When I was a boy my father would take me to eat at our small local restaurant in Mexico I remember the music the smell of the fajitas cooking the game playing on the old TV in the stand and my food the carne asada plate. Your restaurant had brought a tear to my eye and filled me with a love for my people's food I thought I could only find outside of the usa. I truly have learned to love my culture and am glad during times of uncertainty that people can enjoy such loving food thank you for letting me experience my childhood I can't wait to be back for more.
Eating at Arandinas is an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I stepped foot inside I was greeted with such genuine warmth I felt wrapped in it. The staff were exceptionally kind and patient, allowing for the food to sing a melody uninterrupted by anything else. It is steeped in culture, passion, and love, from the people who work there and the food they delivered to our table. One of the greatest food experiences in Austin.
I have been coming here for years! It’s one of Austin’s best hidden gems for good mexican food. LOVE this place!!!
Their salsa verde is actually spicy, they’ll sell you a big cup of it if you ask nice
I got a reg marg, 3 beef fajita tacos, charro beans, and rice. My only complaint is that the tacos did not come with cilantro. Otherwise, everything was absolutely delicious and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend eating here AND getting a marg with your meal. The margs are strong enough to make me a little tipsy but I am a small person and do not drink much. Very good food.
First time here. You wouldn’t think it seeing from the outside, but the food… absolutely amazing! So far the best Mexican I’ve had in Austin. It was so good. The salsa… so good. The meat in the burrito… (Fajita beef) So good… over all experience. Will come again… and again… and most likely again…
I love this place. It’s been here since the beginning of time so of course the food is great, the plates look awesome, but best of all: I feel comfortable here. They are warm and welcoming to all diners, and if you live nearby and you’re dining for one (or more, I’d bring friends and family here for sure), grab yourself a nice window table and enjoy! Can’t believe I’ve been ignoring this place for so long just because it doesn’t look all slick and modern—it’s great inside!
Some of the best Mexican food you will have in Austin. The menu is all in spanish but it has pictures and you have Google. They give you chips and dip for the appetizer and it's some of the best chips and dip I've ever had. I got the simple beef taquito plate. Tacos were perfectly seasoned and oily from the beef.
I went here knowing it wasn’t super fancy but that didn’t take away from the experience. All the menus were written in Spanish if it wasn’t for duolingo I wouldn’t have been able to make my way through it lol all the staff spoke Spanish and the vibe was definitely that Ghetto Mexican feeling I love. So as I ordered a nice mixed drink only being 11$ and might i say it had more than enough alcohol and was pretty good with the tajin and lime juice mixed in I then tried the Barbacoa and Al pastor with rice and beans and was blown away by the flavor it was amazing! and the bar tender was attentive and passionate. Great place overall and definitely sets the standards high for a good go to experience with all the down town locations the convenience and service just make for a great experience like I’m not fighting over the next guy just to get a drink. A must try for any local! :)

Amazing Mexican food. Highly recommend! Recommend the tacos with carne asada and the frozen margaritas. Staff work very hard to make it a good experience.
Don't let the appearance fool you. This place has great food. Service was good and prices reasonable. Will be back.
Very good restaurant. The mole is on point. Service is great. The chips and salsa go well together. Been multiple times and never disappointed

We don’t eat Mexican food usually but tried this one upon a friend’s recommendation and it was a pleasant surprise. I can honestly say this place changed the way we look at Mexican food. We would definitely come back
Another beautiful opportunity for everyone's favorite 🌎 traveled friend to review an establishment! While in the vibrant and highly "tech" influenced city of Austin, Texas. I dined at Arandinas, which was recommended to me by two employees at JC Penny while shopping! I was looking for the most "authentic" 🇲🇽 restaurant. Not "Texmex or American Mexican!" I will say that I was not disappointed at all! The restaurant was authentic, and the food was as advertised! I enjoyed the portions and the delectableness of each entrée that filled my table! And to add to the authenticness of my experience............. the 🇺🇸 was playing 🇲🇽 in ⚽️ that night! And as always, mexico prevailed that evening. This made for a very "festive" night in the restaurant! Service was above average, and the food was exceptional! Whenever in Austin, Texas, please enjoy an opportunity to dine at Arandinas Mexican Restaurant.
It's the ghetto part of Riverside, which usually means the food is good. Their horchata was soooo refreshing(highly recommend). My enchiladas lacked cheese. The green sauce was a bit too watery for my liking, but overall the chicken was tasty. The pastor tacos have an after taste, im not sure how to describe it, but it was okay. Great rice. Service was quick, and easy. Don't expect anything fancy. My only complaint was how loud it was. Parking here is shared with three other businesses, so it can get a bit cramped.
We found this authentic restaurant after a show at Emos! We were so glad they were still open but keep in mind they are cash only! The food server greeted us quickly and was very prompt with their …
It's decent mexican food, nothing special. My bistec tacos were full of fat, so I had to pick at it. I think the breakfast is much better than the lunch/ dinner. The prices are average for Austin.

