This is my favorite place in all the entire world to eat at. I like beans. I like guacamole. I like the prices. Chipotle everywhere I go are good. I will eat at Chipotle any chance I am out and I can convince the people I'm with to eat there.

This Chipotle is the best!! No way I could finish off this dish. Puts to shame the Chipotle in the north of Winchester VA. The guy who served my wife and I was tooooo positive and made the evening for us. You already have a customer for life but I just wanted everyone to know it. Great place.

Great experience for our family of 4. We got 3 bowls & 1 burrito. All had great portions of toppings. The food was fresh and delicious! We ate inside for lunch between 3-3:30 and we had great service.

Ah, Chipotle. My culinary comfort zone, my edible Groundhog Day. Every visit, the same ritual unfolds: "Steak bowl, white rice, corn, sour cream, guac (because it's basically the law, right?), cheese, green peppers, onions and lettuce." Yes, I'm boring. In food, at least. The baffling mystery, however, lies in the fire. Where does it come from? Some days, my bowl is a symphony of mild, meaty perfection. A gentle hum of flavor, a tender dance on the palate. Other days, I swear a dragon's intern is working in the back, just chortling as they indiscriminately dump what feels like an entire ghost pepper farm into my otherwise innocent-looking meal. One minute I'm enjoying a pleasant Tuesday meal, the next I'm convinced my taste buds have spontaneously combusted. Despite this culinary roulette, I keep coming back. Like a moth to a very spicy, occasionally perfect, flame. Maybe it's the thrill of the unknown, or maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment. Either way, Chipotle, you've got me hooked – even if some days I need a fire extinguisher more than a fork.

Used to be a great place for a quick bite to eat. In the last year or so, it has not. Quality of food has dropped and so has the friendly service. Not sure if it a management change or what but I won't be back for a while to either Winchester location.

Food portions are usually good here, but half the time when I order on the mobile app and set a specific time to pick up its not ready. I get there and it's never on the shelf, you always have to ask them for it. Not to mention I've waited 5-10min past my pickup time for them to make mine. Because they hadn't even started till I got there and asked. If it wasn't for them not having orders ready when requested in the app I'd give more stars.

I’m trying to build my teen daughter’s confidence and independence by having her order food in establishments themselves. So tonight, chipotle was NOT a good experience. The servers rushed through the order even though it was not busy, and just assumed my daughters bf was getting the same thing as her and kept going even though my daughter tried to communicate that he didn’t want rice as he is autistic and has special food needs. It was an uncomfortable experience for them and now my daughter’s bf cannot eat the food we paid for as he is unable to eat rice. The lack of attention and concern of the staff for customers is very disappointing. We may have to switch to another one of the local chipotles as I prefer not to reward establishments who either cannot hire good staff or cannot train staff appropriately to pay attention to customers needs.

To start this review off, I’d like to say that I’ve never had to make a bad review in my life about any establishment. But after my experience this evening, I feel like I just had to. I was hoping to just happily grab something to eat with my partner before we went home, so I headed to Chipotle of course. It had started off iffy as soon as we stepped into the line though, because I watched and listened to one of the employees correct someone about calling a burrito a wrap. She was literally speaking to him like a toddler, sounding “burrito” out slowly so he could understand I guess. Although, at the time, it didn’t throw me off like crazy or anything. But that’s besides the point. I start ordering for me and my partner by asking for two bowls. BUT. Before I could even get a word in she adds white rice to both the bowls. Okay. My bf doesn’t like rice. So I just look at him, sigh, and continue. This time I ask for just what I want on my bowl. But she adds it to both. I’m getting disappointed at this point. Sigh. Okay. Move onto the next station with another worker. I tell her what I want EXACTLY, explaining that my bf would order what HE wanted on HIS bowl before any confusion. I have to tell her this at least 3 different times though before she finally hears me. Mind you, it is less busy than it usually is in here, so I was just surprised she couldn’t hear me great. I literally had to raise my voice so she could hear me. But whatever. Eventually, we get to the end and I just tell the cashier no chips no drink no ANYTHING but the base food because I wanted to leave so badly. And I have social anxiety, so I suppose my stress was warranted. Me and my boyfriend also both have autism, so his food needs not being met was heavily upsetting. You get my point. In the end, I’m honestly pretty disappointed. I think I still will probably end up buying food from here, but this experience just really threw me off.

