Amazing manager and staff great fresh tasting food

Cava is always the best. Food is always on point. But, sometimes for the sake of speeding up the line, the server of this establishment failed either hear me or care for my choices and ended up giving me a scoop the wrong food item causing the bowl to start from scratch. I understand the food industry becomes taxing but it was disappointing to see the employee helping me become irked when I was simply telling him what I wanted. Delicious none the less.

Every time I come to this cava location, I am satisfied with my service. This is my preferred location !

On January 10th, I ordered a spicy lamb meatballs and sweet potato bowl with supergreens and basmati rice with lemon tahini balsamic date vinaigrette and . The first time I got to the top of the line, I was told they were out of meatballs and that it would be a 25 minute wait. I decided to wait then rejoin the line and successfully able to put through my order. Unfortunately, while I was eating I bit into a hard sharp black piece of plastic. I don't expect to find foreign objects in my food.

Excited to have a Cava closer but I'll just stick to the ones in the city for now, this location is small so not much seating, it was also packed! I ordered ahead and got my order in a timely fashion I looked around to see if maybe I could sit down and saw empty tables but it was very dirty! I think they need to do more quality control with the food before rolling out features like Mobile app ordering!

I often come to CAVA, however there were a few times when inventory was not well stocked and I wanted Tzatziki but that was not available, near opening days they did not have grilled chicken which I understand but with the Tzatziki.. I was a bit shocked especially since this was not even during closing time. I LOVE CAVA. So delicious though, but i hope inventory is better. I think the service was fast too but in the future I strive to see everything available for customers

Only come to this Cava cause it’s the closest to me. This place has only been open for a little over a month and is already disappointing. Line is long, various items (dips & proteins mainly) were not available during the middle of the day. Overall negative experience. Hope it improves soon.

Placed an order online to pickup at 12:45. Got there at 12:42 and was waiting there for almost 15 minutes for my food. I could have waited on the line and got my food quicker that way. Also the plating is very messy and doesn’t make sense. I’ve been to the cava in Ryebrook many times and the plating is so much nicer and easier to work with and actually looks like the bowls in the pictures online. The food overall tasted the same and was still very good. Hoping they get better and more efficient.

Came to this location about a month after opening… it’s lovely to have an healthy food option here, but they definitely need to work out some kinks. The wait was extremely long and the employees all seem confused. Hope they can work out the kinks!

I waited until I visited a few times before reviewing. Here what I can share after 3 visits. The foods been most often than not. Portions are also good. My callout can be found with the customer service. I do give grace seeing as the location is new and is constantly busy, but today I visited outside of peak about an hour after open and most of the team were either snappy or appeared frustrated. Although some may think this has little to do with the food I do consider this as part of my experience whether dinning in or out.

Love cava but most are far, came here to grab late dinner and was disappointed unfortunately, the place was a mess, the staff was slow and unorganized. Also wait time was extremely long and there was no line. Then as I paid and went to grab my fork ans drink i had to grab everything from the plastic sleeves they come in, verse the alloted space for the utensils. My last comment everything was sticky. Yuck. I won't be coming here again.

Don't come to this cava location till it dies off, same as the chickfilla that opened up a couple months ago, give it a week or two, went here yesterday and there was a line outside. Waited 32 mins to finally order and the food was cold and stale, not worth the wait, will give it another try once it dies out.

Poorly run...slow unwelcoming service and 1/3 of items were out. Love CAVA, but this location needs serious help.

