A message to Anna E. Hi, Anna E: I saw your bad comments from June 24th, in order to improve our customer service I called all the customers who came to our restaurant picked up orders around that time, I really like to find out what happen actually. But all customers said everything was good, nothing wrong, none of them left such a bad review from a user name “Anna E”. Then Checked all Uber, Doordash, Grubhub customers and delivery drivers names and photos, then we found you. Actually you were a Uber driver came to our restaurant picked up a delivery order for customer “Sarah N” at 9:10pm, as we know, at first you was trying to take the food bag without indicating the cashier lady, when the cashier lady asked you to wait a second for her to finish taking a walk-in customer order, you interrupted the conversation between the cashier lady and customer twice. Based on the facts, I don’t think the cashier lady was rude to you, we have first come first serve policy, and every minute on your delivery trip including you wait in restaurant for food preparing is fully paid by Uber company. I will file an incident report based on your actual behavior to clarify you were an Uber delivery driver not our regular customer.

Portions were great, the veggie selection and spice on the Szechuan chicken was incredible. Egg drop soup was great too. Delivery was fast and prices reasonable for the amount of food!

Just moved to the area and have ordered 3 times in the last month! Twice delivery and picked up tonight. All orders have been filled quickly and quality great. As a vegetarian sometimes it’s hard to find good quality and variety - tofu dishes are flavorful and tofu perfectly fried and not overly breaded. The General Tao’s Tofu is my go-to and husband loves the sesame chicken and steamed dumplings.

Lots of food came with order. Orange chicken was good. Egg rolls were a 7 out of 10. Chicken Fried rice was yummo.

This sashimi boat is priced around $18 and comes with soup and salad. Everything was tasty and wonderful. The sashimi was delicious, fresh, and plated and displayed very nice. If you love sashimi and want a good deal, try this out! Not pictured is the egg drop soup I also got. It was $3.95 for this big container. The soup is very comforting and warm.

This is a really great to-go Chinese restaurant. I am from the New York area, and this is as good as the Chinese food you get there. I would definitely recommend it for to-go chinese food!.

ordered through the Uber Eats app. First and foremost, I was thrilled with the speedy delivery. The food arrived at my doorstep much quicker than anticipated, which definitely added to the convenience factor. As I opened the package, I was met with the wonderful aroma of the Roast Pork with Vegetables. The dish was piping hot, as if it had just come straight out of the kitchen. When it comes to serving size, Summer Palace Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. The portion was incredibly generous, leaving me with plenty of leftovers for later enjoyment. It's always a bonus when you feel like you're getting your money's worth, and in this case, the restaurant delivered on that front. I unfortunately discovered a few pieces of eggshell in the dish. It was a bit disappointing to encounter this unexpected obstacle, as it affected the overall enjoyment of the meal. While finding eggshell in my food was not the most pleasant experience, I believe it to be an isolated incident that does not necessarily reflect the overall quality of the Summer Palace Restaurant. Perhaps it was a rare oversight in the kitchen, and I would hope that they take steps to ensure it doesn't happen again in the future.

This place is incredibly close to where we live. The staff is always friendly and the food is good. Talk slowly on the phone or you’ll have to repeat yourself. I’ve ordered smaller meals that have been good and even put in a huge order and everyone was happy with it; we weren’t missing items and the food was hot. It is not the absolute best food I’ve ever had (I’m from NJ) but for the convenience factor, it’s well worth it.

Take out only as of 12/21/22. Food wad okay, nothing special. If you've had average Chinese take out you've had this place. That being said, I did like their egg drop soup and szechuan shrimp lunch combo. Not entirely convinced that they use Jasmine rice but I would eat here again.

I got this big order a few minutes ago. main was the crispy whole fish, $21 for a cold crispy fish, well done but what concerns me the most is that some parts were crispy but others fall apart like mushy as for not good, that’s when I stopped eating; house special fried rice enough meat but bland; tempura nail it but would have been great to have it hot; vegetable egg foo young burnt; house salad has just lettuce, not even carrots; chicken and broccoli bland and very acceptable dumplings. yes I’m a chef by all means ain’t matter if it’s a neighborhood restaurant important is to bring out fresh food. wonder what is your sanitation rate. I’m from out of town and sorry to who answer the phone but $3 will not compensate a food poisoning.

First time ordering here in a long time. I will not be back. 1. Website says a dinner combination is $14.95. I ordered 2 meals and lo mein. My bill was $60! They charged me $19.95 for each combination. This is not what their website says. 2. General Tso and Bourban chicken were dry and the quality of chicken was bad. Very stingy and tough. 3. Egg rolls were not crispy.

This was not good the sweet and sour chicken was over cooked. The fried rice had like an curry flavor. And sesame chicken was half batter( that was undercooked) and half tiny pieces of chicken. The soups had no flavor.

