This Whataburger always does well. Their staff are obviously trained well, and supervised well. They always seem happy to see me, and eager to please. My orders are always correct, and fresh. I just tried their Cobb salad for my first time, and the jalapeno ranch dressing.... Excellent!! Who would have thought I could keep my Keto diet on track and still enjoy Whataburger! I've even had their burger without the bun - delicious!

This location is usually always busy but the food never lacks freshness. This is our go to for lunch or breakfast depending on which way we are going or the time of the day. Yes the lines are long in the drive thru but the lines go fast. Restaurant is always clean inside and always friendly staff.
Pro tip: substitute your regular breakfast biscuit with the jalapeno cheddar biscuit. Thank me later!

It’s Monday after the MNF and we were craving Whataburger. We exited earlier than we normally do and ended up going to a location we don’t typically go to, but I think it will be our new go-to. (We usually go to the one a few exits up by the outlets.) I don’t know his name, but he seemed to be maybe the manager because of how good he was. He took our order so politely and thoroughly, walked to Lane B with our drinks, went back for payment and returned with our food. Nicest man and even sold us on the anniversary cups. He has a beard, and I wish we would have gotten his name. We will be back soon to ask and to order more cups! :) “He” made our night!!!!

This is my normal Whataburger location. Mavis runs a great store…her staff always greets me warmly and the very few times I’ve experienced any issues they correct them quickly. Food is hot snd fresh and I love that they serve Coke Zero!!! Convenient and clean restaurant.

The place was packed and the service never wavered. The staff kept pushing out the food even when there was a rush of about 14 young athletes. Kudos to the staff and the young gentleman who cleans the tables and delivers the food. He has a heart of gold. I have been a frequent visitor to this location and it does not disappoint, online, inside and drive thru.
Excellent service!! I dont know their names but 2 employees helped me push my car yesterday after it died in the drive-thru lane- it was around 3 pm or so, maybe 4. My brother had no complaints about his fish sandwich, so I'm assuming it was pretty good! Honestly would not mind working in an environment like this if everyone there is that kind! 🎉🎉🎉
Every time that my family and friends come to visit this restaurant we have always been greeted with people who constantly go over the top in taking care of us. Very helpful in offering us whatever specials that might be available at the time as well as helping us with the whataburger app.
They are the best Whataburger in the city! This is the only one I go to. I pass up two just to get here. Their burger tastes completely different than other places! Highly recommend!
I don't usually find myself eating breakfast on this side of town, but today I stopped to grab my Veteran's Iced Coffee! I saw it advertised and thought, good deal. Since I got a free coffee, I also grabbed a taquito. All hit the spot! While the restaurant was really busy 10/11/2025 the food was on point, everyone on the Whataburger team was fast, friendly, and took care of everything. I'll have to try free iced coffees at all the Whataburger locations.
Came for brunch had breakfast and lunch was delicious service was impeccable we were helping by Adrian at the counter was very helpful and extremely polite 🙂 would recommend this location 💯 percent
The food was good as expected. Had an issue with the drinks unfortunately. I ordered 2 tea/ lemonades but they had 0 flavor. Took it back and they were remade with no issues.

Being from CA. I never heard of this place though my son has. I personally wanted to eat something else but he wanted to try this. FROM my point of view you canNot compare INNOUT to this place. Completely different. Though I'd was impressed w/ there #2 meal. Burger a double patty, good size burger 1 - 10 I'd give it a 7. The fries was a bummer! 1 - 10 a 3, only thing going for that was their salt. Most def... it's not InnOut, but good in it's own right.
Great service & Great food! Only complaint is tables not cleaned for next visitor. And flies..that is major turn off! There definitely were plenty employees on hand this Saturday morning. Manager was there but ? Maybe her priorities and attn were elsewhere. We didnt enjoy our morning date while waiting on my vehicle to get tires.

Stopped inside for breakfast and to visit The Bull radio staff. Clean environment. Amy the cashier was very kind and professional. Plenty of staff working. My only complaint... it took over 10 mins for a simple combo "to go" and there was not a line of people ahead of me. I appreciate quality but, a sense of urgency is equally important. Thanks for a fresh meal and being part of "Fiesta Friday".