During my first visit, the food tasted good and felt like a healthier alternative to Chipotle. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. The line to order was very long, and it quickly became clear that online ordering for pickup was the better option. The server struggled to multitask, attempting to take multiple orders at once, while the server handling toppings rushed customers and was openly rude. During my second visit, I ordered online and arrived thirty minutes later, but my food was still not ready. When I finally received my order, I was told one ingredient was unavailable, which was understandable. However, the server carelessly threw my bowl into the bag, causing it to flip upside down. After sitting down to eat, I realized several items were missing. I had paid extra for half chicken and half lamb, but there was no lamb at all. Arugula, corn, and pita chips were also missing. When I brought this to the server’s attention, she responded rudely, adding only four small pieces of lamb to my bowl, and said that the other ingredients were unavailable. There was no notice posted in the restaurant, and the ordering app did not indicate that these items were out of stock. It is frustrating to visit a restaurant that frequently runs out of key ingredients or sauces without informing customers ahead of time. To make matters worse, one ingredient in my bowl was extremely salty, to the point that I lost my appetite and threw the bowl away. Due to the repeated service issues and lack of transparency, I would not return to this location. That said, the Manhattan locations provide a significantly better experience.

Okay so my only issue would be the fact the staff is slow sometimes they don’t really know what is going on I don’t blame them but I went to chipotle and the staff is quick and always ready to go beside that when they run of out foods I would say they take forever to refill I just wish the staff would be more flexible and get things ready when things run out

Ordered 20 mins before and didn’t get my order til 15minutes after the estimated time, order was completely wrong, added items I did not want at all. Dissatisfied and disappointed because I spent money and got everything wrong.

Hey so I’m never the person to leave a negative review until now. we showed up and They had so many things wrong. Tons of food items missing. My friend was a vegan and he couldn’t even eat a good style salad thing. The dude making my food tried grabbing the most worst avacaods ive ever seen. Had to tell him to grab a good one. I will not be comin here again

Guys seriously, listen to the reviews. Don’t waste your time. It’s super packed in there 24/7, the service isn’t great, and realistically they run out of everything … all the time. Ran out of all the dressings and tzatziki? That doesn’t make any sense. Save your money. Cava is way too expensive to not get your money’s worth and your food being cold.

They had nothing left and charged me full price they would not give me extra protein when they didn’t have any vegetables or sauces they were being stingy even when it was closing time customer satisfaction is 0. Every other CAVA I’ve been to is great. This one is not. The food quality isn’t there, and there’s clearly no leadership here. Lines are long, workers are slow, and they’re constantly missing ingredients. This location does not meet CAVA standards at all. Please do your self the favor and drive 20 minutes north to the Rye location!!

I was so looking forward to eat at this place, the food is good, but the service and wait time is unacceptable. We visited this place 2 times both on Friday nights. The first Friday night service was slow and steady but as expected I thought its Friday so im expecting it to be slow. However, a week later we visited on Friday night. This time the queues were long and as expected. When it was our time to order, they didnt have Arugula, the harissa beef(wait time for it was 45 minutes as they were cooking it), no avocados, and no tziziki sauce. My complain is why isn't there anyone checking on the serving lines and replenishing as needed. If one person was dedicated to this and don't let the servers run back and forth then maybe the line would move faster. Our server had to get these Arugula, and the server was scraping the container of the tziziki sauce. This is just poor management. Very disappointed in service. Unfortunately we wont be returning here.

Lousy customer service, food was cold. Not welcoming attitude servers. It was my first time there. Over price for cold food. I would not recommend this Cava restaurant to anyone looking for Vegetarian food, Mediterranean food. Don't waste your money.

When you order on line do not expect for your items to be ready at the time they give. Give it another 10-15 minutes. Also when you order online they give smaller portions. Staff, has the I don't care attitude when you address them on the matter.

This location always runs out of an ingredient or two. I’ve been here several times since they opened and I can never get my bowl with all of its original ingredients. I have to substitute at the very last minute. I guess that can explain the Long lines that move slowly.

This location is very poorly managed, the wait time for a pick up order placed on the app is always ridiculously long. I’ve waited over an hour after my confirmed pick up time and there was no apology or notice for the long wait. When I asked to cancel my order I was told they cannot refund you, the manager advised you had to email customer service for any issues related to the order which is even more inconvenience.

I gave this place a second chance. They have horrible service and the food is not worth the price. The orders are never ready on time and do not tell people when they’re out of items but will happily charge you for it.
