Been waiting for New Amsterdam Burger to open for a while. Finally, the day has come and it is a continuation of the enjoyable experience they provided when they were in Amsterdam. The menu has expanded a bit, picture in the review. We ordered the Sausage Pancakes which were a plain pancake with crumbled chorizo and a honey-lime syrup. I would happily eat this for breakfast every day. Then we got the breast of veal sandwich and the french roast and both were great. The sauce on the veal was sweet and savory and not overpowering or too sloppy. The French toast was perfectly cut and flavor was spot on. We had a side of beef bacon which you can’t go wrong with. The server and staff were super helpful and knowing the restaurant just opened up they went above our expectations. Would happily return and hopefully the menu is updated periodically.

The place is really preaty, but very tight, but the music is great. The staff is amazing, very nice lively waiters. Food Is good can't complian. Had the steak. I do think they need sweet potatoe fries, not impressed by the dessert, I had the peanut butter one.

Great big burgers ,good sides and other choices,French fries are perfectly crispy, service was good, the set up was thoughtful and easy to navigate! Will bring more friends to enjoy a nice meal outside! Only get your burger cooked one way , great toppings if you like. Dessert limited, the fried eggplant was better than expected. Definitely recommend

As burgers places goes this one is excellent.. kocher so no cheese. Their burger made with corn fed beef are delicious.. they just reopen so no alcohol yet waiting for licence. The service is very good and the local itself is very charming. Again good burger...i had a 2 different burgers in different visits, here is the classic with roasted pepers and mushroom.. it was awesom...

it trades as several restaurants which is funny given how small it is. It is a reasonable place - I had a burrito (smelly tortia not fresh) and my son had a burger. Ok if you are in the area

The establishment needs to update their pics on Google! They are inaccurate. The pics show the old location which was a real restaurant and out door seating. We recently tried to go to the restaurant, and were shocked to find that the restaurant in the pictures no longer exists. Instead, it's a delivery/takeout service combined with 1 or 2 other businesses. Needless to say, we went somewhere else to get dinner, which actually had a restaurant venue.

$40 for a burger that didn’t come with a side and was suppose to have mushroom and onion on it, please refer to the photo to see what $40 gets you. Very disappointed, wouldn’t order again

I have never entered a restaurant on a regular day at 2pm and have the kitchen say I will not take orders now. Hard pass Dont ever enter they obviously dnt want your business.

I have never been to a more over priced place in New York. I’ve been here long enough to know that if you decide to dine outside, the food you get is probably overpriced but this one was whole another level. The beef was not juicy AT ALL and the bread buns were so dry and tough, by the time you chew the buns, the beef patty is so tasteless it’s disappeared before you realize you already swallowed it. It was also very inconvenient that they laid out everything that was inside the burger side by side on a wooden plate. I am emphasizing wood plate here because the plate was so cheap and light that when you try to cut it with your steak knife ( which was also hilarious because that thin patty definitely didn’t need a steak knife to cut. A fork would have been enough) the whole plate moves around on the table that you end up cutting nothing. And it doesn’t have side fries or side salad NOTHING. And it costs around 38 dollars including tax and tip. And that menu was the cheapest burger among all other burgers. DON’t GET FOOLED by other reviews. This was the most ridiculous place I’ve ever been and will never come back. Can’t believe this place sells anything with this quality…