Very good Whataburger location in Cypress. The staff is outstanding. The dining area & restrooms were exceptionally clean and sanitized. The Manager came over to my table and asked me if everything was okay. I don't believe I've ever had a Manager come up to me at my table in all my experience eating at a Fast Food restaurant. 👍👍
Food is good but 3 times I've been on the drive through where they've gotten my order wrong every time.
Went through drive through. Service was OK. They were not grouchy but they were not all smiles either. The French fries where cold and floppy. Not with it at all. I was wishing I had gone to McDonalds for hot French fries.
If there is one thing I expect at Whataburger… it’s a slow drive thru. This location is your typical Whataburger, so you can expect to sit in line longer than you want.
Whataburger use to be good not anymore I got a regular fried chicken sandwich and I couldn't even bite into the chicken it's too hard
Ordered biscuits and gravy combo and a honey butter chicken biscuit. After waiting 15mins I started to get out of my van to go inside and check on my food. Line attendant told me my food was on its way, and I asked “are we sure”. Guess she didn’t like my question because when she came back with my food I heard her saying “talk to me like that” with attitude and a grumpy face. Got my food and left, From ordering at 9:51 it took 16mins to complete and deliver my food to the drive through lane b. Gotta work on at speed and if the lane attendant really did have an attitude.
Food is, as usual, mediocre ever since whatever happened to Whataburger. More importantly, they’ve messed up another order, they’ve forgotten any requested sauces and napkins. Thanks you guys I’ll use the ketchup in the fridge and my sleeve to wipe my face.
I don't know what it is about this particular Whataburger, but they just can’t seem to get the fries right no matter how many times I ask. It's always the same story—lukewarm, limp, and far from the crispy, golden fries you’d expect. I’ve even tried emphasizing that I want them fresh, hot, and right out of the fryer, but somehow they always miss the mark. It's disappointing because everything else is usually on point, but the fries? They never quite live up to the standard, and it leaves me walking away wishing they'd put just a little more effort into getting them right.
Wait times are alright. Came in around 11:05 , wait time was around 35 minutes which is kind of normal for me coming in so late. Asked for a sweet and spicy bacon burger with lettuce pickles and tomato’s, but they forgot the lettuce pickles and tomato’s. Everything else is alright I guess, probably better off going to another whataburger though because if they are messing up orders at 11PM when there’s no customers then they are probably messing up orders even more at rush hours lol
Drive thru is all down the parking lot. Cashier says 6 called in today. Everyone looks confused. Saturday night and Sunday at noon. Not enough employees to cover the shift. Not accustomed to waiting 45 mins for my fast food. Cashier did not ring up my order correctly. Just disappointed at this Whataburger location. Need to fire the ones that don't show and get some qualified candidates. Terrible job.
No matter how many times we come here, they take forever! Or something is wrong with the order. Usually I don’t pay it any mind. Tonight was a little different though. We get to drive thru B and it took forever for someone to greet us. Then once she does, she says give me a minute but never came back. Why is the place always malfunctioning??? Get a better team! If you don’t want to come to work then don’t. No matter what time of day it is the staff is terrible.
Service is the slowest here. It never fails. Expect to be in line for at least 30 minutes. The one down fry is way faster.
Service was VERY slow for a simple order, but the employees were very nice. Atmosphere was fine and it seemed clean, but we noticed a lot of flies. Our burgers were both fine. I love that you can get the onions grilled, but wish there were more pickles. (And yes, we requested extra.) Not displeased with this location in particular, I've just noticed that all Whataburgers seem to be pretty slow even when you order ahead through the app.
Slow slow slow. I don’t know why but this palce seems to prioritize drive thru. People are sitting on the restraint for 20-30 min waiting on a burger and fries , saw one guy finally give up and get a refund. It’s 2pm it’s not even lunch rush Finally get my order and there no fries in the bag. Doesn’t seem like anyone is a leader here and is taking charge of things up front
Possibly the worst location for food in the area. By far can NOT get the order out in time. It said your order will be ready for pickup at 9:58….. here I am writing this at 10:20 still waiting for chicken strips. McDonald’s is around the corner with better food, service and will actually deliver curbside TO YOUR CAR. I am waiting inside as they can’t seem to get anything correct.
If you place a curbside be prepared to wait 15 minutes past pick up time
Food is always a long wait no matter if it's full or empty especially at nights take 35mins for. #8 and then fries all cold then they take another 20 mins for my fries after I ate my burger this Whataburger is no good
If I could give zero stars I would. 10:30 at night on a Thursday. Not even peak demand. I ordered my food after waiting in line for ten minutes. 45 minutes go by stuck in the drive through and my food still has not come out. I get to the window to pay and they ask me to pull forward to wait longer. After another 10 minutes a lady comes out and asked what my order was. Been waiting so long I almost forgot what it was. She then goes back inside for ten minutes. Comes back out with our food and I leave. Shame on me for not checking. They didn’t even have my order in the bags. I only got half of my order. 2 meals. And 2 onion rings. That’s it. The fries for the meals were ice cold. The burgers ice cold. Can’t comment on the onion rings because we never got them. It would have been quicker for me to apply for a job, learn the job, wait for the schedule to be made to see when I work, then cook my food, and then finish my shift to go home and eat it.
ZERO STARS! I didn't check my order when I drove off from the drive-thru, but I didn't think I had to! Ordered 2 meals and got only the burgers and drinks. Didn't receive the additional order of OR! Employees need to check orders before handing them out! You may not enjoy your job but you chose it!
Waited over 20min for two taquitos and a honey butter chicken biscuit. They also then forgot my hash brown. Not to mention flies were landing on me and their ice machine was broken and just dumped ice nonstop. Will never go back to this location.
This location. I won’t be back until it’s shutdown fumigated and reopened as well as everyone of my friends and family. The word is out, roaches.
I have been coming to buy at this place for year I lived in the Cypress area for over 30 years... I don't know if management has changed...places a to go order in the diner it took them 25 minutes to give us cold burgers... Questioning how long the burgers had been seating out in order for them to be cold.. . One of the Burgers was missing from my order and one employee instructed the other to grab the burger from the counter. I recommend the Whataburger on 290 in Jersey Village are and on Fry Rd better serve your order will be served as expected warm/hot meal... The sticky floors should have been the first sign of the service I was about to receive. I've been busy at this place for years and it has never been this unorganized or filthy...
Waited 25 minutes for an order of breakfast taquito and 1 order of biscuit and gravy. Still got my order wrong and made me late to work. When they can't get a simple order done with just 2 cars in the drive thru. Needs better management

