This place was so good. Started off with an order of fried pickles (huge portion) got the catfish basket, kid’s cheeseburger, quesadilla meal and regular bacon cheeseburger. All was quite exceptional. The atmosphere was great, the server was great. Highly recommend.

Went back due to the managers response to a 3star. Although we got the newest server on a very busy afternoon, she nailed it. The manager noticed. We'll be back!

A stop on my way for business and a good stop at that. The catfish didn't have too much breading and the batter was delicious! Wish it had more than two hushpuppies cause those were very tasty as well. The catfish was also plump and meaty. The sides were okay, but its all good so as not to take away from the deliciousness of the main course.

Prices are extremely reasonable ~ large portions!! Our appetizer "The Trio" was the bomb & would go back if ever in the area just for that , it definitely could be a shared as a meal all in itself.... It was NorthSide nachos, sampling of chicken dillas, & their famous gimongous fried cheese sticks. Hubs had CFS ,potatoes & house salad ~ I will say he was a Lil disappointed in the CFS after it being hyped as the best in the area but enjoyed & finished it all the same lol. I had the "Ultimate" a chili cheese dog with onion & jalapeños on top a bed of queso / chili french fries!! ( don't tell my cardiologist) But YUM!!

The service was good, it's almost like a sports bar. There was enough flatscreens around for everyone to watch the football game. There are 2 sides of the restaurant-tables w/chairs and 2nd side- booths w/ some tables w/chairs. The waiter was pleasant and explaining everything to us. One thing I say it is kind of a pricey restaurant but the food is good.

Went here yesterday for lunch after work with friends. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted with smiles and the sweet and savory smell of BBQ! We decided to sit in the bar area and I took advantage of their $2.75 drink special. I was expecting the drink to be super small and weak, but it was the opposite. My vodka tonic was 12 oz., strong, and delicious. Since I wasnt driving I had two. We flipped through their menu and I decided to get their chicken wings and a side of their chili. One of my friends got their all beef chili dog with fries and my other friend got their bbq chicken sandwich. My chili was delicious and super hearty and not too salty. The wings left a little bit to be desired as they were not super flavorful, but they were big and I loved that they gave me both ranch and blue cheese. I definitely would come back and get more of their chili! I loved the entire vibe of the restaurant. The music was jammin and there were tons of tvs for watching sports and news. If I wasn't so tired from having to be at work at 4am I would've stayed longer.

From the reviews, I had my hopes up I initially. Pictures and menu looked nice, and then we arrived, AC was blasting and fans were all on. It’s 70 outside. Oh well. Everyone was friendly enough, but our initial hostess was fairly dismissive and didn’t offer us kids menu. No biggie. Our waitress was kind enough, took our order. Didn’t we didn’t get to check on for 15 minutes. Party’s continued to come in. When we were finally check on, we were told fryers had been down and our food was cold now and needed to be remade, and our daughter’s food was just now going down. My duaghter is a T1D. We dose her before meals. I said “no thanks” and got up for us to leave. Waitress said I needed to pay for our drinks. Whatever. Took a few more minutes for them to cash me out. Not wasting my time or money here again. Hope your mileage varies!

Nice place with lots of TVs all around. It's more like a sports bar. The service is friendly but slow. Our server seemed to forget about us for a while. The food is not what I expected going in. Weird burger menu with a hot dog, a couple of wraps, some sandwiches, salads and then Mexican food. No chicken fried steak or chicken. More sports bar type foods. I settled for the common cheese burger and fried okra. The okra was good, the sweet tea was excellent but the burger was terrible. Mostly no flavor at all and way overcooked. The meat was tasteless and as dry as boot leather. I wanted to love this place but just didn't. A $30 lunch ticket should be at least good. I can't say I'll ever go back for a second chance. By the way, the online menu has more items listed than the actual menu does. I guess new owner decided to cut down the bulk.

We came in and were ignored. Finally put in our drink order, then food and appetizer order. Meal and appetizer arrived at the same time. Both were cold. Never got our drinks and asked they be taken off our check. Was told by our waitress oh, they’ve been sitting over there for a while. They tried to bring us those drinks as we were leaving. I used to love eating here and hadn’t been in several months. Not as good as I remembered.

I usually do not leave a review unless it is something super special or if I would like for people to be aware of something. This time unfortunately nothing special happened except a shift Manger of the restaurant asked me to leave the dog outside or for me to leave with the dog, but the dog has to leave. Initially, the manager asked to place the dog under the table, then on the sit and finally she asked us to leave. Well, nothing person against the manager, but it is a summer time in Texas with a heat over 90F outside. The manager suggested for me to sit on a patio... a patio is an area of few metal tables located- by the trash can!!! And just sono one will say Health Department - there is no sign not allowing dogs on premisses. Moreover, the same manager said, if that would have been a service dog - then the dog can stay!!! And magically there will be no Health Department issue there! Hypocrisy, but who am i to say, i am just a dog owner. That is all I have to say about this place.
