This place is a hidden Gem. Cash Only but worth every penny. Very reasonably prices with burgers starting at $3. The food is always fresh and made to order. I personally recommend everything. There has not been one thing I haven't liked from there. They sell out fast, so I recommend going early or calling ahead to make sure they are open. Very consistent with food and customer service. It's outside dining, but when the weather is nice, it's definitely worth just sitting outside and eating delicious food. I normally eat in my car if it's too cold outside.

This place is really cool. Located in the middle of the Mojave desert, and close to well nothing it wonderful to find this Oasis. This location boast be the Original location of Del Taco. From modest beginning great things come, and this is one of them. This small mom and son operation is an inspiration to the American dream. Grab a burger a fries, the taco stand is closed and grub on down to a fantastic meal.

Make sure you have cash but the food is so absolutely worth taking out cash fair price and the outdoor eating is definitely nice but would say maybe put a wind break would be nice just to help manage the open breeze

I came here for the first time today. I wanted to try someplace new because it was my birthday and this place had great reviews. Well, let me tell you, the reviews are spot on. The Mother and Son team are so nice and courteous and the food is excellent. I can definitely see why they sell out early. I'll absolutely be visiting this establishment more often. FYI , they are cash only but there is an ATM at the local store down the street.

Amazing! Not only was the food incredible. But the service was too. Richard told us he and his Mother who is 79 run the place after his father passed away. She was cooking up some delicious food. The buffalo ranch chicken fries were perfection. The cheeseburger was cheesy and juicy. Fries in general were the perfect amount of softness and crunch. And the hard taco hit the spot! FLAAAAAVOR! We will come back next time through. Richard and his beautiful mother are killing the food game and I hope to continue to see them thriving! Stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

First time road trip from Las Vegas to LA, found this little spot beside the highway. The tacos are amazingly delicious, especially with the guacamole sauce and spicy sauce. My husband had the burger that is really filling and juicy. The service is exceptional, very friendly. Try their food! You will not be disappointed. :)

They’re welcoming, very appreciative of everyone’s support, and the food was simple, VERY affordable and delicious. We live about 45 minutes away and drove there just to have it! I got a delicious double burger with avocado, fries, and a shake for about $8. The young man who took my order was one of the friendliest people I've met in quite a while. Worth the stop!

I originally debated between stopping at one of the older in operation Del-Taco franchised locations within Barstow or this first original Del-Taco in Yermo. I decided to stop here and I'm so so glad I did. I had the chance to talk with Richard and learn a bit more about the restaurant among other things during a slow time as the only customer. Very friendly and I got to glimpse the story and history behind the restaurant and how their family are continuing their own spin at this original location. They serve tacos, burritos, fries, and burgers at reasonable prices. The taco I had was great and everything tasted fresh. So it is the original Del Taco location AND moreso Tita's Burger Den 🍔 🌮🌯 Richard did mention that sometimes they do need to close the restaurant from customers (during normal operating hours) if they receive large orders from the nearby military base with it being a small place. I suggest to call ahead to check if they're open and definitely give this place a try. It's the story and charm which will have me coming back when driving to and from Las Vegas.

Went there for the first time today. I had a Dave’s way double hamburger and fries. Wow and wow it was delicious. The fries are to die for! I came here with a big group at 11 am. It is really worth experiencing. The meat patties were so thick. I can’t wait to go again!!

Stopped here on our way home from Vegas. It is in a quiet block around the corner from Eddie's World. Family owned small business. It takes a little while to get the food, but the service is excellent and the food is great quality.

The place was run down and looked abandoned but that’s how hidden gems are found. I had a cheeseburger, breakfast burrito, and both were phenomenal. The Staff were very friendly and polite. - Also you should know before hand, this place only takes CASH.

Was driving to this spot 20 minutes to came and see that they’re closed. And place looks like It didn’t work for a long time. Don’t waste your time to drive there.
