I like the chicken because it is grilled and not sweetened. Service depends on who you have at the counter. I normally walk into a place I stead of using a drive through. The atmosphere is okay. They seem to have homeless at times and I know they also need to eat but I rather not eat there when they are in the place. I used to pick up my wife from work and go here for lunch at least once a week until she retired. We would actually take the food somewhere else if the homeless were talking to themselves and such. I didn't see any homeless inside the last few times I went which is infrequent now. Most of the time I get the food to go and rarely eat in there now.

Surprisingly good food for being a fast food chain. The chicken has good flavor, portions are sized well, but the location and the large number of homeless frequenting the parking lot and lobby of the restaurant bring down the rating some. Overall a great place to eat if you are in the area.

El Pollo Loco's chicken is very moist and tasty. We like to order their combo which comes with 2 sides and tortilla.

6/10 The rice is excellent. The chicken is decent but not above average. The beans are average or below. The sauce something is off with the sauce it's not fresh perhaps a combination of flavor plus package to keep their sauces lasting longer. Fresh salsa is key and this fast food chain The sauce. Red sauce and green sauce to me tasted water down if you know what I mean. Again excellent rice but the marinate for the chicken turned into grilled chicken into a rubber like texture? Hmm disappointed but overall it's average to he average. Meal is under $20, you can save money 💰 but its not making me want to go again or try then again. Hmm but I always gove 3x restaurant spots a try could be cooks or service that day. I'll try put Pollo Loco 3x more times this was my first time rating at any Pollo loco location ever. I'll give the 2 more chances in the bay area but at another location.

Chicken is always tender and tasty. The tapatio wings were pretty good, but expensive for the amount you get. The fries looked a few days old and didn't taste anything like tapatio. *They don't really understand English here so be patient when ordering, it may take awhile.

Waited 5 minutes in the drive thru in silence with no response until I said something. No greetings just a quick "hurry up and order" vibe. If you knew I was there, why didn't you say anything on the intercom? You can see my car in the camera and there are sensors. Please speak more friendly towards customers. I'm really disappointed, this was my first and will be my last visit. Unfortunately, the food was delicious, but the drive thru staff showed lack of customer service. I was handed the items with a "there you go" 🙄🥙 by the staff and it felt unfriendly. Are you guys okay? I was really looking forward to coming here because its close to home, but I think it's worth to never go again.

Save your hard earned cash people . The wing I received seemed like a baby pigeon. LOL! Definitely won’t be back. I think KFC gives bigger portions than this establishment. This place is a joke.!

I came here about 1:30 and saw tables filled with trash and spills of food and liquid. The trash was not taken care. My photo shows proof. Even my tray was dirty. I was hungry so I stomached. No Dr. Pepper either.

Got a tostada bowl and some tacos Al carbon. A lot of the greens (cilantro, lettuce, and avocados were brown. You can taste how old the cilantro was from the aroma in the taco

Guy refused to let me pay with card for no reason. It was so obvious the system was not down and I even heard them laugh as I left. Been to other pollo loco locations, this one is very racist drive thru working at 3/1, 10 PM. I waited to see the person behind me pay with card before leaving this review too. Such an unnecessary, unsafe environment

Ordered for curbside pickup. Came right on time, but nobody came deliver my food. Called the restaurant and told to come inside to pick up since nobody available. Went to the front door but locked. Then told to go to drive up. Finally after half hour, got my prepaid order. After got home, realized missing a churro.
