I was looking for somewhere DIFFERENT out of the ordinary to carry the wife for our anniversary. This place didnt disappoint. Not that fancy fancy like where we would go but it was definitely nice. Waitress was GREAT and knowledgeable of the food/menu. I would DEFINITELY go back!

I visited City Cellar last evening for happy hour. The restaurant was very classy and well maintained. I sat at the bar which had hooks ladies for your purse. I had a coconut margarita which was ok, but the berry sangria was phenomenal. I also had the honey Sriracha chicken sliders which were great . For dessert I had the carrots cake. It was very well presented and tasted amazing. To top it off, 2 drinks, sliders and dessert only cost me less than $50 since it was happy hour. I will definitely be back.

Their meats such as the organic chicken are flavorful and the perfect amount of being juicy. Apple pie is good.

City Cellar in Carle Place is consistently impressive. The ambiance is stylish and comfortable, making it a great spot for anything from a casual dinner to a special night out. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and professional—our server made sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. The food and drinks were excellent, with great attention to detail in both presentation and flavor. You can tell the kitchen and front-of-house teams take pride in what they do. The wine list is thoughtful and well-curated, with something for everyone. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish. Highly recommend City Cellar if you’re looking for great service, a nice atmosphere, and quality dining in the Carle Place area. We’ll absolutely be back

The cheese board was a nice size, but lacked bread to accompany the board. I had the tuna which was cooked perfectly and seasoned so it didn't overpower the tuna. The food was better than I remember from my last visit years afk.

This place is really beautiful. Overall this place is great. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good food and good wine. So I had the white peach sangria, it was amazing ! Not too dry nor sweet. Just right. The food is really good and the customer service is great too. Everyone is very helpful and making sure everything is good at your table. Came here for LI Restaurant Week. EVERYTHING was a hit! The crabcake was pure crab, NOT full of (or any) breading/ filler. The wings were big and plentiful. There were so many options for the entrée that I couldn't decide. I let the waitress decide, and she picked the right choice. The pork chop was huge and tasteful. The drinks were on point, creative, and strong. The cheesecake was smooth and rich. The presentation of everything was beautiful. Definitely returning because there's so many things on the menu I still need to try.

Me and my family viset there after my graduation and We all were impressed. The interior was nice. The waiters and waitress were all nice and hard working. Food took a while to arrive longer than we expected but it was all very delicious. If we are nearby again we will definitely love to arrive. All were very respectful and nice and even the manager.

Second visit 5/1/21 Last night, I was so happy to get back to this awesome restaurant again. We had a party of 8 and was able to be seated early which was nice. Toya was our waitress tonight. She was such a spark of personality while taking our order. She gave us some wonderful recommendations and was spot on with her great service. We started out with a nicely displayed meat charcuterie board. There was a nice selection of meats along with cheeses, delicious. We also started with the fried calamari which was amazing, nice and crispy served with a marinara sauce and a mayo type dressing. The baratta was fresh and tasteful, and we also had the shrimp tempura tacos. What a great start! For dinner, my wife and I ordered the Lobster mac n cheese which was the hit of the table. Everyone wanted a taste, hey.... get your own haha! We also ordered the potatoe gnocchi, the glazed salmon, turkey burger, ragu as well. All the dinners were outstanding! For dessert, I had the NY cheesecake which was topped lightly with fruit and sugar crisps. All in all, this place is really amazing and a great place to go in groups. We had an awesome time (party of 8) and were never rushed. We sat for over 3 hours and enjoyed every moment. Toya was awesome with her service and conversation. I highly recommend City Cellars! First time trying a new place today.... (not bad, 2 in 2 days post covid) City Cellars is a wonderful restaurant, with a very nice and inviting outdoor dining area. The food is excellent. I ordered the burger, nice side and delicious. The pizzas looked amazing, they say 12" but it is more like 14-15". I saw that come out and wished I ordered that, yum. The sesame tuna salad was enjoyed and a nice portion. The french dip was enjoyed as well. Pablo our waiter took very good care of us.

