I went ahead and decided I wanted to go to whataburger today, and I was greeted by the kindest employee. I believe his name was Alexander. When I walked in, he smiled and welcomed me into the restaurant. I told him I wasn’t ready to order yet and I needed a minute and he completely understood and patiently waited until I was ready. The entire time I was deciding he had a bright smile on his face and when I told him I was ready he took my order and had the utmost respect towards me. When I had completed my order, he politely handed me the number and told me to take a seat. When my order was ready, he came and gave me my food and made sure I had everything I needed, like ketchups, my drink, and once he left he told me to have a wonderful day and let him know if he needs anything. What a great guy!
the front employee mia is super friendly and welcoming everything was quick and easy. the manager reyna i speaked with was being professional and attentive. the whole place felt very well managed and they all give positivity i will be coming back to this location!
Visited the Allen, Tx Whataburger today and had an amazing experience. The Patty Melt was hot, fresh, and delicious, exceeding my expectations for fast food. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure my order was perfect. 10/10, will definitely be back!
Decent food, has changed over time since new ownership. Don't eat here as often as some things like the sausage mess with my stomach and never use to. Don't like the fact that they've taken down the In God We Trust and God Bless America signs that use to be proudly displayed in the windows on both sides of the building, another change from the new ownership, they're out of Chicago so I guess I shouldn't expect anything less. The wait has always been an issue.
I'm from Detroit and we don't have these but by gosh I wish we did. Great first impression. 👍🏾 Huge burger great taste and the prickly pear drink was different and very good.
They don't brag about it much, but years ago there was a survey to discover how each Whatabburger placed. Of all the (iirc) 558 participating Whataburgers, this one placed 14th. It is consistently, one of the best. Many of the old staff that gave it it's glowing reviews, sterling reputation, and just perfect everything have retired or moved on, but the current staff ain't no slouch. It's not as good as it used to be, but it's 97% as good as they used to be. If they did a new survey I'm sure they'd rank in the top 30.
My first time at this location and it's been awhile since I've had some Whataburger. The worker who took my order was great. She was very friendly and super nice (Sorry I forget her name). Waited about 10mins or less for my food. Another worker brought our food to us while we were sitting down and was super nice. We had a coupon for a free whataburger burger if you order a medium fries and medium drink. My husband ate the burger and said it was huge but a bit on the dryer side (we paid for extra cheese). The fries had a little too much salt on it but was good nonetheless. I ordered the 3 piece chicken strip and it was as good as I remembered it. I ate it with. gravy and their gravy has never disappointed me. Overall, service was great, food was great and the atmosphere was great. The store was clean and the workers were very friendly. I would be back at this location.
I've eaten at numerous Whataburger locations in the past several years. This is my 1st time here. Ixchel's brother took my order. He answered all my questions, and helped me with getting the app special which was a free Pico de Gallo burger with purchase of medium drink & medium fries. No problem substituting medium onion rings for the fries, toasting the buns on both sides, and adding lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on the side. I also earned 3X / TRIPLE app points today, June 19, for Juneteenth. Jasmine also helped me. L. Shepard is the Manager at this location. Everyone here was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Excellent customer service! Everything was delicious!

I recently visited Whataburger in Allen and had an awesome experience! Michael was working and he took our order with such kindness and helpfulness. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean, which made our time there even better. I especially love the convenience of having two lanes to order, although the drive-through can sometimes be a bit slow. However, knowing that they make the food fresh, I completely understand why. The only downside was that it can get pretty noisy and rowdy inside the restaurant, but that's expected since they're open 24 hours and get all kinds of people in there. Overall, I highly recommend Whataburger in Allen for their great food and friendly service.
The food was good, but the service was sub par. I asked for a large drink and a small fry and got a large fry. Not a big deal. I asked for a sweet tea, since they don't leave it out when it gets late, and he gave me an unsweet tea. He ultimately got me the right one, but still annoying.

Hey Whataburger in Allen, TX—We went through the drive thru for burgers, fries & malts. Total $51.00. Food was ok but the malts all had pieces of styrofoam mixed in. WTH? Are you trying to gag or poison people? I suggest everyone skip the shakes & malts or check what you’re drinking.
They got my order wrong. Basically every time I go there my order is wrong, and it took almost 7 minutes to get my food! The workers are pretty nice when I go there, and always give me a few extra napkins. And whenever I go inside to eat I always get this horrible smell and in the bathrooms it's even worse, it smells like rotten fish. The bathrooms have so much mold it's disgusting!

Went to the restaurant on 02/27/2026 at 4:49PM. Waited for approximately 5 minutes before anyone came to counter to take my order, I gave the order precisely as I wanted it prepared. We waited approximately 15 minutes for the order to be prepared, upon receiving the order, one of the burger's did not have cheese as had been ordered. When it was brought to their attention, I was advised that I had not paid for the cheese on burger, even though I ordered it when I placed the order. I was advised I would need to pay the $0.65 for the cheese, which I did. They took the original burger to put cheese on it and, after approximately 10 minutes the burger was returned to me. I had specified that I wanted mayonnaise and no mustard. I also requested that onions not be on the burger. When the burger was returned to me, not only did it have mustard and no mayonnaise, but it also had an excessive amount of chopped onions. While I was waiting for my wife's burger, my burger and fries had gotten cold. The restaurant only had approximately 8 customers at the time of our visit. The personnel were condenscending toward me. I have been a very loyal customer of this restaurant since it opened, but I will have second thoughts before returning.
If i could put no stars I would. The kid who acted like he was a supervisor was very rude and entitled. He tried to school me instead of walking me through the menu. He said he was a trainer and the manger couldn’t be bothered.
today I called the whataburger and supervisor malachi answer the phone started polite and placed me on hold once i asked for a manager, he the came back and told me to call back in 30 mins maybe someone helps me and sorry for the inconvenience. he did not asked what i needed help with nor did he care, it’s entitled kids like this who run preparation and the fact is you know and allow it even maybe enable it, poor behaviors reflect on the business, will go somewhere else moving forward
As someone who literally works at a whataburger down the street, i’m surprised this was served to me, this isn’t a chicken strip this is a chicken bite that was purposely given to me on an online order probably to save the store money! Will never return, had some great service here and there but this is ridiculous to pay $4 and people try to rip you off for a chicken strip…wasn’t even busy there is no excuses.
It was in September. The drive through service was .... embarrassingly bad for a whataburger. 3 breakfast combos should not have taken 45 minutes to get. And I had to park and come in for it. The atmosphere was kinda hell because I was not alone in my experience.
I didn't know coming at midnight meant l'd get such poor service. First, the lady on the intercom could barely hear me. Then, at the window, I was greeted by Miss Octavia, who showed zero customer service skills. She gave me only half my order, and when l asked about the missing items, she said, "Give the bag back" as if I was lying, then added, "Well, I don't make the bags." So if I hadn't checked, I would ve been out of luck. At that point, I got out of my car because the interaction felt completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Kudos to the manager (a Hispanic gentleman) who stepped in and fixed the issue, placing each meal in separate bags like Whataburger normally does. My wife thinks maybe the employee was having a bad day, but that's still no excuse to disrespect customers and mess up orders. Unfortunately, the experience completely killed my appetite. For the record, I ordered 2 meals and 2 kids' meals.
