Chili Relleno burrito to go. It is delicious. Very fast friendly service. Learned of this place on line. Burrito is huge. I will be back soon!
They have homemade tortillas and tamales must call ahead and order a couple days prior but they are worth the wait
The El Rey Burrito was delicious! My husband and I shared it and it was perfect. French fries were nice, fresh and crispy. Even took home a dozen of homemade tortillas. Also, the Happy Hour bean and cheese burrito today (Wednesday) was $3.50 I believe. So good!!!
So glad to see this gem still going strong! Highly recommend! This gem has always had the best burritos in SoCal!
Great place, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming. I noticed the XL burrito was a nice size and the tortilla was not to thick and had a better than home cooked taste .. at least my home, lol. Today was my first of many visits. There are many video reviews check them out to see what catches your attention. I was not disappointed.
We drive all the way from OC to get the burritos. My favorite is beans, cheese, and onions. The hot sauce is fantastic, I wish they sold it by the gallon, lol 😆
What can I say about this place. Been coming here for 30+ years. By FAR the best Mexican food around. From their huge breakfast burritos to their delicious homemade tortillas.
The food is amazing. It was that quality taste that you look for. Everything tastes delicious and feels just like comfort food. One of the best places in the area, hands down.
I drove out here from Riverside. I ordered a carne asada taco, a chile relleno burrito, a Cali burrito, and a hot cheetos burrito. The taco wasnt traditional as it had lettuce however was flavorful. The chile relleno burrito was good, the Hot Cheeto burrito had no hot cheeto in it however looking at my recipt he may had entered it wrong. The Cali burritos was good. Over all the burrito were good size for the price. I ordered the smaller size ones. Drins are on the higher size of price for fountain and Horchata.
The food was great at first. The first of two enchiladas was juicy, and the green sauce tasted amazing blended together. The second enchilada was dry and lacked the green sauce. The beans and rice were good, I plated that for my daughter. The brown sugar shaken espresso was delicious, and towards the middle, I added me milk to soften the color. We also ordered three bean and cheese burritos. They size of the burritos were great. They tasted just as great I heard. The tiny bartistas made a great team, and I started following them on Instagram as well. Overall, the taste was great, and the texture was amazing. If the second enchilada could've replicated the first, I would rate it complete five stars. Once I mixed the beans and rice and enchilada together, it kept it moist. I will say that the cheese on top was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back to try other choices on the menu for myself and for my families appetite. Next time, I would love to go inside to dine in. Going through the drive-through was a little bit rushed, but I did go the safe route and stuck to a food I know.
Came in for the famous yucipan burrito 🌯 and it was really good the chili Colorado was super tender and had some great flavor the beans and rice were really good too as well as the guacamole nice fresh onions in it all-around a good burrito. Would definitely come back. They also have daily deals throughout the week got a super fat bean & cheese burrito 🌯 for only $2bucks Just wish they had some better salsa ( it’s kind of plan )
I grab two crunchy ground beef tacos, the first one, the shell was a little stale, a little hard to chew, how ever the second one was ok a little better I must say but almost the same condition as the first. Ground beef was well seasoned and had good flavor, I’m used to having these crunchy tacos everywhere else fill with cheese but in this occasion didn’t have much The hot sauce was delicious and very spicy which is a good thing nice and thick with flavor. I grab a medium drink which was $4.25 which is pricey for just using syrup mix for it Came on a Tuesday for the taco special but I’d say you get for what you pay $1.75. Stale and little to no cheese but it tasted good Atmosphere is cool, nice and quite nothing to shabby.
Where do I start when it comes to experience let's start off with walking into the place and the two ladies at the register no greetings at all. They were talking among themselves I had to break up there conversation so I can order. They said they would make fresh coffee I had to keep reminding them about my coffee finally got the coffee after almost finishing my plate. Now let's talk about the food it was so overrated they hyped it up so much on Facebook and Instagram it seem like it was left over from the night before that they didn't correctly warmed up. Maybe I was just expecting too much. Anyways I will not be back.