We have been to City Cellar twice now and they never disappoint us with the food and drinks! Amazing! I ordered the peach white wine Sangria and it was just what you need on a hot summer day 🙌 Ask for the Applewood Smoked Bacon as a starter. For dinner we ordered the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna and the Double "R" ranch short Rib. Delicious!

Lunch, brunch or dinner or drinks at the upscale bar, whatever your pleasure, City Cellar can comfortably accommodate. They have a business lunch special for under $20, includes an appetizer and entree. Today there were four of us. Three chose the lunch special and enjoyed either the hearty tomato bisque or the hummus and crisps. Both were quite the presentation and tasty. For lunch, three picked the Chicken Quinoa Salad, and one chose the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap. The quinoa was red, nutty and added color upon the crisp greens. The cutlet was sliced and mostly cooked. The wrap was spinach with hummus, feta cheese, and most enjoyable. The fries were delicious and so crispy few got left behind! The atmosphere here is cosmopolitan and inviting. For a moment you may mistake this for a spot in Soho instead of Long Island. For those seeking party spaces, they have both indoor and outdoor accommodations. In warm weather, you can enjoy casual seating and fired heaters at night outside, and if finding an intimate wedding, shower or event location, these rooms are conveniently also located by the water closets making your guests feel the setting is private as one need not traverse the public dining areas to use the loo. City Cellar also has an excellent selection of wines to enjoy.

Everything about this place is fabulous. The wine, the food, the staff. Always very friendly and the food is delicious. Even simple dishes they somehow taste magical. I’ve been coming here consistently since moving to the area and will continue to do so. This place also has a very nice, very large, outdoor patio. However they don’t allow you to sit out there with your dog. City Cellar please consider allowing this - it is an open outdoor space and you would have so much more business (and appreciation) from the community if we were allowed to bring our furry friends outside. All of the other restaurants with outdoor areas in this town allow it so not sure why this place has not followed suit :(

After waiting over an hour to be sat at Peter Luger, we changed plans and so glad we did!! Food and service were above and beyond. We should have just came to City Cellar first, lesson learned!

Everything was fantastic! City cellar made our brunch engagement party so special! Will definitely be back for dinner and would recommend this restaurant to anyone for special occasions! Their party room in the back is so spacious and perfect for big parties!

I havent been to City Cellar in a bit but im glad i made the trip back. Came Saturday night and place was packed. Grabbed 2 seats at the bar while waiting for a table. Anis made a great old fashioned and lychee martini (my favorite) . She was clearly busy but manager Eric came to help and even let us taste a house made Banana Bourbon… delicious. Got our table and Vanessa made our night even better. Had the Pork Chop and Rigatoni Bolognese both amazing. Great service all around and food and drinks, ill be returning more often .

Me and my co workers just celebrated our holiday party here and it was amazing! The service was fast, the staff were super kind and professional, they did not rush us and they took really good care of us! We were a party of 28! So that says alot. The restaurant itself was beautiful and clean, the decor was very nice and their bar is really nice. The food and drinks were chefs kiss! Their endless sips brunch is top tier! When coordinating this event, I spoke with the managers mainly through email and it was seamless and smooth! The communication was clear and pricing was on point. I recently attended my annual holiday party, which is usually boring. But this year it was at City Cellar in Westbury, NY, and we all had a fantastic time!! The first thing i noticed was the great atmosphere and vibe. We're a group of 50 people, and we were seated in a private room, which made the event feel extra special and intimate. We also hired a top-notch photo booth company, and the food was outstanding!! My favorites were the Maple Glazed Salmon, Brick Chicken with M&C, and the Rigatoni Bolognese, which was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. In addition, the prices were surprisingly affordable for such high-quality dishes. Overall, it's a wonderful choice for group events or casual dining. I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.

Our server was super friendly, professional and on top of her game. The food was incredible, and the value was amazing. We went for the LI restaurant week special. We had wagyu beef sliders and hummus for an appetizers, ahi tuna and filet mignon for the entree and the smores sundae and wild berry donuts for dessert. All of it was delicious, but I think the sundae stood out the most... although I need to say, the steak was so tender I was able to cut it with my fork!

