we come back to Long Island to visit family again, I will definitely look forward to my return visit to try some Red Velvet Cake that we missed out on due to time constraints.

This is my goto diner. They are a bit more upscale than your regular diner but the prices are completely justified. They are open relatively late and portions are enormous. They have some really good specials on the weekend. This is a great place to go to be it a hungry weekday night or a weekend time out with family. I love it and I keep going back for more!

Never had any problems here. I used to come originally when I was in high school--the cast of the drama productions would come here as a sort of afterparty. It's a diner with amazing food, and it's pretty clean. Service can be slow at times, and they do mess up orders sometimes...but not too often, and they always fix the problem.

Delicious plate sized pancakes - taste like they're made with butter or buttermilk. Hot syrup much better than usual bland diner fare - so a little goes a long way. Perfectly toasted muffins. Coffee is ok. Place is packed for a Thursday 10am. I was seated immediately. Clean. Parking is a bit tough as it's just off main road.

Standard Greek diner but the decor is a little outdated. The food was good and the portions were adequate as were the prices. Food was prepared in a timely manner. There is a large parking lot. Overall, a nice place.

Place was packed but they accommodated our group of 12. Service was fairly quick considering. Workers were cordial and seemed experienced or well trained. Diner quality food, better than many while not as good as some. Parking seems appropriate for size of diner. It seemed to be a clean place, no flies, litter or odors. Would not go out of my way to go there, but wouldn't avoid it either. If diners are your thing, you should like this place.

I've been coming to this diner since I was a child so perhaps, for nostalgia's sake, this rating is a bit more than this diner deserves. Nonetheless, pleasant environment and generally friendly staff. A recent menu change has reduced available dish options, but there is still something for everyone. We enjoy coming here after a late night for the chicken nuggets, waffle fries, french dip and the stuffed french toast. Plenty of healthy options as well with an impressive salad list.

So last time I went here and I visit here 2 to 4 TIMES a month. Thid this last go-round we sat there and waited over 20 minutes just for someone to come and bring menus I had to get up and go question as to why we had not had someone come over and even greet us sometimes a customer service is a little suck here but the food is always great

Wasnt too crazy trying this diner food was average at best grilled chicken had a little fat on it somehow on my open faced grilled chicken bistro sandwich the fries were pretty good that came with it and our waiter wasnt very attentive didnt offer refills on our drinks and once our food was out he came once and we just got the check probably wont be coming to this diner rather go to others down the road

Here's my experience / you be the judge. I was waited on by a very young and inexperienced waiter. I had a bad feeling about him when he arrived with my sandwich without any pickles or cole slaw - being a long-time diner eater, I knew that should come with any sandwich without me having to request it. Next, the cole slaw came spoiled, no problem, he took it back. He never once returned to tell me anything about the cole slaw or offer me anything else (i.e. potato salad, extra pickles, etc.). Not that the cole slaw is such a big deal, but it's the principle; so I walked over and approached the also very young manager (owner's family?) to explain the situation - he listened very courteously (and told me "they are fixing the cole slaw" - I didn't know cole slaw could break), but also did not offer me anything, and I noticed that when he walked away, he was shaking his head in disbelief (that I was making a stink about it). I told him that his staff is unprofessional, joking around, not checking on customers, etc. but he seems the same way (young & non-caring) since he seems to spend a lot of his time fraternizing with his staff around the cash register area. Not good. My meal ended and I was never offered anything else, just a thank you and have a nice day.

Food is better than average but still a diner. Great place to have lunch. Decor makes you feel like ur not eating at a diner.

My friend and I went yesterday for breakfast (our first time). It was nice. She ordered veggie omelettes I believe. Although she didnt like the pulp in the orange juice. I ordered the Latin breakfast. They gave a lot of toast which I love eating buttered toast with my eggs. They werent stingy on it. It was filling. I enjoyed it! The iced tea was good. Not bad. We had a nice server. I only give it a three because its my first time there. Will go again for something else.

Buffalo chicken pannini, wow I didn't think buffalo anything could be this bad, like nausea inducing bad. Only giving 2 stars for the fries which were ok and the decor which was nice.

Though I like booths, their decor needs updating. The check pattern is similar to that of an old bbq joint. There were three of us dining and the two soups and one salad should have been served at the same time. Instead, one of our party had nothing while the other two waited and one soup chilled before the other came out. Patrons should not be served pre-formed frozen buger patties. How difficult is it to form fresh ground meat into a burger and slap it on the grill? One of us got beef and another got a turkey burger. The only difference was the amount of time they were tanning under the sun lamps. The sweet potato fries were greasy, but I did enjoy the water.

Really disappointed, service was medioka..... barely had my coffee refilled, serve didn't seem like he wanted to be there and mumbled when he talked. Home fries were old and HAD no flavor, asked for onions, didn't taste or see them. Asked for a buttered roll it came dry......... not a place I would go back to

I was seated right away which was the best part. The waiter was able to bring my coffee right away but took an extra 5 to 7 mins to bring my water. The soup came before my water. The soup was good, the chicken sandwich wasn't bad but the potato salad was bland and mushy. Felt like i was eating slop. The waiter never came with my check. I waited 10mins after my table was cleared and decided to just walk up and pay. The hostess who was very nice, asked if i never received my check. It seemed she felt this was common. Beautiful dinner in terms of property but the service was poor.

Not one of my favorite places. The Staff was nice but the Lasagna was extremely Salty. The Salmon tasted well but the bread that they gave us tasted as if it was days old, hard and terrible. The chicken parmagiane was good surprising and a knife that they gave us had the handle so old that the plastic looked like it was hairy. The owner came around and I informed him of what I thought. He didn't say much. Bathroom wasn't bad but could have used a bit of cleaning. I wouldn't go back to that place.

Probably would avoid it right now since it burned to the ground unless you really like Well Done BBQ. But I hope they rebuild since I've been going there for years and it is a really really good place with great food and nice people so I hope it's rebuilt soon and they get their jobs back

Just got home from picking up takeout. Got a Chicken Cesar wrap and 2 slices of blueberry pie. The wrap was fine but as you can see in the pics, there was mold on both slices of pie. I called in and asked for a refund which the server seemed to agree to. Let's see what my bank statement says..
