Thank you Fitts for a great meal, this was exactly what we needed after a long day of hard work. We really enjoyed this, it's basically a step above quality wise and atmosphere wise from Texas Road House. The food is excellent and the drinks are strong. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door and Fitts took great care of us through the whole meal. Next time we wanna split a steak and salad we will be back!

This was a random pick because we've been most other places near us. Best chance restaurant in a while. My husband's steak was amazing perfectly cooked and savory seasoning. My salmon was also grilled to perfection. I like it slightly more cooked than most fish places serve their salmon. The sweet potato fries were crisp but not crunchy and not soggy, very well executed in my opinion. The chips (warm) and salsa/guac were on point. There is a separate charge for guacamole FYI. Hubby got draft Dos a large is twice price as small. I got a Strawberry Punch had low key flavor and a lot of ice a little watery, not great not horrible. The customer was simply the best ever. Attentive but didn't hover. Never ran out drinks, almost immediately after finishing our dirty plates were removed like magic. Atmosphere was rustic country with a live fire and tvs playing fireplaces. Lighting provided a comfy and inviting atmosphere.

Such an amazing experience! The steaks & sides are DELICIOUS. Steaks cooked perfectly, sides were fresh & hot. Warm rolls & honey were fantastic. The jalapeno creamed corn is exquisite. Heads up, if you choose to order desert, the chocolate chip cookie desert takes about 15 mins, the cookies are baked fresh. The atmosphere is nice - beautiful paintings. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. Highly recommend this place - will DEFINITELY be back in the future

Great overall first impression! Came for lunch and it was pretty easy to get seated. Their pork chop was pretty delicious and the Texas Petite was perfectly grilled. Tried their potato skins, and they were good too. Staff were pretty friendly and kept up with us throughout our visit. Would definitely come back again.

I really didn't expect much, but the New York Strip was incredibly delicious. If you come here, I highly recommend you try it. Eating it with the vegetables and mashed potatoes made the meat taste even better. It was truly an impressive flavor.

I ordered the potato skins and a boneless ribeye with mashed potatoes and mushroom rice, the service was efficient and drinks were served quickly. The steak was cooked well and the mushroom rice was flavorful, the mashed potatoes were a bit bland and the potato skins could have used additional toppings/seasoning.

I traveled from New York to Texas and noticed this steakhouse while heading to Chili’s across the street. At first, we thought it was closed because it looked quiet, but we decided to try it and are glad we did. We were greeted by a very sweet young woman—her name was either Britney or Bridget—who was also our server. She made our experience wonderful, was very accommodating, and created a warm, cozy atmosphere. She even asked the chef to grill or fry our broccoli, which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside was that the restroom had a noticeable odor, which is the only reason for not giving a full five stars.

This was our first time trying Texas Land & Cattle. Service was great! I had the petite tenderloin & my husband had they chicken fried chicken. My steak was a bit tough, so much so that I had to saw through with the knife a bit. My baked potato was on the smaller side and it was a bit cold. You can tell when it's a fresh potato and this one seemed like it had been sitting in the warmer for a bit. I did not complain despite the server checking on us several times. The broccoli was tender but could have used a garlic butter or more seasoning. My piña colada was ok. My husband loved his chicken fried chicken, his whole plate was well seasoned all around. The happy hour was good for our appetizer as well. The warm bread was delicious. The prices for the larger steaks were a bit higher then similar style restaurants. They do not offer a soup or salad with your meal. There is an upcharge to substitute your sides. The restaurant was very clean.

First off 4 people on Saturday night should say everything. Salad was brown. Steak way over priced. Service look like it was their 1st week. They need to consider revamping everything. Big steakhouse should be line out the door on Saturday night. Not good. Won't last much longer this way.

We landed in Austin Texas around noon, by the time we got our rental and hotel room it was past 3 and we were starving. Our goal was to get our first Texas steak, we checked the surrounding area on google looking for positive reviews. We found this place.. (6 customers in the whole restaurant) $107 for 2 steaks and 2 drinks.. The steaks were decent, the mashed potatoes were cold and the "mixed veggies were soggy.. The margarita was strong and came in a cocktail glass. The mojito was honestly good 👍🏽 Wish my first Texas experience would have been a 5 star experience..

We had a party of 12 but the wait for the food and to get the checks was very long. There was several issues with getting the correct charges for the checks. Some cards were brought back witout being charged. The food on the other hand was delicious.

We visited Texas Land & Cattle in Austin, TX and the experience was just okay. I ordered the Texas Pick 3: Spinach dip, Texas wings with garlic parmesan, and TX potato skins, and a Sprite. The rest of the table ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, and garlic bread also a smoked sirloin with a baked potato and garden salad, along with a strawberry lemonade. While the food was okay and service was decent, nothing stood out enough to make me want to return. It was not bad, but in a city like Austin with so many great dining options, it would not be a place I will return.
