We had such a fun time at Golden Corral Buffet & Grill! Sometimes you just want a place where everyone can find something they love, and this is exactly that. The buffet had so many options—from classic comfort foods to fresh salads and desserts—so everyone at the table left happy (and very full). I loved being able to try a little bit of everything. The mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and those famous yeast rolls were definitely favorites at our table. And of course we couldn’t leave without hitting the dessert bar. The soft-serve ice cream and sweets were the perfect way to end the meal. Golden Corral is great for families or groups because there’s truly something for everyone. If you’re hungry and want variety, this is the place. Come with an appetite!
All the food was very good, nice and fresh. Lots of different things to eat. Can't go wrong with Golden corral. There's something for everybody!

We used to come here pretty frequently and it was always ok, but this is our first visit since they have remodeled and must say it’s a whole new experience! The atmosphere is very nice and clean and the buffet redesign is great! I like how it’s organized by cuisine and there seem to be so many more options. Everything was hot and fresh, and you can see them actively preparing food which is nice. The fish is definitely a must try!

This location has improved exponentially! The food options have increased, as well as the quality and cleanliness of everything. Highly recommend you give this location a try if you haven’t been here in a while. Also, the manager is receptive to any suggestions and encourages any type of feedback you may have to offer.

My family and I had the absolute best experience thanks to Martha. From the moment we sat down, they greeted us warmly and made us feel truly welcome. I was happy with the food I was happy with the waitress. The atmosphere is always nice. However I was very unhappy with the general manager or the store manager. Who overcharged me for a breakfast buffet. Most all cashier ask how old my daughter is he did not he did automatically charge both of us for full price adult buffet. The adults buffet is $15 the kids buffet is $8 that's a $7 difference. Even though I knew this I waited to see if he would correct his mistake he did not. Then had nerve enough to ask me to do this review for a coupon if I gave him five stars. Victor should be very ashamed. When I call the location back asking to speak to the manager him. Another manager was placed on the phone. Knowing full well he was there to take my call. So the next time I go back I will indeed let him know that I do not appreciate his underhanded actions.
Lily was the server for our table for the night. I was looking forward to bringing my daughter amd my niece especially since I haven't had golden corral since I was a child. I had a hard moment today and Lily looked like my mother. Her attitude was amazing and she was very caring; How a mother would check on her kids. Customer service matters and you never know who you look like. Thank you to our wonderful server for letting us end the night on a positive note.

Our waitress CoCo is one of the most polite and well attentive servers I know. She goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Not only do we have this wonderful person on weekends during breakfast but also during the week.

I think you will find something for everyone. From kids favorites to desserts If you want desserts, they have a whole section with quality desserts. Most are top notch some need work but you can't beat the variety of cookies, cakes, pies, etc... It is all you can eat and the quality and taste are usually good. It was loud even though it wasn't full

The food has definitely improved. I enjoyed my meal. My husband and I come frequently. My only request that the food stations are labeled properly, such as chicken shouldn't have a label over it saying vegetables. Also, gloves should be made available and visible without asking for me. Overall, great customer service and friendly staff.
I must say out of all Golden Corral's I've been too this has been thee best !!!! The French Toast was amazing the bread was made fresh in house and oh you can tell. The server Moese we had was awesome. We have been here three times and will continue to come back.
OMGGGG I haven't been here since my daughter was 4 and today we decided to come. My daughter is 18 now, and I looked and saw Ms Chin walking by. I couldn't believe how beautiful and kind.she still is. She is the best. I then spoke to the GM Victor and how pleasant he was. This has always been my Golden Corral home. Golden Corral has really made a change to the best. Now, the food is amazing, fresh, hot, and assorted to give everyone an option. The service; even though the service staff needs to make more rounds to the tables, it's a lot better. I recommend the location in Arlington off I20 by The Highlands.

This is the best experience I have had in a long time at a Golden Corral. Loved everything. This was my first time here. Almost looked like the old school one but much more bigger and upgraded and organized. Everything ok as great. O my downside was there was 1 server doing a whole section by herself and at times she wouldn't come back for long periods of time. After a while, we didn't see her. Must of been short on servers but we weren't advised ahead of time. I would definitely be going back
I go here because they have great biscuits and a wide variety of other food items. You can find something for even the pickiest of appetites. The food met or exceeded my expectations. The service is usually great, although this time it was average because we got "new guy" LOL. The manager is on top of things and very customer oriented. The place is well kept and clean.
