Love the crunchy chicken tacos 🌮 with their very own hot chili (it's the dark one with whole jalapeños in it). Worth the drive there from Sacramento. YUUMM! 😋 (**UPDATE: Wanted to update my review since I've been coming to this location for well over 10 years. My last visit was on 8/28/21. I was in the area with a dear friend of mine and wanted her to try the crispy tacos so I invited her there. We initially ordered our food to go through the drive-thru but decided to eat inside instead. So we parked and went inside to dine. When I went up to ask for a container of their chiles toreados it was like I was bothering the cashier to do her job. Second time I went up was to buy a side of sour cream and even then she seemed like I was bothering her. Food was on point once again, however, front register customer service was not. Sadly, not the first time. Ever since the older lady that used to ring us up has no longer been there for the last couple/several years, the younger staff seem very arrogant and rude. There was no greeting, no warm smile or anything that made you feel welcomed and comfortable. Regardless of YOUR day, everyone deserves the same treatment, especially if you are a paying customer. (Guy in the drive-thru was friendly.)

The food is always so fresh and delicious. The refried beans and rice from scratch......AMAZING. The service is great. The salsa is alsp gresh and made daily. The chips are hot and crip, not too salty..just right.

Tasty food with good flavor and not greasy. Had the shrimp taco and it was good. Had the fried fish taco but was lacking in taste. Small maneuverable space with decent seating.

Yummy food, bomb carne asada fries. Fast service. Easy cleanup. Nice place for a fast meal. Edit. As the years go by the service has gotten worse. The food is the same. The service is inconsistent. The bad days are more than the good days.

Loved it! Placed our order at the drive thru and proceeded to pull up to the window. The cashier opens the window and before I could pay for the food the first thing she said was "thank you so much for coming to El patio" with a big smile on her face! I think that is the first time that has ever happened to me at any drive thru anywhere! A "thank you" before you have even payed for and received your food? OUTSTANDING! Incredible customer service! You rarely if ever find that at places anymore! I didn't get her name but she was great! The food was good. Was hot and fresh and the birria was awesome! Will definitely be going back! Can't believe it took this long for me to try El patio out. I'm a fan!

It's been about 2 years since I last came, but I went back today. The service and atmosphere were good, but the food has gone downhill. They used to have the best, freshest tortillas, ever (they were thicker than normal and very soft) and the burritos were huge - but not today, unfortunately - the tortillas were supermarket grade and stale, and the burritos were smaller. The salsa was still great, and they haven't raised their prices, so that deserves credit, but the food was lacking its former glory. 🙁

Big disappointment. Enchiladas were dry. Bean burrito was mostly dry rice. Lacked flavor. Thought I'd give it a try, maybe I ordered the wrong things? In any case, I won't be giving this place anymore money anytime soon.

Pretty disappointed tonight with my carne asada fries. Never have had an issue like this before at El Patio. Fries were obviously old stale fries that were refried, and very skimpy on the carne asada

To be very honest $5 for a taco I thought I was going to get a homemade tortilla I waited 20 minutes for six tacos lol 10 times better a taco truck

No authenticity. The Carne Asada plate were chopped and it looks like they use the same meet for everything such as tacos and burritos, I mean one for all. I ordered a plate, in most Mexican Restaurants it would have been steak like carne asada , but these were chopped and it was cold. Obviously it has been cooked earlier. Rice and beans were cold. The horchatas has nothing similar to any other Mexican restaurants. This places looks like used the powder horchatas to serve the customers. I paid over 18 dollars for a food that went on wasted ! I would never comeback here again. No one even checks the dining with so many flies flying around cannot even enjoy the food for trying to move the flies away from the table. I finished slightly half of the plate and didn’t even wanted it to go. Save your money and go to a way better Mexican Restaurant that has the authenticity of real food and the spicy 🌶️ that you are looking for. You deserve a better plate of food with your money. Hot food and fresh should be serve!

This place is a joke!! This is my 3rd and last time time there every time was bad experience as I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered different things every time. They are rude and do not have patience at the speaker before I can ask for a second item she is rushing me. This was our super breakfast burrito with steak and as you can see there is no steak just about a table spoon on one side it was more of a guacamole salsa and rice burrito so disgusting I just tossed it in the trash I would never recommend this place to anyone. I wish I would’ve taken photos of my other meals do not waste your money here they don’t serve their food with quality at all and you don’t get what you ask for.. from customer service to food quality it’s all bad..

Amazing food at the Davis location however, the Woodland location was terrible. My chicken quesadilla was drowning in grease. Threw it out and headed to the Davis location as I type this... Update: 2nd photo is chicken quesadilla at the Davis location. 100x better quesadilla, guacamole and much, much better customer service!
