Everything here is so good — definitely an OG dim sum spot! 🥢 The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent every time I visit. You can tell they’ve been doing this for years and really know what they’re doing. The only downside is the wait times can get pretty long, especially on weekends, but honestly, it’s worth it. If you don’t feel like waiting, you can always order through DoorDash and enjoy their dim sum from home — it’s just as delicious! You can also check in on Yelp to get an idea of the wait before you go. Can’t wait to come back again soon!
My first time here, and will definitely be coming back. This is one of the best seafood dinners I have had in a long time. Dishes are very fresh and cooked to perfection. They season all the dishes very well. The service here is extremely good. They are friendly, attentive, and very helpful with recommendations. The place is very clean. Excellent!!
I’ve been here many times, and the beef tripe is my absolute favorite! The other dim sum dishes are also great. There’s a wide variety to choose from, and the dim sum is filling and well prepared. After eating here, I don’t feel like going to any other dim sum restaurant. Highly recommended!
Orange County Southern Baptist Association of Churches Christmas Party. Ten course meal among friends and family. We had the entire restaurant. The staff and food were outstanding. Highly recommend... The restaurant is on the second floor. There is an elevator if needed. Don't let the 20 minute parking space markings bother you. The times are not strictly enforced. I spoke with a security officer. He said simply not to park long term in the 15 minute loading spots. There are too many cars for them to enforce times... Have a great meal and a fun time...
If you are not use to dim sum places then warning it can get loud. Aside from that food was so yummy. It was my first time here and everything we ordered was so freshly and delicious. Our servers were all so considerate and on top of it.
If one likes to eat in a restaurant that is really good, do expect a long line. I mean long long wait time. BUT the food and fast service is worth the wait. No wonder people patiently wait in line to savor the sumptuous meal.
They let you reserve a table but I think it's only after 3pm. From our several times eating here, it's best to get here before 11:30am Fri-Sun. We really like the Siu Mai, walnut shrimp, drunken noodles, suon ram, and chicken feet. The steam shrimp ball is only alright. Overall, the service is good here and prices are reasonable for a party of 8-10.
Honestly the best authentic Chinese food! The restaurant is so beautiful, clean and festive. Serving staff friendly and attentive. We had dim sum, house special lobster, sautéed pea sprouts. Everything is fresh and delicious. We ended the meal with freshly baked, crispy, flaky egg tarts and the most delicious egg custard buns. My tummy is so happy and so am I! Definitely will come back to try more yummy food.
This place is amazing! Went there for my son's birthday not knowing a thing about dim sum but it was a quick learning experience. It was fun and delicious and we had a great time! I wish it was closer to me but I will try to go back. The whole shopping center was a cool experience.
Hi I had a great experience today as I always do too when I dine @ Seafood Cove 2 , I go for their dim sum with hot tea & iced water to drink , everything is always delicious, great service, great atmosphere , I only come here once a year for Chinese dim sum for breakfast as a tradition I’ve started for myself 3 years ago. Definitely 100% going to keep going back for life too.
Wow! Where can I start from? Welcoming atmosphere or the sweetest people specially janet! She is sweet loving caring and very kind! She even took us to the side so we can see what they offer which was very exciting Thank you janet for being the sweetest and most welcoming for our first time visit.
Great place to eat. The service was incredible and our waitress was amazing. Unfortunately they do not serve dim sum at night and that's pretty much the reason why I wanted to go there but still stayed for the dinner and it was worth it. The ribs were great. The Thai shrimp curry was also great (messy with head on but worth it) I will definitely be back to try the dim sum from 8:30-3pm