I had 3 steaks. It was delicious. You get your money's worth at this place. They kept bringing out fresh food. I loved that. My daughter enjoyed the deserts. My waitress Coco took real good care of us. I appreciated the attention she gave us

Every visit is consistent — the restaurant is always clean, the food is always fresh, and the entire staff is so respectful and friendly. Every time I've come to GC my experience has always been pleasant. The place has always been clean. The Customer Service is always great and the Manager Karla has always greeted me with a smile and most times a hug. From my interactions with her, I can tell she really cares for both customers and staff. I have also enjoyed the food as well. Thanks Karla & Staff for all you to sto service your customers 😀
Super clean and well managed location. Probably the nicest one I have been to. Tons of food choices. Servers are very attentive. Manager will check on you which is so nice and he is super friendly and says thank you for your business. If all Golden Corrals were like this one, they would need one in every city!
Well I really loved it! But the chicken was kinda buns. I loved the salad and lemons! Also props to Jay the waitress who served us he was chill and he honestly looks really nice and like of my friends. I didn't like the atmosphere tho:( There was a bunch of Little kids which is pretty normal for a family buffet but there were a lot of crying and screaming ones too. I wish they didn't cut me off in line and pushed me. It was kinda chill while eating I had my headphones in to block all the loud chatter. The dessert was Awesome but I didn't like the crust to the cheesecake. Well enough complaining, I like Jay the food was decent and I liked it.
It had been a good while since I last ate at a Golden Corral, and they di not disappoint. Had a great time with some of my co-workers on a good afternoon out enjoying some good food and conversation. The bread pudding was the dessert that topped it off for me--tasted so good! I will definitely be back soon.
Man, this was such a weird place. The whole store feels unfurnished like you just walked into a house that's up for sale and has as little furniture as possible... and to my surprise, that's where the negatives end for me. I'm so use to Golden corral being a jack of all trades, lots of variety of food, but most of it is either ehh, or it sucks, but this place? Oh no no, this building knows what it's doing! Or it was just a really good day. My group of 3 walked away absolutely stuffed as all of the food we grabbed tasted divine~ the only negative was the pizza was like mushy powder, it was pretty dreadful to eat, but the rest of my food more than made up for it. Out waitress was super polite and did a fantastic job checking up on us, collecting our dishes, and refilling our drinks, if I didn't know any better, I'd assume she was watching us at all times, either way, I really appreciated it. This was our first time going to this golden corral, and we WILL be returning!
Nice place to eat with my husband and family. This place is better than China Buffet because they can't control you what you eat because you pay for it. China Buffet always control what you eat and still watching you. China buffet will always charge you expensive if you eat a little or if you eat a lot. This one is better and more meal to choose. I gave 4 stars because they had Fake ice cream and no TV around. And they also had heavy sugar on the cake. I hate heavy sugar in it but I love cakes and ice cream with normal sweet. I just wish they would lower a little bit more down with sugar. Because it taste awful 😖
The food was better than expected. We usually come for breakfast but this time we tried lunch. The fried chicken is my favorite.Desserts are bountiful and quite tasty. But this time my hat goes to Moises, our server. He was attentive and always there with a smile. We have yet to have a server at this location that went above and beyond to keep us satisfied! This is the second time I’ve visited this Golden Corral and so far it’s been pretty decent. I’m not a food blogger so don’t kill me in the comments but the food was decent. The open ceiling does concern me with the dust being able to fall in my food but it’s a Golden Corral not Ruth Chris so i can only ask for so much. However, the best part about this place was our server Coco. We’ve gotten her both times we’ve been and she’s phenomenal! She’s super friendly, constantly checking on us, and making sure we have everything we need through out the entire experience. She even went so far as to get us a bowl from the back when there wasn’t any sitting out. If i do come back to Golden Corral again, it will definitely be because of her.
We had a large group gathering on a Saturday morning for breakfast. They gave us a spot on the corner to sit 20+ people. It was a good spot, although the music was a bit loud and difficult to have conversation without speak loudly. There was a ton of food to choose from... salads, fried food, fruits, typical hot breakfast items, pies, Tex-Mex, and an Omelette cooking station. The food was good. The place was clean and our waitress took great care of our large group. All the employees we encountered were very nice. Lots of vending machines for kids.
The food is slightly better then my last visit a couple years ago so no big surprise there. But the staff is super friendly and attentive and definitely helps to make this worth going.