Octopus appetizer is amazing as well as the scallop risotto. It was our first time there and almost everyone around us ordered the spinach artichoke dip. Will have to go back and try it! The Mr. Bubbles cocktail is delish! I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had our wedding this past weekend at City Cellar and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We wanted a less “traditional” wedding venue but still wanted to have a DJ, dancing, and a seated dinner so that is how we picked this location. I also loved that the room had some charm with exposed brick, greenery and decorative lighting so we didn’t have to add a lot to it. We had 95 guests so the space was the perfect size, we were lucky enough to have great weather so guests were able to hang out on the outdoor patio which has adorable café lights and heat lamps if needed. The staff was wonderful, they had plenty of servers and 2 bartenders so there was no issue with waiting for service. Our guests all said the food was delicious and drinks were great. The Event Managers (Matthew and Kate) were responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They helped tailor a package that worked perfectly for our budget. Highly recommend City Cellar to couples looking for a unique space that doesn’t feel too “cookie cutter” but still feels like a wedding!

City Cellar was the perfect venue for our surprise wedding! Matthew, the event planner, was amazing and so accommodating, and Kate helped make everything seamless. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were strong, and the space was so beautiful we barely had to decorate. Our guests can’t stop raving about the food and how gorgeous the venue was! Renting both sides gave us access to the outdoor patio and an extra bartender, which kept everyone happy. It was the perfect space for our 100-person wedding and by far the most reasonable price we found. Highly recommend City Cellar for any event!

I am way overdue on writing this review! My group of 7 visited for a joint birthday celebration on 4/26. I am so glad I found this gem! The wait staff was amazing. Shout-out to Hailey! The management was so flexible, because we edited our reservation at least 3 times the day of! The atmosphere was very chic, modern and relaxed. The food was amazing! The appetizers were definitely shareable and tasty. We ordered the wings, Lobster mac, Calamari and the dip. The Flank steak and Filet mignon were the entrees of choice, and everyone enjoyed their plate! I don't live close, but I will definitely return in the future. This is definitely a restaurant to keep in your old Faithful list. City Cellar is my new favorite LI hangout. Thank you guys again for making my birthday celebration so amazing! ☺️Sorry I only have pics of the dessert!

The filet was cooked to perfection, tender and the bacon jam was the bomb! The lobster Mac was packed full with lobster and had a subtle lobster flavor that did not overpower the dish. My only complaint was that the dessert was barely warm at best.

I recently visited City Cellar Restaurant in Westbury with a friend for their happy hour, which runs Monday to Friday from 3 to 7 PM. We decided to try their prix fixe menu, which offers a great deal at $35 per person for a starter, main course, and dessert. For starters, we ordered honey wings and beef sliders, both of which were flavorful and well-prepared. For the main course, we both opted for the rigatoni bolognese with short rib, baby mushrooms, and parmesan. The dish was delicious, with the short rib adding a rich depth of flavor. To finish, we had gelato sorbet made of blueberries and pistachios for dessert, which was a refreshing end to the meal. I had hot herb tea with my dessert, while my friend enjoyed a cappuccino. We also accompanied our dinner with drinks—Prosecco for me and Chianti for my friend. The atmosphere was lovely, with pleasant music and plenty of space. Despite it being a Friday at 5 PM, we didn’t have to wait for a table. Our waitress, Angel, was absolutely fabulous—friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant offers various seating options, including bar seating, tables for small to large groups, and private banquet rooms for special events. They also offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 11 AM, and according to their advertisement, live jazz music on Sundays. Another perk of City Cellar is the ample free parking in front of the building, including spots for people with disabilities. If the weather is nice, you can even choose to sit outside. Overall, I would highly recommend City Cellar for anyone looking to catch up with a friend or celebrate a special occasion. The experience was okay. Nothing stood out as significantly special. The food was pretty good but there are many other restaurants in the area with the same or even better quality that cost less.

