Like most Texans, I LOVE Whataburger!!! Sadly, I moved to Omaha five years ago, and the only time I get Whataburger is when I come home to visit my mother. My wife is from Omaha, and I introduced her to Whataburger a few years ago when she lived with me in San Antonio for a while. Now whenever we come home, we have to have Whataburger first thing, and at least two or three times during a weekend. This location is extremely clean, friendly staff, and great food!

Food is always fresh and hot. Good fries also.

Okay, Whataburger. You have redeemed yourself after my last review, and I knew you would! This photo doesn't do this burger justice, it looks like a burger from a commercial. The onion rings, I ate most of them on the way home, they are piping hot! Like when I took a bite, I had to puff off the steam. The big deal? I ordered this freshly cooked food at 3:30am on a Thursday night. My housemate is going vegetarian, and I really needed a Whataburger. Even in the middle of the night, my food is hot off the grill and fryer. It's delicious. I also love how when I bite the onion ring, the entire onion doesn't come out. Other onion ring lovers know the struggle, I'm sure, but Whataburger makes their onion rings right, oniony goodness in every bite. Thank you so much!

I went ahead and decided I wanted to go to whataburger today, and I was greeted by the kindest employee. I believe his name was Alexander. When I walked in, he smiled and welcomed me into the restaurant. I told him I wasn’t ready to order yet and I needed a minute and he completely understood and patiently waited until I was ready. The entire time I was deciding he had a bright smile on his face and when I told him I was ready he took my order and had the utmost respect towards me. When I had completed my order, he politely handed me the number and told me to take a seat. When my order was ready, he came and gave me my food and made sure I had everything I needed, like ketchups, my drink, and once he left he told me to have a wonderful day and let him know if he needs anything. What a great guy!

Decent food, has changed over time since new ownership. Don't eat here as often as some things like the sausage mess with my stomach and never use to. Don't like the fact that they've taken down the In God We Trust and God Bless America signs that use to be proudly displayed in the windows on both sides of the building, another change from the new ownership, they're out of Chicago so I guess I shouldn't expect anything less. The wait has always been an issue.

They don't brag about it much, but years ago there was a survey to discover how each Whatabburger placed. Of all the (iirc) 558 participating Whataburgers, this one placed 14th. It is consistently, one of the best. Many of the old staff that gave it it's glowing reviews, sterling reputation, and just perfect everything have retired or moved on, but the current staff ain't no slouch. It's not as good as it used to be, but it's 97% as good as they used to be. If they did a new survey I'm sure they'd rank in the top 30.

My first time at this location and it's been awhile since I've had some Whataburger. The worker who took my order was great. She was very friendly and super nice (Sorry I forget her name). Waited about 10mins or less for my food. Another worker brought our food to us while we were sitting down and was super nice. We had a coupon for a free whataburger burger if you order a medium fries and medium drink. My husband ate the burger and said it was huge but a bit on the dryer side (we paid for extra cheese). The fries had a little too much salt on it but was good nonetheless. I ordered the 3 piece chicken strip and it was as good as I remembered it. I ate it with. gravy and their gravy has never disappointed me. Overall, service was great, food was great and the atmosphere was great. The store was clean and the workers were very friendly. I would be back at this location.

I've eaten at numerous Whataburger locations in the past several years. This is my 1st time here. Ixchel's brother took my order. He answered all my questions, and helped me with getting the app special which was a free Pico de Gallo burger with purchase of medium drink & medium fries. No problem substituting medium onion rings for the fries, toasting the buns on both sides, and adding lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on the side. I also earned 3X / TRIPLE app points today, June 19, for Juneteenth. Jasmine also helped me. L. Shepard is the Manager at this location. Everyone here was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Excellent customer service! Everything was delicious!

Yes you got to the all famous Whataburger for some good ol Texas Beef and no doubt its good although the burgers can be very heavy! Don’t mind trying their chicken strips if they are coming out hot and fresh with gravy.

WhatABurger is really awesome. We tried CaramelLatte and it is really good. Entire family likes a lot. We keep buying it. I highly recommend Latte here. This location is much improved over a few years ago. Service was polite and attentive, especially for a fast food joint.

I recently visited Whataburger in Allen and had an awesome experience! Michael was working and he took our order with such kindness and helpfulness. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean, which made our time there even better. I especially love the convenience of having two lanes to order, although the drive-through can sometimes be a bit slow. However, knowing that they make the food fresh, I completely understand why. The only downside was that it can get pretty noisy and rowdy inside the restaurant, but that's expected since they're open 24 hours and get all kinds of people in there. Overall, I highly recommend Whataburger in Allen for their great food and friendly service.