Don't believe Google's live when deciding if there's a line at the drive thru or inside. You'll be waiting forever in line to get your food. This is not the first time I made this mistake either which is stupid on my part. I figured after a year in between it would be better. Nope!

I don’t even know what this means?? They are closed for hood cleaning?? lol WHAT It’s 1 AM and I came to get whataburger but it says they are closed inside and the drive way. Idk bout yall but I have NEVER seen a whataburger closed. Not to mention the workers are just on their phone sitting in the dinning area.
Foods good, and workers are fine. But why does it take 30 minutes every time I go for one small burger? Also every time I go the sodas are flat and when told management does nothing. I spent my entire 30 minute lunch waiting on my food and for drinks to be replaced. I now have no time to eat the food I ordered.
Took 30 minutes for food to come out. When it did we had wrong items and were missing items. The burgers that did get delivered tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. Not impressed and would not recommend.
Stopped by with kiddos to grab something quick. Worst mistake spent 30 min on 3 kids meals and a burger and still nothing people kept coming in and out and getting food . When approached to asked they said it was placed on warmers by accident. They said it was still good. Burgers were like warm at best receipt 🧾 clearly specific dine in .yet wanted me to eat cold food when asked for a refund they suggested a remake instead so nearly 50 minutes to get a quick meal with hungry kids. Worst Whataburger experience ever.
Takes FOREVER to get food at this location. Cant be considered fast food when it takes 40 mins to get one breakfast sandwich at 9:30 on a Sunday. Ended up having to leave without our food.

