At our latest visit, this was a step up from their past, and sandwiches were much better than before, with fresher veggies and smiles behind the counter. Great step in the right direction! Still too much $$$$ for sandwich!

So I am giving this Subway a 5 star review for the last time I visited there. I believe it was May 14th. I went to grab some food with my 2 kiddos. There were 3 guys working behind the counter. The first one was low key and as nice as could be. My 4 year old asked him about 35 questions about the cheese on the kids pizza. The guy answered them as if my kiddos requests and inquiry were any other customer walking in the door. The next guy was funny and charismatic and we had a few laughs while he garnished the toppings for my sub. The last guy, the cashier was friendly and vocal, quick with a smile. We even ended up sitting there to eat, which wasn't even the original plan. I think there have been issues finding employees at this location. I have been there many times and this was by far the nicest most helpful group of sandwich artists yet!

We went in for lunch today and were not disappointed! Hands down the best service we have ever had. The employees there were extremely welcoming and I can honestly say that is the fastest we’ve ever gotten through a line at any subway. They really know what they are doing! We will definitely be back.

Went in a couple times this week and they had been lacking on the stocking of everything but the other night I went in with my family and the ladies working were awesome. My daughter was so happy that she called one of the girls from the back and told her thank you as she had enjoyed her creation then preceded to hug her. My 11 year old knows how to win ppl over but that night they had won us.

One of the few Fast Food options in Wimberley. I recommend trying to order through the app or online. They are consistently busy and I'm sure it helps them if everyone would just order online. The employees are very nice and try as best as possible to take care of everything needed even though they consistently get overrun with customers. This location has also recently gone through renovations and looks much better than previously. Give it a try!

Typically dont go to this subway often as staff is always changing, some times great service, sometimes horrible, today my sandwich artists were Sy and Tabitha. Those two together are awesome, had great kind friendly service, and to make things even better the food they prepared was awesome!!! Keep up the spectacular work.

The lady that helped us was awesome. Taking care of 3 customers at once, greeting everyone and letting them know they will be helped. However, whoever Gilbert is in the back was, for lack of a better word, useless. The lady helping us had to call him to help a customer that was waiting for a long time, and after her asking twice to come assist, he said "I don't know where my mask is", to which she promptly told him where spare masks are. 2 things wrong with this. 1, he's obviously well practiced in excuse making, and more importantly 2, he's not wearing a mask while doing food prep. I'm really writing this review because I know there's plenty of people that have lost their job due to this pandemic that would take working there far more seriously, so please consider finding someone a little more compatible with the awesome person that was helping us. Mind you, I don't know at all what Gilbert looks like, because he never stepped out to help the whole time we were there. (Sorry I didn't get her name, but I only know Gilbert's name because of his inability to be of any help, whatsoever)

The best experience I’ve EVER had at subway. Jordan the night time manager is the best, seriously made it a customized sandwich experience. He gives awesome suggestions and makes it so delicious! 10/10 would recommend

The more current staff is working out great. They keep the place clean and always know exactly what my kid is going to order. At no fault to them the ice machine is a battle or the big frig goes out but with those headaches the staff keeps going the best they can. I will eat here at least once a week.

It’s nice, clean, and the food was great; however, I feel as if the guy with the brown hair, black Vans cap backwards, tattoos, working around 12:00 today, was pretty rude to his employees. His attitude was very “blah” and he exhibited an unfriendly type of attitude. He became agitated with another employee when “the ranch dressing wasn’t in its usual spot” ... he told him to make sure that he put it in the right spot the next time. It was obvious that the other employees were affected by his negative attitude. I’m not trying to get the guy fired, for all I know he may have had a bad day; however, I felt pretty bad leaving the place and not speaking up about it ... so here I am, writing a review. I just want to thank the other two people working there for remaining professional. They get 5 stars. People should enjoy their working environment, as well as the relationships with their coworkers. Strive to build a positive organizational culture or there will be turnover !

