There are two waiters that go above and beyond to make us feel well taken care of and part of the family. Our go to for Mexican food and margaritas.
This place is lit. The food is poppin and fresh. Great servings for what you pay. Always get the best service there and the drinks are always strong. Totally recommend it.
I eat here a lot and let’s just make a list of everything good about it The chips are almost always cooked fresh The salsa is to die for The ribeye steak is surprisingly a hidden gem The entire taco menu will make you never want to eat anywhere else again It’s simply a great place to eat
A very good place to eat. Friendly and courteous staff, food was great.
Literally freaking love this place!! Luckily it's across the street. I have so many days I call in my order and it's ready fresh and and steaming hot in minutes. Love their customer service!! Hands down amazing margaritas 😋
Love this place! Came here for lunch and the food was absolutely tasty. The staff was also very friendly. Will definitely come back here
This is a great restaurant worth going to or just stopping by. Their fajitas' are the best I ever had bar none. Enchiladas are great. Las Flores is worth a try. You won't regret it. The service is great, but they seem a little shy. You can thank me after.
When I am passing through Wallis, this place is a great stop. Good service, quiet, good food. I usually get the cheese enchiladas and my friend gets their pork chops. Whatever we have ever ordered has always been tasty, quickly, hot and fresh.
Legitimately the best Mexican restaurant I ate at during my trip to Houston. The service was quick and our server was very sweet and helpful with the menu. My friends and I decided to split the papa nacho appetizer. We never had something like that before so we were a little wary. After eating it, we unanimously agreed it was an excellent decision. I had the tacos al pastor for my entree and it was soooooo good. I had to add a little hot sauce because I like a little kick! The next time I come back to texas, this restaurant will be my first stop.
Definitely my favorite place! We eat here or grab to go very frequently. Amazing and delicious!!!! Very good prices for the amount of food you get. If you’re looking for good Mexican food, you can’t go wrong with Las Flores.
Good service and food always.
Food is great hot tasty great presentation Service polite and friendly Restaurant is clean
I was working around the area and I ordered different types of plates during the week and I can say everything taste delicious I recommend this place with my orders I get to tried their chips with salsas red and green also very good I really enjoy everything and very good prices and good quality.
This IS A HIDDEN GEM. Located literally connected to a dollar general. The atmosphere is great. Very clean. The wait staff super friendly (was a little slow on service) the food was amazing. The ONLY thing we didn't like was that we never got asked about refills on drinks. But, other than that highly recommended
I always enjoy coming here. Rarely do I have an issue with my food, but then again, I usually gravitate to my two favorites, Nachos Al Carbon and Enchiladas Suizas. But today, I ordered the Chile Relleno, cheese only. PRO tip! Do not order the salsa that comes with it, ask them instead to add RANCHERO sauce on top. Trust me on this! The salsa they typically add on top is a sweet and poor excuse for a salsa topping. This is why I recommend you request the Ranchero one instead.
Caldo de Pollo perfect example of back home Flautas are filled with chicken and great! Good lime Margarita!
Great place great foid only complaint i have is if you order any kind of steak it will be rare i ordered medium well and got rare

Any time I pass through this side of town, first thing on my mind is having fresh and delicious food from Las Flores! The service here is some of the best service I have ever experienced at any Mexican/Tex Mex restaurant in the surrounding area. The people here treat you like family. The food prices here are some of the best! They have an extensive menu with many options besides Mexican food. They also have American Cafe style food as well! I have yet to try other menu items, but my favorite has been the Enchiladas Al Carbon plate! I do plan on coming back more often and trying alot more menu items that I am curious about. You will not be disappointed! Stop in and try this hidden gem! 10/10
Los Flores is a great place to grab some great Mexican food or gather with friends for a drink and a meal. The margaritas are pretty good. Frosty mugs for beer is the best! Family owned and operated! Very accommodating for small parties or meetings in the side room! It’s nice to have in our small town. Good food. Good people! They have a chicken breast with white sauce that is divine. And a side order of asparagus! Amazing!!! We go often or pick up! Shout out to Maria, Christina, Luis, Rafael, and Angel!!!
Just a little hole in the wall. The kind with the best food. If you're looking for atmosphere this is not it but if you're looking for good food where the locals eat, this is it. My second time here and perfect both times.
The restaurant was clean and the server was super friendly and on top of everything. The food was good. I had the Burrito Special and, to me, the burrito wasn't as good as I expected but it was still good. The rice and beans were really good. Being lactose intolerant, I asked for my burrito with no cheese and they obliged. I'd come back if I ever got the chance again.
Weekly regular. Good food and at good prices. Staff is friendly and and helpful. Margarita are delicious!!

