Sometimes I have a craving for duck braised in Chinese Herbs Noodles soup. This one is a special duck leg marinated in like Chinese Medicine Herbs, with the darker soup and darker skin. The best place would have a very tender duck leg, not hard and the meat you can taste with the special chinese herbs and the soup and noodles are different from all other soup. Last time I was in OC, my friend introduced me this place and it's the best one I've tasted so far. It was so good that I came twice. My sister like the bbq duck noodles soup which is good too. Since I'm always hungry, I have to ask for the extra noodles for $2. The prices and the services are great, very inexpensive and the service is attentive and quick. My wife also love this duck soup, I'll bring her here next time when we go together.
Delicious and consistently good noodles with super fast service. I love their affordable prices and big portions. Recommend getting their dried egg noodles with roasted duck or seafood. They include a complementary jelly which is a nice touch.
Today got chance to try noodle house at Hue Ky Mi Gia. I order the dry noodle with dumpling, rice noodle with roasted duck and dry noodle with wonton. This resto open till 02.00am! Today i ate here they give you free dessert small pudding like on the picture!
Great food and service all around. It’s rare to find top notch service at an Asian restaurant. Their hu tieu mi is so good and the portions are huge
We ate at this place in Seattle. I can tell you this is much better. The noodles and everything are fresher. The meat and wings. The jelly dessert is definitely good.
This authentic family-owned Vietnamese-Chinese restaurant is located inside Today Plaza near the T&K Foods Market. The restaurant is a fast, casual place for families to dine-in, the food is served quickly once you are seated and finish ordering. Overall, I would say this is one of the best Vietnamese-Chinese noodle houses in Little Saigon. It's even better to dine here on a super cold day, because the soup instantly warms you up.
So the foods were basically as same as any others Noodle house restaurants and the portion was a bit smaller. The service is definitely being improved, staffs are friendly and care more about customers. I like the way they made Wonton so if felt like the one I ate long time ago in Vietnam. Definitely come back here occasionally.
Definitely recommend this place, it's feels like vietnamese and Chinese fusion.. I ordered the roasted duck soup. It was delicious 😋 We got a great server. She was fantastic The place has a grand opening sign ..so it's fairly , I wish them success since the last two restaurants didn't last
I came here when they first open and it was bad bc it was a hot day and they didn’t put on the AC for a grand opening week. So I didn’t eat. The owner came out to apologize and was very kind and nice. Sooooo I came back a second time to give them a try. It was pretty good noodles and the broth was on point. If it wasn’t for the owner I wouldn’t have came back. So I give them effort.
Best mi khô and wonton soup. This soup reminds me of soup in China town ( chợ lớn) when I was in Vietnam. The best banh bao custard in town. Highly recommend
I had Hue Ky noodles as a child since the owner had a stall across the street from my house on Cach Mang Thang 8 street, Saigon when we both were in Vietnam. They moved to the U.S. 30 years ago. I moved to the States as well. After that many of years, I am so happy to find them again in Little Saigon, CA during my visit from Minnesota. Everything tastes just like what I remembered since 30 years ago. So nostalgic! The portion is huge. We had mì vịt tiềm (duck noodles), mì khô thập cẩm, hủ tiếu khô thập cẩm. My best vote will be for hủ tiếu khô thập cẩm.

I used to go to this place when I lived in Seattle. Very cool to see them in socal. I ordered the same dish here as I did there, the MX1 which is crispy egg noodles topped w stir fry veggies and meat. Very tasty. The crispy noodles soften up as they absorb the stir fry sauce.
Saturday 1/17/26 Lunch at Hue Ky Mi Gia with my mother, sister, and brother in law. Ordered the braised duck noodle soup. It delicious! Flavorful soup base and great braised duck. Restaurant provided a free Logan jelly desert. The restaurant is brightly lit, clean, with a nice decoration. There are many service staffs who worked quickly to serve customers. On weekends there are lots of customers however due to the many service staffs working quickly you don’t need to wait long for a table. I recommend trying out this restaurant. We tried 3 dishes: big rice noodle and big egg noodle seafood soup, sui cao soup, and combination thin rice stir fried noodle. They were all pretty good. They gave us small little desert.

