Wow! The Mi Xa Xiu was sooo good, and the server was very sweet. Welcoming and personable is not usually what I expect at an authentic viet place, but this place is it. Overall a great dining experience

Hu tieu and everything taste very good, cheap and big size, Pork bones taste yummy. I will come to this restaurant from now on for noodles. And they give you extra 1 bring home if buy 2. Good place to try on.

#1 Hu Tieu: Shrimp was fresh, properly deveined (unlike 99% of places around here). Broth complex and flavorful, so much protein for $14, noodle texture on point. Will be back regularly

We found this restaurant by doing a Google search for "Best Hu Tieu restaurant" in the area. The portions and prices are fair. They have buy 2 get 1 free noodle bowls, and buy 1 get 1 free drink specials. We got the #2 Hu Tieu with egg noodles and the #2 Hu Tieu with rice noodles. Both were delicious! We will gladly drive the 90 miles from San Diego to eat here in the future. This is an excellent restaurant. They are not Cash Only, we paid with a VISA credit card. Update: We got the #1 Hu Tieu Dac Biet with lobster, one with egg noodles and the other with rice noodles Both were delicious. Update: We got our usual again, the #1 Hu Tieu Dac Biet with lobster, one with egg noodles and the other with rice noodles. Both were delicious. Update: Got the #2 Hu Tieu soups and they were delicious. Got Cafe sua da and change day, and they were good.

This is the place to satisfy my cravings for Hu Tieu Nam Vang. They also have other Vietnamese food like Xi quach, gio chao quay, nuoc mia, banh canh, hu tieu ca. The only thing that could be better is their sizing: the bowl is just too big. Otherwise everything is perfect. No MSG dizziness afterwards.

Food was good. Server can’t understand English so it’s authentic. Although I do wish the bean sprouts and greens given were more chopped up. The dry egg noodle was really good though.

I was expecting Pho but they had a different type of noodle soup which I wanted to try out. Their special noodle soup consisted of pork including heart, shrimp amd quail egg which was very delicious. The umami flavor was out of this world. Definitely, love the the vibe of the mom and pap shop.

Nice small place , very tasty soup , me and my wife go there once or twice a month , prices are reasonable.

Good hu tieu, forgot to bring cash, but thankfully there is an ATM around the corner. There is a bit of a language barrier. Good food for the price, the Thai tea has a nice flavor, to be perfectly honest I'm not sure what gives it it's flavor. Not the best on customer service due to the language barrier, but we were provided with everything we needed to enjoy our meal and not asked every five minutes how the meal is, so on the flip side it was nice to enjoy our meal in peace. The fresh basil, cabbage, and bean sprouts was good.

Cash only! Food is Ok. I finished my hủ tiếu mỳ đặc biệt even it is different than the hủ tiếu that I used to eat. The bowl is really huge with a big shrimp than any hủ tiếu bowl I tried.

Not the best Vietnamese food I ate. It was alright but not too exciting.

I hate to give bad ratings, especially to small businesses. Knew I shouldn't have trusted my parents recommendations. Oh well, it's just one meal. And they had to eat the same blah food as us. Just not good. Service could be between 2-3 stars. Friendly in ways, but at times, like getting stared at, hoping we would leave soon.

After seeing so many + reviews on Yelp and Google, we decided to stop by and try their Hu Tieu. Sadly this is one of the worst Hu Tieu we ever had. Only the "soft" noodles version is available, not the "chewy" ones. We ordered our noodles with the broth served separately. The broth was so salty, the protein ingredients accompanying the noodles are plain and tasteless. Either you don't know better what is good Hu Tieu, don't fall for the false reviews. Very disappointed!

I bought hieu tieu seafood with broth and banh canh. It did not have much flavor but salt to me. The broth for both tasted the same the only difference was banh canh had a red color to it. It was very disappointed consider that it had a average of 4 stars.

Although the food what some what decent. I had the worst stomach problems the next day including my entire family. To be honest, 4 out of 6 of the people who dined with me had 1 or more diarrheas. I would never ever go to this place again.

Long wait, non-detail-oriented service. Meat was partially raw in xiao long bao and there was no soup in it.

2 years ago the noodle and the broth was good, not great but good. Today the broth does not taste the same ... broth goes down but the price goes up to $15 ! Same owner different cook ? Thua mì gói Nissin, vừa ngon vừa rẻ !

Terrible service. I ordered Mì Hoành Thánh, but they messed up my table ticket and gave out another dish. I told one of the servers what I ordered and he got confused like he doesn't even know the menu. Then he asked me what would I want them to put in my noodle bowl, I then said "I ordered Mì Hoành Thánh from the menu, why are you asking me about how the food should be made?" He brought me a bowl of noodle with 3 fried wonton on top. I got tired of arguing so I just ate it and told myself not to come back here ever again.

As I went to this place I waited about an hour to get all my food and I expected the food to be really good,but it was mediocre at best.Also they were advertising funnel cake but when we asked to order the final cake they said they were just showing it for the future.

The hot pot no good ! Snail tasted nasty ! Service very bad . No good & dirty . You can try #1 soup to see if it is good I am not come back ! Sugar drink no! no ! from the Can , not original fresh just make like at Long A they make in front of you .

I don’t know who is saying this place is affordable. Also make sure you check your receipt when you get it - they don’t input the name of the orders correctly so you really have to break it down to make sure they don’t cheat you. Luckily we were surprised by how expensive our meal was and checked and they charged us for an extra drink and bowl of noodles! There is definitely better Hu Tieu places, and my sister and I had some stomach issues when we got home! Also when we tried to order Sugarcane in kumquat… they said they didn’t have someone to make the juice even though we saw other tables with them. Then 10 min later after we got Thai tea they brought us Sugarcane juice with coconut instead! They also charged us for an extra sugarcane (as mentioned above) The servers were rude to my dad. He would ask in Vietnamese if he could order and they would say “don’t confuse me! you’ll have to wait for your waitress!” even though no one came to us and told us they were our waitress… so we just sat and waited for another 10 min before someone came to get our order. Don’t believe in TV advertisements!
