Overall an excellent dinner. The caso was delicious with an extra flavor added. I split the Fiesta nachos and the grilled onions where amazing with the chicken. Others at the table had an enchilada dinner and a taco dinner. The food was great, but the price was absurd. $80 for chips rice and refried beans. Granted we did spend $15 on drinks. A great place to stop for our evening layover.

We stopped in for some delicious Mexican food when visiting family. Overall, the food was fantastic and our server, Geraldine was great. San Luis had the best Al Pastor tacos in my trip to Texas. If you're looking for solid Mexican food, definitely worth visiting for your TexMex fix..

This may have been the best chicken mole I've ever had! The chicken leg quarter was very moist and the rice was delicious. The mole was everything you want, a sweet note and not bitter at all. I tried to buy sauce to go with no luck lol the salsa is also delicious, I asked for something a little spicier, both were delicious

We are visiting Athens from Houston and came here to eat dinner after seeing the great ratings. The food was wonderful. The service was great. We ordered churros to go so we could have them at the hotel and were SO BUMMED to find our churros completely plain without cinnamon and sugar. I’m not sure if plain churros is a thing in Athens or if they forgot to cost them. Either way, we won’t be eating plain dough. Other than that , it was good

Ordered lunch, food was old like it was left over and just reheated. You would think paying 22$ for a single lunch the food would be fresh. Do better

It would have been easier eating my leather boots food was tough as nails and gross i tasted boxes in the trash better then this for 10 x better food go to taco bell or gas station sushi , watress was only bright spot but over charged me for fries when i ordered a tortas

My friend and I went to have lunch there. We ordered the full , two person fajitas. I ordered tea and he wanted water. He only drinks water because he only has one kidney so soda and teas are bad for him. We ordered the fajitas to share because I am on a diet shot and can't eat alot at one time. We were actually charged for chips and salsa because we shared the fajitas for two and he ordered water due to health issues. We did not know that we had to pat for chips and salsa so we were punished for our health reasons. Smh. Also, my friend called and was was told that is just the way it is. The food was great, but we won't be back due to principles. What a scam to do to people. Smh

I had a very awful experience here. I’m one to never complain about anything, but I got overcharged and when I came back to tell them, they all had an attitude with me, super dismissive, and rolling their eyes. I was super respectful about the whole situation. 0/10 definitely don’t recommend!! Me siento como si me discriminaran por el color de mi piel. Muy feo servicio la vdd 👎🏽nunca voy a regresar

Generally every time we go there it is good. But, this time I ordered the Catfish Fillet. My husband wanted Mexican food but I wanted fish. The fish was absolutely terrible and the fries were really greasy. I told the waitress to take it back and just take the meal off of my bill. She apologized and offered to get me something different but I chose not to. We still left her a really really good tip because she was an excellent waitress.

El San Luis Bar and Grill will upcharge and overcharge you if you're not paying attention. 1 Chicken Burrito w/ rice, lettuce and sour cream 1Steak Burrito w/ rice, lettuce and sour cream (Steak wad burnt and trash) 2 Orange Fantas NO SIDES equals $41's! I understand this economy is nuts but this price is bonkers. I didn't hear the price when I handed him my card as I'm a little deaf and it was too late. I called to talk about it and basically was told, we'll the economy is tough... Lesson learned 🤦