Seafood Cove is an amazing place for delicious food and outstanding service! The staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The service was fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Not only our server, but every staff member was kind and attentive, checking on our orders and takeouts to ensure everything came out perfectly. Even my picky husband loves this place because they don’t charge for tea or chili. It’s rare to find service this warm and efficient.
Definitely will reorder via Uber Eats/ visit and dine in. Enjoyed their menu selections on a recent Uber Eats order. My recent experience she had really quick service in comparison to other uber eats drivers. It definitely affects the dining experience when the entrees are delivered and they’re very hot still. My favorite selection was the sizzling rice soup. So delicious!! Giant pieces of shrimp too. Their dimsum is just as expected- nothing exceptional just yet but I’m hoping to try more of their menu soon. I tried their baked bao with bbq pork (a delicious sweet glaze exterior) The Lo Mein is a very generous portion and delicious- I added some of my own flavors with pepper and chili oil The pork pan fried dumplings I could pass on the next visit. Uber eats order came to $92 after the fees ($11), tip and the restaurant bill $59.
Dim sum heaven. This restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember. My family and I dine here for occasions. Parking: I hate this parking lot with a passion. It is always busy, and finding a spot is difficult. Good luck! Ambiance/Environment: The restaurant is located on the second floor, so you'll have to take the stairs or elevators. They have a large space with round tables and chairs. Perfect for large groups. It can get extremely busy on the weekends. Often parties and wedding receptions are held here. Service: A host at the podium greeted us. Since there was no wait time, the host escorted us to a table immediately. Service has definitely improved over the years. The servers are more attentive and constantly checked on us. There are carts filled with dim sum in the mornings. The servers go around to each table with the carts and ask if you'd like anything. They stamp your card after if you chose something from the cart. Since we visited on a weekday and it wasn't busy, the carts weren't going around. We just ordered dim sum from the menu. Food & drinks: Remember, dim sum is only served in the mornings while dinner is an ALC menu filled with delicious Chinese food. I love their dim sum items. Everything is steamed, fried, and cooked to perfection. Our favorites are the har gow, siu mai, steamed buns, soup dumplings, chicken feet, shrimp balls, shrimp noodle rolls, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, and sesame balls. Just to name a few lol. These portions are small dishes that can be shared. Our favorites from the dinner menu is the fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, lobster, snow pea, kung pao chicken, and orange chicken. These are large portions shared between everyone at the table. Pricing: I don't say this often, but this is absolutely worth every dollar amount!

Seafood Cove 2 offers a wide variety of dishes. However, the Chinese donuts were a bit old and not fresh, and the pot stickers were quite tough. Despite that, the overall flavors were good, and the dining experience was enjoyable.
Great spot for fried lobster and crab and shrimp. it's in a mall that feels a bit run down and could use a little surface renovation. The service was good. The food was the real winner. Fried lobster was excellent. Fried shrimp was also great. We're a family of 4 and had plenty leftover to take home.
The dim sum ladies are very cute, friendly and service oriented. They tried to recommend everything they have off the menu. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Dim sum average to below average. It didn't seem fresh. We also ordered the roasted duck platter. Good deal but didn't taste good.
Ongoing quest for good dim sum brought me here on a super busy Saturday morning. I was hoping for excellent food but found most of the offerings underwhelming, plus some sticker shock at the end of the meal. Did not expect to pay close to $200 for what is essentially street food elsewhere in the world. Spacious area on second floor, elevator service available. Those elevators have seen better days: peeling floors and metal grinding sounds. Orders came out fast, maybe a tad too fast because I felt like the steam on the buns was undercooked so the bread was extra unpleasant mouth feel, same as the custard tarts which I usually can eat three in one sitting - did not even finish the one tart I got. We got sauteed pea shoots which was just fine, altho a bit oily. The shrimp with walnuts here is thickly battered and covered in an orange sweet sauce type. Something not available elsewhere is the almond milk tea that comes covered in a puff pastry. It wasn't anything special: the warm almond milk was just very MEH. As with many things nowadays, rice and tea are now charged rather than complementary. Service is quick, water refills frequently done and also someone came to check that things were in order several times. Overall I would give the food a decent 5/10 rating but not worth my almost 40 minute drive. Not a fan of the super busy plaza and difficult parking, granted it was peak lunch hour.
Came here early for dim sum and no wait at 9am. Food carts came around fast but most of the food are pretty dried and cold . Not as fresh and of great quality . Only items stood out are the beer tripe and the chicken feet.
Service, menu selection, atmosphere are all outstanding. They have all of the dishes available for dim sum and many of the higher end dishes for dinner. Fried flounder, whole chicken, salt and pepper lobster. We enjoyed the variety available and got to try new dishes that we traditionally don’t see at our primary dim sum restaurants. However, every dish was a little under seasoned for our taste.

SERVICE was absolutely trash. I'm sorry, but it was by far thee worst. I noticed anyone who didnt "look rich" were getting the worst services. Including ourselves • Didnt ask what we would like to drink. • Never came and checked up on us or anyone. • Couldn't even bring us water and they couldnt even refill our water. • Wouldn't even serve us beer or soda. Simply ignored us several times. Especially when my kids asked. Not one person brought anything back. Oh but when asked for water, they listened? hmmms... All the fancy, rich looking folks were getting top tier services. All the waiters and staff were out helping them. Refilled water when they see it empty. Even went out of their way to give them more ice, clean silverware, glass cups. They gave some of us paper cups 🤷🏽♂️ and blue plastic cups. One cup they brought had a piece of cilantro in it.
