Where do I begin? Papadeaux never disappoints and last night was no different. Started off with their oyster which were great, sorry no pics. I had the Wild Caught Grouper & Jumbo Crab. It came with shrimp, a lemon butter sauce, and spaghetti squash. This meal was 100% on point. Had a nice little kick but flavor was unbeatable. And their vanilla cheesecake was the best way to complete the meal. It was a huge slice and the cheesecake was perfect. Excellent service and a great atmosphere.

Food is really delicious, it’s pricey place as expected, but it’s still a great experience. Staff are very friendly and decent. If you have a special occasion this might be a good place to go.

Like all Pappas restaurants no other produces and prepares food like this family. Even though they are the most expensive they are no doubt the best. If I was rich I'd eat at one of their venues daily rather than once every two years. My favorite papasitas and their Del Mar platter

Always great!! As seen in the photos, a Shrimp cocktail that was cooked to perfection and really fantastic, The second photo is a Caesar salad that I ordered and it was absolutely on spot. I forgot to get a picture of dinner but I had a bowl of seafood gumbo and it was very delicious piping hot and I really enjoyed it. I would’ve ordered more but I was so full after that I couldn’t see straight because I ate way too many slices of Homemade bread. I haven’t had to wait there in quite a while but I’m sure it’s only because the crowds haven’t caught up from the Covid overload. The tables are spaced out but there’s plenty of seating in there. I wish I could remember the waiters name I truly highly recommend him I believe his name was Tony and he was absolutely on spot with everything. Hope to go back soon. Salmon was very delicious!

Trinity was the best, super kind and charismatic. She definitely made me and my boyfriend’s anniversary special. Definitely a pleasant experience for my first time.

My first time ever being at this restaurant and I have to say it was phenomenal! Ashley H and Dorothy D at the bar took excellent care of us. They went above and beyond to explain the history of the restaurant, the freshness of the food and any other questions we could think to ask. They deserve a big fat raise. Other restaurants will take Google reviews and turn them into chances to win a day off or a $50 Amazon gift card that would also suffice for such wonderful service! 🫶

I really loved this place. I had been to the one in Atlanta a few years back and was disappointed. I didn't see what all the hype was about. But this one lived up to the expectations. I sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. Service was great. Food was terrific. I had the catfish appetizer which during haooy hour was like$3 or so. My main dish was the Creole or Cajun shrimp( I'm always confusing them) but is was great along with the cheese grits. It's a must try5. I loved that the place was very diverse too. I felt very comfortable there. I will return.

Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurant is a local restaurant chain throughout Texas. Besides seafood, they specialize in cajun cuisine. As well as mixed and frozen rum based drinks made famous in Louisiana like the hurricane. My personal favorite is the "Swamp Thing". Whenever I know I'm passing through Beaumont, TX, I make sure to stop across the street at Petro Travel Center and walk over to enjoy some of the best food and drink eastern Texas has to offer!!! Everything was very good. We were greeted with smiles from the time we walked in and even when we were leaving. Bridget L was our server. She was very knowledgeable on what they had on the menu. It was five of us and she was great. She checked on us in a timely manner. The food was delicious. I had the seafood platter. Seasoning was just right for me.

We’ve been going to Pappadeaux for years, but we were so impressed with this location —Armonte in particular, is absolutely amazing!! He’s so kind and professional and gave everyone (even my grumpy step-father lol!) an exceptional experience! Food was incredible, everything was fresh and delicious. Ask for Armonte next time you’re in!

The food was amazing. The staff was incredibly efficient and friendly while taking special care of my nut allergy. The space is large and able to accommodate large parties along with individual diners. The service was exceptional especially on a very busy Friday night. The menu you extensive and customizable. There is a lovely outside patio with patio heaters when needed to wait for your table.