I used to avoid this place like the plague because of the poor quality food and bad service. I’m not sure what changed, but I decided to go there 9 months ago and had a good experience. There were three very friendly people working, and the food was better than I expected. Fast forward 9 months and I’m editing my review. The place has gone downhill again. Constant staff turnover and poor quality food. It’s off my list until they get their act together again.

Lonnie review. Went there today to get sandwhiches. When we were in line people in front of us were ordering food the assistant mgr was very rude to the three gentleman in front of us It was very disrespectful period people were looking around We walked out we will not go to that subway again just saying be nice to customers no call for that

Most of the time I go to this location is during the day, but was disappointed and distraught that when I had arrived around 9:48 pm. The whole line was picked up, and the toaster off. You guys do not close till 10 pm. I don't mind if you pick up the line as it was, but dont turn off the toaster machine so I cant toast my sub. I had to decide to eat a cold sandwich or go home and heat it myself. Which I went home. Just is irritating when I just got off work, stayed an extra 40 minutes, meanwhile the young 20 year olds are so impatient to leave that I cant even get my simple sandwhich made how I wanted. Not only that, but to drive another 20 minutes home to Fischer to warm up my sandwich that I was planning to eat then when I got off of work, before heading home. Just irritating they were so ahead of themselves that they couldn't properly serve the last few customers who could possibly come through the door like me. Not only that, but I used to work at Subway for a year and a half in Colorado so I know for a fact that toaster should've been the last thing to be turned off before clocking out, turning off lights, and locking up.

I’m convinced this is the slowest subway on the planet. Be prepared to be here 10 times longer than you expected even if there’s only 2 people in front of you. Nothings ever ready. Disappearing to cut or refill things constantly or just out of most things when there is only one person here. Two if you’re lucky. Someone fix this. Thanks. Edit: employee is so nice and left here all alone with 15 people in line. 15 people!! Labor issues? Whoever owns this franchise should be ashamed. Your customers are pissed and your employees are miserable. Do you not like money? It’s slammed and people are leaving because they can’t wait this long.

My experience was horrible! While inside I had 2 ft longs and a 6 inch being made the 6 inch was great. When it came to the first ft long the kid ended up throwing half of the stuff on the sandwich on the floor and counter then began to try and pick up what was on the counter and put it back on the sandwich. The second sandwich was a steak club and they put no cheese and no bacon. Needless to say they were called just to see if they'd correct the sandwich and began yelling at me over the phone calling me a liar and saying there absolutely sure the sandwich was made correctly. They food was supposed to be toasted but instead was still soft, cold and almost soggy. HIGHLY do NOT reccomend this subway.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Asst manager was VERY RUDE, to multiple people and accusing them of things that they had not done. He was extremely loud, and all the customers that were in there were in complete disbelief as was I. Never going back. No one deserves to get treated the way he treated those people.

We were about to order for a big gathering until we noticed the hours of operation. 10-4 Monday thru Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday. What? What subway does that? This one I guess! Most ridiculous schedule I have ever seen for a fast food restaurant. You have to be open to make money. Might as well just close down!

Sadly they dont maintain a good inventory of their produce. How can you run a food service if you dont carry the essentials like lettuce! Never have menu items like meatballs. Dont know if it's employee laziness or poor management.

It has been over a year since I ordered food here. After the last time I swore I would not eat there again. I figured I would give them another try. Service was Ok, place not real organized or clean. The veggies, meat and cheese were ok but the bread was stale and so hard that I only ate the insides and threw the bread away. Plus I had ordered whole wheat and it was white. I am done with Subway in Wimberley.

Please just go out of business already. Today’s experience was no wheat bread, no tea was made today, no ice and bread was sitting on top of the counter for customers to cough on while getting their sandwich made. God knows what other corners you are cutting with proper food prep and storage.

The place is dirty, always out of tea, cookies and the veggies trays were empty. These has happened to me the last 3 visits. Terrible employees. I always remind them there out of tea and they always have an excuse instead of them waiting on me. Sad thing I was the only customer !