Really good Mexican dishes as well as an assortment of non traditional options to fill the restaurant gap in a small town. Salsa is on point, skip the queso and just plow the free green and red salsas. Fajitas are solid, served sizzling as they should be with good flavor and no over the top seasoning. Enchilladias with their tamatillo sauce is fantastic, great refried beans, rice is meh. Top notch service every time and fair pricing. Really good food found in a sleep little town that I love hanging out in.
It was a good decent place. Food was good but I was looking for more authentic Mexican cuisine. Food here was still great but it was more of a TexMex food.
It's a regular sort of Tex-Mex restaurant. Food is fine. Good frozen margaritas. Prices are moderate. Separate smoking area which is rare these days.
Found this place on the way from Houston to Portland Texas. My family and I were all starving for breakfast and thankfully this place appeared. I ordered the chorizo plate which was fantastic, my husband had cheese enchiladas which he said was amazing. We all loved their red salsa.
Good prices for good food. Not spectacular but always enjoyable! Except the strawberry margaritas, those are spectacular! This is one of the few places I will take the family out to eat because it won't break the bank to do so every once in a while.
Entrees are great, the guacamole had very little flavor, and the salsa had no flavor whatsoever. Might as well have been dipping the chips in water. House margaritas were decent.
Price is a little high, but you get huge servings. Offer authetic good Mexican food, free chips and salsa. If they mess your order up they are more then willing to fix it for you, they do make mistakes a good bit, as most the employees barely speak English. Still my favorite Mexican place outside of San Antonio.
I mean it's in Wallis. It's the only restaurant in town but it's pretty good food for what it is. Can't go wrong.
I had the Tacos Al Carbon (with beef fajita), and one word describes them: delicious! Unfortunately, they didn't have any Chile Relleno, although on the menu. The service felt a bit rushed, despite my party of two being the only other two patrons present.

Great little spot for Mexican food. We've gone several times and everything has been fresh. I've enjoyed my dish every time.
Food was pretty good at a good value (Monday lunch). Had a taco salad. Waiter was a bit eccentric for our taste though. Decor is pretty nice with some plants and a pretty woodland mural.
Not amazing and not awful. The restaurant was pretty dark but had someone near the door to greet you. I ordered a California Burrito with beef fajita and no tomatoes. The food was OK for the price, it was more of an enchilada and not really a burrito. Inexpensive food that taste OK but it was ready fast. Will update if I vist again and have a better experience. Update: I've been back a few times trying different items and my personal top recommendations are the Enchilada Al Carbon with beef and the Quesadillas. I've decided to go up to a four in reflection of this and if I find more I love, I'll update again.
It is what it is. If you're hungry it does the job. Food is decent. Sometimes the service is great sometimes it sucks. Sometimes you get your food quickly, sometimes it takes 50 minutes to get two plates of enchilada dinners.