We are in town for the Lady's in Leather Bike Rally and decided to stop in here to eat. Greeted with a smile and seated as soon as we walked in, drinks came out in a timely manner. We got the Crab and Spinach appetizer which was very good. For lunch I had the Ginger Glazed Salmon and my wife had the Crispy Salmon and Jumbo Crab. Both dishes were so delicious, the crispy dish is quite a bit so bring your appetite also the noodles have a bit of spice to them. Don't get me wrong the Ginger Salmon was filling enough for me just not as much as the Crispy. Of course I had to go with the Out of the Office drink, I tried it at the spot by my home so I knew I was getting something good. Most likely we will be going back here, I want to get some of the steak and lobster, just hope they don't run out with this Rally bringing in allot of people and the host hotel being right across the street.

Everything was great and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful time eating and laughing with each other. Or server was great and very professional and informative. He knew everything about the menu and that really works for us. We will definitely be back to try new items. I really wish they would bring back the Lobster 🦞 rolls.

My husband and I had a fantastic time dining here for dinner. Brayden was our server, he really knows his stuff! Steak, lobster, crab, and salmon were all super delicious.

Consistently great food. Amazing oysters! We had such a craving for some oysters I am happy to say they were big and fresh. The food is slightly on the pricier side especially for this area but you won't be dissapointed. The portion sizes are also big. The cocktails are great I had the garden of eden cocktail it was nice and refreshing not too sweet. We sat at the bar, but it definitely looked busy so I would recommend making a reservation.

This is a well run spot. The servers are competent and pleasant. The star of the show here is absolutely the food, of course. Most Cajun restaurants stay close to the standard mainstays but Pappadeauxs has some exciting variations. One really cool idea is that any fried dish can be made blackened or grilled as well. That opens up a ton of options most restaurants don't serve.

I worked late on a business trip and decided to come here. The ambiance was great, I loved the restaurant decorations and vibes. I had a cocktail pineapple refresher which was kinda strong but tasted good. I had salmon Alexander which was a huge portion slightly too salty for me personally tho. But overall I had a great Louisiana style dinner.

A treat for the eyes and the palate. Starting with the decor of the 1890's with a brick courtyard and distinctive gaslight in the center of the dining room to the black vest and bow tie Over snowy white shirt with white apron of the wait staff. The New Orleans style selection of seafood, steak and salads should please most every palate. The Calamari was absolutely divine, the house salad with a creamy ranch made with honey bacon and Bleu cheese Is a meal by itself. The ice tea was so distinctive you could almost taste each tea leaf. The eye appealing Blue point oysters served over a bed of ice were exceptional. The steak served to the table by a chef in chef whites was charred to perfection with a distinctive smoky flavor completely on point. This being the 1st visit I left completely satisfied with the atmosphere and the service.

Loved the decor and ambiance right from the beginning. Our waitress Bree was amazing. She made great food and drink recommendations and served our party of 8 flawlessly. There were so many delicious options to choose from and Bree was patient with us out-of-towners explaining the difference between etoufee and gumbo 😋 (no judgement) we had a great meal and a great experience overall. I just dined at Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen with my neighbor, who’s been coming here every day for a week and after this visit, I completely understand why. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and comfortable, and the food was nothing short of impeccable. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, fresh, and packed with rich, authentic flavors. But what truly set this experience apart was Parker, the bartender. In a city where great service can sometimes be hard to come by, Parker delivered some of the best hospitality I’ve encountered in the area. Attentive, personable, and professional, he elevated our visit from a simple dinner to a memorable experience. His knowledge of the menu and drink pairings was outstanding, and his genuine enthusiasm for what he does is evident in every interaction. Pappadeaux’s has certainly gained another loyal guest, and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family especially if Parker’s behind the bar.

