I had a wonderful experience at The Golden Grillers. The service was exceptional and the establishment is clean and smells so good. The staff is so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of their menu. Sean my server so sweet and delightful he helped me put order together.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully balanced flavors. You can truly taste the care and passion behind each plate. Everything was well-presented and delicious from start to finish. A wonderful culinary experience that I would highly recommend.

Landed in the JFK airport, which is located in southside Jamaica Queens, and I was starving! I was looking for some places nearby with good ratings even though I don’t trust all the Google reviews, but this place was a 4.9 for that much reviews, somethings got to be up. Before I order the gentleman was nice enough to offer samples of jerk, chicken, and house special chicken, and they both were delicious so we ordered both Jerk Chicken- had a hint of sweetness with the jerk spice, didn’t taste traditional, but I still enjoyed it and Wood ordered it again especially for someone who doesn’t want too much jerk heat House Special Chicken- best way to describe this is it taste like mild hot sauce with curry seasoning, what a wonderful mix, that’s not forget the diced tomatoes, onions, cucumbers (kind of reminded me of pico de gallo minus the cucumbers) which was a refreshing balance to the mild heat of the dish, comforted by the bed of basmati yellow rice, ordered the avocado with it as well because I knew it was going to set it off! Jerk Chicken Tacos- clever twist, luckily this was considered a side dish for me because I can eat this in two bites Fried Chicken Quesadilla- my daughter had this, but she couldn’t finish so I decided to have the honors to finish it for her, as simple as this dish sounds, it’s not, the quesadilla was perfectly crisp, and the fried chicken itself was so buttery and crunchy, you could tell they changed their fryer oil on the regular or they use some type of special oil because I felt less guilty from the clean taste Sauces - I forgot what they were, but one was like chipotle, the other one was like honey mustard with a touch of mango (I could be mistaken, but do yourself a favor and pour this on the chicken quesadilla), last, but not least the cilantro lime, which I drought everything with Ladies and gentlemen, these people have earned their 4.9 stars and should be five, everything they can cooked is with effort and I’m glad they save my starvation, so when you get off the airport and you like Halal food, this is where you go!
I had a great experience at Golden Griller. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. I especially want to recognize Crissy—she was friendly, patient, and made sure everything was perfect. Her customer service really stood out and made the visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back
First things first customer service was amazingggg from the moment we walked in Sean was great he offered us samples being that it was our first time here. Now to the food, food was delicious & fresh definitely will be returning to try other items . I ordered the jerk chicken platter & added on plantains & avocado it was chefs kissss

The jerk chicken platter was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy on the inside with just the right amount of char on the outside. The jerk seasoning was flavorful and well-balanced, bringing a smoky heat that wasn’t overpowering. The sides complemented the chicken nicely and rounded out the meal. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Definitely a platter I’d order again and recommend to anyone who enjoys bold, authentic flavors.
Big ole portions - we had just got off a 6-hour flight from Portugal and were starving so we each got a platter each. We were stuffed. Got the grilled and crispy chicken platters with plantains and spicy white sauce. So flavorful, great textures. The crispy chicken was our favorite. They also have a huge selection of giant cookies. You get your money’s worth and can serve your sweet tooth at the same time.
I don’t usually go too crazy for Halal spots, but this place is definitely an exception! The jerk chicken was amazing—flavorful and cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back! I also tried their red velvet cookie, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
It’s a nice local alternative to the fast food joints that are rising in price lately. I do recommend just going in person since its simpler to get your food that way or getting delivery, since they seem to have issues receiving orders for pickup, and my order was marked ready despite not even being started on. Getting chicken sandwiches in person nets you a good price, can’t really say much for the others, but price for a burrito combo was a bit less reasonable (around $15 or so), but that’s just from my perspective. The staff are pleasant, and the men that work to cook the food make good time, especially the one with dreads and glasses, he was a pretty cool dude, worked 2x as fast to get my pickup order ready.
Shawn was a great host and the food is amazing. First time but sill definitely be the perfect late night spot.
Ok sooooo my dad and I found this little spot during some late night work and was able to get a sample before they closed and boy when I say it was delicious I mean it with each and every tastebud I have ( my dads also lol 😆). The sample included jerk chicken with garlic, cilantro, and Goldens house made sauce which was simply perfection in flavor and texture and their fried fish (whiting) which was so crisp but melted in my mouth which filled with flavor of cilantro and golden sauce. Definitely gonna return the following day and update this review stay tuned 😉 ps-added a selfie cause I’m cute 🥰
I just stumbled upon their food and gotta say it’s absolutely amazing. I got the jerk platter, the chicken was extremely flavorful, the rice was perfectly cooked and I was recommended the golden sauce which is absolutely phenomenal, go check them out, great people, great food and they also have a nice little dine in area with nice comfy couches. Their high rating is absolutely deserved!!

