A wonderful country pub. Staff are so friendly. A good selection of drinks to choose from. The decor has changed since we last visited and it is a huge improvement. Much calmer and cosier. We went for Sunday lunch and the food was amazing. So well presented and very tasty. Will definitely be going again and again.

Just got back from trying this pub. Its one of those that I've been past a thousand times but never been in. It was worth the wait. The menus were full of choices and the freshly made pizzas were very popular. We sat in the garden as it was a lovely day. Plenty of space, very dog friendly and swings for the kids. Staff were very helpful and there was plenty of them. We ordered squid rings and goats cheese for starters. For mains we had pork souvlaki. All the food was very nice and full of flavour. The side salads were fresh and tasty. The food came to £55. Good value for the quality. We will definitely return. Maybe try the pizza next time!!

Great place to go with your family or a bunch of mates. Big garden out back with swings for the kids and lots of covered seating in case it rains. Food is great, one of our party was RAVING about the Caesar salad, the service is great and it's affordable. Special mention to Big Frank, the best pub dog in town!

The new team are awesome! The food is absolutely incredible. We had the octopus to start and it was the tastiest starter ever. The gorgeous lamp rump for main which 10/10 and the chocolate brownie for desert.

Lovely village pub in Billingshurst West Sussex. We stopped off part way through our journey to Petworth and we are so pleased we did. The pub has a rustic feel with heavy duty wooden tables and chairs, the atmosphere was relaxed and we received a warm welcome. At the back is a most beautiful garden and a patio area. Plenty of comfortable seating is available with parasols and shaded areas too. Our lunches were sandwiches which came with fries and cost around £11. That may seem like a lot but please look at the photos and you'll see that it's like a main meal. I chose the fish finger bap, well I was certainly impressed with what came out. Proper chunky fish, hand battered and three generous pieces in a quality bap with homemade tartare sauce, skin on fries and a tasty side salad. My wife had the venue and bacon open sandwich and again it was generous and tasty. We moved to the garden as it is so pretty and ordered some ice cream for me and an Eton mess for my wife, again both very tasty. Whilst there,we also saw a fair few dishes come out of the kitchen and all looked well presented and it all looked like it was created in the kitchen and not just shipped in from Bookers or similar. The local area is lovely and well worth a visit. This is definitely one of those pubs you wish was in your doorstep. Thank you to the friendly staff and well done to the kitchen.

I had the steak and ale pie which was delicious. It appeared to be freshly baked so there was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. My daughter had the steak burger which also looked great. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We will certainly come back if we are in the area.

Incredible food enjoyed so much. Did not need the pudding at all because we were so full but the young server told us they were that big so we would fit them in. We were so pleased we had them they were just amazing. We didn't eat in the garden but there was a lovely garden area and they have a pizza oven as well. Definitely recommend for a great meal.

My husband and I stopped here for Sunday lunch and received a very warm welcome from the new owners. The nut roast was delicious as was the roast pork and both were served with nicely cooked seasonal vegetables. We then had our first Christmas pudding of the season. Our dog was made very welcome and given treats. We plan to return next time we are driving that way.

Popped in here to check out the place after the new owners had taken over and what a massive change there has been! Fresh new look, new feel, and all round new vibe! Food is banging with great size portions and the hosts were all amazing aswell. Will definitely be taking the family back to try the Sunday lunches as the menu looks great and very reasonable too! Can't wait for spice night either!!

Went to the Three Crowns for a work team Christmas booking and although some minor teething problems due to the change in management and the previous owners not providing information on bookings to the new owners, Vim and his wife who have now taken over were so friendly accommodating and welcoming! The atmosphere was wonderful and relaxed, The staff were friendly and attentive, Vim and his wife popped in to welcome us personally which which was a wonderful personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble and the food and drinks were wonderful. We can't wait to go back, thank you both for making our visit so much fun.