Pricey place. Doesn't look like too much from the outside.....but step into another world. No expense was spared in the decoration and design of this place. When you see the beauty of the atmosphere....your expectations for the food just went up....and this place delivers! We started off with the mozzarella appetizer. It was huge! They had cut square bite size chunks of mozzarella and breaded and deep fried them! They also had there own take on marinara sauce which was spot on. I definitely recommend. We ordered 2 kids meals....fried catfish which was super fresh and moist and chicken and shrimp. Great portions both under 10 bucks. I ordered a Greek salad which was delicious and my wife got the cajun chicken. We aren't huge seafood people but like most seafood restaurants, they wisely have other options. The chicken melted in your mouth and the smooth creamy sweet ranch just topped it off. 78 bucks well spent. Definitely will come here again. Oh yes, the service was impressive. Every waiter and waitress were super attentive and despite several requests, never appeared bothered or annoyed. Great job by all!

Absolutely delicious every single time we visit. The fish is ALWAYS cooked perfectly, and I’m very picky with fish. The fondue is amazing and their drinks are delicious and strong. They have been around forever and they have a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

When we tell you this was the best meals we've ever ate.. we've traveled all over the states and South Texas shows everyone up. The appetizers were amazing . Alligator tip drizzled in a honey pepper sauce.. they melted in your mouth. The flavors of each dish was the same. The flavors literally burst in every bite.. anything I say about this restaurant doesn't even give it justice.. we will drive 4 hours to come back down to eat..you possibly can't go wrong with any dish on the menu.. the cheese cake is sinful.. the service was 10 out of 10. The place is delightful.. it was worth every dollar we spent and then some..

My family and I visited tonight for my 40th bday. The waitress, hostess, and manager were all first class. Friendly and attention to detail.. I casually mentioned it was my birthday to the hostess and appreciated the hospitality from all who stopped by to wish me happy birthday. Great food.

Rachel, the manager, was so kind as well. With us being first timers, she offered complementary dessert. If you are in the area or even just passing through, make sure you stop and try out Pappadeaux, and request Parker as your server. You will leave smiling and may even through a little dance in there, too.

My husband and I visited Pappadeaux in Beaumont, Texas last Sunday simply because we were hungry and wanted something good to eat. While we weren’t seated in his section that day, we immediately noticed a server named Devin. Even from a distance, his enthusiasm, professionalism, and overall energy stood out. Fast-forward to this Sunday we returned to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary, and by pure blessing, we were seated in Devin’s section. We recognized him instantly, and let me just say… our dining experience was even better than the week before. Devin delivered exceptional customer service from start to finish. His attention to detail, warm personality, and genuine care for his guests elevated the entire meal. We’ve visited this location many times, and in my opinion, Devin is one of the best servers they have. Huge thank you and big shoutout to Devin for making our anniversary dinner special. His level of service is exactly why we’ll continue coming back!