The food was to die for!! Flavorful, fresh and perfectly cooked. The interior was beautiful, and so welcoming. The service was amazing, the staff were friendly and offered suggestions on the menu- which was so helpful! Highly recommend if you’re in the area!!!
Shout out to the cashier man… he was extremely nice and generous and let me and my buddy sample some of the chicken. Place is amazing and the prices are good for what you get and portion size is amazing. I would definetly come back here again. The jerk chicken and house chicken is off the hook with the garlic sauce (green sauce) wings were good and the patty’s are amazing. Would def come back here.
The garlic parm jerk fries and the classic tenders are sooooo good! The salmon bites are on point right along with the jerk chicken tacos! 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend! And the golden sauce that was used is just INSANE! Will be coming back!
Update: Also tried the spicy chicken sandwich from this place recently and I thought it would be a generic sandwich that you could get at most places nowadays but I was wrong. The chicken in the sandwich was big, fried nicely and had a great amount of taste with a hint of spice. For $7, the chicken sandwich was GOOOOOOD. This place fails to disappoint me Had the jerk chicken quesadilla and jerk chicken over Parmesan fries. The quesadilla was delicious and although it's hard to mess up a quesadilla, these guys definitely didn't disappoint. The jerk wasn't really spicy at all but it did have a nice flavor. The jerk chicken over fries was the same story, not spicy but very good. There was a good portion of meat and the meat itself was very tasty, not to mention the sauces that made the food even better. I can't remember most of the sauces I got but I did get the jerk sauce on the food and it was wonderful. The prices weren't even too bad, $11 for the jerk chicken over fries and similarly for the quesadilla. My only gripe was that I felt they actually put too much Parmesan on the fries as you just have this buildup of Parmesan at the bottom of the box, almost like clumps of it. Nonetheless, I'll definitely be coming back here, 10/10 food
Met up with a colleague that was flying out of JFK and wanted to get some good food before he took off. Googled this place and decided to give it a try. I’m really glad we did, because this is a real hidden gem. The attendant was very patient as we went over the menu being that this was our first time and he even gave out recommendations on what to get. I decided to get the jerk chicken burrito. I can’t lie. This is one of the biggest burritos I ever had. The jerk chicken mixed with whatever sauce they put in it was so so good. I couldn’t even finish the whole thing. Also the fries taste good as well. I usually put ketchup on them, but the attendant Suggested that I need to put their special sauce on my fries. I was real hesitant at first, but he only put a little on one of my fries and asked me to try it before I decided to use ketchup. Honestly, I might just come back just to get that sauce to put on all my french fries from now on. I definitely recommend coming back to this spot and make sure you bring your appetite with you too.
The atmosphere as I walk in was great. The scent of the food that hit me was pleasing...I smiled and loved it! I got the spicy chicken sandwich and the cashier/cook was pretty helpful and patient. I loved it and it was a great experience. The spicy chicken sandwich was the bomb and those fries were one of my best fries I ever had!
I ordered through GrubHub w/priority, it only took 20 mins or so. The jerk chicken had a bright bowl taste to it with a hint of smoke. To be honest I was expecting a little bit more spice especially because I ordered extra jerk sauce. Next time I'll be adding extra meat as there was a lot of rice. Overall, excellent flavor and I can't wait to try all the different sauces. This place is a "Go to" the next time I visit New York.
The guy taking our order was difficult and frankly pretty bitchy. I paid $13 for an order of tacos and I upgraded to the combo for an extra $4. I asked for an extra taco which I was willing to pay for and was told I couldn’t pay extra for an extra taco and that I had to order either a separate order of tacos or just not get the extra taco. Last time I came the guy that served me was so cool and the guy that sells the cookies is great to but this one guy was determined to make my experience a negative one. SMH we left feeling pretty sour about the place after that experience. SMH another one bites the dust. I’ll come back possibly once he is no longer there.
