Call Me Pasta is a popular takeout spot known for its fresh, homemade pasta and friendly service. The pasta is considered better than many restaurants, especially for the price. Limited seating and occasional unpredictable hours are drawbacks.

Pasta very fresh
Quick authentic italian fares.
The Alfredo was delicious
I love it this place
The pasta was SO fresh!
Wonderful place. Very nice stuff. And veeeeryyyyy delicious pasta. Highly recommend
Amazing place, one of a few that still work during the pandemic and even have dine-in. Delicious!
So glad to see them open again. Was missing my favorite bolognese sauce in the city
Love the food. The atmosphere is very serene, and the price was great!
Four of us has four different dishes and we'll most certainly be back!
Take out fresh pasta place. Fabulous and fast!
Fresh, reasonably priced, delicious.
Quality pasta, fun sauce combinations, and quick service.
Great local spot with delicious pasta at an affordable price
Pasta one of my best from all!
Found you on Google and it was great. Pasta was perfect.
Delicious! & super staff. Michael is great!
Delicious pasta... a good price..
Loved the rigatoni with vodka sauce!
Smaller portions but great pasta. Would highly recommend. They are on MealPal as well and you can get a pretty good discount on their daily options.
Went out for Thai but it was closed, so went around the corner to try this place which I have walked by a million times and never went in. We ordred Tonnarerlli Cacio & pepe and Grandma prescription. IT WAS AMZING !!!! good size portion and a good price . I will be back.
Well made pasta at a solid price, with great service. I'm happily tasting my way through the menu.
Great and simple pasta place. Pasta is well priced. The sauce sticks to the noodles and was very creamy.
For now (June 2023) one of the best pasta I tried in NYC. Better than most of expensive restaurants.
This is literally restaurant quality food because it is the kitchen that produces the pasta for the main restaurant so you're getting restaurant quality food at factory discounts
Amazing pasta for take out or casual order at the counter and dine in. Just what this area needs! Authentic, trendy, delicious!
I had the meatball pasta with pomodoro sauce - really good portion size and affordable for the area!
One of the best pasta I ever tried! Pasta so good that it made me higher 🌱
This is definitely a hidden gem! Amazing food! Awesome friendly staff! 100% recommended!
Great pasta, super friendly staff, AMAAAAZING profiterol dessert. Whoever can have a lunch break there can consider himself very lucky
Cacio e Pepe is amazing but the tiramisu is unreal! Definitely recommend
Delicious pasta, super cute place, affordable and well sized portions! You get bread with your order and all the pasta is made in their kitchen right in front of you. The pasta is very high quality, I'd much rather buy pasta here than at some expensive restaurant. If you are in the are you should 100% check them out.
Amazing pasta. Takeout only, all made fresh in house and the dishes itself feel like ones you get at a top hip Italian restaurant. $15 for fresh pasta cooked perfectly is a steal.
It was late and I was starving and walked upon this cute restaurant. I had the Alfredo noodles with bread and it was SO good! I visited during COVID so there no to limited seating inside but I'd love to visit again now that they world is opening back up. Such a cute cafe, love the theme and bright colored decor! The staff were very friendly and helpful as I never been before and couldn't decide. Will def be back! <3 thank you Call Me Pasta!
This place was so yummy I got the spaghetti Cacio de Pepe with chicken and mushrooms 10/10. FYI: The place only has two chairs unfortunately but was fine for my boyfriend and I! Definitely returning :)
I went here for take out, and let me tell you AMAZING. delicious, fresh, fast and fresh. I ordered fettuccine with vodka sauce and they give you cup of cheese (could’ve been more in there but I love cheese soooo) and 2 pieces of focaccia bread. I ate literally my whole plate and the bread. I was stuffed! Al dente which I was surprised but so happy with and the sauce had flavor! Fresh sooo fresh. My new lunch spot! Because the price is perfect!
Consistently good quality and delicious. Really enjoy their Alfredo sauce and they give so much chicken too. Think the price point is reasonable for what you get. Would recommend!
