We love this new place! The food is delicious and feels authentic. The service is kind and the atmosphere is hospitable. A great spot to go with family. We love the Caesar salad and eggplant parmesan! You have to end your night with a canoli!!
First time here for date night. The pizza was so delicious. One of the best pizzas we've had in a minute. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the pastas were phenomenal. The ambience is super cute and cozy. Kimberly, our server was the best. We will definitely be back!
Cute spot with really funny characters working and a really sweet lady working the parm wheel! A full restaurant with a deli counter on the side for a sit down meal or sandwiches to go. The dinner menu is really good. All the cheeses were delicious and my favorite part!
They had some of the BEST Italian food ever it was really busy and yet the food came out fast, the waiter where also very kind my waiter today was named Jacob he was EXTREMELY Good and very patient. Though there was a small Hispanic lady who was really rude and when I asked her to take a plate she told me to ask my waiter.
I found out this location a few weeks ago on social media! I'm glad I recently visited this restaurant with its pleasing atmosphere! My hero sandwich was excellent! I plan on having some pasta next time and will get some deli cold cuts as well! The quality and prices of their food are definitely a reason to visit!
I just found out about the place a few weeks ago and I was very satisfied with my visit today! My Hero was on point and the quality of their cold cuts is top notch! I'm definitely going to be back to try the pasta on my next visit!
I had the Italian hero sandwich and ricotta cheesecake for dessert. Both excellent choices! The tiny market also has many interesting choices and I took a few things home with me. We will be back!
Service was fast and our server was great. She was very attentive. The calamari was savory! It was soft inside but crunchy on the outside and paired well with the garlic aoili sauce. This is the best calamari right next to Petrillos Pizza restaurant calamari in San Gabriel. The Carlos sandwich got an upgrade amd includes more meat, which to me kinda defeated the ability to be able to taste the pesto sauce. But other people like my boyfriend prefer it to contain a lot of meat and like it that way. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was okay. The noodles were great but the chicken was charred and lacked flavor. It was also dry. My boyfriend had the linguini with sea food and said it was so-so and could use improvement. The best part of the linguini were the scallops according to him. Overall, the staff was friendly, service was fast, and the ambiance is relaxing. Some food items are great while others can use some improvement. But, we will be back to try other menu items.
My type of spot for italian in LA County. Yum! Sorry in advance for I did not take pictures of everything we ordered and ate. It's definately that enjoyable.
What a beacon of light for Italian restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Very delicious and authentic dishes. From authentic Pinse (Roman style pizza) to the homemade style pastas. This restaurant takes me right back to Italy, it is very much like the bistros you will find all through Italy. My wife found the bolognese pasta one of the best she's had in California and we both loved the margherita Pinse. My vegitanario sandwich huge and simply unique and delicious. The service and welcoming staff and environment with the deli and cute table/ cushioned bench seating and modern chairs were a plus. We can't wait to take our friends to our new discovery and return again and again. This is not an ordinary Italian restaurant and pinse pizza is finally getting ready to take off. It's made with several different flours and fermented for 45 to 72 hours normally which leaves it so light and crispy unlike the american pizza which is ( in my opinion) like wet cardboard. It makes it Keto friendly as well . Thank you for putting together such a breath of fresh air !
The service was great... Johnny our server was great aswell. Linguini was cool... My sister ordered the pizza she really liked the crust on the pizza and I ordered the Pollo e Prosciutto sandwich it was okay a little heavy on the dijon and mayo but ordered a pesto on the side and all was well but the bread and prosciutto were excellent in the sandwich. The coffees we ordered were excellent also. The music should be louder in my opinion we could barely hear the music ..we mostly heard screaming children.

What a gem 💎 of a new Italian restaurant here in Pasadena. The pizza was crispy, gooey and cooked perfectly. We started with the caprese salad and we had a beer and a glass of Italian wine. Staff was sharp and attentive! I need to try the breakfasts and Italian sandwiches next!
"This is my first time at this restaurant. The appetizer is Parma ham, with lemon juice that is just right, making it very appetizing. The main course is seafood pasta, with the seafood being tender and juicy, and the pasta has an excellent al dente texture."
We live in walking distance to this place and it has been an absolutely fantastic addition to the neighborhood. We needed a family, casual place like this with good food and atmosphere! I've been for happy hour (great deal although I wish they offered it outside and not just at the bar), regular dinner, and sampled many deli sandwiches, all delicious. My favorite is their pizza, the dough gets so crisp on the bottom and airy around the edges (not soggy like so many) best pizza ive had in a while. Lastly we have always received pleasant and genuine service. I hope they do well and stay in this location for a long time!
This is one of our new favorite restaurants in town! It has a lovely, authentically-Italian atmosphere, with service that reflects the same level of warmth and attention to detail that the whole place exudes. The cuisine was extremely flavorful, with freshly made caccio e pepe and truffle pastas, tasty burrata e prosciutto, and delicious sangria and limoncello. Our only complaint is that we didn't have more time to sit back and soak it all in, since we were on a tight schedule. Highly recommend! Let's get more customers to keep this place afloat!