Cute place. We went on a Sunday for some wine & small pizzas. Sat at the bar without a problem, it’s pretty big. The restaurant is very big too and multiple tables were filled. They also had a small jazz band which was lovely & the perfect volume. Wine selection was great. Bartender was friendly & on top of things. He also made us aperol spritz’s which were good, I would have liked less seltzer though (that’s not how I make it at home). Would definitely go back again.

We met old friends here for dinner. On Tuesdays they have buy one pasta and get a second one to take home which was a nice bonus. My wife and I shared the Gnocci with Shrimp and Pasta with chicken and Spinach. Both were very good and looking forward to more at lunch today.

Beautiful place for a brunch with live music and a good selection and food and drinks. Giving 4 stars because management could have handled our situation better. My son waited 40 minutes for a waffle to be told the machine broke - there is nothing else he would eat on the menu. In addition to removing the item from the check, which is obvious, we should have received an additional discount for the inconvenience and my son not getting his meal. The waitress was lovely and apologetic but this is where management should have stepped in and handled it better.

Had the ravioli delish! The server was awesome, his wine suggestion was great! However, the appetizers (wings) were gross.

We celebrated a birthday for brunch and we were a party of 30 people. The place was big and comfortable, nice decor, a huge bar. We were not rushed out. Our server took our orders pretty quickly, and food did not take long. However, our drinks took a while it seemed that there was only one server to that side of the restaurant, and it was hard to get her attention. The food was delicious.

I got to go to City Cellar as a part of restaurant week. The restaurant is well decorated and our waitor was super accommodating and sweet. The food was good too, especially the tomato bisque! It stole the show.

Food was delectable! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Service was Moscow as the waitress was also the bartender and then added a hundred automatic hundred dollar tip to our 500 bill. Where I don’t think it was just deserved as we constantly had to ask or remind her or them items we asked for or ordered. However, besides that. The wait time was great and the food was phenomenal. Everyone had a great time.

I hate ordering chicken at restaurants but I love their chicken here. Crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside! And the Boursin mashed potatoes were scrumptious. Others in my group got the short rib, duck breast, and salmon which were all tender to the touch. Drinks were amazing too!

We had dinner on a Saturday night it was late around 830pm Because it was the only reservation available. It was crowded but not overly Because it is a big place. I had the octopus appetizer and duck entree. My girlfriend had the tuna appetizer and roast chicken entree. The appetizers were outstanding. Octopus was delicious with some chorizo sausage and her tuna was great both very tasty. The duck was I think undercooked and a little tough. Her chicken was good but not outstanding. We had the tartufo for dessert which was good. Total price with tip was $190. They would have gotten 5 stars if the main courses were a little better. Otherwise it's a nice place waitress was attentive and pleasant. Overall dining was great experience

Good place to meet and eat. We order the hummus plate and grilled asparagus, both of which were very good. Our waiter was a little difficult to find tho so when we had a question my dining partner had to hunt him down but no biggie. Nice ambiance although I personally don’t like music playing when I’m dining with people unless it’s very subtle. Parking lot out front can get somewhat congested but we went on a Sunday so….. I would come back here on a weekday.

Upon entry, I felt I was being transported to a utopia-like place. We wanted to take advantage of their prix-fixe items ($35 for starter, main entree, and dessert Monday-Friday) that are offered from 4p-6p. We made it just in time! We were waited on by Courtney who had a pleasant demeanor and positive attitude. I elected to get the wagyu sliders (only 2 offered on the prix-fixe menu but 3 on their regular menu), rigatoni bolognese, and flourless chocolate cake for dessert. I also sipped on a frozen mango margarita which was divine! The sliders were good, the rigatoni was okay, not bad but I've had better and the cake was hard. I should've chosen the ice cream/sorbet option instead. I also ordered the lobster carbonara to go but was surprised by how little was offered for $29. Overall I enjoyed the vibe and the time spent with my party.

City Cellar offers a diverse menu of wood-fired pizzas, pasta, steaks,and more. This restaurant also has a bar with so many crafted cocktails. My friends and I came her for brunch. We ordered Steak & Egg, Short Ribs Hash, Salmon Benedict, Brunch Burger, and Sampler. Staffs were attentive and friendly. City Cellar is located in the Roosevelt Field Mall area, it's convenient for those looking to dine before or after shopping.