When's the Golden corral buffet on Thanksgiving Day paid about $80 for three people and three drinks. The turkey was not that good. The food was okay. But next time I'm just going to cook at home... My honest opinion..
First time here and my wife and I had a good lunch experience. It's been a while since we've gone to a Golden Corral. The best part was the chicken. The skin was crispy! I enjoyed some of the foods, but others were mediocre at best. I recommend the fried chicken, it was crispy, hot, and moist.The best item from their selections. Mashed potatoes w/ corn was also good. The sweet potato casserole is good as well. The corn on the cob was delicious. Overall experience is a 3/5. The rotisserie chicken had bits of undercooked meat. The pasta was watery. The cinnamon pastry was hard. Enchilada only had cheese and tortilla. Experience, give it a shot. If you crave fried chicken, then come here for an endless amount. A quick bite, yes. I would come back.
Breakfast-I decided to try a little of everything during this visit. My top picks: were the powdered sugar French toast, the omelet I ordered, and the crispy deep-fried bacon. Service was decent and the cashier was nice at this location during breakfast. The negative is the music was extremely loud. So loud the table behind me had to yell to hear one another. It’s been years since I’ve been to Golden Corral. I looked at multiple reviews for multiple locations before selecting this one. Glad I did! Establishment was clean and staff was friendly. Most of the food at this location was well prepared and delicious. The downfall was the desserts. I did notice a selection of new items I’ve never seen at Golden Corral. For the price and large variety of food it was worth giving them a try. I have to check out their breakfast buffet the next time I’m in the area.
The first thing that I come in and I need to use the restroom, I go and tell the staff. She said that "you need to pay it get in." But that is not the only thing, I go and get a steak and I say "I want a medium well" SHE GAVE ME MEDIUM A RARE. And the meat was raw! Overall the person that service us was kind and friendly, the food was ok. But it get 2/5
My sister & I have been to this location 5+ times, but will no longer come to this spot. On 12/5/22, around 4:30pm, we attempted to eat dinner, & experienced an issue with the meatloaf. My sister began to eat it when she saw it was still raw from midsection to the bottom. Very pink & squishy meat. Both of us having been in the food service industry for 10+ years knew it was raw just by sight. I informed several employees because for 10 minutes after discovery, each person I told would go look at it, then walk away. Nobody was removing it from the line. I then asked to speak to a manager. A young woman comes to me & tells me its not raw, it just looks that way because its pork. I told her we never had issues with the meatloaf looking that way any other time we have been here, & she said it could be because whoever prepped it didn't mix it right. We then go in circles, I'm showing her that its obviously raw, not cooked long enough, & she keeps telling me the same thing. At this point, we requested a refund. We then waited an additional 20 minutes waiting on the refund because their system seemed to freeze when using card. I kept asking for an update, or cash, & there was no sense of apology, urgency or care from the manager or cashier. They kept addressing customers walking in. Finally when no one else walked in, the manager then gave me a cash refund. I asked for corporate number to file a complaint, both cashier & manager told me "they will just tell you the same thing" & never gave me the number. Despite this being the only issue I've faced in 5+ visits, we won't be returning or recommending this place due to the handling & fact the meat loaf was still left on the line. Hate to think where else corners are cut. 🤢
The waitress was sweet and friendly . HOWEVER, that food was horrible. They put fresh rolls , but they were cold. Fresh chicken out, but it wasn’t hot and the chicken was hard. Which lets me know the food was sitting in the back. The ranch dressing tasted water down. The sweet potatoes casserole wasn’t sweet. The worse Golden Corral I been too. The next time I visit Arlington,TX I won’t go here!!!
Food is ok. Not fresh, very picked thru and the food is prepared very poorly. Meat too tough or burnt. Veggies over cooked, even baked goods were tough or burnt. Rolls were cold. Just not that good anymore. Not worth what you pay.
Once you enter and pay an arm n leg for the buffet. Around lunch alot of food wasnt fresh. Looked like left overs from Thanksgiving. Took forever fo find a server to bring me spoon n fork. Was irritated by this time. Not like it used to be in olden days w Ryan's steak or Sizzler
Really used to like this location, now I’m usually always disappointed in the food quality. Looks old, dried up and like mush. Can’t tell what half the stuff is especially the breakfast :( The plaques to tell what certain foods are aren’t there or it’s a different item. What kind of bothered me my last visit is the server took my plate of food I was still eating because I had got up to go get something else to finish that plate. My husband still tipped $10 even though refills were nonexistent. Also didn’t like when she did ask what my refill drink was she was doing hand gestures at me to try to hurry and answer her.