Came to check out the Italian Deli Co for the first time tonight for dinner. The food was amazing. Everything came out in a timely manner, drinks, appetizers, entree. Shout out to Mindy for the wonderful service. Very attentive, checking in on us throughout our whole meal. We ordered the insalata bictole (beet salad) 5/5 and the fritto misto 5/5, we LOVE a good fried calamari. My partner order the soup of the day, which was a mushroom soup, very cozy soup for the rainy day/ night we’ve been having, as well as the linguine ai frutti di mar, which he claims was very well made, the sauce wasn’t too overwhelming and the seafood was perfectly cooked. I ordered the carbonara, which was VERY authentically made, the pancetta in it was 5/5 which they mentioned comes imported from Italy as well was the pasta. With that being said, we definitely got full but we don’t feel heavy/ bloated. We will definitely be back to check out the brunch menu.
Wow, don't let the business name sway you, this is so much more. The menu has something for any lover of italian but evidently within the Sicilian tradition (no angle hair pasta or gnocchi). Great variety of wines, well crafted salads, fabulous lobster bisque, and the main entre pastas are cooked to peevening. Plus the atmosphere is perfect. On the way out we saw the "deli" and it is impressive for its size. There are so many things I didn't try, I'll return many times. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Wonderful day-after-Christmas dinner at this new restaurant in Pasadena, near the Altadena border. Lovely, relaxing decor with a very nice vibe. We had the carpaccio and caprese salad as apps. The caprese was good and tasted very fresh. It would be a stand-out, IMHO, if it had a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. I asked for additional basil, since there was so little on it as served. The carpaccio was great. My bro had the eggplant Parmigiano with spaghetti, which he really enjoyed. Hubby had a porchetta sandwich, which he raved about. I had the salmon in lemon butter sauce and capers, which came with grilled asparagus. I'm not normally fond of asparagus, particularly when its the larger stalks, but these were tender and delicious; the taste of the char on them lifted them up. The ricotta cheesecake is different, maybe an acquired taste, unlike traditional cheesecake, this was light and not overly sweet. The strawberry compote/sauce was deliciously intense. The panna cotta was to die for! The gelato and sorbet was light and a delightful end to a lovely first-time experience at the Italian Deli Co. Special mention about the cappuccino, which was absolutely amazing. We will most definitely go back. The service was great too!
Adorable new restaurant. The front is inviting with sidewalk seating, while indoors has spacious dining and a small bar. They offer a small retail section of Italian food imports. There’s also a deli. Food was good, flavorful. Wine selection looks decent, though they should really stick with mostly Italian vintages, and maybe a handful of California wines, imo. The decor is cute, modern Italian vintage prints and a cozy vibe. A must-try because the food so far in authentic Italian, and I’m all about supporting small business and revitalizing sit-down dining again!
I was expecting this restaurant to be another overpriced, gimmicky joint in Pasadena with small portions. To be fair, the menu offers a variety of things with being too broad. They just opened less than two months back. The atmosphere is pretty elegant and upscale considering it’s basically a restaurant and a deli in one. I think it would be a nice place for dates. I got the pepperoni pizza and pasta carbonara. Prior to coming in, I’d had such a craving for noodles… This place totally satisfied it. Their pizza dough is thin and tasty, worth trying compared to other pizza joints. There’s nothing really like it in this area. To me, it felt more like Hollywood or Los Feliz vibes rather than Pas. I’ll be back when I need a nice place to bring a date, or treat myself in this area.
The location has only been open for 5 days, but it really stands out from the outside and the inside is a very vibrant Italian atmosphere, Italian pictures cover the walls while lively music plays in the background. Our service was great and the food selections are limited for now since it still is a soft opening. But for the most part the menu is extensive and looked amazing. This was our first visit and we enjoyed our server Carlos and the food was great, will definitely come back to try the deli, fresh bread, classic hero, and traditional sandwiches.
Cute...but not what we expected. The place is beautiful. The food tastes great. We came for sandwiches, but it isn't really a sandwich place. We were sat at a table, and given a menu for pasta etc, but had to request a separate menu for the sandwiches. Why have 2 menus? Also, the prices are all a bit too high. The google listing says $10-20 per person, but its more like $25-$40 per. Appetizers are expensive too. Its hard to find any dish under $15, even sandwiches and appetizers. The waiters are still learning, understandable since the place is new. They didnt really know their menu and didnt get our order correct. But thats ok, its all new. Got pizza, sandwiches, caprese. All were tasty, but the high prices will keep it from being a regular place for us. Really weird about having to ask for the sandwich menu too, felt like we weren't supposed to sit if we wanted sandwiches. Overall I feel like they can't decide id they want to be a casual deli or a fancy linen dine-in experience.
Hi , Went there yesterday , ordered the fried calamari and the focaccia pizza with ricotta cheese and other cheeses. I don't know the exact name of it ( i think cacio pepe ) both were really good. I love the aioli dipping sauce for the calamari. But i asked one server , if he can bring another one , he just kond of looked at me , and said ok , but never returned with it !!! Had to ask 2 other servers , finally one brought it. Also , i had noticed the nite before , someone eating both the items i ordered ( i was walking by ) and they both looked so good , that's how i knew what i wanted. But his portion of the fried calamari was bigger !!! So hope that's what they usually serve.

A new Neighborhood establishment recently opened, and of course had to try it out . Food was outstanding , delicious and reasonably priced. Great flavor and plate combinations of ingredients However. The service was slow …. Really mostly inattentive …. atmosphere was nice. Looking forward to trying lunch and dinner.
