Bouldin Acres is a good choice for happy hour. The environment is laid-back and relaxing, and the pickleball courts are a definite bonus.

Such a fun place to play pickle ball or attend an industry kick off! Place was busy, so much fun! The food trucks wings, fries and sweet potato fries were out of this world! Lots of Sun Cruiser was consumed! Lemonade one amazing, peach even better! Met lots of people and made some new friends!

This place is amazing. Totally blew away my expectations. Lots of outdoor tables perfect for groups. The music level was perfect. They had mist fans going to help with the heat. The tables are clean and it was just a great crowd. You order using the QR code on the table. Within minutes the drinks were delivered. And moments later the food arrived. And the food was so good. It was so fast I thought maybe it was someone else's order. But it was our and so good. Great mix of ages.

This is a really nice place! They have a big outdoor area to hang out in, but you can also stay inside if you want. They offer lots of different drinks, so you can easily find something you like. There's also a food truck where you can order some tasty food, which is super convenient. What I really liked was the pickleball courts outside. You can play a game or just watch others play while enjoying a cold drink. It's a fun way to spend time there. I definitely recommend checking it out!

I started to explore my list of Austin places to visit and Bouldin Acres was on it. I arrived during the weekend just about after it opened at 11:00 AM. There was one or two cars parked in the large parking lot, so at first was not sure it was opened but did see people playing on one of the pickleball courts. When I entered I was greeted quickly. The lobby had a lot of upscale athletic clothes to purchase for playing pickleball. It was similar to a golf or tennis club. I walked through this building and saw the pickleball courts and a lot of outdoor seating with games to play. In the far back was a children’s playscape and a cowboy pool for little ones to swim in. The water looked a little green but it had a pump and smelled of chlorine. I actually have the same thing at my home. There was also a pretty large metal barn with a sports bar inside. This where I took a seat and ordered food and drinks. It was really nice with more indoor games and TVs showing sports stuff. You order using a code on the table which opens the Union website of app if installed. It was pretty easy to use where this place is cashless. The food option is provided by CM Smokehouse but I also saw a taco food truck. The BBQ was unbelievably good and rate it 5 stars. The atmosphere was great even early in the day. Pickelball was the main attraction here but they also have great food and bar service. I had a great time.

This is such a fun, great place to hang out. We came on a Sunday afternoon, it was packed with all groups of people. It is definitely kid friendly and pet friendly with ample space for everyone. The food we ordered was great too. Will definitely become a regular. Can’t wait to come back and buy some merch too.

Overstimulating and very busy but efficiently run, especially given the onslaught of hoards of people who come here daily! The QR code ordering system is shockingly fast. Cute playground. Nice space. Parking can be tough. Limited bathrooms for the number of patrons. Solid food!

We had a great time at Bouldin Acres during our first visit for a friend’s birthday get-together. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the pickleball court was a highlight, perfect for playing and hanging out with friends. The food options were decent, and everything was well-organized. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Bouldin Acres is one of my go-to spots for showing off Austin to visiting friends. It’s got that perfect mix of laid-back vibes and “yep, this is why we live here” energy. The food trucks? On point. The bar? Solid. And the service—whether you’re ordering a drink or hanging out at a table—is consistently great. If you’re visiting Austin, this place deserves a spot on your list. And if you live here? Honestly, it should already be part of your rotation. If it’s not, what are you even doing?

This is a pretty cool place to hang out. The pickleball courts look pretty clean and there was a lot of space outside. However, when I went it was raining so I was not able to really enjoy outside. The inside is actually spacious and has tables for anybody to sit and enjoy their drink. One other cool thing about this place is they have mocktails and non-alcoholic spirits that are unique and cannot be found in most places. The inside is pet friendly and there is a place gate for kids if you so choose to bring them.

First time Coming to this place, while is was enjoyable, I wish i could have actually have tasted the Food, i was Told the Smoked Wings were really good, but when i tried to order, through the app it only Goes through google pay, no other option to input a card of my choice, when I inquired at the Bar , was Told only through the app, While she was very Kind in her explanation. The system in the food trucks could be better a ;Suggestion you give the customer a quest pager; system that chimes when your food is ready. The Prices, 6 wings for 16 dollars and a Tip for impersonal service ? and for a place that says Kid friendly there should be better Lighting at night around the play ground and the pickle ball court , while yes the signage says "keep an Eye on your children, " a Bit more could be done i understand that large amount of construction is happening around and perhaps its already something are working on . It has a lot of potential .

Food was amazing! The service could use a bit more work and it is a bit expensive depending on what you order. They do seem to have good deals on drinks depending on the time. We got the loaded fried and burger. Dog friendly and they provide water bowls.

Be aware of a convenience fee added for mobile orders, and remember to close out your tab to adjust tips; otherwise, a 20% gratuity is automatically applied. This payment system might be overlooked by some, leading to unexpected charges, especially since the self-service model reduces the need for additional staff.

Only ordered drinks and they were good. I had something with bourbon, lemonade and blackberry juice. It was tasty. You had to order through an app and QR code. Fine. However, the app is horrible! All sorts of pop ups covered screens to complete my order. I gave up trying to close out and went to the bar for help. Service was good, but they really need a better app for ordering and paying.