The last time I came to this location I told my husband that it changed. None of the bread was fresh every single bread they had was HARD! I asked a guy who was working in the area when were fresh cheddar biscuits coming up, he said they cooking I ‘m sitting here now and after 30 min of which I’m about to leave still no fresh biscuits. It is so much left on the plate because majority of it was either cold like the steak and I tried TWICE! the ribs horrible and cold. The reason they got 2 stars because most of the food area was clean but from the Pot-roast to the soup area was not clean. And the staff was polite. I won’t be back.
The service was non existent. The restaurant was clean. There was no music .the help were all frowning and hateful. The food was all bland. It appeared to be under new management from the Middle East. I was disappointed and didn't eat the food. Not at all like the Golden Corral from the past.
I visited this Golden Corral recently and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The restaurant had visible dust hanging from the ceiling, which made it really hard to enjoy my meal knowing dust could potentially fall onto my table and into my plate. In terms of hygiene, this is definitely something the owners need to address—closing the ceiling or cleaning it properly would make a huge difference. Additionally, as this is a buffet, I would strongly suggest implementing a glove policy for customers. It's concerning that people were touching utensils with bare hands, which really takes away from the overall cleanliness of the dining experience. The food itself was okay, but I don't think I'll be returning unless I see some serious improvements in cleanliness and safety measures.
Golden Corral – November 2, 2025 It’s been a while since I’ve visited Golden Corral, and I can honestly say, some things have changed — unfortunately, not all for the better. First off, I remember when you could purchase your meal and receive your drink right at the counter. I recommend going back to that system because the new setup isn’t working. My family sat at our table for what felt like forever waiting for someone to bring silverware and our drinks. Completely unacceptable — my kids could’ve finished a whole plate before anyone even came by. Next, let’s talk about the crowd and organization. When we arrived, we were seated by a host, but shortly after, I saw another couple walk in and get no help at all. It almost turned into an argument with another guest. That’s a sign of poor organization and inconsistent service. Now, the buffet itself — with so many people touching the serving utensils, it’s honestly a health concern. With bacteria and germs being what they are these days, Golden Corral should really consider requiring gloves when handling food or having employees serve the food instead. It would help with cleanliness, crowd control, and overall organization. Lastly, cleanliness needs serious attention. Whoever owns or manages this location should take a good look at the ceiling — it’s open and full of dust that’s falling down into the dining area. That’s just not sanitary. Closing the ceiling or ensuring it’s cleaned nightly would make a big difference. I only went this time for my kids, but I won’t be returning until things improve. I really hope management takes these issues seriously because this location has potential, but it’s being overshadowed by poor service, disorganization, and cleanliness concerns.
One star is too kind y'all. You may as well eat at a hospital food court before you think of coming here. The meatloaf was underdone pink, the chicken wings were overdone. Everything lacked flavor, the cucumber tomato onion salad wasn't cut right, who's going to put half a tomato in their mouth? Everything gotta come from a can or suffered a long freeze before being so under prepared. The server didn't listen & seemed too timid to double check. What even was that? 55 bones for worse than hospital food and why was the flan weird??
This had to be the grossest restaurant experience I’ve ever had. For starters, it’s $23 a person which is outrageous for what I witnessed today. The food looked OLD, had a weird coloring to everything. The meat loaf looked super off color gray, the fish had a pink center and not white, the chicken was dry as heck that you could tell it had been sitting under a heat lamp baking for hours. There was some pulled pork looking stuff that looked super dry as well. Nothing was prepared with care. I’m shocked no one is sick after eating this food. The health inspectors really need to visit this place. There was some water or mysterious liquid falling from one of the vents bouncing off the glass near food….the kitchen floors were soaked with debris from food, trash, plastic, looked sticky. The grills have not been cleaned in DAYS you can tell because of all the build up on them and gross food that is sticking to it. The tubs they have sitting around random places are gross. The ice cream machine was a disaster with spilling ice cream every where. The lettuce at the salad bar was wilted brown. The person who put it out should obvious know that’s not good lettuce. The ranch tasted sort of off, All of the meat tasted off. Except for the popcorn shrimp. I ate an enchilada that had some mysterious BROWN shaded meat and it was not beef. You know how you can look at something and think that something doesn’t look “right” well i had that thought many times. Again It just made me feel like I shouldn’t be eating this. Who ever the manager is there does not care. If they did this wouldn’t be happening. The napkin holder at our table was filthy and had sticky stuff on the side and loads of dust so clearly that’s my sign that no one ever cleans them. So if they’re not cleaning the table right just imagine what the parts we don’t see look like. Place needs to be looked at for sanitary and health violations asap. I took photos but just a reminder these are the ones I felt like I could take but there’s more that I didn’t have the chance to cover.