Food is fresh and served hot. Only thing is you should know the deals going on because the cashier will charge full and not inform you that there is a deal going on. When you tell them there is the BOGO deal going on for thanksgiving they will say ok and adjust the check. Thats sneaky.

Average. Always come in for a 3P but every single one I go to always tries charging full price for a plain rice/chicken bowl. Plus it's way overpriced as is even at the 3p price. Main reason I rarely ever go to Chipotle anymore is that the prices used to be reasonable, but are no longer. I just wish that on the occasions I do stop by, they wouldn't try to pass me off for an extra dollar.

They gave us the old stale rice at the bottom of the container instead of the fresh rice. Some of the rice was hard and some was chewy and clumped together. Found a whole bay leaf in my rice as well. They also said they had no fajita veggies but made no offer to make more if we wanted to wait. We asked for a cup of guac on the side, but they put the smallest bit in and shook it up to make it look full. Waste of money for bad food and poor customer service.

Today at 9:11 pm I went to get a chicken salad I almost never leave negative messages, but this is the third time they've made a mistake with my order. I placed my order, and the cashier handed my food to another customer standing right in front of me. The employees here are always distracted and play games. They don't provide good service to customers and don't speak well of the restaurant.the manager need to check about this matter.

I hesitated even going here after readingology reviews for the Chipotle near me. I'm from Luray however was in Winchester for an appointment and it was my husband's birthday and he had been craving and begging for Chipotle for months now since I got him a gift card for Christmas. After picking the best Chipotle from the reviews here's my own: First things first, $50 for 2 bowls & 2 drinks? Now, don't get it twisted, if it was worth it like it's advertised & how highly my husband spoke of the establishment all together (not this specific location) then the price would fit the bill. IF the food was fresh as advertised, it would have been worth it because I don't know what was going on at this place but when my husband scraped gacuomole off his bowl because of the awful taste (I tried it, disgusting) that's a serious red flag. IF the service was friendly, didnt cop an attitude for a first time customer that had questions you know, the usual ones pertaining to what the ingredients in front of me are, that made me second guess even eating there because I didn't have time for food poisoning, then $50 for 2 bowls, 2 drinks, would have been worth it. NOW! The cleanliness?? When ordering, our side of the glass was clean. The drink/lid/silverware/napkin area was clean. The countertops with the bar stool seating looked clean, we sat at a booth, so I didn't investigate that seating area. Our booth was clean, table as well as seating. However, I watched two different sets of customers come and go, new customers seated themselves without their area being cleaned, at the least whip out a wet nap and wipe the table down. The restaurant wasn't busy, so please save that excuse, even if that was the case, I know they have at least one busboy/girl there, when really, besides the "chefs" should be trained & able to do that simple task before another set of customers come sit in the same place the last customers sat with their cooties & all. 🤷🏽‍♀️ However, it was quiet & a place to go if you wanted conversation with your meal. It wasn't too loud with employees yelling for things or loud music playing like in other establishments, so I'll give it a good star review on atmosphere. SOOOOO very disappointed in the fact my husband waited so long to go to Chipotle just for the food to not even be worth taking home with us. But as far as being disappointed in the establishment, it's hands down that the freshness of the food they guarantee was missing the fresh part. I can also understand the temperments of employees when they're are overworked, understaffed, overwhelmed especially when they're busy however they were not busy and when we arrived and while we were there dining in, maybe we have missed the 3PM rush but do better putting associates on the front lines that have patience & a smile. All the Chipotle's in this area have horrible reviews and ratings, I chose the one with the highest & better reviews.

Ordered the chicken bowl to go. The same amount. Was told that I would have to pay extra money which on previous occasions I was not charged extra . I am a regular customer but will no longer be. A better form of communication needs to be established between the customer and the folks serving as to the amount of food that I can receive without paying extra for it.

Is there a reason we get so much attitude when simply asking for extra sour cream? The regular serving size of sour cream they try to give is barely half a spoon. I don't load up my order with every available item, so an actual spoonful of sour cream shouldn't get us glared at. We've been coming to this location for years, but I'm done. No more.