Best pasta hands down. Alfredo with diced chicken and mushrooms is my favorite. Grandma's spaghetti with red sauce and three large meatballs is my second favorite. Customer service is none to beat. Highly recommend!
Wow. Amazing fresh food made right in front of you. Great portions and price too. Highly recommend!!
Listen: SO GOOD! Everything was on point - the pasta (had cacio e pepe with veggies), the meatballs and the customer service. The food was delicious and the portions are big! The lovely guy who served me was so kind and friendly. I will be back for sure! 🍝
Best pasta ever !! Sounds like Stravinsky is AMAZING! All I do is eat pasta and this is the best pasta I ever tasted I order it whenever I can.. sadly I’m moving back to Long Island I wish they would open a store in Long Island they would be GREAT in Long Island. Will miss you hope you open a location near me ❤️
Fantastic! I used to order online and the pasta was always amazing. Now it’s probably my fav spot in fidi. They have many options but I absolutely recommend the cacio e pepe and the Ragu bolognese even if it’s around $2 more. I would recommend to go early because from 12:30pm to 2:30pm it’s super busy.
The fettuccine alfredo with broccoli and chicken was amazing. The chicken was abundant, tender and flavorful and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend if you love pasta!
As tasty as you want it to be.. choose from many extra add-ons. You can get minimalist pasta dishes here if you want. The pastas btw taste like they're homemade.
This is a take out only pasta shop that’s close to where I live, and it was my first time checking it out. I ordered the call me alfredo pasta and added grilled chicken ($3 extra) and mushrooms ($2 extra). There is an option for extra portion for an additional $2. The noodles were on the wider side of a fettuccine which I didn’t mind at all. You can tell the pasta is homemade. I liked how it wasn’t overly sauced and the grilled chicken and mushrooms were seasoned well and flavorful. It also didn’t take that long for it to be ready. Overall the pasta dish was delicious! Will def be back to try the other pastas.
Best pesto pasta ever. Great for delivery, and the chicken is thin sometimes & pretty good quality 👍🏼
A little hidden gem in Downtown, This place is amazing, it is just for knowledgeable people that understans how to appreciate great italian cuisine. So do not expect for a fancy, romantic, silverplate place, this is like been in your italian aunt's kitchen and she's cooking only for you, no place to dine in, you are "in the kitchen", watching how the pasta is made for you. The prices are really low for the quality of food that you get there, ok it is a take out only, but trust me, you will love your meal. It is hand made pasta made to order, and once you try it is like a burst of flavors and textures in your mouth. Team is very fast and friendly ready to to take care of you and give you the best they have. This place is a must, don't miss it!!!
Absolutely loved the experience at Call Me Pasta! Attention was fantastic, and the food was even better! We had the Spaghetti Pomodoro, Gnocchi Ragu, and Cavatelli Vodka. All were truly great tasting and perfectly sized portions. Pasta was al dente, sauce had great taste (only thing I would've changed is mixing the chicken with the sauce a little bit more)... Really couldn't ask for more. Definitely wouldn't hesitate coming back if we're in the area and wanting some great home made pasta.
Damn good pasta meal. When you need to satisfy a pasta craving but don’t want to pay $25+ for a plate in a restaurant this place is the one. Had the Cacio De Pepe and it was great. Hit the spot and was so satisfying with its cheesy flavor. Cool place with 0 seating inside.
I order from Call Me Pasta more often than my doctor would like… but I have little self-restraint when it comes to pasta this great. I’ve had nearly all sauce options, each consistent with off-the-charts flavor especially for a takeout restaurant! The staff is always friendly, accommodating, and quick. Definitely ask for a side of fresh focaccia, you won’t regret it!
Made my own: cavatelli with cacio e pepe with broccoli and mushrooms. Pasta was tender and tasty, sauce was excellent, veggies shouldn't be that expensive but they were well cooked and good proportions. Cute store, bit of a wait time with limited seating but that's the price for fresh pasta :)
Came in here because it was around the corner from the hotel simply out of convenience. Great value. Nothing could have been better. Everyone was very friendly. Very casual. The pasta was as good as it possibly can be. Very obviously made from scratch.