My family and I have been following this restaurant on Instagram for a while now. We frequently visit Yucaipa and decided today is the day we were going to go try this restaurant. The man at the register was so rude and pushy. Being that it was our first time we were trying to read the menu as there was nobody behind us. Every time we said what we wanted for one of us he would always end it with is that it anything else which I always say that is the rudest thing because it makes you sound like you are just rushing us like saying okay let's go keep going he could clearly see that we came in as a group of eight people. My mom asked him if they had anything that was decaf to drink he tells my mom again rushing her everything is decaf which I can clearly tell he didn't understand the question. He quickly says that they don't once he understood, she saw that they had a chile relleno burrito and said that she would like something that is not a burrito so she asks do they have something that is just a chile relleno plate he quickly points at a little board and says no that's all we have. It wasn't until right now that I searched them and I saw the menu and on a la carte it clearly states that they have a chili relleno ala carte. The food came and it was I would give a 6 on a 10 scale. The flavors were good but the way they make it sound like they are an authentic Mexican restaurant they are clearly not. We have never went somewhere that they claim are authentic and Order street style asada tacos and they put lettuce on it. That's not an authentic Street taco. Crunchy taco gas but not Street Taco with asada. Again the biggest takeaway was the man at the register rushing us and being rude.
Staff at register wasn’t very friendly. Feel welcomed when ordering not like I’m bothering you. Carne asada was so chewy and fatty and seemed like left overs, not fresh cooked meat that cost 2.50+ in a burrito that was already 10+ for beans cheese and rice. Disappointed in the overall service and quality of meat.
A bunch of people I know have raved about Rosie's, I want to know how much they were paid to shill for this place. They hail as the "best burritos in town" on their receipt, couldn't be farther from the truth. The burritos are subpar at best, borderline Taco Bell quality food just way bigger than what you'd get from a fast food place. Alberto's is way better in terms of quality and price, I should've gone there for lunch instead of trying this place out. The gobs of sour cream in the middle of my burrito really killed it for me, it wasn't evenly distributed and felt like I just ate a spoonful right from the tub. I had to get a bowl and mix everything together so it didn't feel like I was eating one ingredient at a time. If I wanted a mediocre burrito bowl I would've gone to chipotle. The tortilla felt limp, the rice tasted soggy, and the meat was okay.
One of my favorite spots in town but got this asada burrito and got it wet they put my burrito in a container full of liquid not even a sauce at all just oily brown liquid like a bone broth or something no flavor not spicy and it soaked my burrito, I called to ask if they changed the recipe and I was told no but they will check the sauce ....... cool cool for the next guy what about me and my meal now tho ? Wasted $15 one bite and went in the trash wasn't offered a refund or remake my burrito just told they will check on the sauce and okay ? Then hanged up
Been hearing about this place on social media so we drove over an hour. The guy who took our order super rude, paying attention to other people while we were ordering. Since we have never been there before we had a few questions, but seemed to bother him that we asked. The food was ok not worth the price and very little taste. The salsa was good so had to drench the food for flavor. More likely won't be going back.
I order a burrito when I got home it was big and fat. The burrito was filled with lots of beans and nice. There was hardly no meat. I order 3 burrito all the same spend $48 for beans and rice!. I call my bank for a full refund. Thank God American Express refund me 100 percent of the transaction. The restaurant a big scam don't go there.
Bit into burrito and found plastic inside. Ordered no onions and it was full of onions. Taquitos tasted like frozen store bought and guacamole tasted like nothing. We won't be back.
We ordered 2 El Ray burritos and unfortunately our experience was not good. My family became ill within 20mins and had food poisoning symptoms. This was concerning and not what I expect when dining out. I hope the restaurant reviews their food safety practices.
This was my first time eating from here and my last. Overpriced and not worth it. The workers are rude and lack decent hospitality/customer service. My food was a mess, there's beans all over everything and the portions are pretty small. Not to mention, their beans are super runny. I made sure to ask if there were straws in the bag and the lady assured me there was, but of course there was not and I wasn't going to go back to get some. Do yourself a favor and goto one of the many other Mexican food places in Yucaipa because this has to be the worst one. I recommend Acocotli on Bryant St.