** August 31, 2025 visit** Such a pleasant visit at Pappadeaux. Great young lady by the name of Michelle who was the hostess sat us. Greeted us with a smile and let us know someone would be there soon to get our order. We had a darling of a waitress names Naomi. She was so very nice, quite accommodating, awesome listener, and top-notch server. She smiled throughout serving us, made sure we had everything we needed and different even look at us odd when we ask for dessert first. Our order was put in correctly and brought out in a timely manner. I loved loved the garlic bread, so much better in my opinion in comparison to what I feel is overcooked French bread that just makes a huge mess from first cut to finish. I hope that Ms. Naomi is gifted with employee of the month, spot bonus, or a raise. She is very deserving of each. Thank you, Naomi, in ensuring me and my husband will be returning guest. The restaurant was clean, smelled great and food was delicious. I will post pictures of food. I got the Seafood Platter to go. **This is my latest review, and unfortunately it is long overdue. My husband had hip surgery and I got behind on giving out my accolades. We got off to bit of a rough start because we were seated immediately but then kind of forgotten about. But once I alerted the staff everything else went very very smooth. Bridget had Javen come to wait on us. Javen was incredible : props to her for seeing tomato allergy card my husband had put on the table. Chef or Mgr Josea was such as helpful in ensuring my husband's meal was prepared with no tomato's. Javen took very good care of us throughout our stay. In closing, I was blown away when Ajee served us our food, followed by asking us how we were doing? I have never had this happen before it was a very very nice feeling.** Keep doing what you're doing Pappadeaux as you remain one of my favorite restaurants. ** We (me and my husband) recently visited Pappadeaux and was greeted by waiter Saul. He was very polite and attentive. He was timely in taking our order and immediately brought out drinks and bread. One thing that stood out to me (and I have visited Pappadeaux many many times as it is one of my favorite restaurants) was before he brought out our entrée. He asked if we were finished with the bread (waited for us to answer before just taking it away) and then used a napkin that appeared to be folded triangular and began wiping up every crumb of bread leaving us with a perfectly clean table to it on. At the end of the meal, I accidentally dropped my stuffed shrimp on the floor while trying to put it in a box. I tried picking it up but my arms were too short. When I mentioned it to him, he used a napkin to pick it up. I am sure he could have just as easily called for another staff who handles that to do it, but I think his excellent customer service skills allowed him to service us from beginning to end to ensure our every need was met. Thank you, Saul, for ensuring we had a spectacular experience while visiting Pappadeaux. Our visit was about two weeks ago, but we were off to travel to Puerto Rico for the week, so this is my first opportunity to write the review.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The atmosphere, the service, and the staff are amazing. My family and I came here to eat this passed Sat, 6.28, and we were seated by a beautiful soul named, Alyssa. She was such a sweetheart, we talked and laughed like we were old friends. Our waiter, Thomas, was awesome as well. He provided amazing service and took care of us very well all while multitasking with other tables. Thank you Alyssa and Thomas for making our visit such an awesome one. Oh yea, the seafood gumbo was phenomenal! I LOVE me some good gumbo and I love seafood so when you combo the both it's the best of both worlds. We'll definitely be back ❤️

Started out with a cup of shrimp gumbo. I could have had a bowl and called it a night since it was a perfect dish for the cold drizzly night that it was. Then I had the red snapper with lump crab. Simply amazing! Then finished with bread pudding and a cup of coffee. Perfect! Service was top notch as usual. Thank you Dorothy and Ashley! This restaurant does not disappoint. Service here is great. Not hurried, but at a pace that allows time to enjoy each dish while never feeling that you've been forgotten. We started with salads and iced tea. The salad dressing was a creamy ranch vinaigrette, and it was delicious. The croutons in the salad were light and crunchy, not at all like the rock hard nuggets most restaurants use. We then had the shrimp and crawfish fondue with garlic bread for dipping. I think this is one of the best dishes I've ever had - warm, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned. The seafood isn't overcooked and stays moist and tender. We also had Mozzarella nuggets, but even though they were quite good we ended up taking them home because we had ordered too much. Our waiter kept us supplied with iced tea throughout our meal. It was a lovely experience.

This location was ok. I made reservations and still had to wait about 10 minutes it wasn’t too bad but nonetheless had a wait. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was lively. They had a lot of celebrations going on. It was a Saturday evening so they were busy. The waiter could hardly keep up but kept apologizing for not checking on us frequently. The food was good as per the usual. However, the crab and spinach dip was salty. We thoroughly enjoyed our entree’s I regret not taking photos. I had the crispy skin redfish with butternut squash which was really good. My sister in law had the grouper with carrots and she absolutely loved it. My mom had the stuff shrimp with a bake potato and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We were celebrating a birthday and was given a cheesecake on the house which was nice. This is a good option for dinner but it may be very busy on the weekends.

The food was delicious. However, several items we ordered never made it to our table, like the crab dip and a salad.

It’s Pappadeaux so the bar is set a bit high already. The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks were perfect. Scenery: 10/10, Service: 10/10, Staff: 10/10. Plan to return. Worth the ride from anywhere.

I ordered the Mississippi Catfish and Shrimp Eutoufee. Now, the presentation was excellent, but the taste was way too salty. I was only able to endure a small portion of this meal due to my hypertension. However, the service provided by the waitress, Mrs. Stephanie, was outstanding.

