Family and friends it was around $230 for 17 service was excellent food was delicious and yes I'll be going again
I’ve been a regular for 3 years now, and it never disappoints, so far best Ramen in the area . The owner and her wife are so welcoming and nice.
ive been to alot of ramen spots and this place is one of the top on the list! the ramen broth is very rich and definitely helps if you want to get away from the cold outside :)
Great food nice people
Best ramen you can get in the area, top ramen you can get in Queens.
Best ramen in Woodside. Highly recommend giving it a try, has become one of my favorite spots. Nothing like a steamy hot bowl on a cold day 😉!
OMG! I just had the most amazing soup I have ever had! This was amazing ramen soup! I cannot believe good can be this good! What a great job! THANK YOU !
I love this restaurant. Awesome Tonkatsu. I have eaten there several times. Will be back next month when I am in Woodside
Love the udon and chicken katsu here! Very generous portions and everything was well made! Will definitely be returning for more!
Ordered to go and the ramen stayed warm and was delicious, thank you to the waitress for the recommendation.
Food is delicious and so wholesome! I got the seafood ramen (asked them to make it with Udon). Friendly and clean. 👌
Compared very well to the ramen from a highly rated DC store. I was impressed by the curry ramen although I suppose it more subject than most.
The noodle was great the taste of the soup was really really good I had the beef on noodle soup and my friend had the chicken noodle soup and everything was great the service was great the inside of the restaurant look really nice and clean and the food tasted really fresh and clean
Excellent food and good atmosphere. Very close to the 7 train and bus stops. A new neighborhood favorite for me!
Great ramen , great customer service . Everyone was nice and friendly, if you’re looking for good ramen this is the place to be .
Great ramen and side dishes. Super nice staff. This is my favorite spot for chilly night's comfort food. Funny story, One of the cooks used to work at my favorite spot for ramen in the city and now is just a couple blocks away from home, #blessed.
I've tried most of the ramen choices now and they are all delicious. The chefs and the manager are all really friendly as well. When I first went I thought it was a bit pricey at about $13 but it must be worth the money because I keep going back!
One of my favorite places to eat chicken teriyaki in NY, they also have a mango that is just amazing, I would recommend this restaurant as one of my favorite places to eat in NY.
Really good food! Ramen is flavorful and have the perfect texture noodles. Broth is close to the taste of ichiran for half the cost. Bolgogi and Japanese curry was excellent along with the fried chicken! Service is friendly also!
Three Bowls is the best. We order takeout and dine in here all the time. I always look forward to their cold noodle dishes in the summer, which are incredibly refreshing and delicious. This year they have 4 different cold noodles on the menu!! I can't wait to try them all. Everything from the gyoza to the ginger salad dressing is made in-house, from scratch. Our usual favorites are the tonkotsu ramen, any of the udons, the shortrib platter, and the katsu curries.
A quaint restaurant for ramen. Staff were nice and courteous. Food was great and the ramen was proportionate enough for one person. The broth was rich and full of flavor. I would have loved to try the bulgogi tacos which they were out of, but the takoyaki was really good.
I tried every noodle menu here and my personal best is kimchi ramen👍 been there at least once a week and now I’m writing this review because I searched it to know when is the open time. Will be there in an hour 😂
Great customer service! Prices are great too. Being new to Korean food, they were patient enough to help me make a choice of meal when I wasn't so sure about what each meal contained.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I crave the Tantanmen and it’s ALWAYS PERFECT!!!! And the staff are like family! Comfort food, with the comfort of a family feel! I’d give them 10 stars if I could! ❤️💕
Ever since I went to Japan and tried ramen for the first time I’ve been craving something similar. I’ve tried many local plus non local spots and I've finally found it. My top favorites are kimchi and the spicy miso ramen. It’s worth the try and worth the price.
This was practically a hidden gem. Was greeted kindly. The food as well was great. It was slow at the time so food came out faster than expected. This place is a little out of my area but ill be sure to pass by once more if I'm around.
Hidden gem of the neighborhood. Tonkotsu was delicious, as we're the bulgogi tacos. Super clean and strict limited seating due to Covid made for a comfortable dining experience. Highly recommended.