Used to love this place. Always great service but now, every order is wrong. We order toasted, it's cold. We order double ingredients and there's barely even one serving on there. We have had to drive 30 minutes (hour trip) to go back for them to remake sandwiches several times and now we're done. No more. This place needs to train their staff and have a manager that knows what they're doing. One minute they know how to refund to a credit card, the next they have no clue how the system works and now they say they can't refund unless it's cash and we have to drive back in. Btw, their website states no refunds in cash unless required by law. I can't believe this place has gone so much downhill but don't order from them because EVERY TIME your order will be wrong. Also, not sure who the "local guides" are that are giving this play a 5 star review but those are usually paid when a place has really bad reviews. FYI

There was improvement when they brought in a district manager to help rebuild the staff, but as soon as she left, it went back to horrible. Constantly out of multiple items and with the exception of the older lady that works there, the service isn't good at all. They don't wear hair nets or hats. Is there ever a manager on duty? Does subway even care about this location?

Noah made me wait 15 minutes because, as he rudely stated, it was 4:30 pm. Counted all his register coins and without washing his hands he came over to make my sandwich by saying "talk to me". The windows are so nasty you can barely see out. The place hasn't been cleaned in at least a few years. Seriously a nasty place.

Went to Subway as last ditch option for dinner without going to restaurant. Service left a lot to be desired and quality was less than mediocre which is normal for Subway these days. But what really upset me was the tip I was charged without asking. Done with Subway wherever they are located.

We stopped in for a sandwich before a game. There were three young men behind the counter. Our sandwich maker spoke in a very low tone, as if embarrassed to speak, never made eye contact. The next young man was the vegetable guy, he over loaded our sandwiches with our veggie selection, and the third guy, the cashier, was not very helpful when the other two asked questions. I gave them one star for cleanliness. Otherwise think twice about stopping there for a meal.

Workers are lazy and slow!!! They said they are out of ranch for the day because the bottles were empty. Said they didn’t have the tools to cut the meat on the protein bowl! Omg! I told them to use a knife! Then they just made large cuts :(. It was a very sad and frustrating experience! The price was almost double of what we pay at other Subways also! If my kids weren’t so hungry I would hav walked out! It took 50 minutes to get 2 foot Kong’s and two protein bowls! I would give them zero stars if I could!

Without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had at a Subway. I ordered a Turkey, bacon, and guacamole wrap. It was made without any care whatsoever. Sandwich artist turned sandwich assassin. 4 pieces of turkey, roughly 15 shreds of cheese, and a satisfactory amount of guacamole. They must have had this in abundance because the "sandwich artist" even gave me a little more on the paper wrapping. And finally, no receipt even after asking for one.

Went into the shop and the individual behind the counter was rude. No bread and was just rude. Whomever owns the place needs to fire that person or just close their shop seeing they have no clue about customer service and how to run a business. Oh, as for that person telling me how he was a Dasher in the past, well I can see why you no longer do it for a living.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY! No flatbread. STALE white bread. Deli counter was gross almost afraid to eat. The container of tomatoes was near empty so he reached for new one in fridge and put it on top of the empty one. GROSS. Only one employee. Had some HS kid in dining area put out more cups for him. The white prep board were so nasty around the edges. JUST YUCK. Didn't even smell like a fresh Subway. Won't be back.

UPDATE 1 year later. I ordered 4 sandwiches online. Ordered at 104PM. Says to be at the restaurant by 125PM. We arrived at 138PM. Still no sandwiches. It is now 155PM. A full 30 minutes later than they said it would be ready....and guess what? Not ready yet. Its OVER 1 HOUR FOR 4 SANDWICHES. 3 months later and my rating doesn't change. Extremely common for this store to not have bread at noon. Or for that matter, week after week my crew wants to eat there, and they can't keep lettuce or meat or cheese. The staff limits how many leaves of spinach becauae they don't have enough to serve everyone. I dont know what's going on over there. Either the staff is lazy, can't order the proper amount of food needed, or they're just trying to make a few extra bucks at every turn. How ever you want to slice it.....this subway is in desperate need of attention. We, my family and my company, have all wanted Subway sandwiches here in wimberley....but we won't be going back. It's always a disappointment. So very unfortunate. It just doesn't have to be this way.