I’m leaving a honest review because they keep advertising this place as “best Chinese place”. I wish there was a better Chinese food place near Windermere the rice , the noodles, the broccoli it was all bad. My daughter was so upset and hungry. Waste of money. Never again.

DO NOT EAT HERE! The prices they show you online are not correct and you will pay 25-30% more when you get there! Absolutely awful and deceptive! The food was bland and the staff was rude also. EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Went in here looking for a small meal to share with my partner. Ordered one dinner plate and dumplings as well. 32 DOLLARS!!!?!? That is highway robbery. Food is not even good! My partner asked for dumplings, and the worker knew what he was doing charging us for a full order when he knew we wanted a small order. One plate of sesame chicken and an order of dumplings 32 DOLLARS!?!? Could’ve gotten double the food at Pei Wei.

My girlfriend went to get take out for us she said the staff was friendly however when we got our food at home. I was eating the general tsos tofu...and I almost ate a tofu piece with a staple in it and it was full launched in the piece? Sorry I've worked in kitchens for like almost 7 years and this is the first time I've ever seen a staple in my food. I was never so grossed out I couldn't even eat anymore food nor will I get food from this place. My girlfriend has the picture imma have to get it from her. This was terrible. Staple or even a staple gun should not be around where you are cooking food.

Just went in to the restaurant to order a small beef fried rice. I waited it felt like 20 minutes to get old rice and old beef filled with grease/oil. OMG, the peas were frozen and still not well cooked. It was 10.00 for food that clearly had been reheated a few times over. I didn't even bother to call because, it wasn't going to do anything. Also, the place looks filthy. I see great reviews on here but they were from years ago. It definitely does not describe my experience. Learned my lesson...starting to like Chinese food less and less.

Really bad, ordered in Uber eats, it has a much higher rating on their. Cost $110 and was missing half the items that make up a crispy duck order and no sweet and sour sauce with sweet and sour chicken so just left with deep fried batter chicken. Avoid!

A few days ago I came to eat at this restaurant. At first they treated me very badly because on 2 occasions they were wrong with my order and their response was very rude. At the same time I saw insects walking in the restaurant. I got tired of the bad attitude from the lady and the manager. I told him to give me my money back for all the wrong orders, as it was the fairest thing to do. They automatically answered me no and started being disrespectful towards me and my wife. If you want to have a hard time, I recommend this restaurant.

Portion size is good but seriously my wife makes better Asian food at home. Fried rice had no flavor, had boiled shrimp on top. Veggie lomein was okay but for the price this food is not worth it.

Ordered take-out and was disappointed with overall experience. Egg drop soup was bland. Rice portion was also super small and not very good flavor. They forgot the sweet and sour sauce on the sweet and sour chicken. I called and they asked me if I would like for them to deliver it to my home with 2 complimentary egg rolls, they could deliver in 5 minutes. I said yes. 15 minutes later I called and asked what happened. I only live about 5 minutes away. Person on the phone thought I said I would pick it up. How on earth they understood that when they asked me specifically if I would like for them to deliver it and then confirmed the delivery time, is beyond me. Quality of food is poor, flavor is bland and it's overpriced. Almost $15 for a sweet and sour chicken combo is too expensive. I would expect to pay no more than $10-$11 for take-out. Do not recommend. Next time I will drive the 15 minutes to the next decent Chinese restaurant. I think that's the only reason they have stayed open this long, no real competition in the area.

Don’t eat here!! The food is terrible!! We ordered the honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and pork fried rice and everything tasted so old and freezer burned! We ate inside and one of the workers were playing videos super loud! Not a good atmosphere at all! Not worth the money at all!

I’m sorry but I thought the food was horrible. The pork fried rice had absolutely no taste, the most bland thing ever. The dumplings had so much extra dough,and as another reviewer says, the sweet and sour chicken sauce is extremely watery. I will not be ordering from this place again unfortunately.

We love trying new Chinese takeout restaurants and have tested/tasted quite a few and this was by FAR the worst ever! The restaurant seemed clean, the staff was fine, but the food tasted SO bad. We ordered about $40 worth of food to try various dishes and ended up throwing out 90% of the food. I hated being so wasteful but we didn't have a choice. We will be going back to Stoneybrook West China Wok which is a much further drive for us, but it will be worth the drive.

It did have some chicken in it but the rest was a slimy goop. Couldn’t even wash it down with water as they do not provide cups of water. We ended up walking out, leaving our food there. This place used to be so much better but it seems new owners have taken over and basically ruined it. I wouldn’t feed that “food” to my dog.

Ordered tofu, they sent chicken. Called to get assistance and was told that because it was Uber Eats, they couldn’t deliver an order with correct item. I have allergy issues and this is disappointing that they lack caution. I had ordered previously and loved them. But this is too dangerous to risk for me to do business with them again.