Very cute place with super nice staff and great food. The food had a homemade touch to it and portions were great. We had ramen and katsu curry and it was delicious
Prices are good for soup portions (you get a BIG bowl of udon or ramen), fast service, social distance maintained. Food is tasty and seating area is clean.
I had the fish udon oden and it tastes and looks GREAT. Legit just like the picture lol. Food was ready when I arrived, all in all a great experience, would recommend 👍
The food is great. My mom and I ordered Tonkotzu Ramen, Tofu Ramen and Takoyaki. They are all tasty. The staffs are friendly and has excellent customer service. The place is clean as well.
Stopped by to try out their pork katsu curry for take out. Loved how they put the curry in a side container that allowed me to dip the pork katsu and pour on my rice the way I like it. The curry was very tasty with good amount of pork katsu. Very reasonably priced. Staff were kind and courteous. Definitely will come back and try some other things.
Ordered a kimchi ramen over Uber eats like 5 mins before closing and called to check if I could still order, the lady over the phone pleasantly stated that I could. I’ve been sick with the flu and the soup was so tasty , spicy so it opened me a up a bit. Very good ramen !🍜
We have been 4-5 times as a family of 4. We love their food. I was recently at ippudo in midtown, and I can tell you the food is better, cheaper and more quantity at 3 bowls ramen! We are so happy we discovered that place in queens! We will definitely be back soon!!
My favorite place in Woodside to come and eat authentic ramen. Please try the Beef one and the dumplings. Simply delicious!!! 10/10
I have loved this place for years. The owner Oscar and Sue are some of the nicest people in the world and you can taste the love in the food. Favorites or salmon teriyaki, tonkatsu ramen, katsu curry, all the appetizers, and the kalbi. And any summer specials they have are amazing as well.
Fantastic restaurant. It is my third visit and first time I brought the whole family. We really enjoyed the food, the service. Delicious and attentive. Thank you.
This place is always fantastic. Consistently great food and service. Shoyu ramen is very good. The noodles are a perfect texture, neither too soft nor too firm. Nice selection of apps as well. Clean, comfy, speedy and friendly. They also have Sapporo on draft which is nice bonus.
Can only speak to the katsu and curry katsu for now but their portions are large (2 cutlets per order), they use fresh oil so it is crispy with no aftertaste, and their salads consist of really nice greens and have a fantastic onion dressing. I dare say their katsu is better than Taiyo in Sunnyside and the portion size makes it worth the $. This is my new go to spot and I look forward to trying other items. Nice lady up front too!
Really cute family run place. It's small and cozy. It was busy when we went and with a small staff, there's a little bit of a wait. This is the only place with takoyaki in the vicinity and I'm forever grateful. The ramen is good but I wouldn't say it's the most amazing. There's some room for improvement but I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's great for the area it's in and it's a local business I'm glad to support. I also disagree with the reviewers that think it's overpriced. I think the pricing is pretty fair especially for the quality. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food they serve. Additionally, for people who order through GrubHub/seamless, some of the local restaurants have no control over the delivery service since it's provided through GrubHub. I hope others will be more understanding and can give this place a shot!
I'm Japanese and I know how ramen and udon noodle should taste like. Well, this is the place if you are craving for tasty Japanese noodles. My son loves their noodles, says that better than mom's! lol
It has been opened for 5 years, in my neighborhood that I wasn't aware of.. the reason is that when I go to work, on 63rd/Roosevelt Ave, I walk east, so any stores on the west I had been paying much attention. I notice it today, because I was standing on the west, while waiting for a bus. I get to try the restaurant today, the friendly staffs, the food, and the atmosphere, make me want to come again.
I’m from Texas and have been to Three bowls ramen twice. Both times were great. Definitely a place I’d keep going to if ever I find myself back in New York.
Best ramen in the neighborhood. I always get a bowl when it cold outside or I am feeling sick. It warms the soul right up.
I love it, the service and the food was amazing, great option in a cold day like today 👌🏼👌🏼
I love this place. Very quiet. I enjoy eating there. Staff is absolutely amazing. Very friendly server. I would recommend it for those who like Japanese Ramen.
