Lavender & Honey is a cute, popular cafe known for its delicious iced lattes, unique toasts like the lavender and honey toast and Pasadena toast, and great sandwiches. It can get busy, especially on weekends, but the line moves quickly. Some find it pricey and the coffee quality inconsistent.

Cute place! I've been here maybe three times and it has always been pleasant. The staff and courteous and get your drinks to you quickly. I've only had their coffee drinks and they have always been well made. I'm going to have to try their sandwiches next time.
Cute coffee spot. Its popular among the locals. It can get pretty busy. Came in on Sunday at 11am and it was pretty packed. Fresh pastries looks yummy! They also have homemade jams and spread. Decided on a iced matcha. Matcha grade was good! Smooth tasting w almond milk.
Lavender & Honey has always been one of my cozy go-to spots in Pasadena, and today’s chopped Italian salad reminded me why. 🥗 The salad came beautifully put together in a compostable box – generous layers of crisp lettuce topped with sliced salami arranged like a little flower, plenty of chickpeas, shredded cheese, black olives, and fresh diced tomatoes, plus two containers of dressing on the side so nothing gets soggy. Every bite had a good mix of textures and flavors—salty, tangy, and super satisfying without feeling too heavy. It’s the perfect quick lunch: fresh ingredients, good portion size, and that relaxed café vibe Lavender & Honey is known for. I’d definitely order this chopped Italian salad again next time I’m craving something savory but still on the lighter side.
Very cute little coffee shop that had a great menu and lots of additional things for your eyes to wander over, like the local honey. This is a great place to chill, meet your friends, and have a quick bite while you read. The staff is very thorough, super charismatic, and very knowledgeable about their craft. I'll definitely continue to visit this spot while I'm in town. Be warned, bring a fully charged laptop/phone if you plan to do any work here. And bring and open appetite to try something new!
delightful local spot for coffee and toast, especially on a work trip. got the cream cheese 2 mornings in a row and it was worth it. a lovely way to start the morning.
Very cute coffee shop with great tasting coffee. I added cinnamon to a vanilla latte and it was very tasty. They do have some indoor and outdoor seating but it was quite busy with a line when I visited around 10 am on a weekday. Despite the size of the line they got through the orders fairly quickly and it didn’t take as long as I anticipated. They have a lot of unique lavender and honey combinations of coffees to try out.
i decided to go a little out of my way and visit this location for a cup of cold brew and i was pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. the service was extremely quick and i'd definitely return. it's on a quiet street in a nice part of North Pasadena. i didn't purchase a breakfast bread but the ones displayed in the window sure looked delicious.
Love this place. Super cute but can get busy. I usually just order ahead and take it to go, but it’s a nice place to hang out and there is seating inside and outside if you choose to dine-in. They also sell honey (obviously lol) and other local goods. Great coffee + food! Friendly staff.
Firstly, I enjoyed the vibe in this place -- very comfortable, even if it's slightly cramped. The space isn't TOO small, but if there was 10 less square feet it would be. The decor is nice and cohesive, and it feels deliberate. There's a nice selection of coffee-shop accouterments it peruse, along with some tasty looking food items to take home. There's a good a amount of seating here considering the size of the place. There's a patio with 4 tables and some umbrellas, and some indoor accommodations, as well, although, those are a bit more intimate. Everything was relatively clean considering the amount of traffic in the shop, and at the tables, while I was there. The service was prompt and friendly. Everyone behind the counter was masked, which I appreciated. Everyone was in a good mood and seemingly happy to be doing what they were doing, which added to the pleasant ambiance. I ordered an iced Chai tea and an Italiano sandwich. The drink was ready almost instantly with the sandwich not following too far behind. As far as the quality, everything was outstanding. The iced Chai was delicious, and the sandwich was worth revisiting to experience again. The bread was particularly memorable! The last couple of things I think are worth mentioning are regarding the parking, and the prices. The parking is tight and the lot is seemingly shared with the surrounding businesses. I wouldn't be expecting to find a space if you're coming during peak hours, so keep that in mind. Also, it's not the cheapest place ever, but I genuinely feel that you get what you pay for but it's worth noting. Overall, this place was very, very good and I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. I'll be back again soon!

Great sandwiches on great bread. The Italiano is pictured. Friend let me try the P.L.T and while it was good the bun-to-contents ratio wasn’t great so it didn’t feel like the best value. For sure coming back to try more sandwiches. Coffee wasn’t a showstopper for me like the sandwich was but it was still a good cup I’d order again next time. They had a ton of staff for both the beverages and sandwiches so everything came out very quickly. They stay on top of rushes very well it seems.

First sip of their amaretto orange latte sent Lavender and Honey right to the top for my California vacation espresso extravaganza! Only matched by Jones Coffee and Red Shift, this is one special spot doing the baristas of the world proud. We all enjoyed a quick Sunday morning take out but were confused why they did not have the other drinks ready but waited on everything for us to show up to begin the toast to ensure that was fresh. Small matter since we had time and this space is easy to enjoy. Wish I could've stayed! Need to move to California for sure.
Great place for coffee...lattes and such.Even tried a tea latte there for the first time...it was really tasty.Lots of unique things to order and most recently I bought some things off the little table they have. Pistachio butter and Dill Mayo...both sooooo good. The only feedback I have it please get a couple sugar free syrups. I'd be there way more often if you had them.
Very busy little cafe, but the line moved quickly enough and I was able to find a seat. Staff were all super friendly. I enjoyed their seasonal apple butter parfait so much that I now make a copy-cat version at home.

My husband and I came in here early this morning and we tried the iced Brew tonics very delicious something new and something different we really enjoyed them very much thank you
super cute cafe! feels like a really nice neighborhood cafe and the outdoor area is so nice! with free parking lot. no wifi but i think i saw plugs. coffee was ok. they have nice options for food and pastries too and staff were nice
Very cute spot ! Gave me hipster vibes . The line was always long . They had a lot of staff helping out working inside so we didn’t wait too long for the coffee . Their pastries I think are from other vendors and not baked in house but they were tasty . We ordered a brown sugar latte and salted caramel latte. I appreciate the 8 ounce option.! The coffee itself is pretty good. Not as strong , but I just read that they use clutch coffee, which is probably why I’m not a huge fan of klatch! Although they did make a pretty decent cup of coffee!
This place is fairly small and can get packed quickly. They have some seating inside and a very small outdoor patio. There’s a parking lot next to it, but that fills up fast since it’s for all the businesses on that corner. The coffee and toast were good but pricey. They recently increased their prices due to inflation, and it’s $8 for a normal-sized cup if you’re getting alternative milk.
The matcha is good but the sandwiches are overpriced for what they are in my opinion. The cafe itself is nice but NO WIFI.
I came in in the morning around 745am and ordered their iced americano and cold brew. Both tasted great! The business has its shared parking and I was able to find parking quick. I can imagine it gets busy later on in the day. Would come back and try their other drinks and pastries!

My co-worker told me about this place, so I honestly expected the lavender matcha to taste phenomenal. But, it was just okay—nothing out of the ordinary. While the service was good, their Turkey Club sandwich and beverages were disappointing.

Been going there for almost three years. The coffee has been just okay so far. But today it tasted really bad. I think the coffee quality can be improved.
I mean take a look what a $7.00 can get you for an avocado toast. A smudge of avocado & red pepper. It just gets worse every time. They can definitely afford to put 2 smudges. All it did is wake up my appetite. Latte was just ok with no foam just a flat milk and espresso. It’s not even a latte. Maybe need to retrain, So many better coffee shops now. Just disappointed to put that much money of nothing.