I was in a great mood pulling into the drive through but by the time I left, I was not happy. I waited in line for 20mins behind only one other car in my lane. Our order was a singular meal. When I pulled up to the window they said “sorry for the wait” in a very insincere way. I asked “can we get a coupon for waiting for so long”. She didn’t say anything, closed the window and walked away and waited for me to leave. Which I did because I wasn’t going to take it further. I was simply asking for something to compensate me for the long wait, which I feel should have been offered to me to begin with. Anyway, very frustrated that is the way she chose to handle that instead of simply saying “no we cannot” or consulting a manger.

Went through the drive-thru this morning May 3, 2025 and got breakfast for 6 people. Ordered taquitos with picante, got no picante. Ordered kids meals and got spicy ketchup in one of them and a total of 4 ketchups. Two of each for 6 people. This is no way to take care of customers. I understand that places get busy but that’s not a reason to not do the simple parts of your job.

I end up going out to this location twice a year or so and every time I'm reminded why I don't go more often. If you go through the drive through, expect to wait half an hour (it doesnt matter if you go at noon or midnight, the wait is the same) and expect at least one thing to be wrong on your order. Very disappointed, the food isnt cheap, it isn't fast, and it isnt even what you ordered.

They allow dogs in the dining area here. Not very customer friendly either. They all seem to. It really care to work or are in any hurry to serve their customers. Wandering around and talking in their cell phones.

Charges you for sauce (other than ketchup) when you order online and then they forget to put it in the bag :( It would be fine if you could choose drive thru for online orders so you can check before leaving but with curbside by the time you look the employee is already gone :(

They got my order wrong. Basically every time I go there my order is wrong, and it took almost 7 minutes to get my food! The workers are pretty nice when I go there, and always give me a few extra napkins. I found a fly on my hamburger. I ordered doublemeat jr without tomatoes. It had tomatoes on it which is how I saw the big horse fly. No apology given when I took it back in. The lady behind said they didn't have flies in the store. Smh, never going back.

My last 4 orders have had items missing. This is a complete joke of a franchise. Corporate will not issue refunds. Update: Another bad experience at this location. An employee tried to give my order to a curbside customer, and they refused it after reading the receipt. A manager saw this at the window and did nothing. Meanwhile, my order was placed back on the shelf for 10 more minutes until I walked up again to ask about the status. I was shocked when they grabbed the same bag to give to me.

But damn seriously guys?? 20 minutes waiting in line for ONE patty melt amd fries, only to recieve cold soggy fries...with one sad ketchup..this place is really falling apart. Idk how anything gets done here or how they keep business. I will NOT be coming back or wasting anymore time in yalls line. Chickfila on the other hand was bussier than you were yet they completed my order in less than 5 minutes PLUS it was hot and fresh. Don't waste your time going here. Don’t come here in the evening. Waited a full 50 minutes to get food. They gave our order to the car in front of us, and when we asked for condiments that we had asked when ordering, the lady working gave us a dirty look. What a terrible experience. Ordered a #2 clearly said no mustard and add lettuce. Did the complete opposite. I also got a large. And my soda was 90% ice, 10% soda. Spent $14 for that. Ridiculous, do better.

This is by far the worste Whataburger I have ever been to. Been eating whataburger for 25 years. This is the only location to consecutively mess up orders. Last 4 orders have been incorrect by missing an item or giving the wrong item, or topping asked for were not recieved. Got off work at 1:30 am, went to get a burger and thats it. I ordered a wataburger with no tomato, they asked if i wanted cheese, i said yes pls, they said do you want any ketchup on the side, i said yes pls again. I got home and opened my bag, i got a plain burger with 5 tomato slices, no cheese, and no ketchup.

This Whatabuger consistently seems to disappoint to the point that I am finally writing a bad review. I've been through the drive-thru, door dashed from this location, and today I went inside to sit down and eat. Every single table was dirty on top and underneath, so we just sat at the least dirty. Fries were served stale and slightly warm. Soda wasn't carbonated enough and not as crisp of flavor like the machines probably weren't clean. (gross). I used to clean them at a previous job. They got nasty quick and lost flavor if not well kept. Every time my wife and I get fries, they are more often than not stale and half packed. The pickles on the burgers are usually stacked like a sloppy pile of poker chips in a random spot instead of spread out. Burgers are squished flat. Even had a stale bun a couple of times. The whataburger experience has been completely ruined for a lot of locations, mostly in the cities. The owners don't give a crap to check in or hire good management apparently. Go to a whataburger in the country and see how the food and hospitality is there. Huge difference! Make Whataburger great again. Also, fix the dang drive-through. No one wants to wait 45 minutes for this crap to not be properly greeted or even offered Katchup when finally arriving at the window. Look at how Chick-fil-A does it. For god sake, your lettin In-and-Out beat you out in Texas. What a shame. Unfortunately, I won't ever know if this location will be fixed because i will not be going back.