Nice place. The appetizers were great. Fried calamari delicious and fresh, short rib egg rolls were over the top outrageously good. Entrée was duck breast with cauliflower puree and some out of this world cherries 🍒, highly recommend. Service was good too. The things I didn't like were... the bench seating, there was no seat support, you sank right in, time for new. Two other things that really bothered me for a nice establishment... gnats or fruit flies were extremely annoying and there was a slight foul smell of dirty mop bucket water. Every time I got a whiff, it was gross. I worked at enough food establishments in my time to know that distinct smell. Not very appealing when eating. Luckily the food was excellent.

City Cellar is a great place for a casual dinner or date night dinner. Ambiance is nice and service is attentive. We’ve been coming here over 10 years and dined many occasions. When we went a few days ago they changed the menu and got rid of New York Strip angus steak. We were disappointed so ordered something new. Our favorite is Truffled Mac and cheese with lobster. So much lobster meat! It’s hot and cheesy until your last bite. Honey sriracha chicken wing is another winner. Spicy, sweet and portion is huge. They used to have many other great salad options but keep changing their menu. I tried poke bowl but won’t order again. Stay with basic salad and that will be much better. All of their desserts are good. We tried almost everything and all good!

We had reservations so we didn't have a wait at all. There were only 2 of us but we were given a huge semi circle booth with a big table. The seat cushion wasn't that comfortable and sank in quite a bit and the upholstery had some rips in it... The food was definitely decent and presentation was good 👍... The service was very sporadic and basically slow. The bread 🍞 was dry and came with a plate of plain oil for dipping which was tasteless. We got the rock shrimp and grilled octopus appetizers which were pretty good. I ordered beef short rib. My friend had the shrimp and scallops with risotto. We also had peach Sangria and desserts !!!

Had the chance to visit city cellar for restaurant week and overall a pretty good deal. The appetizers are all terrific, recommend the wings and all the salads. However, the steaks were just subpar. Had to send two back to kitchen because they were both overcooked. Also our waiter was great, provided us with terrific service.

One of my friends suggested this place after our original New Year Day Brunch plans fell through. I've always driven by this establishment but never had the opportunity to go there. I'm so glad I got the chance; the atmosphere and ambiance felt mature and pleasant. The decor was amazing. Our hostess was amazing, very knowledgeable and professional; he definitely accommodated to all of our needs and we weren't disappointed at all. The food was outstanding; my only hiccup was the octopus appetizer was a bit salty but it was still good. The drinks were awesome. Will definitely come back!!

I really enjoyed City Wine Bar & Grill. It was a loud place, but filled with lots of positive energy. The decor was cool, service was wonderful and the food was very good. Our waiter Pablo was knowledgeable, made great recommendations and a fun personality. Our group enjoyed some nice cocktails, wine and Port. The Thai Mussels as well as the grilled octopus were fantastic starters. My lamb shank special was awesome and fell right off the bone.....really tender and full of flavor. My wife enjoyed her branzino. Our friends said their steak and duck dinners were very good as well. This place is not cheap at all. The bill was around $250 per couple. So although I really liked my experience, I will probably come back only for a special occasion and not a random weekend night out. Overall worth a visit!

Went for Brunch, the drinks are good, they have a nice little jazz band on Sundays, that was nice too. The food was bad, we got 4 apps and they were meh, we also got a dessert, "hot" donuts that came ice cold. Our server was very accommodating and nice. Would only go back for Drinks.

It was our first time here. The place is very pretty. The staff was nice. The server was not good. We got served warm water. It was also very warm inside the place. The waiter took forever to take our order. Our food came out faster than him taking our order. We often times had to raise our hands for his attention. It may have been due to a staff shortage or something. The menu is a bit different from your average place. I got the hanger steak which was really flavorful and tasty. The cream spinach was nothing special. The portions are very small for the price you pay. I would definitely go back and give them another chance since there are some things I would like to try on their menu.