Please avoid ts at all costs, got food poisoning , the workers were funny but doesn’t change the fact that I’m dying. There was trash everywhere and my food tasted weird. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but got betrayed.. 💔

One of the worst Chipotle experiences we’ve had. Dining area was filthy—dirty tables, food-covered floors, and a very messy food line. Soda machine was out of drinks, food trays were nearly empty, and the prep area looked unsanitary. Our order was made incorrectly, and when we pointed it out, the employee became visibly upset and acted like it was our fault. The remake had noticeably less meat and felt rushed and unprofessional. This isn’t the first issue at this location. We’ve had undercooked rice before, and this visit was during a school spirit night, which made it even more disappointing. Serious concerns about cleanliness, food quality, and customer service.

Absolutely blows my mind when you order online my bowl is half empty. Even when I opt in for extra rice AND pay for extra meat. It’s incredibly frustrating. Chiplote is one of guilty pleasures, but with the terrible customer service I receive each time… it’s time to breakup.

Edit: 1 star. This chipotle has somehow gotten worse and honestly has turned me off completely. Service is extremely poor and terrible customer service. Food is mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and either go to a different chipotle or make yourself your own food. Not worth it —————————————————————————— Food is hit or miss, sometimes good, more often less satisfying. The service is terrible. I always have issues when paying. I swear the one employee doesn’t listen and just hears what he wants to hear and rings up whatever. Hard shells being wrapped in foil are constantly broken and once he tried to still charge me after I said I didn’t want the broken shells. Just disappointing with chipotle

I've never been to a Chipotle where couldn't get cheese and sour cream on the side and had to pay extra for it. I already paid extra for a tortilla and hard shell tacos. Staff going back and forth with me. I wasted my money sadly.

Absolutely nasty. I go barbacoa (a shredded meat) and was served a giant lump of cold meat that was mostly fat. Aside from the that the rice was clumped together, cold, and not cooked completely. Really disappointing

I recently placed a delivery order for my family of four from the Chipotle located in Winchester. The confirmation email was correct, complete with the items each of us placed in the order. However, the actual delivery was incorrect; the receipt on the bag, though it listed my first name and last initial correctly, was otherwise incorrect with the actual food order printed (and delivered) itself, and significantly less food than paid for. There was no way to contact the store via phone (according to the recording on the number publicly listed, this is because they're too busy paying attention within the restaurant). The main corporate number listed for Chipotle just flat-out doesn't work, so I was left with the online chat to communicate the issue. After talking to a rep, I sent pictures requested that showed evidence of the issue at hand. The rep contacted the store and then informed me that they would not accept this fault or correct the issue, and actually expected us to bring in the incorrect order to be checked themselves. (Nevermind that I paid an outrageous cost for service and delivery fees, plus a tip to the driver, for a reason that evening.) So - after already being out of the planned dinner, the time already invested in communicating my issue appropriately, and money they refused to refund - they wanted me to also use more of my time and now fuel/money to show them that they made a mistake I wasn't even that upset about to begin with. I would've been happy with a replacement order or refund, and I would've walked away quietly without another thought of any of it. This, however, is absolutely disappointing and not how honest, once-repeat costumers should be treated. *EDIT TO ADD: The comment requesting that I visit the Contact Us page on the site does not provide resolution; this is the method that already lacked success the day of this taking place.

I don't like leaving 1 star reviews, I'd rather point out the positive and call out good work by employees! But in my last 2 visits here, there are ongoing problems: 1. Dirty restaurant and drink station, there's lots of trash and food on the floor 2. Delayed when ordered in advance (40 minutes after pickup time in the first visit, 10 minutes after in the second) 3. Missing items and inaccurate orders (during visit 1 they didn't put my chips or queso in the bag and didn't have any lemonade available, and visit 2 they were out of lemonade again and 3 soft drink flavors) 4. Poor quality and bad portions (stale chips, flat soda, poor temperature for the food, tiny amounts of salsa and fajita vegetables on the food, very few chips in a small handful) 5. Missing napkins, straws and drink lids (they have straws that don't fit the cups, and didn't have drink cups or lids for the 32oz drink I ordered) 6. Understaffed (one person working the line during the dinner rush) 7. Poor management (manager makes herself scarce and only shows up when there is a big slowdown to bark at employees, she comes across as unfriendly and unhelpful) I'd recommend steering clear, because it's a massive hassle to get a refund or help for your order in the app. This location needs new management.