Friendly service, quick prep, and decent food. I'd recommend the chicken fettuccine alfredo. Great for a quick, home cooked pasta meal.
I had the “Grandma special & Parmesan with chicken” it was amazing. That I couldn’t even wait to take a picture! Great staff - HYBAR Dispensary

Favorite pasta in NYC I ALWAYS think about it when I’m not here and it’s my first stop when I visit
Pasta is better than most restaurants for a price that is just a bit cheaper (~$17 for a bowl with chicken). You don't get any crazy choices for sauces or whatever, but it is all pretty good. Staff was very friendly. Food takes about 10 mins to make

Staff mixed up my order, only realized it after I had left. Pesto was super yummy though.
Tasty food, quick service, small portions
Food is great from ubereats
I really want to give them 5 stars, but the portions are just a bit too small and the prices too high. Food is delicious though. If they could fix this it'd be perfect.
The food here was not only good but affordable too! The prices were surprisingly low. The staff was amazing too. They were so sweet!
Interesting little place. There was 7 of us and they did gave 10 seats. Very small and most get the food to go. The food was really good.
Was Visiting and saw this place walking in the financial district and it was amazing food, homemade pasta, friendly customer service, a little pricey but I understand being homemade pasta
First time. The pasta itself is delicious. I ordered with broccoli and they only have me a few pieces, I wish they were more generous. Very friendly staff, looking forward to trying other dishes from here.
It is a great new find of a take out place for pasta. The food is fresh and made to order. The bread is to die for. It really needs 4.5 stars not 4. One glitch is I'm still a tad hungry, but maybe that's because I liked it so much.
My go-to neighborhood pasta take out but their opening hours is sometimes unreliable
Pretty good pasta (above average) compared to restaurants. Only available for take out service was relatively quick. The pasta texture has a nice bite which makes it feel homemade. Tried four of the sauces favorite is definitely the pesto which is on the thick side with almonds sprinkled on top. They are open only during the week days.
Very cute place and super delicious home made pasta. The only thing is they charge you for bread and cheese without letting you know so the bill ends up being pretty high for a small portion of pasta. This can be upsetting to some. I was pretty full but I don’t need to eat too much food in general. They have different types of pastas and sauces as well as extra yummy stuff. It’s worth the money.
The pasta was delicious! The sauce was so creamy and yummy, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Cool vibe and friendly service. However, I took off a star because the portions are small and the prices are high.
Nowhere to sit inside, a few tables outside! Pasta definitely tasted homemade. The Alfredo sauce was AMAZING. Pesto was a bit too nutty and earthy for my taste. A nice place to stop in if you’re in the area! The bolognese was also nice.

My go-to neighborhood pasta take out but their opening hours is sometimes unreliable
I had higher expectations. Because the sign said "homemade" pasta I thought it would be special. Frankly my own homemade is better and I use buitoni.
I was so excited to come back to have some pasta unfortunately when I arrived the doors were locked and was told they won’t open til 5. I tried knocking to ask how come but the guy just looked at his phone ignoring me. So sad to be treated that way and that the hours aren’t updated to 5pm. I had to walk back to work on my break empty handed because the trip there took up my time. Won’t be going back if the hours aren’t updated.
My post is not about the food, but about the fact that it’s hard to find information about the location. I’m unclear about the hours of this place. Every place online shows a different set of working hours. I’ve called during the weekday lunch hour before to place an order for pick up and not once has someone taken my call.
Food is great! Service is a disaster. They have no clue what’s going on. The restaurant even accepts orders when they are closed - so avoid ordering online if you can!!!
I picked up 2 pasta dishes with vodka sauce and chicken. Cost was 26$ not terrible but the pasta portion was small and so dry very little sauce. They were out of bread???? And penne pasta??? It was 1pm on a Tuesday. First and last time there don’t bother.