I use to love going there to eat. I went there for lunch yesterday. I am 70 and my meal and drink was at $20.00. For lunch???? Then most of the food was cold are very bland. So disappointed. I won't be going back after all these years. Shame on Golden Corral, these are the reason so many food places are slowly going out of business in America.
This place is disgusting paying almost $20 per person thats with drinks to find this place like this I talk to the mngr she was super nice I ask for a refund she said to give her 5 min and came back and said she will fix the issue told the kitchen mngr and they got to clean then send a lady to tell me I can now go to the buffet line my brother over heard that they said start cleaning someone took pictures I understand it gets busy and it can happen and it gets dirty but it wasn’t busy at all the guys was just standing in the kitchen and when everything was clean she said I can go to the buffet line the mngr never came back to tell me about my refund or anything my husband and brother still ate but i just left it alone bcuz I knew that she wouldn’t refund me back bcuz I guess they clean I would never go back to this place
We hadn’t been to GC in over 10 years- we def won’t be back. The food was terrible and tasted very low quality. Everything was lukewarm, stale or mushy. The restaurant had a strange odor and the restroom floor felt greasy. I’ll give it one star because the waiter was helpful.
This place is disgustingly disappointing. I had to wait 15 minutes before an employee even acknowledged us. Once we got to look around there were dead flies in almost everything. The staff was no help whatsoever unless you spoke Spanish. It was truly a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend wasting 50 for this AT ALL. The meat was barely cooked , they couldn’t even cook meatloaf right. It came out looking like raw mystery meat. And after waiting 40 minutes for steak, a latino gentleman came up next me and was served first. Not only was he served first, she gave him the biggest piece ive seen her give out this entire then proceeded to cut a small piece off the larger one and then took the rest to the back. Youd think i would get a piece bigger than sample size especially after waiting for so long, or at least get served first as id already been there waiting . But i guess decency is too much to expect and ask for at this location. Never again. I will be reaching out to corporate for a refund. Worst experience ive had dining in.
First we paid 43.00 to eat the food was cold and most of all the food was dried out yuck some of the food pans were Soo over dried. The waitress was very polite though. We didn't enjoy our dinner to much as there was a screaming child... I understand sometimes that happens but this lady didn't seem to care honestly I wanted to just walk put have way eating our dinner. I went bk thinking the dried up food had been replaced but no. empty pans n pans left with dried up food yuck we were there like a HR n still the pants were still all dried up with food not appealing at all I don't even know how people go to this place still...yuck 🤮🤢
Food not very fresh, crust on top of salad dressings, 3rd Golden corral over the years and all have gone down hill on freshness. Waiter was very kind. Not many other employees or customers . Was a Thursday evening. My birthday,😔
Honestly, the food here was bland, lots of the selection was cold, and nowhere near worth the price. It’s shocking how big the difference in value is compared to the Grand Prairie location, which is way better in both quality and price. On top of that, our server was rude and dismissive, acting like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. No apology, no effort to fix anything. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I won’t be coming back. If you want this place, do yourself a favor and go to the Grand Prairie one instead.
The food was awful. I'd rather have hospital food. It was fresh, I'll give them that. But was just nasty. We are a group of 8. It was approximately $160. We consist of 4 adults and four kids. 9, 13, 14, 17. None of them ate anything except rolls. They tried it all. Especially my 14 yr old who is 5'11" and 230 lbs. This boy can eat. My pregnant daughter couldn't eat anything either. My husband tried the steak, pork chops, chicken...all were bland and poor quality. He ended up just eating a salad. Waiter was rude as heck. Only came back one time to get us refils. He was angry we called him over. He literally snatched the cups out of me and my autistic son's hands. Overall terrible experience! We had to spend more money on fast food after we left there.
Me and my family ent to the breakfast buffet (Didnt know they had one) I was taking video and pics of the food to share here on Google Reviews, but was told RUDELY by the mngr Victor that no photos or videos were allowed in their establishment because its private! Guess they dont appreciate FREE advertising. Safe to say that WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
