One of the best burgers around. The beef patties are not too thin so a double is almost too much beef. Perfectly seasoned and fresh. I also liked the season fries and I really liked the shake special of the month chocolate and peanut butter. Can't wait to go back!

Tried this place for the first time today. The cheeseburger and crispy fries were perfectly seasoned. Nice clean restaurant and the staff was helpful and friendly. We also had a milk shake which was so tasty (the sweet tea was also good) I highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon. Thank you to Junior who was extremely helpful and courteous.

I didn’t get a picture of my food because I ate it all so fast. Buddy’s is one of my top three burger places in Austin. The menu is simple and the burgers are so tasty. Do yourself a favor and get the seasoned fries. They’re perfectly crispy every time!! We always do the drive thru but decided to eat inside tonight and glad we did. It was nice and clean and the service was awesome! We will definitely stop in more often

Great smash burgers at a fair price. The bread is yummy and soft like a Hawaiian roll. I recommend the double burgers over the single burgers for a balanced bite and ask for a spicy sauce to go with your fries - it’s delicious. The crew that works there are always super friendly and Orly during my last visit had especially great service. Thanks!

Best fast food burger in town. Don't get me wrong Dan's is a class act but Buddy's just hits different. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean for how busy they constantly. I love this place and i still need to visit their other locations but here are some things thay could be improved. • Ticket number system with a display above the pick up area and on the opposite side of the building. It works great in other countries that I've visited. The main reason for this is because the acoustics in the building are terrible and I always struggle to hear my name being called out. • Bring back the order kiosk! I loved walking in, ordering a double spicy cheese burger with seasoned fries and not saying a word. It will also work well with the ticket number system. • This last one is a want from a coworker. Make it easier from you POS to allow additional add on patties to special burgers like the amigo instead of saying you can only add extra patties on the side. Big eaters are willing to spend more. Here is a photo of a 5 patty Buddy's burger ordered by said coworker.

New spot we came across.. gotta say finally something good in the area and reasonably priced..want a good burger and great fries this is the place.. it has everything...Beer, Crispy fries, great tasting burgers, great atmosphere, employees were amazing and friendly. I have never walked into a place where I have felt so welcomed. The vibe in the place was great and employees vibes were so positive, everyone of them were happy and positive even though it was late in the evening. Even a manager came and greeted us. Highly recommend.

Extremely friendly and clean place. I got the double with cheese and it was so juicy and flavorful. They also serve my favorite kind of fires - crispy with little bits on the outside. Crushed ice. Just delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

As soon as you walk through the door, you’re acknowledged and welcomed by the ENTIRE staff. Ricardo took our order at the register and was very patient with us as we looked over the menu and asked questions. I ended up with the Double Classic with cheese and added raw onions. The burger was absolutely delicious. It came out hot and fresh. Their fries were also so good. The restaurant is also very clean and well-stocked. Give this place a try!

Bright, casual burger place with a simplified menu and several tables inside and outside. I greatly enjoyed the spicy with cheese, seasoned fries, and lemonade. I look forward to trying other burgers and the Mexican vanilla shake. They have several parking spaces surrounding the building and more behind the adjacent building.

I ordered the classic with cheese meal with seasoned fries. The burger was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I really like the sauce that comes on the burger as well. I also like that the burger does not fall apart as I'm eating as that happens with many other establishments from which I've ordered. The fries were cooked nicely not burnt but not limp. Overall it was a very good classic meal that I thoroughly enjoyed. We received quick and friendly service from the staff as well. This is going to be a staple for me and my husband when we visit Austin from now on.

I saw them preparing them when I walked in. I ordered the classic burger and fries. Everything was fantastic. You can order through a kiosk or in person. Someone asked if we needed help and great customer service. The place was fast, spacious and such an enjoyable time.

The restaurant is clean with an open kitchen tou can see the crew working on your food. I got the Double cheese and the group I was with gor the classic with Cheese. Burgers came out great, the meat was juicy and well cooked, the size of the burger is probably my only concern but im a big back so that's just on me 😅. Fries we got the House Fries and the seasoned. The seasoned were good I would say it's like the Mexican Sabritones. The House fries were good just normal salt fries nothing fancy there. Drinks wise they have 3 Home lemonades and Pepsi products. I got stary and the others got Dr.Pepper, and water. Atmosphere was good there's TVs with different sports playing, music was good low enough to not need to yell, high enough to still enjoy it. Over all it a good place although small serving sizes.

Really couldn't taste the beef - fundamentally it was an average burger for Austin. (I had a single cheeseburger with everything.) Tomatoes were on the pale end of the spectrum. The Cajun fries were not that enjoyable after the first couple. Over salted (said as someone who likes salt) and the spicing was cloying after a bit. Fries were cooked well - I would recommend sticking to the traditional. They had beer which I like with a burger. Others at the table had lemonade and said it was good. The staff was friendly and I appreciate that they were actively cleaning after things slowed down. The suggested tips for a counter service location starting at 15/20/25% were a bit obnoxious. Also, calling out names was not very loud.

If I could I would give this a 0. Though, I'll be honest the fries were hands down the best! I ordered the spicy double and that thing was not even spicy! The patty tasted bland. The hamburger was definitely lacking flavors. There were hardly onions and jalapeños on it. If you are going to say something is spicy, make it that!
