Tip: The location does not have plenty space for parking. It's a cute little bakery. Service is great. The homemade Chai latte is the best ever!! I asked for oatmilk.

A wonderful location in our neighborhood. We've driven past it many times, but we didn't realize it was created by local entrepreneurs. It's a very cozy place that hasn't lost its charm or cleanliness in two years. I liked the coffee machine; it looks very impressive. Now that the business has survived the road repairs and parking lot renovations, it's a safe bet for your next visit. We loved it and will definitely come back.
So delicious and beautiful pastries here. The team members were very friendly. Pretty and elegant bakery and coffee store to stay inside for the relaxing afternoon. Also, it has the isolated outdoor space to enjoy the sunlight. Love it and highly recommend.
I worked with Allison. This was one of the easiest most seamless processes I've ever experienced. Truly fantastic is an understatement. We setup a catering pick-up for 20 people. Food was FANTASTIC. Couldn't have been easier. These people are consummate professionals. Thanks to each and every one of you. Store is gorgeous.
Absolutely adorable. A modern Elle Woods must stop for coffee, solo or with the girls. Clean, refreshing aesthetic with soft touches of pink throughout. Delicious coffee (I tried the Iced Vanilla Shaken Espresso with regular milk) and while there was only one GF bakery item, it was the best GF banana bread I’ve ever found at a coffee shop/store. It was truly delightful and just the right size (not overwhelmingly large but satisfying). Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area. Tons of cute shops all around as well!
I have gone to sugar and sage many times for a wonderful pastry or breakfast taco followed by a Tea. The staff is welcoming and consistent in offering a great experience. I have recently gotten two catering orders of pastries and holiday treat. From the ordering process to the packaging, to the delivery of service was beyond expectation. They are willing to tailor to your individual needs and insure that all services are provided.
I’ve been to sugar & sage multiple times within the past year, and it has been my favorite place consistently. I drive 20 mins just to get their coffee, matcha, and delicious baked goods. Whoever created the vanilla shaken espresso or the bananas foster matcha literally has changed my life, they’re both so amazing. The gluten free banana bread and the kouign amann are also impeccable standouts here (although I’m sure anything you get would be fantastic.. they simply always get it right). On top of it all, I’ve always had such great and friendly service. I love this place so much!
Welcome to a true patisserie! Sugar and Sage isn't just a bakery; it's a high-end, sophisticated destination where every creation is an edible masterpiece. The vibe is refined and luxurious, perfect for a quiet indulgence. The Patisserie: The pastries are flawless. From perfectly laminated croissants to stunning tarts, the technique is exquisite, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. These are premium, artisan goods. The Coffee: Finally, a spot that takes coffee seriously! The espresso is robust, deep, and expertly extracted, providing a strong, invigorating complement to the delicate sweets. If you demand quality and appreciate the finer things, Sugar and Sage is the gold standard. A definite must-visit!
Although I was not lucky enough to visit this establishment in person, I was gifted one of their BEAUTIFUL cheesecakes. My goodness, not only was it lovely to look at , let me tell you... it was easily the best tasting, well balanced cheesecake I have ever enjoyed! Bakeries don't often get the recognition they deserve, but if you need a delicious cake or treats for an event... this is who you should call!
I enjoyed everything here… but the parking. Visited on a Sunday morning and I was pretty crowded. No available outdoor seating. Despite the amount of people we still found a seat indoor and got servers pretty quickly. It was clean and the pastries well organized. Self serve iced water and utensils were stocked. I wouldn’t study or read here because it’s too loud. Finding parking was almost impossible due to nearby construction. The cafe did their best and made reserved parking for their patrons. Keeping the 5 stars because once construction is done this place will be better!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sugar and Sage is truly a gem! From the moment my boss and I walked in for our very first visit, we were struck by the beauty of the space and the calming atmosphere. The scenery is amazing, and the warm energy of the place immediately stood out. What made the experience even more special was connecting with fellow first-time visitors, Amber and Jay, who echoed the same sentiment — this place is simply lovely. We also had the honor of meeting Allison, the owner, whose welcoming and humble presence shines through every corner of Sugar and Sage. Her warmth and kindness made us feel right at home. We are so proud of local businesses like this, and grateful to Allison for having the courage to bring her vision to life for everyone to enjoy. Sugar and Sage is more than just a coffee shop — it’s a place that brings people together. I’m so excited to bring my lovely wife soon so she can experience the same beauty and atmosphere we did. Highly recommend!
A most delightful place, indeed! My first visit was as pleasant as a gentle summer’s day, and I can scarce wait to return, perchance with some merry company. Sugar & Sage Bakery is the very ideal of refinement, perfect for romantic rendezvous, small gatherings, the scholar with quill in hand, or the soul who seeks solace with a book. ‘Tis a sanctuary of peace and aesthetic harmony. The space itself is gorgeous, and the coffee? Exceptional. I enjoyed both an espresso and a brown sugar sage latte, each a joy in its own right. I sat outside on their hidden yet beautiful patio, where I could savor my drink while their carefully chosen playlist set the perfect mood. Though I didn’t speak much with the staff, as I was ready to order, I found them to be kind and welcoming. I managed a quick glance at the back where the pastries are made, and it looked pristine. The interactions among the staff felt warm and genuine, like people who truly enjoy and take pride in their work. Next time I visit, I’ll be sure to try one of their pastries, and I’m sure it’ll only add to the charm.