Great food, but they never update or share accurate working hours hours. i’ve been to the restaurant twice during their open hours (based on google) only to see a sign on the door that they were actually closed. also, on uber eats they have cancelled my orders multiple times even though it says it’s their open hours. and they usually cancel orders after i’ve been waiting for 20-25 minutes.
Order was ready for pickup but the vodka sauce was almost like pomodoro and very little provided. The sauce was also bland and the foccacia was dry and not fresh. Roasted broccoli instead of steamed was a nice touch but would not return as better options in the area.
No idea how the food is because they apparently lock their doors a full half hour before their posted closing time.
Closed.
Closes at random time.
Was closed without an update 😕
Italian food is something else!
Everything was wrong :over cooked pasta ,tasteless sauce , nasty service ,crazy prices. Well done guys!
Worst sphagetti and meatball sauce ever, it was dry and flavor less. Won't recommended going there.
It’s not open when it says it’ll be anymore. Paid online and went to pick it up and door was locked. Seeing me, the staff waved me off and ignored me.
Unfortunately we came on Sunday all the way from Brooklyn and the place was closed. Thanks for not updating Google.
Super over priced even for the area. Paid $13 for pasta and sauce, ridiculous. I also asked for chicken, and didn’t get any in my pasta. Also how do you not carry Penne?
Pasta is delicious but their schedule is terrible, sometimes they work sometimes don’t so I don’t recommend this place
Embarrassing. Pasta completely overcooked. Flavor undetectable. I really cannot believe there is anyone that has ever tasted pasta in the kitchen.
Would not eat here again. Pasta sauce tasted like out of a can and sausage was very low quality.
Used to be the best pasta in the FiDi. Over the last few months, the quality has gone way down. The pasta is no longer fresh, the chicken is worse than street meet, and the sauce isn’t tasty. I used to crave this place but can no longer order here. I assume it’s new management or chefs and needing to cut cost. You can buy a box of pasta for $2…
Don’t list you hours to open for 1130am and when I go to the store I’m told at 1130 not open yet wait 10 minutes. There’s plenty of good pasta places in FIDI so you just lost a customer.
My office ordered from here 20mins ago- Please don’t waste your time ordering here. Pasta was hard, tasteless & dry.. waste of $25 .. not to mention they didn't add any of the additional add-ons requested to help with the flavor (red pepper flakes & parm we not added to bag) not even a fork
Try other places! I am sicilian and my hotel was just next to pearl st, was so excited to eat italian after 20 days of american food but all my expectations were not met! Starting from the restaurant itself which is so far away from being an authentical italian place, too much focused on being fancy trendy that it looks like a startup kitchen. Pasta not al dente, slow anonymous service and too expensive for this simple bad pasta plate.
This place is NEVER open when it says it will be. We placed an online order and were charged for it and yet when we showed up to pick it up, the door was locked and we were waved away and ignored by 5 employees inside doing nothing. We had to go through online customer support and eventually got a refund for the food we paid for.
I placed an Uber eats order to this place the taste of the food was okay but the portions and presentation is just disappointing. The chicken on the Alfredo was cut up so little that it looked like it was meant for a salad. The extra portion of the pasta on the Stravinsky looked like a normal portion of pasta and there wasn’t any extra sauce. The pasta was dry and and tasted like it was microwaved. Overall it’s just disappointing would not recommend.
$17 for a small dish of pasta. Even for NYC prices, wow. Better to head to an authentic Italian restaurant for that price. Meatballs taste and texture are as if they were pulled from a spaghetti O's can. Edit: Downgraded from 2 to 1 star due to the blatantly manipulative and fraudulent reviews spamming this page - obviously supported by the owner

I'm making this review to reach out to whoever owns or runs this place. THIS IS MY FAVORITE PASTA SPOT. Why are you closed every day this week? HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHETHER YOU ARE OPEN OR NOT? DO YOU HAVE A TWITTER? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. BUT I can't stand when it is closed on random days without any notice...