Great little hole in the wall mexican restaurant super super delicious. Service is always great.

Went here for dinner after flying in for a work trip. Had the chicken enchiladas with green chile. They were good. Chicken was cooked well. Chile was good and not too spicy. Queso was also good. Nice…
This is a nice clean place. Went in and sat ourselves, but it took a while for anyone to greet or help us. We almost left. I'm glad we didn't. This one place I'd gladly visit again food was delicious. I will admit.I kind of got a sticker shot over the $10 margaritas! Especially since the Potency didn't hit. Not a place for drinks but the food is worth the try.
My first time there.....they must have given me the shitty part of the steak....more thistle than meat....everything was cold...I would not go back....not sure what the ranting n raving about this joint was..... hard to find a ( true Mexican ) joint around here with ( at least ) decent waitress service.....whatever.....
The food was great, but the service was abysmal and I mean absolutely awful. No refills on tea, chips or anything else. Our so called waitress only came when my husband finished his food and set it…
I purchased some enchiladas to go. It looks like my kids threw it together. Taste even worse. I’m currently feeling sick..
I order from favor all of the time and fransisca changed my order, I always order the shrimp appetizer Diablos and to make more money she change it the plate. I cant eat fries, im allergic to avacado. I always have to contact favor support for a refund. My dasher called me and asked if I order cheese, chicken or beef enchilada. It says it on the ticket, they do anything to add charges. Your response is a lie, I work at a establishment. You pay a service to partner with uber doordash etc. I even called the restaurant and Francisca hung up on me. She even blocked my number. Your reviews are terrible.
1. Margaritas are not supposed to have OJ in them.... sent it back and the brought out anther the exact same way. 2. When my enchilada plate arrived, the server didn't give me any utensils. By the time I finally got her attn and she brought utensils the food was no longer hot. 3. The tortillas on the enchiladas were stale and hard.... obviously this had been sitting out a while and was not made fresh. Also, I asked for beef enchiladas and they had mostly potatoes inside as a filler. 4. Bad service. Bad drinks. Bad food. & trash management that doesn't care.
I came in for breakfast and it was criminal...breakfast potatoes reheated, probably from previous day. (Rubbery) The tortillas were warmer than the eggs or refried beans. The eggs had a cleaning solution aftertaste. If you want to punish someone take them to Arandina's. Great reason to call in sick. You could patch a tire with the pork chop. These people have been open for ages. Last time I was in there was about 30 years but the food was Awesome Just Like Kirby Lane Cafe, they have gone waaaay downhill Service was nice. I am supremely disappointed. There are better options, Taco Cabana is your better bet at least the food will be fresh and you won't get a pork chop made of vulcanized rubber. I gave one star but only out of politeness.
I tried this place twice. The service wasn't that great and the food doesn't really have much flavor. I went back the second time because I liked the drinks. So if you want great drinks and food that's not going to satisfy you, this is the spot. Kinda seems like the staff doesn't want to be there, that energy is definitely in the food.
This place was one of my favorite until today. I ordered a mojarra which is one of my favorite meals here. But today sadly there was a lil roach on my food. I was so excited to eat it, when I saw the small bug. I usually bring my team to eat here. Not sure if I will be returning with my staff here. Hope they fix this issue. The manager never showed up, or even comped the meal.
Disgusting food 0/10 not worth it everything feels so rushed and horrible taste. Very sad The torta meat is so thin and has absolutely no toppings just lettuce and tomato. The cocktail de camarón is weirdly sweet and taste like the just dunked a tomato can in there. We tried putting hot sauce to better the taste and its a nauseating taste. The atmosphere is not even a mexican feel they are playing english pop songs. Every employee stares and looks miserable. We kindly asked for a discount and we clearly did not fully eat literally just one bite and they said we already ate half… The pictures show what we ate it was literally two bites to try to enjoy and and we couldn't eat it then they made us pay and completely unacknowledged us and treated us bad. We in no way shape or form were disrespectful at all they just got offended. It ruined my whole family day and mood. Literally sad
