Large and airy, typical diner experience. Varied menu, efficient friendly service. We enjoyed our breakfast.

I have been going to this diner for many years and they never disappoint. The food And service is terrific, the staff is very nice and the place is very clean. I’ve been to other diners in the past and they haven’t had any of these things I am mentioning. Two of them closed there doors for good because of those reasons. I tell everyone about this diner and how outstanding it is. It’s always crowded and they don’t rush you in and out. Highly recommend and not to mention they give you big portions for not so much money.

When we arrived, the parking lot was packed, so we were worried that it would take a long time. However, we got a table right away and our server was very prompt. Our food came out very quickly and it was delicious. My 10 year old son says it was one of the best hamburgers he’s ever had and my BLT was perfect! We were looking for a real old school diner experience and they nailed it.

I was surprised that the service was so good today, considering we came later than our usual time and got caught up in the lunch crowd. The lot was practically full with just a couple of spots available. Ous server was attentive and polite. He checked on us several times throughout our meal. I liked it! It was recommended to me by friends who have lived in the area. I was in town for work and glad I got to check it out. Had split pea soup and a grilled cheese sandwich, comfort food for me. It came with cole slaw and a whole pickle.

Who doesn't enjoy going to the diner especially after a dance, night out, or able to order breakfast any time of the day or night? Carle Place diner has something good to offer for any meal. For those with a hearty appetite try the Monte Cristo sandwich for breakfast plus. Nestled between two thick slices of french toast is a good slice of ham, sliced turkey, and melted swiss cheese. Russian dressing is served on the side just in case you prefer maple syrup as a sweet finish. Their burgers are juicy and come with all the fixings or pick your own. Another lunch favorite, big enough to share or save for another meal, is their Cold Cut Platter. Rare roast beef, ham, turkey and swiss cheese are rolled and sliced atop crisp iceberg lettuce. Creamy potato salad, kalamata olives, thickly sliced cucumber, and egg accompany this delicious dish. For dinner, they often serve a delightful prime rib slice or try the half roasted chicken with apple and raisin dressing. For a late night snack, they have good mozzarella sticks, fries, and fantastic egg dishes. The staff is always attentive, and there are multiple rooms to accommodate plenty of diners.

This review is for José. He is such an amazing waiter. Whenever I come in, I’m always greeted by him and he always remembers what I like to eat. He is so nice. Also, the breakfast here is delicious. I love their feta cheese omelette with sweet potato fries. The feta is excellent and the fries are crisp. It’s really a great diner!

This diner is under new management and is doing extremely well. Majestic Diner east of Carle Place Diner was my go to place, but after Covid that place has never been the same and the quality in food has gone way down. I decided to give this place a shot and the last couple of times I’ve been coming and ordering take out, the food has been delicious. Management is really friendly and so is most of the staff. Plenty of parking despite being on very busy road. Keep up the great work!

What can I say you can never go wrong with breakfast. I’ve been here a couple times since I’m typically in Roosevelt Field Mall so I manage to get some banging breakfast from them. I tried their cappuccino for the first time and that was actually type delicious, just add a packet of sugar or two. Belgian Waffle on point being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. What would make it more official is some authentic syrup. My fiancee said he French Toast were nice and fluffy too. Outstanding food is all I can say, and close to shopping center. This diner was excellent. I used to live on the East Coast and came back to visit for the weekend. The hospitality here was great and the menu was the classic East Coast diner experience. A menu a mile long but every single item on it is worth trying. Staff were incredibly friendly. They had a table waiting for me before I even walked in the door and greeted us like we were regulars even though it was my first visit. 10/10 this is how you run a great diner. Definitely stopping in here again next time I'm in town.

What a great diner. A classic. Here you’re going to get you’re classic New York “Greek Diner” fare, but the quality is just better than most Diners I’ve been to. I love vegetarian options and usually get the Spinach Pie at Diners. The Spinach pie here was exceptional and very well made. Very crispy Home Fries as well. The service was fast, friendly and attentive throughout the experience. I had a lot of questions about vegetarian options and the staff was very friendly and explain the menu to me. They really took the extra time and I felt valued as a customer.

Dependable service all around when it comes to this place. It's a family go to for Birthday breakfast or lunch. Never disappointed. Staff is super friendly. Would recommend 100 times over. Lot can be crowded at times. bathrooms can use some attention as mens has only 1 toilet stall and 2 urinals. Other then that it's always a hit.

We all ordered breakfast and the prices were a little more than we had anticipated, but the portions made up for it and we were pretty satisfied as far as what you get for the money. I had pancakes and was thoroughly happy with them. Service was excellent compared to what we found in the area. Some at the table was a little under seasoned, but we assumed that the restaurant is aimed at senior citizens, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix.

Classic diner, great atmosphere usually love the classic diner fare. Recently got the Chicken and waffles which was excellent... except the maple syrup was awful, all high fructose corn syrup, I would have happily paid more for real syrup which would have made it one of the best meals I've had at a diner.

The diner had a warm and fuzzy atmosphere. I got the Belgium waffle delux, which was $11.50+tax. The waffle was really fluffy, and delicious. You get 3 slices of bacon, a slice of ham and sausage. Overall it was good food and the waiter was nice and attentive.