Very much enjoyed my first visit to Sugar & Sage! They have lots of outlets indoors so it was nice to be able to sit and get some work done. Their danish and drinks were fantastic and the baker on shift was SO KIND to us. I personally appreciate how bright and open the space feels! I’d love to come back when the weather’s warmer to enjoy their back patio. Something to keep in mind is that they do close at 4pm! Another thing I noticed is they don’t consistently fill your drink up :( This wasn’t just on my drink but for other’s orders I observed as well.
I’m always looking for new coffee shops and bakeries especially cute ones and this place is super cute! It’s open, airy and definitely aesthetically pleasing. The team was friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed interacting with them. Now for coffee and pasties I tried the cinnamon roll pastry which was very tasty and I also had one of their fall drinks, the toasted marshmallow latte. I thought the latte was good but it wasn’t too much different from a regular latte and I do wish there was a marshmallow in it lol. The menu online does not reflect what pasties are in store but it’s a good selection. I would totally stop by again if in the area.
Really nice vibe, and the staff was great. I wanted a dipped sugar cookie, and for some reason they were taken to the back before I ordered and took a really long time to get it. The cookie itself was just okay, so not worth the wait haha. Come for the vibe, stay for the vibe, and get something to drink while you're there!
Overall a really good experience, was our first time visiting the bakery. Can’t give it 5 stars as they surprisingly don’t have Almond milk OR skim milk as options, haven’t been to many coffee shops that don’t have those as options. They have a fun, secluded outdoor area outback that was a great place to sit and chat.
Beautiful cozy interior design. Spacious. Can also see the kitchen and the delicious pastries being made. I ordered five different pastries and have yet to try them all. But looking how they sprinkle maldon salt flakes on this bacon and cheese scone shows kinda how much they really care about their pastries. In fact, this scone really reminds me of a quiche, very savory and delicious. For croissants, in terms of looks and aesthetics alone the benchmark for me in the U.S. is Jeannot's Patisserie & Bistro in Lafayette CO. I haven't tried the croissant yet but will update once I do.
I got a breakfast taco that was pretty good. Their salsa is tasty. My friend got a cinnamon roll and gave it to us cold without offering to warm it up. I ordered an iced latte with no specifications/changes and it was $8 for only 16oz. That just seems insane to me. It was cute on the inside but no one was friendly at all
I ordered via Uber Eats. I purchased the ham & butter baguette which was a complete waste of money. The baguette is a miniature one with 2 pieces of ham. It's horribly packaged where the ham wasn't even on the bread. The baguette has no crunch to it. Overall horrible and way overpriced. Next was a banana chocolate chip bread. This was reasonably priced although rather small when comparing it to the blueberry muffin which was around the same price. The bread though was very moist and tasted wonderful. The blueberry muffin was reasonably priced and a very good portion. This was also very fresh but tasted just ok. Very little if any blueberry taste and was very dark. More of a lemon taste and the icing diminished and the quality of the muffin. Both of the pastries were well packaged. Overall the pastries were good and would definitely get the banana chocolate muffin again as well as try other varieties but would most certainly never get the sandwich again or any sandwich for that matter or the blueberry muffin again.
The atmosphere is cute and aesthetic. The coffee was good was well. The customer service was ok. The girl at the register was short and blunt. Not a lot of enthusiasm from her. It was 10 am when we went in and there was a limited selection to choose from. The chocolate croissant was sad. Hollow with a sliver of chocolate. Overall ok
Aesthetically pleasing establishment with nice pastries - but watch out for the attitudes! I can appreciate that anyone can have a bad day - but the consistency with which the customer is treated as a nuisance at this place is borderline comical. Once again I received no greeting upon entering today nor was I acknowledged with a greeting when the red headed attendee finally approached the register to take my order. Instead I was questioned with “what can I get you?”. No problem… “do you guys have any almond croissants?”, to which I was scoffed at that everything is nut free. “No problem. One chocolate croissant and two banana bread, please.” No comment by the attendee, no “sounds good”, “great” or eye contact. She simply entered it into the tablet and swirled it around for me to leave a tip. She then proceeded to get my pastries, placed them in a box and handed them to me with no eye contact once again. Obviously there was no “thank you” or “come back soon” from her, or anyone else as I was leaving. For further context there was no one else in line and they were not busy. While I understand that people suck, this is a training issue by the owner. While I do not care too much for LaLaLand Coffee down the street, never have I not been greeted or received anything less than great and friendly service - which is the extreme opposite of the spectrum and not required either. All that I or most any other customer would request is that one does not go out of one’s way to be rude to the customers….
I walked in excited to see what they had to offer; I just finished a program and it's a bit of a ritual to find a local bakery/cafe afterwards. Me and my coworker friend walked in and were greeted with silence. Not the best, but we were still excited to see what was on offer. We stood around waiting for 5 minutes and not one person spoke to us, asked if we had been served, hell. Even acknowledge our presence. I don't know what anything tastes like because we were refused service, so I can't rate the food. The horrendous service made for quite an unwelcoming atmosphere, so those two get 1 star. I absolutely cannot recommend Sugar and Sage Bakery to anyone. I LOVE bakeries, and every one I visit always felt like a joy to be in. This is the first time I've ever been treated this way and the LAST time I'll ever step foot in that place.