The best Katsu Curry I have ever had. We just LOVE this place. And the owners are so sweet. So glad you’re in the neighborhood!
Went here for a summer lunch special. All staff were welcoming and very kind. Ordered cold Ramen and a teriyaki with gyoza special. Food was delicious and served quickly! Prices were excellent. The owner was a very pleasant sweet woman who ensured our service was top quality.
Highly recommend the cold ramen which has shrimp, bamboo shoots and other veggies. The broth and dish is delicious. I actually had it two days in a row. It’s a refreshing and tasty dish on a hot summer day. We also enjoyed the takoyaki, dumplings, bulgogi, kimchi ramen and salmon/pork fried rice. The food is made with love which makes it even more delicious! Highly recommend: - takoyaki - salmon fried rice - kontaksu ramen
Last time when we came to NYC, we passed in front of this restaurant and the picture of a cat holding 3 bowls 🍜 of Ramen grabbed our attention. We decided that we'll for sure come and try the Ramen served by a cat 😺! 😂 We finally came here, ordered rock shrimp and a bowl of beef ramen with chicken base and rice noodles. OMG was that bowl of ramen, the best bowl of ramen we have ever eaten in our entire life!!! The broth was perfectly seasoned, beef was cooked to perfection, the noodles were just the right texture for slurping 🤤. The cook added freshly sliced jalapenos in The broth upon request which made it even better! The shrimps were very uniquely covered in just the right amount of sauce and out of this world delicious 😋🤤. How can food be so tasty 😋?! A definite comeback place for a million more times! 😂
Simple mom and pop shop with good flavors. Would prefer noodles to be thicker and chewier. Definitely order the karage!
It was surprisingly awesome experience. I didnt expect pretty good ramen in such a location.
It's good food I cannot complain about the food and also the price is not bad. For comparison I work in Manhattan and buy ramen at the underground. Pork buns are good, the dressing for the salad is really good. I would come back again and probably will visit once a month because it's 15 min walk from my house.
Went alone on Halloween night and the food was surprisingly nice. I ordered the Gyoza, Beef Ramen, and Chicken Katsu. The Gyoza had a very strong opening flavor of ginger (which I am not really a fan of) and came with a sake-soyu sauze that helped make the gyoza taste a bit better. The chicken katsu was cooked to perfection; but the sauce was a bit too sour for my liking. The Beef ramen had a good blend of light flavour with flavors from the vegetables, but the beef portion itself was quite lacking in flavor and amount. Overall, I enjoyed the food with the quiet atmosphere and is a decent spot near the Woodside LIRR station if you want to have a quick bite before travelling.
Food is good just too pricey. Maybe because they have no competitors on the area (or idk, just guessing but its just too much for us. We spent more or less 40$ + tips.) I mean, its worth the try, we might come back still, but we won’t be regulars. So yea, still recommended since there’s no much ramen place in woodside.
Food is good. Customer service not so excellent. One male staff is quite rude. Does not know how to talk respectfully to a customer.
Good food if you're hungry. Not exellent, but not bad either. Just a restaurant to eat on a weekday night or after drinking.
I hate giving a new neighborhood place a low review but I was not impressed here. It's very pricey and portions are incredibly small. The ramen is tasty though.
I found the broth to be rather bland in the ramen and the udon noodles. Quantity is good but taste is missing. The waiter is rude.
Ordered chicken katzu curry and only got the chicken 🤦🏽♂️ What a disgrace. First and last time ordering here. You had a simple order and couldn’t even handle that. Chicken was so-so. Definitely wasn’t seasoned properly along with the bland rice.
ordered the chicken katsu curry and am disappointed. literally just received a tiny container of plain rice and chicken. no sauce, no curry, nothing! very very disappointed. also paid $14 for this. 👎
Stopped by on a quick ramen craving, seeing how it was a local fav with 4.5/5… but I was quickly disappointed by the food. I’d steer clear of the chicken karaage, it was dry, tough, and lacked flavor - and that should’ve been my sign to leave (I mean…how do you mess up fried chicken). Calling that chicken karaage should be a crime. We also ordered pork buns, spicy miso and beef ramen - which ended up being mid/alright. Giant piece of pork belly fat (???) with above average servings of protein on the ramen. Great affordable restaurant but I was seeking flavor. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things? Atmosphere was nice, very clean bathroom and good service. Won’t return again.