Went for a date night with my husband atmosphere was nice service was extremely slow and the place was empty, drinks were weak. When I went years ago the food and service was amazing. But it just seemed to go downhill. I will not be returning unfortunately!!

I've been here several times. The food is very good, but my dining recent experience was challenged. The table was wobbly, I had to try three pepper grinders (snagged from other tables) before I found one that was filled, and I feel it took a long time to get our food —not that we were in a rush. I kept having to find the waiter to ask for more water. That said, I have no complaints about the food quality. Leave room for dessert!

The host led me to a soiled table and disappeared. A new table was found in a reasonable amount of time but it was obviously cleared in a hurry; my seat and the table were wet and one corner had remnants of the previous patrons meal. The rock shrimp tempura is a solid choice but the truffle fries are both overcooked and soggy. The lobster sliders could use salt and perhaps a lemon wedge but the aoli makes it quite rich. Edit: My server saw to it that my fries were replaced and the new batch was delightful! They were crisp and fluffy. I believe they used rosemary to compliment the truffle and it works phenomenally! The wines are what make this place. They have a dynamite selection, however, with Total Wine right up the street I would suggest one get glasses or flights here to figure out what they like and buy bottles from Total Wine to avoid the mark-up.

Very disconcerting when there are little bugs flying around your table….gnats or fruit flies! Doesn’t really matter. We moved to another table with the same problem. Finally my husband spoke to the manager and we were seated at yet another table which seemed to be bug free. The food, when it finally came WAS very good. A little disappointed that the manager didn’t even buy one of our drinks. Oh well, there are plenty of other restaurants.

Just went to city cellar the first time. Food was good and service in beginning was excellent. I was overall pleased with my experience. However, upon getting up to go to the restroom before our entrees came out, I ended up tripping (all the way towards the end of the restaurant, there is a step where carpet ends and tile begins) I didn’t realize there was a step there and almost completely wiped out. I ended up rolling my ankle pretty badly and didn’t think much of it/our waiter ended up getting very busy toward the end of our meal. But I am in agony from tripping where I didn’t realize there was a step. Food was great and I had a good time but I’m now sitting here writing this review with an ice pack on my swollen ankle. :( It’s actually so bad that I am afraid I sprained it or broke something in my foot. Beware of the step going down to the bar area from the main dining room! I called to let someone know and the person who answered argued with me that there is a sign warning of the step. There is no sign. For how rude she was to me (also claiming there was a railing where I fell- there wasn’t- I would have used it!) just dropped my rating overall to 3 stars.

Food was okay, service was very slow. There was still a bunch of people in the restaurant and they started vacuuming the floors at 10:30. The atmosphere by the bar was cool.

My wife's friends treated us to brunch here. For a Sunday afternoon, the place was nearly empty. We ate outside, on a wooden table, under a rickety awning that both looked like they'd seen better days. Portions of the table appeared as if they were literally sinking. It caused one my wife's friends to spill his tea all over his lap (luckily he wasn't burned). Food was OK. I started off with grilled octopus, and thankfully they kept the skin on (not all restaurants do). For my main, I went with the pastrami melt, which came with a choice of fresh cut fries or home fries. I opted for the latter. The rye on the pastrami melt was a bit TOO toasty for my liking, and the home fries were pretty much just greasy potatoes. I should add that the water was lukewarm, and every time our glasses were running empty, for some reason instead of refilling our glasses or leaving us a pitcher, they just kept on adding additional glasses of water to the table. Why? I got a brief look at the inside of this restaurant. There was a live band playing swing, which was nice. But they were playing to a nearly empty restaurant, which was sad. Me thinks this is one of those places that's way more active at night, but who knows?

