Love this place! It is a very friendly moms and pops shop. The amount of food is excellent and tastes great, we loved how we had the option of warming up the pecan pie and having it brought out towards thd end. Thank you to all the folks of this town it was a grear experience. This was our first time here!!

As great as the food has always been and one of the reasons I drive to San Andreas for lunch is the Pickle Barrel. Now I am so grateful to have them here in Angels Camp as the Pickled Porch! My husband and I went there today. So sad they didn’t have their incredible Club but tried something new and WOW it was amazing. Thank you Gretel!!

The Pickled Porch has the most delicious sandwiches and is a perfect spot for a satisfying lunch with quaint atmosphere. My sister and I went there on a recent trip to Angels Camp and she got the Tri Tip Swagger Wy and I got the Lilly Bird. You guys... my Lilly Bird was probably the most delightful hot sandwich I have had in a very long time and my sister's Swagger Wy had just enough blue cheese crumbles to give fantastic taste without overpowering the tri tip. We sat on the porch and sipped a margarita and a bloody mary, both of which were made from scratch and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the overall ambiance was like sitting on a hospitable southern porch. Highly recommend!

This is a great cafe to grab a sandwich and sit on the beautiful porch. The food is delicious and the service is great! You walk in, grab a menu, stand in line, order your food, pay, get a number, pick your table and they bring it to you plus anything else you need. Perfect little mountain stop! Definitely coming back!

Fantastic sandwiches stuffed full of goodness w interesting sauces, sprouts & regular fixings. The tri-tip was notable for its tenderness & flavor. The thinly sliced red onions, though raw, add sweetness & a bite to the overall flavor. A side (choice of 5; comes with every sandwich) adds a healthy dose of veggies (unless you choose the pesto macaroni...) The porch is a noteworthy feature of this place, classically refined, casual, pet-friendly. Oh and don't forget the bread pudding. Served warm after your meal, with ice cream or whipped cream. So good. Worthy!

Now google picks up our location even just driving by so thought I'd check the photos I must say I have never ever been in this sandwich shop but after seeing the sandwiches they all look absolutely delicious I'm a man who loves all food pretty much . I will have to try this place but I love everything I can eat I am not picky so I would want to know from others which is the most wanted sandwich here . Great food, excellent service! I have been to the Pickled Porch a couple times and each time I felt welcome. The sandwiches are made fresh and are prepared quickly! I tried the Tommy Bomber and the Spicy Bird (quite spicy indeed), I would recommend both. Indoor seating is limited, but there are plenty of shaded outdoor tables. I plan to make this a regular lunch destination.

Wow! Super friendly people, and they're so busy. Everyone was helpful and I'll say again, friendly. The food was delicious. 😋 We were already planning our next visit. The atmosphere was sweet and cozy. Also, quirky and fun. So many choices and so yummy!!! Great Experience.....We really liked how the menu was set up. It would give you a meat choice for the sandwich and then the various ways it was available on a particular sandwhich. The food was extremely fresh and yummy!! Portions were plentiful, presentation was really nice. Much more than I had expected from a local lunch cafe. And last but not at all least...the service was 10 out of 10!! They also had an offering of handmade cocktails made with premium spirits. We opted for one of the Bloody Mary options...which was delicious and nearly a meal in itself. Definitely will be going back!

Last weekend I brought 25 members and guests from Spyder Ryder of America Sacramento Chapter to the Pickled Porch Cafe in Angels Camp. They had no problem accommodating all of us. There was room to park and sit when we got our meals. The service here is nothing short of outstanding and the food was very tasty. My sandwich, soup, and salad were all very good! We will be back!

Food was good, atmosphere was nice. Sat outside on the porch and enjoyed a nice lunch. The service at the counter could use some improvement tho. Most were nice, but one young lady was a little unpleasant and acted like she didn't want to be working and inconvenienced.

I asked for light tomato and a bread substitution on my sandwich order and was told that would be no problem. Neither were done, but I was so hungry I didn't care anymore. Overall, they seemed confused about a lot of people's orders, as well. Food was pretty tasty, but the vegetarian sandwich was pretty bland. Sides were good. Liked the pesto mac a lot. food was great! customer service was awful!! the lady at the front who took our order with the glasses had the worst attitude. i can’t even put into words how to explain her attitude and demeanor. definitely would go back if i actually felt welcome there and not a burden! All the other employees were decent.

Went a few months back. Food was good, but the owner was racist, yelling at an employee in front of customers when he was just trying to help, making comments about his English not being good. Disappointed

Took my service dog with me like always to the porch food service great then the owner had a waitress come out not even the owner had the balls to confront me about my dog She did bark once when another dog came by other then that she was a great dog owner needs to stop living up to her nick name Next time you go take your dog As for us will never spend another dime or time at the restaurant

My niece found a hair on her sandwich, and that is completely not acceptable. They need to wear hair nets when cooking for the public. After the hair, we could not eat our food. We dumped it.

I went to the pickle porch for the first time today. I heard so much about it and thought I would like a good sandwich. I have to say the sandwich was excellent, but, I will not patronize this eatery again. When my husband and I were done with our sandwich and were ready to leave, I brought our plates in because I didn’t want them sitting on our table, plus being the first time I didn’t know protocol or policy. When I walked back in with the plates a women (don’t know who she was or connection) started screaming at the boy in the back. The place was packed inside for ordering, she yelled at him in front of everyone. She should have gone back and talked to him and not screamed ! She grabbed my plates. I apologized to her because I meant no harm to anyone. I told her I was sorry I didn’t mean to get anyone in trouble. She clearly didn’t care how I felt ! She grabbed the plates and dismissed me. She totally berated this young man. The sandwich was lovely but because of her unprofessional actions I will not go back.

It was very busy at lunch time on a Thursday. I was greeted with a sour " sorry but I don't even have any numbers left to give you". Not sure how to respond to that. Did she want my wife and I to leave? I ordered and wanted to use our "frog bucks" but no cell signal. As I was about to say I'd step aside while my wife goes outside to load the web page, she says I can't wait for you in a rude tone. I stepped aside. Next couple approached, ordered, and was asked what side they wanted. They didn't immediately know and she said they needed to choose one, followed by a " I don't need any attitude right now". I understand there is stress when you are busy, but no reason to have this negative approach with customers. I've had nice lunches with nice service here before. This time we just left.