Order was not ready until 27 mins after the pick up time. I could have done 2-3 deliveries in that time. Got dinged on my tip & rating as a result. Declining deliveries from this location every time now.
Foods cold more times than its hot & fresh. Service from the 2 ladies are aren't helpful. I now go out of my way to go to the Fairfield location but it might be owned by the same people.
Don't get me wrong I love whataburger but this location is not up to par with many other locations. The staff is rude, the wait times are horrendous, and the food preparation is mediocre. I will drive extra to avoid this location from now on.
We waited for our food in the drive thru for 40 minutes. FORTY MINUTES...for one meal and a kids meal!! We pulled right up to the speaker to order, there was not a line there. When they finally brought our food out, we mentioned how long we had been waiting. Instead of at the very least, an apology, the kid responds with "I can't control that" and walks off. And I guess my fries were sitting in a bag that whole time bc they were cold. We would've 100% left without our food if we could've gotten out of line, but you are literally trapped there when in the drive thru with others.
I love whataburger, always great service. Except this location, drive through line is 20-40 minute wait at anytime of the day. Cashiers will pocket extra cash. Paid 20 bucks today, for a number 20 whatameal. Which was 8.77. I received only .23 cents.
Terrible service. Came inside and after waiting a few minutes she said she would be right with me. Waited a bit more at which point more customers walked in and she took his order right in front of me. I told her I was in line and she didn’t even have a clue, called the manager in the parking lot and she did apologize and said come thru the drive thru we’ll make it for you, all I wanted was 1 sandwich. I’m thinking at this point this SHOULD be complimentary after watching a guy get his order taken right in front after I had been waiting for a while, wait 15 minutes in the drive thru just to be told that I have to pay and wait. Immediately left and went to Popeyes and got a sandwich in 3 minutes. That’s all I wanted! I won’t be going back anytime soon.
This place supposedly shuts down the right side of their drive thru at some point in the evening, but they fail to communicate this with customers and actively ignore the right side as they only take the left side. I was skipped 3 times before, and the small acknowledgement I had was someone taking my side saying wait and then proceeding to take the other drive thru. Infuriating and I took my business else where. You ought to work on communicating with people to pull around and go to the other drive thru at the very least.
I think the picture says a thousand words on the quality this location provides. A few pieces of lettuce, cold burger, cheese looking like its been on a counter for a few days. Who ever is on the back making the burgers should get additional training. This makes me so mad that I want to go back and throw the burger onto the windows so it can slowly slide and smear the window and hopefully with the solid cold fries break it. This is ridiculous and I honestly feel the quality went down the drain since it got bought out by someone in BDT Capital .... smh 2 thumbs down
WARNING!! HEALTH HAZARD!! I am by far disgusted with this place. Ordered a unsweet ice tea… and I took a sip and saw something floating. When I pulled it out with a fork out came a huge thing of slime. I immediately started gagging. Not only is this a health hazard and disgusting I am also pregnant. Not to mention they forgot the gravy in every single box of the three tender meals I ordered. But that’s not worth a review. It’s the mold for me. Do not eat here. They obviously don’t follow health protocols. They aren’t cleaning their machines and changing out the tea daily so I’m sure that goes for the coffee as well. Who knows what else is growing and happening in there. Sad that me and my family with kids have been eating from this location for over a year now. This is the first time I’ve ordered a tea. Will not be eating here ever again. Will be posting on yelp as well.
She had attitude when I asked for lemon pie then she replied "out of lemon!" Walking way then I immediately requested, any other pie? Anyways I had to walk back inn to the establishment for a missing apple pie.
I’ve been coming to this specific location for years now & I’ve noticed a shift in lower quality service as far as speed & accuracy. Prices have gone up & the quality of the food & service has gone not even slightly down…but waaaaay down. I want to keep coming back because I’m a huge fan of the establishment but with the direction and quality of the restaurant not just this specific location but majority of the restaurants in Houston. Hopefully 2026 changes happen to keep customers like me & many others to keep coming back in the future
For fast food this place is slow. I MEAN REALLY SLOW. Clearly management does not have a strong presence at this location. Sitting inside the restaurant waiting forever while four of the staff are sitting in a booth laughing and cutting up. Crazy.
Well it started of with me going thru the drive thru. The person helping me was not an English speaker. I had to repeat my order multiple times and somehow still got it wrong. Quality was really the worst. Some how they burned every single fry in mine and my daughters meal. So burnt that they snapped in half. Also my kid has issues with lactose. They put cheese on her meal. They gave us a tea with no ice and the tea was hot. I think if they hired English speaking Americans who speak clear this may not have happened. Maybe #ice should check this place out. Also the smell coming from service window was so foul. This place needs to be audit by corporate. I plan on going to the top with this and I'm doing my part to contact ice.
The time from ordering your food to getting to the window to pay and get your food is entirely too long. I waited over almost 20 minutes in line just to get my food. A time before that I couldn’t even get my order taken at the other drive thru speaker even when they have a sign that says both lanes are open. Worst What-A-Burger I have been too and experienced in TX.
