First of all, I LOVE THIS PLACE! I want to share this gem with you all. It has that old timey diner feel and the service has always been amazing and it was again today. The place is not fancy but it feels like home. A very relaxed vibe and that customer service that feels like family. FOOD: We both got the Ribeye Benedict. The Hollandaise today was a little thicker than before. Usually it comes out nice and creamy. The steak is well seasoned, slightly salty, and the eggs are poached nicely. I asked for the hash browns to be well done because I like them crispy and they delivered. We didnt get the pancakes today but they are also very well done! Overall I would give this place a 5/5. The Service was amazing, and there were just missed on the food that caught me off guard because it is usually 10/10. For a small Diner this place definitely knocks it out of the park.

I came here for brunch with a friend. This is the classic American diner experience. Exactly what you would expect. The eggs Benedict were great and the hash browns came out extra crispy just as I asked. The atmosphere is classic American diner and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Goldenwest diner is a great place to stop by to grab classic diner food.

I ate here years ago when it was operational under just the Spires name, drove by today on the way to San Diego and decided to pop in for breakfast. Very pleased with that decision 😊 The ambience was very pleasant and our waitress was top notch. The menu had a great variety as well as the prices being very reasonable. Food was really the winning factor. The taste was better than most restaurants, almost had a home made quality of freshness and flavor! If you are withing the O.C. this place is worth a visit.

Phenomenal service, great pricing, tasty options. We went in on a weekday morning. They weren't too busy but they definitely had enough customers to keep them busy. The place was very clean. Despite the drab coloring of the cornbeef hash, it was probably the best we've ever had and the omelet was too. Everything tasted so fresh and crisp. The waiter was on top of refills (which if you've read my past reviews- is a big deal to me) and the clean up crew was on top of it too. Any time we had a plate cleared, someone would come and pick it up, ask us how our meal was. There was a small issue with my payment. I guess he typed in the wrong number and I had to pay a second time but it wasn't a big deal at all because the service was so great. We will be back. Perfect breakfast spot.

My whole family loves this place, the food is perfectly seasoned and the portions are so fulfilling. I got the salmon dinner and it was buttery soft, my son got the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and had plenty to take home. The lentil soup is hearty just like homemade 😋 this place is a Westminster classic 👌

This is where you want to come if you want good old tasty dinner food. The interior decoration brings one back to the 70s. One can also find menu items that can’t find in the modern restaurants. It is our first time there to meet up with our friends who live nearby. It was so difficult to choose one thing because all look very good. We had different dishes and all like it. Food were yummy with good portion. We plan to go back when we will be in the neighborhood again!

Solid breakfast food, quick service, and multiple "regulars" having breakfast. I would liken it to a Black Bear Dinner, or Denny's but better food. 3.5 for food. Rounded to 4 for good service. I sat at the bar. Multiple patrons greated me which brought a smile. Waitress recommended the eggs Benedict. Tried it. Benedicts can easily go wrong, but enjoyed it. Good poach on the egg and assembled well with reasonable hollandaise sauce. Great service Rosa! Price was a little higher than I wanted ($15 for Benny) but things are just more expensive everywhere it seems. At least it was served quickly, with a smile, and coffee kept full and hot. If I woke up with a new lover to impress I might go elsewhere. But otherwise I'd happily cruise in again with the wife and family. This location has been her for more than 40 years as some form of breakfast restaurant. It has that worn feel in someways, maybe bathroom, but it wouldn't stop me from coming. Mentioned for anyone who requires fancy at breakfast. $20.99 + tip for Benny and coffee. Lots of seating. 30 ish 4 tops. Bar with 7 seats. Couple of parties of 8 type booths. Outside looking glass room that looked like it could be used for large party if needed. Takeout business seems popular.

Old and kinda run down but still appealing to me since I grew up watching movies set in old style diners. I would give this place 3.5 stars. They have indoor/outdoor dining. Service was excellent, our server Lucy was one of the most accomodating servers I've ever met. For the country fried steak, they give you the option of chicken or beef. The beef wasn't available so I went with the chicken and it was just okay. Ordered the corned beef hash as well and it tasted exactly like the hormel or any grocery brand corned beef hash you get from the grocery store so not worth getting. What stood out to me was their coffee, hash browns and french toast. I would come back again for the french toast.

I order to go food. Each time I order a baked potato, I get a day-old potato. The rice pudding contains hard rice in it. Last week, I ordered to go food and they left out the dressing for the salad. I ask that they provide fresh food and be more attentive when filling the order. I did not want to write a bad review, but each time I ask to speak with the manager or owner, they are not available.

Placed and paid for an online order and never received a confirmation. When I called, I was told there was no order and was rudely blamed with “if you did it right, we would have your order,” despite the charge already being taken. A coworker in the background admitted the order would be on their tablet, but the tablet was dead. It would only take a couple of minutes. After arriving at the restaurant, the food hadn’t been started and was asked to reorder everything after already paying. No apology was offered, and I had even prepaid a tip for this to-go order, which I regret. Extremely poor customer service and a disappointing experience, especially for a birthday dinner. AND, no dressing for my two salads.