We booked for Boxing Day before the management changed, and so we were a little nervous about the booking as a consequence. We needn’t have been! The food, service and hospitality far exceeded our expectations. Everyone of our party of eleven, including teenagers, loved the food. The roast sirloin of beef was absolutely amazing - melt in your mouth - flavoursome. The service was with a smile and attentive, and the landlord made a point of coming to say hello and welcome everyone - a lovely man. This is an establishment that deserves to be well supported and in return, if our experience is to be the norm, you will not be disappointed! Try it.

A stunning village pub with friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. The food was delicious. We stopped for lunch on the way to Gatwick airport. All dishes were prepared freshly by chef including the coleslaw, coronation chicken, tartar sauce and the amazing chocolate delice.

We recently visited the pub under its new management, and I was really impressed! The service from Tash was absolutely fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. It’s clear that the new team is doing a great job, and I’m excited to come back soon. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Popped in the on a Friday night for a drinks with friends. I’m trying to lose weight so opted for gin and tonic instead of beer, and had one of best G&Ts I’ve had in ages after Natasha recommended a new tonic water. My friends had fish and chips which they loved. My only suggestion is more vegan options.

I have never seen such huge onion rings!! We did not book but we're lucky enough to be seated and served on a Friday evening. The portions were huge and so delicious. We choose fish and chips and the Burger. Being greedy we confess to squeezing in dessert and coffee too. We will be back soon.

What a fabulous pub! Lovely - delicious food and great service. The pub is also really cute. Going back again next week.

We have eaten here 4 times now since it's re-opening this summer. Great food, well presented, good portion sizes and good value. The locals night is exceptional value with any 2 courses on the menu at £19 (or 3 for £24 but we couldn't manage that)! Thank you Meg for your welcoming and friendly service this evening.

A
Adrian Morgan

Really friendly and helpful staff here. We had lunch which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend this pub for both food and if you just fancy a drink.

What a gem! We stopped in for some food on our way back from a day at Goodwood and were absolutely not disappointed. Everything on the menu sounded incredible, we honestly could have eaten it all. 100% recommend, and we’ll definitely be returning!

Drinks and food were delicious and the staff are wonderful. It’s rare to get a combination of these things. We have now been to The Three Crowns a few times in the past month and loved it. I highly recommend this place. They have deals on Wednesday and Fridays nights for certain meals. Their fish n chips is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I also highly recommend the Guinness and steak pie as well as their Eaton Mess desert.

H

We ate on a Wednesday lunchtime. Pub was clean and well cared for. Service was great and food was delicious from a well thought out menu with the option of some extra specials. Will definitely visit again.

We were incredibly impressed with both the food and the attentiveness of the entire staff during our recent visit. The service was quick, everyone was super friendly, and the live music made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks, everyone!

I ordered the burger with truffle & parmesan fries which was nice, although, I couldn't detect any parmesan on my fries. My wife went for the chicken Caesar salad. I should've taken a better picture of the burger, it came with two patties. A very pleasant place to visit.

Just popped in for a drink. Nice place. Kitchen staff a bit off. Front if house fab. Beer offering amazing

D
Duncan Hill

Disappointed by the cost tbh - £20 for a very small plate of hams with three small pieces of bread…. It’s a lovely place though with a really nice garden.

D

We had Sunday trio roast £25 a head ment to have beef ,pork and chicken there was no chicken?also we had no red cabbage with it and only 1 carrot each ? How the hell can you charge £25 😒for, this?and expect the customers to stay silent lol 😆 there no excuses for leaving out food no matter what time in the day it is .

J
Janice Shaw

Disappointing meal on Sunday for a birthday celebration. Poor choice of drinks. A lot of the menu was unavailable. Ran out of lamb by 1.45 - told after they had taken our order. Staff apologised said too many people had ordered at the same time! Cold soggy vegetables, dry beef wellington, soggy yorkshire pudding. No coffee. Staff were obviously struggling to cope but tried to keep smiling. Had to ask 3 times for our drinks. Real shame as its a lovely old building - poor compared to our previous visit before new management.

N
