This was my first visit to Bella Bru Cafe. You will have to order your meal at the counter and then you will be provided a number for your table where your food will be brought out to you. The young man who took our order was very friendly. The meal was delivered very quickly which was impressive. As for the quality of the food we ordered the French dip was great but the burger was just so so. Overall the experience was good and my hats off to all the staff. They were fast and friendly and are to be commended.

Very nice cafe, comfortable atmosphere. The customer service was great. I enjoy learning about different coffees, the roast and origin and they explained everything perfectly well. The omelet was cooked perfectly with fresh vegetables inside. I loved the chocolate protein smoothie also. Thanks

Bella bru burger was great. Most balanced burger Ive had this year, tasty, good size patty and the cook nailed the medium rare I asked for. Genuinely should invite tripadvisor or yelp to get a ranking on Sacs top 10 burgers. However the refreshers and water need an update. Water filters a great investment because the waters pretty distasteful. I drink tap water but this one wasnt great. (mint something refresher?) was like iced cough syrup.

First time visiting this spot. Pretty crowded restaurant. But no trouble getting a table. I had the Bella Bru Club. It was very good, but it was a club. Nothing to write home about. It is something that I'd order again. The fries were nice and crispy, and the mango smoothie was pretty awesome! Our food was brought to us, and that was the last time we saw the server. Service could use some work. This place seems more of a coffee bar, with some food options. If you like coffee, there's lots of options for you.

Out of 4 dishes, a tuna melt, a burger, a club sandwich, and the artichoke, two were good. The burger and club people loved there's, the tuna melt and artichoke, not so much. Service was good though, food came quickly, and it's clean and all that.

I was excited to come for breakfast- service was great and quick. Food was not as good as it looked I got the quiche and it just didn’t have the flavor I expected.

Superb neighborhood diner. Great for coffees and espresso and breakfast. Well made omelettes. Great service. Fabulous desserts. More homemade cakes and pies than you can shake a stick at. Even during busy weekends, getting a to-go order for four people took less than 10 minutes.

We visited mid morning it was busy but the line went pretty quick. You order first then find your own seating- they have indoor and outdoor as well as a couple counter seats. Full coffee bar. The atmosphere is high volume but relaxed casual. We ordered the quiche and eggs Benedict. The food was brought out to us in just a few minutes. It wasn't hot but it wasn't cold either. Small to average portions. The quiche crust was a bit undercooked and chewy but the filing was pretty good. Had it been cooked a touch more and served hot it would have been fire. The eggs Benedict were good. It is a great little café with that neighborhood feel.

Our waiter was not attentive, we had to ask 3 times to different people before we got our bread...which came finally 2 minutes after our meal. I ordered a holiday sangria which is advertised as having apples and oranges in it, but didn't come with any fruit. When I asked about it I was told it doesn't come that way and the specials menu is just wrong. Overall very unsatisfied and likely won't be back. Tbh it hasn't been the same since they redid their menu a couple years back, this experience just cements my opinion of it overall

Beautiful atmosphere great place to bring your friends or family especially to the restaurant in the back but so far the only good thing on the menu I’ve had was the mushroom pizza (8/10) the fettuccine with steak I had tonight I’d give a 0 if I could but the atmosphere was nice so (4/10) the steak was dry and tasted like burnt char! For an extra $7 ?? I asked for salted butter on the side and was brought unsalted butter that didn’t help one bit I won’t be ordering that ever again i wanted to end the night good since my dinner was ruined so I tried some of there desserts from Bella bru tonight and I was really disappointed I spent $40 of my hard earned dollars on the chocolate cake , fruit cake , salted caramel cake and banana pie all really flavorless and dry would of been better off getting a sweet treat from Safeway bakery it honestly tasted like store bought ingredients nothing tasted fresh and my family did not enjoy it one bit when I brought it home for them to try the lady who helped me couldn’t tell me much about the desserts and said one of the slices had white chocolate but when my sister tasted it there was no white chocolate so I was purchasing with a blind eye I paid 8.99 a slice and would appreciate my money back if a manager sees this review

I hate giving them a bad review because I used to love this place. Unfortunately the last few times I have ordered take out they have screwed up the order and food was marginal. Ordered carrot cake and it was so old and dried out it had to be thrown out. Called the manager and they did nothing, although they said they would. Last night I ordered a beef dip and the meat was dried out and they forgot the dip for the French dip. Just poor everything and sadly I won’t be back,

I would like to share my bad experience at Carmichael Branch and plan to take further action: - Waitresses there are very ignorant. I was standing in front of cashier and ready to order but casheir did not greet me or call me in to place the order till I have to stare at the person. - I called couple waitresses to clear the table and heard what I said. They told me they will come back but I have been ignored completely for almost 5 minutes, so I have to point out one of the waitress to my table and this person acted like I owe her something. I really feel customer should not feel this way at all and the way she sprayed the table was like she was mad that I point at her to do it. This is really ridiculous. This is my concern and consider to report to California Food Safety. When waitress spray the chemical to the table, they spray to the condiment tray as well. Salt and Pepper do not have any cover, so basically, all chemical went into salt and pepper. I don't think those cleaning supplies are edible. - After I received the food, I asked the waitress to call manager to me, so I can address the issue. Surprisesingly, manager ignored me and went to greet other tables, so I had to take initiate and asked him to talk to me. He apologized but the way he did just only want to complete conversation but he didn't do anything about it. I am not sure I have been treated this way because I am Asian? I feel how I have been treated, so unprofessional. I plan to report about cross contamination to the city. This is dangerous.