We visited Saturday March 8th to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We chose City Cellar's as we have been there before and wanted her to enjoy her special day. Our visit started out well as we were sat promptly at a booth as requested. We didn’t receive menus so asked the young man that brought the bread and he complied. So far so good. Then our waiter, with dreadlocks, approached us. I sensed an attitude, but could look past it or so I thought. He asked if we wanted water and my brother asks if Figi brand water is available. The response was “no” as he looked away bored and annoyed. We didn’t even get an alternate option as to bottled water. This obviously doesn’t sit well and I ask for a few more minutes. I proceeded to the front desk and asked for “a different section and preferably a different server”. That individual should not be dealing with patrons with such an attitude, probably no product knowledge, and ruining diners experiences with his nasty demeanor. Thankfully we were sat with another server that was a breathe of fresh air. I believe it was Pablo (wears glasses) and he helped rectify what would have been a horrible experience. He did bring me the wrong drink though, made like I was wrong, and gave attitude as well when I pointed out a glass of wine on our check we didn’t order. On top of that there was another drink on our bill that wasn’t ordered and was told “it’s the same price as the one you ordered so just pay it”. How are we to know the price was the same? He should be more attentive to his job and not put the burden on guests. He eventually fixed his mistakes, but that added a sour note as well. The saving grace was the food which we enjoyed. I would hate to not visit again because the servers aren’t up to par or out right rude. Will give it another try eventually ensuring I don’t get the initial server from the evening. P.S. A disappointing note is that after hearing our complaint and changing tables not one manager came by to check on us and there appeared to be a few on the shift. Not a quality check as to how we were doing or how the food was. Makes me think no one there cares about the guest experience.

Nice looking restaurant. Food was ok. Nothing to go crazy about. Ordered the steak and french fries. For the price I would expect more. Steak was fine but the fries while tasty were served to me in different sizes. Some were normal length but most of them were like someone ate most of the fry and left me the end. I feel they served me the leftovers or the fries people did not finish. The best part of the meal was the gelato. This was not my 1st time there but definitely my last. It continues to get worse each time.

Very underwhelmed. 2pm lunch on a Friday. Some tables sat but not terribly busy. Sat by the host. No menus for 10 minutes. Then eventually server(also the bartender) came by. I only ordered the rock shrimp app and glass of wine. Shrimp came. Eventually the wine came. The shrimp app is served in a rocks glass. Difficult to eat from so I pourd on to my bread plate. After a few bites, the rice of the dish tasted like refrigerator air. Not thrilled. The highlight of the experience were the 3 fruit flies that seemed enamored with the table sin e we sat. Overall, overpriced for quality, service and experience. Will not revisit.

We had a dinner meeting with appetizers only.......not even close to enough food and it was so basic. Walking into the place it smells amazing I was looking forward to something tasty.....but it didnt happen! I am sure if you sit down to an actual dinner it would be better.

Amazing food, the duck and waygu sliders were incredible. However, they had the worst service I have ever experienced in Long Island. Our waitress took our drink order, brought our drinks, and never returned for 45 minutes. We were here for an hour before ANOTHER waiter came and took our food order. Then our waitress comes back and we ask for some more water and she disappears into the abyss again never to be seen for the rest of the night. Then we tried to complain to the manager but she seemed confused too. Overall, I would order takeout, the food was delicious but the service is just unacceptable.

This place is definitely not the same as it was 10 years ago. I went on Christmas Eve. The table was dirty. The restaurant was divided with a curtain where we and other patrons were seated. No big deal right? However, you can't see the ambiance that's so much marveled on their website. When we asked to get a different table we got a quick " we can't " response. The food experience was mediocre. Tiny drink napkins to rest your utensils. The tables are not dressed with table cloth not even paper. I was disappointed and thought my local diner is better. On Christmas Eve, I thought this place was going to be something to remember in a good way.

We went to this place to celebrate my birthday but we didn’t feel comfortable because it was so hot inside, maybe the AC wasn’t working and the lights were very bright so we were sweating a lot. I brought a cake and gave it to them so my friends could sing happy birthday to me at the end but the crew cut it off without asking me so I didn’t get a birthday pic with the cake. It was a complete disappointment because we expected to be a great experience and end up screwing my birthday. By 9pm they were passing brooms and mops when they’re still people eating like they were forcing us to leave, when the restaurant closes at 10pm. Food was good, it was actually the only good thing about it because service was bad, management as well. They never took care of us just did a discount for the discomfort of cutting my cake without asking or bringing beforehand to the table, but it was a little too late to try and fix the mistake. I didn’t had the chance to even look at it. To end this review, I have to say that we might never go there again, because the 12-13 people that attended to the birthday got very disappointed.