I stopped in on a whim just to have lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I noticed it was very slow . The atmosphere was stale . I would believe it might be more festive in the evening. The service was as expected. The food was a little short . I ordered ice cream with my churros ... no hay . Soppapillas were ordered... no hay . A couple of other items I was looking for were unavailable. The food I was served was price justified , but I do enjoy the little 'extras' . It's the little things that make everything better. Overall score is a 7. I will be back for a second chance.
It's a place to eat. Just wasn't excited about my food i got. Have had much better
We were at a bbq place in East Bernard and one of the help recommends Las Flores's Red fish, a new item on the menu. We drove to Wallis and ask for the Red fish and was told they only had talapia. Decided to order beef fajita enchiladas instead. The chips came out and were cold and slightly stale. The red and green sauce had no kick to it. We asked if they had anything hotter and the waiter said yes and brought out some. The fajita was ok, not as much flavor as I like. I asked for charro beans instead of refried bean. Received a bowl with a small amount of beans with a lot of soup. The staffs were attentive and atmosphere was ok. Overall, for a small town restaurant it was average.
The place is a typical older Mexican restaurant - but for Wallis, it's probably one of the nicer eateries. Pleasant surprise, the bar is actually in another room. There are two TVs, at opposite ends of the oblong-shaped main dining room. Driving down the street, you won't miss it if you can see the bright yellow dollar store sign right next door. I asked if the fan above us could be turned off. He was able to do that without turning off all the fans. Yes, we were pretty disappointed they were out of crawfish topped redfish. It was Saturday at 6pm and they were already out of redfish and flounder. (Tilapia in not my favorite.) The guy at Vincek's Smokehouse had told us that it rivaled Pappasito's dish! My shrimp tacos had 8-10 small but decent shrimp in each tortilla. It came with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and shredded cheese. I took bites of rice and beans from my husband's plate to complete my meal, but my taste buds still craved redfish. Yes, the chips were slightly stale and the green and red salsas had no kick, but the red salsa was served nice and warm. The best thing I can say is that, upon request, they have a delicious, made-to-order habanero salsa to add real heat to the food! Maybe the locals prefer mild, but this salsa will really up the flavor level.

Notice they didn’t put jalapeños on the nachos nor brought them on the side? I had to get up and ask for them. The meat was bland. I guess they are trying to cater to Tex mex or people that don’t like flavor. The service was non existent. I had to ask for my check. The waiter was on his cell phone in the other room. It’s Wednesday lunch... not busy. Taco Bell has more flavor than this place. Just keep driving and go into town.

Would go lower but it won't let you. Mexican restaurant when asked what do you have on your menu that is spicy. Says no spicy. Buys a lot of what they sell from the dollar general next door. No spice to salsa ether
This place needs be cleaned more. Food came out in a timely manner but it was not good. The food needed salt, it was very bland and the flavor just wasn’t there. I was expecting more, definitely worse than most other Mexican restaurants.
won't eat here again. terrible service, brought tequila instead of tea, salsa tasted waterdowned and so did my pop. chips cold and stale. also managed to mess up my order after i made it clear as day to what i wanted. taste like I payed $10 for a meal cooked with dollar general ingredients **** that place .
work in the area and restaurants are scarce to none; thought I'd try them out because it was only a 9 min drive from my job.....was given the wrong order and then got all the way back to my job and get the call " I'm sorry I gave the wrong order do you want to come back and get the right one?" I declined the offer and decided to just eat the fajitas. Not very tasty :(
Terrible Mexican food. You get better quality Mexican food off a food truck than this place. They get most of their ingredients from the dollar store next door. And they mess up super easy custom orders and their guacamole tastes like the avocado no taste. Won't ever go there again. Wish I could give this place a lower rating.
Horrible! Horrible! And Horrible! This is not Authentic Mexican. I had the Burrito California and it was small, the tortilla was hard. I’ve had Mexican food from Mexico, Laredo, Tx, Houston, etc. and this was the worse. The Salsa tasted like paste. I’m guessing the only reason they’re in business is, because the locals may not have many options here. I’ll never stop here again should I be passing through. $14.00 down the drain.

If you like velveeta cheese on your nachos, i guess this will work for you. I ordered tortilla soup and it was merely veg broth with tortilla strips in it. Cheap ingredients without much authentic flavoring. Maybe theyre popular for their margaritas.