It's a NO for me. The owner is rude as hell. Im a local and i used to go there for the tea. No longer. Im looking for a new Ramen spot if you new on share.
Slightly over priced for location and size of portions. It is betting on being a bit uncommon for neighborhood...but does not really make for repeat custom
I ate here one day with my wife craving for ramen. Itvwas a disappointment. First of all it was over priced for the portions. There was no flavor in the broth. And the noodles tasted like instant ramen. Actually the instant ramen tasted more flavourful.
I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but I’ve been to this place 4 times now: the menu is overpriced, the mains are okay, the Ramen is an embarrassment. The broth is weak, “spicy” is not spicy at all. The pork used for the Ramen dishes is about 99% fat, not marinated and almost no meat whatsoever. I’ve been eating Ramen for over 10 years and haven’t been this disappointed since I had “ramen” from a Chinese joint masking itself as Japanese. The owner/manager of Three Bowls said to me that “it’s ramen, so there is supposed to be a lot of fat in the meat” which couldn’t be further from the truth. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but after chronic disappointment I will not go back.
I am sorry to say. Gochu Jang and pork broth is not ramen. This restaurant is missing passion of authenticity. Very bland food. Uses mayonnaise on pork buns. Pork buns are simply boiled. Tastes like a burger you buy on the street. Wood side is far from getting quality ramen restaurant.
Ordered the ribeye platter to go. Portion size looked nothing like the picture. Wasnt sure what I was expecting for the price, but still feel ripped off. 2 measly pieced of steak, 85 percent was rice. Wont make the mistake of ordering this dish again. Their ramen is alright tho.
Horrible service at this restaurant place was completely empty but was still told we could not sit at a large table by the window because we were not a party of 4 people we waited over 15 minutes before we had to ask for water to be taken to the table no place setting on the table I work in the restaurant business and have never seen service this low before in my life would not recommend this place for “in house seating” just pick up your food and enjoy it at home
NEVER ORDERING FROM THERE AGAIN. They took over an hour an a half to make the delivery. I called the store five mins after the ETA and he said they are waiting on the driver. I called about 30 mins back and they did not pick up my call. After the 8th call (which was ignored) I got a text saying "sorry, I can't talk right now" so I texted back saying that I don't want my order and would like my whole refund back. Yet I got no text back and continue to call where they still havnted picked up my call.
very bad behavior with delivery drivers.
I’m sorry but who are those people that are raving about the food being delicious?? Are you seriously trying to push something that has no flavor, not even salt?!?? The ramen tasted like water and I’ve never felt more disappointed to spend 15$ on a bland bowl of soup. It literally lacked everything:flavor, taste, soul. I could’ve made it better at home. Silly me wishing to go out and enjoy a nice bowl of ramen…. It wasn’t even worth taking pictures…..
I made an order for delivery. Got the tonkotzu ramen, and recieved one piece of meat. The egg was spoiled. Also ordered beef bolgogi and it was spilled everywhere. The quality of the food is middle level. If you want to buy something to just eat and not for taste this is your place. But if you really want to eat a well done ramen don’t buy
Unfortunately! I would have to say that I felt discriminated when I asked the owner if I could use the restroom before picking up my order and she said “NO.” I was in shocked and I felt humiliated because in her point of view the bathroom is for “customers” not for a “pick up.” I was so disappointed. Extremely unprofessional!!!
Ordered on DoorDash today October 18th around 3.30pm. Karage chicken and chicken katsu curry. The chicken in both dishes was cold and undercooked. I didn’t notice until taking a few bites and then started to feel nauseous. Have ordered before from here and food was decent but won’t be eating here again.
worst experience today i went there my 2nd time first time when i o there my experienced was good but today when i entered from door she stopped me at door and giving me delivery bag on my hand i am socked??? and ask why?? omg then i realized they she judged me my clothes soo sad please don't do this with other from today bye bye