Food: I enjoyed their seafood egg noodles plus wontons. I wish their wontons were made with shrimp bits in it because the fillers were all grounded meat. I think adding in shrimps will make wontons crunchier and tastier. Service: my first time here and I was disappointed a bit with their service. My party sat down before other tables, but no one came to take our order. I had to flag down their employees to get our food ordered. Pretty bad service because they were not attentive at all. Atmosphere: a moderately loud environment, like how one would expect at a Vietnamese restaurant. It is clean and nice interior decor than other Vietnamese restaurants.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hue Ky Mi Gia, and it was a delightful experience. The noodles brought back fond memories of my childhood, capturing the authentic flavors I remembered so well. The portions were incredibly generous, ensuring that I left completely satisfied. If you're looking for a place that serves delicious, nostalgic Chinese noodles in hearty portions, Hue Ky Mi Gia is a must-visit!
I recently discovered this newly opened noodle spot with a soft opening. On a rainy day, I decided to take my mom there to try their Cantonese noodle soup, which I have always loved since I was a child. We arrived at 10:30 in the morning and were surprised to find the place already packed. After a 15-minute wait, we were finally seated. The waitress was incredibly friendly and informed us that our order might take a while. Although we didn't mind waiting as long as the food was delicious, we noticed many tables around us complaining about the long wait for their food. It seemed like the kitchen was a bit inefficient. After waiting for another 15-20 minutes, our food finally arrived. I was amazed by the quality of the dishes. As a vegetarian, I ordered a bowl of thin rice noodles with veggies and tofu, while my mom ordered egg and rice noodles with a combination of meat and veggies. We both loved the clean and flavorful broth, which wasn't too oily or salty. In addition to the noodle soup, we also ordered Chinese donuts. Overall, it was a fantastic bowl of noodle soup, and I would love to come back and try their other dishes. Hopefully, they will find a more efficient way to run their kitchen next time, or I might have to order takeout to avoid the long wait.
It's a great noodle shop if you're craving something late night. I got the dry egg noodles with roasted duck. The aroma the bowl gave off was a classic, garlicy smell. There was a savory sauce on the noodles that really tied the whole dish together. Their wontons are solid too. Pretty flavorful with no complaints. The bao buns were shockingly excellent. I sweet and savory in all the right spots. Service was normal. Nothing to really say about it. Overall, solid place that serves homey, familiar food.
So so to me...It is not necessary to travel from afar just to try this restaurant, but to honor childhood memories, trying a bowl of noodles here at least once when you have the chance is worthwhile. Compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, the service here is better.
This place was so crowded when they first opened. It’s way better now. No wait. Service was great. I like the noodle cart at the entrance. It gave me the Saigon Chợ Lớn vibes. Food was okay. We had dry egg noodle and wonton. They put too much noodle with so little sauce, wonton was small and mushy, soup was not quite there yet. Mì vịt tiềm was imbalances, overpower with herbal medicine taste. There were many old people in 70s-80s in the shop around lunch time. I guess this place noodle was not for us, compared to other similar noodle places. Their bao were very good!!!

Good service and their dried noodle was good. We love their dried herbal duck noodle and combination noodle. Will come back if visiting socal next time.
Service needs A LOT of work. ** I know that they just opened, but this is my honest review on my experience there. ** It pains me to give them a bad rating because the people were actually very nice and friendly. We stopped by not knowing it was their grand opening, but it was made very clear with the terrible service. The wait to be seated was about 30 minutes. We didn’t mind considering the place was fairly small and the food seemed promising. They have a decent menu with a wide range of mì, bánh bao, and hủ tiếu options. Food was decent, but not good enough to make up for everything else. They were also giving each person a bánh bao which we got really excited about. Because people were getting really impatient while waiting to be seated, the workers were giving them their bánh baos while they waited — when they were supposed to serve it to them at the table. My family decided to just wait and have them serve it to us at our tables properly. We ordered an appetizer and 3 dishes: Mực Chiên Giòn, Hủ Tiếu Hải Sản, Mì Thập Cẩm (Nước), and Mì Thập Cẩm (Khô). We even confirmed with the waitress that took our order that we ordered 4 food items. 20 minutes after ordering, we still didn’t receive anything — no bánh baos, no drinks, no appetizer, and no utensils. People that were seated after us even received their items before us. I had to personally ask them to bring out our drinks. Then our appetizer and dishes came out shortly after. Only 2 dishes arrived though: the Hủ Tiếu Hải Sản and Mì Thập Cẩm (Khô). We thought that they were gonna bring the last one out right after and just waited. After 10 minutes, we realized that they had forgotten about our dish. We were gonna tell them, but realized that it wasn’t worth it. * Mực Chiên Giòn: 9/10 - super tasty but a very small portion * Hủ Tiếu Hải Sản: 6/10 - basic and lacked flavor * Mì Thập Cẩm (Khô): 7/10 - tasty noodles but soup didn’t have a rich broth After we were done with our meal, we thought we should at least get our free bánh baos only to discover that they RAN OUT. This made me really upset because we all know they ran out because they gave them all away to the people waiting to be seated instead of their ACTUAL PAYING CUSTOMERS. What’s most upsetting is that the people who got bánh baos while waiting actually ending up leaving due to the long wait. What a joke. All that aside, the restaurant itself was very nice and they have a decent amount of tables. My parents really enjoyed the Vietnamese food cart that they have for decoration. It brought back nostalgic memories of selling food back in Vietnam for them. ♥️ TIPS FOR IMPROVEMENT: * More efficient serving system * Prioritize paying customers over potential customers Since it’s located in a popular Little Saigon plaza, parking can be quite difficult. Even though we had an awful experience, we hope they can improve in the future. I wish them great success and am open to come back another time!