The Carle place diner has been a fixture in this neighborhood for a long time. They serve good tasty food at reasonable prices. It has a family atmosphere of the restaurant a little quieter noise level on the restaurant side of the restaurant. The wait staff is professional and polite. They have certain dishes that I prefer like the broiled striped bass over a bed of sautéed spinach. That is an excellent meal. I also enjoy their fried fish fillet sandwich. You get a real piece of flounder fried of course on a bun and a staple is their pork souvlaki or chicken souvlaki it’s excellent fresh tasty the prices of their meals range from a fancy fisherman’s platter at around $50 per person down to a pork souvlaki deluxe which will cost you around 20 bucks. Their breakfasts are also spot on. You can get anything from whole wheat pancakes to Belgian waffles with ice cream.

So if you want a throwback diner in the area, this is the spot. This is a large establishment and as usual for a NY old school diner, the menu is a book. Don't expect Michelin star meals but the service was exceptional. The atmosphere is lively and the facilities are clean. The omelettes were under seasoned, as expected, and a bit flat, but the portions are large, the stalls are clean and you can talk and hang out with your company as befitting the old school diners of yore. Not a bad place to get some food, but nothing to travel out of your way for.

2nd time they've done this in as many weeks. I walked in for an order to go. last time my side dish was wrong, this time i ordered a corn beef sandwich and they gave me roast beef. didnt find out until i got home again. i like to give the local places my business. Really dont know if ill go back.

The food and service were ok. It's when the bill came that things went wrong. My family was charged over $41.00 for 2 orders of chicken fingers and fries. I understand inflation is still high but that was ridiculous. We asked how they came to that price and they said they charged us individually for each item. I don't recall seeing those prices on the menu. My husband didn't want to get into an argument and paid the price but I felt duped. Please be careful when ordering items. Well, location was clean. I ordered scrambled eggs with a child hood favorite Chocolate chip pancakes. Eggs were over cooked and so where the pancakes. It was a little disappointing. Will say they had good fresh coffee.

The food was good coleslaw and pickles were perfect the fries were good but needed another minute in the fryer a little hard on the inside. The burger had great flavor. Now my biggest pet peeve at a restaurant is they say fresh burgers and ask how you want it cooked but they give you a frozen burger that is packed and solid texture there is a big difference between hand made burgers and frozen packed it was obvious i asked for a medium burger and received a hockey puck quite disappointed from a place that had such high reviews. The Carle Place Diner is a bit of a throwback to the diners of 30 years ago. Family run, better than mediocre food but the staff was patient, friendly and responsive. I usually don't expect much from diners because of their nature; the menus are always too big, the place has too many customers. Carle Place Diner survives even post pandemic still even a bit better than before, and good for them. Their fried chicken is freshly made and not frozen. I do believe they need to work on their fries a bit as they get too soggy too fast (double-fry will fix that). Their burgers are big and plentiful. They serve the classic slaw and pickles and their silver dollar pancakes are a bit more than a silver dollar. I decided to try their Cheesesteak egg roll just to see if it was worth the ten bucks and honestly it's pretty impressive!

I travel for work and eat at a lot of diners. The place was clean but oddly devoid of customers being around dinner time. This should have been my first clue. Most diners make you feel welcome. This one, I felt rushed, like I was an inconvenience. I had selected this place because of the 4.3 stars it got. That rating was extremely generous and not accurate with my experience. I ordered a hamburger, milkshake, and mozzarella sticks. The strawberry milkshake wasn't a milkshake. It was a glass of milk, but there wasn't a hint of ice cream in it. The burger was $9 for an 8oz patty. If you wanted lettuce and tomato, you paid $5 more. The mozzarella sticks were meh. Truthfully, I could have gotten a better meal at the Wendy's down the road. There are other diners in the area. Look at those before choosing this one. I can't imagine the Carle Place Diner will be in business for much longer.

After the food was served they forgot about us, we were looking to get one more cup of coffee but no one was available. when finally some one came to our table yelled at Max: ‘“Mas cafe” (they were very unhappy) and Max responded to us: ‘wait”’ he then started to do other things and we also needed one more coffee refill. On one fellow diner's plate of pancakes there was a hair that he didn't order. I asked for a lightly toasted English muffin and it got delivered crisp with burnt edges. The chocolate egg cream I asked for extra sweet came with very little chocolate syrup in it. The only positive is that there was no up charge for substituting lettuce and tomato for potatoes.

Food was good but the service was horrible, the waiter ignored us the entire time I had to look for him and he kept checking on every table near us multiple times but not once did he check to make sure we were ok. Then I spoke to the manager and he was like speak to him and pushed me off to another manager who basically made excuses as to why me and my party was being ignored. Then to make things worse when my husband was eating his burger it was raw he told the waiter he wanted well done. When I complained about this the waiter pretty much roll his eyes and said we will take it off the bill like the audacity that we had to deal with so much to just have a nice breakfast. Horrible experience!

Im pissed! $16 for a "specialty sandwich." And it's ONLY Lettuce and turkey on a roll. No tomato, mayo, etc. Nothing "special" at all! Asked for a refund, was denied.

Food was cold, coffee taste terrible, waitresses was not friendly at all and the woman’s bathroom was discussing, toilet paper all over the floor and the garbage can was overloaded around 2pm.