JUST BE AWARE of food ordering, for the second time I was there ordering a Portahouse steak and twice didn't get a complete Portahouse. First time the Filet side a New York Strip was in its place where you can see the fat strip going across the meat and was completely out od shape contour to the bone. I immediately brought that to the manager's attention, which by the way was very very rude and arrogant, completely lied and told me that was a Portahouse. Last week friend want to eat there and told him I wouldn't go there but finally convinced me and went there. Once again to make sure if that wasn't a pattern we order another Portahouse and I asked bone in filet side, sure enough once again didn't get it bone in number one, and number two the Filet side was piece that was a cut of Filet from another piece due to the size and shape that was so obvious (photo uploaded) at this point just not going there anymore is the answer. Just be aware because I'm sure that is not the only thing they do.

Went for dinner on Valentines Day and I understand this is a busy holiday. They ran out of lobster Mac (how do you run out of food on arguably one of the biggest holidays for restaurants?) we waited over an hour for our entrees just for the food to be bland (and over priced imo) The waiter was spread very thin and ignored us pretty much the entire time we were there. Poor service and subpar food 👎

Had Thanksgiving dinner for 6 people ! It was horrible. The turkey was dry ! The vegetables were blah. The stuffing was like a rock. We had additional appetizers that were ok. Not great. I will never come back to this place and I have been a regular and had my daughter’s baby shower there. Fort $1000 I never again !

Porterhouse for 2 was cold, no manager walking around, they reheated still cold. Do not recommend on valentines day.

We had a reservation on and waited more than 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered our drinks, which weren't bad, but not excellent. My drink had all the lemon seeds in it. The hummus was okay. Our New York steak was served cold. We asked them to heat it for a few seconds, and they returned it just as cold, served in foil with super cold bread. It was a complete disaster. The waitress suggested another main course. We asked for our bill. I asked what day she recommended for a quiet meal, as they were having a party and the place was very noisy. She suggested Monday or Tuesday, which were their specials. We were looking for good food, not specials. $160 for a steak that only left a greasy taste in our mouths and on the plate is unacceptable for a restaurant 4 star. MANAGER never gave to us apologies o try to fix this situation we don't expect free meal maybe only we wanted to knows why or what happened in our situation.

A Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish I recently dined at this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing on multiple levels. From the moment we arrived, things felt off. Despite having a reservation, we were seated at a booth in the bar area, which felt like an afterthought. To make matters worse, the host made a comment that came across as insulting about us having made a reservation in the first place—an uncomfortable start to the evening. Once seated, service was severely lacking. Our waiter seemed completely overwhelmed and, as a result, our table was mostly ignored. We struggled to get refills, place additional orders, or even receive basic attention. The kitchen and inventory issues were glaring. The restaurant had run out of bread, a basic staple, and—most surprisingly—run out of the lobster for the lobster mac and cheese, which was a key reason for our visit. This was not communicated until after we tried to order it. The final straw was the mishandling of our steak order. We specifically ordered steaks at different temperatures, but every single one was served uniformly medium-rare. This lack of attention to detail on a core menu item is simply unacceptable for a restaurant of this purported caliber. In summary: Poor seating, inattentive service, key menu items unavailable, and a critically botched main course. This was not just a mediocre meal—it was a complete letdown. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5 Stars)

I am absolutely shocked. I made a reservation at this place and I have never had an problems. I absolutely loved this place because everyone was nice and very polite, but today I came across a very rude hostess that assumed we had no reservations. Apparently she is family of the owner and “that gave her a right” to assume we were not allowed to come into the restaurant. If they had an event going on, then I would understand not being able to make a reservation, but the availability was there when I called. I did not want to write this review because I love their food and staff, but wow this was the worst experience here with A HOSTESS that’s supposed to be welcoming and not shutting you out as soon as you walk in?!