I went to this location this morning and I am beyond mad! I ordered the breakfast bowl and the pancake platter. Honestly the pancakes now look and taste like they're frozen and heated up to order. This is unacceptable. The whole reason why I go to Whataburger it's because everything is always made fresh. I know what frozen pancakes. Just like the ones at mcdonald's! If they aren't frozen, then someone needs to talk to their cook. I have ordered this many times before in the past and today was horrible! First of all, when did their pancakes become the size of silver dollar pancakes. That's what I received today. I understand that maybe they have cut back on cost possibly but seriously!!! Also the breakfast bowl has no biscuit in it. It advertises as such. All of a sudden, these restaurants are cutting back but the price is still the same. I sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes for baby pancakes and missing food. Luckily I live too far away because I would taken everything back. I will not order from them again. If y'all keep this up, you will lose customers. I could have bought a bag of frozen pancakes for what I paid for my food today. I'm done!

This place is horrific. Burgers are full of brown lettuce, the toppings are all on one side or the other, the fries are cold, and the Whatachicken pieces are the burnt crusty pieces of trash. Just had this happen - 06/29/25 Waiting for my food, I saw a staff member come out to the dining side drink station to fill drinks for what I assumed was a delivery order. They proceeded to drop all four empty cups onto the floor, pick them up, and start filling them to go out on delivery. That is a major health code violation. This needs to be addressed.

Went to the restaurant on 02/27/2026 at 4:49PM. Waited for approximately 5 minutes before anyone came to counter to take my order, I gave the order precisely as I wanted it prepared. We waited approximately 15 minutes for the order to be prepared, upon receiving the order, one of the burger's did not have cheese as had been ordered. When it was brought to their attention, I was advised that I had not paid for the cheese on burger, even though I ordered it when I placed the order. I was advised I would need to pay the $0.65 for the cheese, which I did. They took the original burger to put cheese on it and, after approximately 10 minutes the burger was returned to me. I had specified that I wanted mayonnaise and no mustard. I also requested that onions not be on the burger. When the burger was returned to me, not only did it have mustard and no mayonnaise, but it also had an excessive amount of chopped onions. While I was waiting for my wife's burger, my burger and fries had gotten cold. The restaurant only had approximately 8 customers at the time of our visit. The personnel were condenscending toward me. I have been a very loyal customer of this restaurant since it opened, but I will have second thoughts before returning.

If i could put no stars I would. The kid who acted like he was a supervisor was very rude and entitled. He tried to school me instead of walking me through the menu. He said he was a trainer and the manger couldn’t be bothered.

today I called the whataburger and supervisor malachi answer the phone started polite and placed me on hold once i asked for a manager, he the came back and told me to call back in 30 mins maybe someone helps me and sorry for the inconvenience. he did not asked what i needed help with nor did he care, it’s entitled kids like this who run preparation and the fact is you know and allow it even maybe enable it, poor behaviors reflect on the business, will go somewhere else moving forward

As someone who literally works at a whataburger down the street, i’m surprised this was served to me, this isn’t a chicken strip this is a chicken bite that was purposely given to me on an online order probably to save the store money! Will never return, had some great service here and there but this is ridiculous to pay $4 and people try to rip you off for a chicken strip…wasn’t even busy there is no excuses.

It was in September. The drive through service was .... embarrassingly bad for a whataburger. 3 breakfast combos should not have taken 45 minutes to get. And I had to park and come in for it. The atmosphere was kinda hell because I was not alone in my experience.

Do better all the flies in the restaurant and on the wall. Do better. I spoke with the manager Mr Diaz he was no help. He cared less and did not even seem to care.

I didn't know coming at midnight meant l'd get such poor service. First, the lady on the intercom could barely hear me. Then, at the window, I was greeted by Miss Octavia, who showed zero customer service skills. She gave me only half my order, and when l asked about the missing items, she said, "Give the bag back" as if I was lying, then added, "Well, I don't make the bags." So if I hadn't checked, I would ve been out of luck. At that point, I got out of my car because the interaction felt completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Kudos to the manager (a Hispanic gentleman) who stepped in and fixed the issue, placing each meal in separate bags like Whataburger normally does. My wife thinks maybe the employee was having a bad day, but that's still no excuse to disrespect customers and mess up orders. Unfortunately, the experience completely killed my appetite. For the record, I ordered 2 meals and 2 kids' meals.