Nice and friendly atmosphere for family and friends, spacious and lots of seating, I believe it is pricey. Food is good, but for me, it was a little salty and greasy.

The seafood was good very nicely prepared just delicious. BUT, didn't like the Red beans & rice, it tasted as if the water they used to cook them with was from a mud puddle. I'm sure y'all can do better than that.

Delightful seafood atmosphere seated right away appetizer was a gumbo shrimp fondeaux -delicious. dinner was a red fish that was cooked with the bloodline. I did not know that when I ordered it. had I known I would not have ordered it because I don’t like fish with the bloodline, the chef didn’t care and I was not refunded. the greens side dish was good and the truffle potatoes which cost extra as a second side dish to the redfish was decent. my husband enjoyed his fried shrimp and french fries. so basically the only take away was if you don’t like fish with a bloodline ask first before you order it or you’ll pay $45 to eat the accompanying side dish alone.

Thank you. ________ The service was excellent. Everyone's food was excellent except mine. I ordered the seafood gumbo. It did not taste good. You can tell the shrimp were not cooked with the gumbo. They were added in the bowl. The shrimp still had shells on them. Will this deter us from going again, absolutely not. This is a great restaurant. They just made a mistake.

Beautiful location. The only reason I’m leaving a lower review is due to our service. We have never had service like we did this time at any pappadeaux location we’ve been to. After being sat by the hostess, we waited forever to be waited on, close to 15 minutes. I had to get up and approach the multitude of servers standing and talking at the drink station to ask if they knew who our server was. Finally one of the servers I approached got our drink order and then we were handed off to a new server. I happened to see the young male server who should’ve been waiting on us, look at our table annoyed as he mouthed to another server that he wasn’t told he had a table. I saw him glance our way a few times prior to this but he never stopped by to say that he’d be a minute or even acknowledge us. I would think as a sever myself that all servers are given a specific section and should know which tables are theirs to wait on but I could be wrong. The poor guy who took over our table was visibly flustered and sweating profusely though he did a good job with a table that shouldn’t have been his to cover.

Everything was great but the price of the food is out of line. I understand waiting to make a profit but... I won't say but as good as the food is here there is an option that is AS GOOD maybe nkt quite the setting for a lot less money not far from them.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way to Houston. The atmosphere is very nice, especially outside the restaurant but, I went for the food which was mid. The complementary bread was a little dry and nothing special about it. My husband and I shared the fried seafood platter. The fish and stuffed crab was very good but the fried shrimp was your standard prebattered frozen shrimp that wasn’t even devained. This is not acceptable IMO for a restaurant that specializes in seafood. It honestly reminded me of the shrimp you get at a low-end fast food chain type restaurant. We got the Mardi Gras cheesecake special for desert which was amazing!! On a side note, the bathrooms were very clean which is always important to me for some reason. The inside is a bit dated and the carpet smells musty so hopefully they will pull that up at some point. All in all I’d go back but I absolutely would not order the shrimp again.

I came to this Pappadeaux’s for the first time, even though it was late and they were getting ready to close. I was able to put my order in when I got there. Still had to wait about 25 minutes when I got my food. It was cold. It seemed like they just took a little bit of rice that they had left and put it in my tray the rice was clearly leftovers. I’m not sure if they’re cutting their portions nowadays I will share a picture the person that brought my food out and took my order. Amazing customer service even though it was almost closing time that still doesn’t excuse me not getting what I usually get and what I expected!

I went to celebrate my birthday and they were being bias and down right prejudice toward one of my guest. Had several people partaking of a drink he was single out. He only had one drink. The bar was full of guest partaking of more than one drink. Ruined my celebration to single out my guest. Didn't give a good reason why and excuse the bar people. Sad situation to do that to any guest unless they're intoxicated. My guest only had one so he was not. Food was okay a little bland as well. The fondue was better than main meal. Not happy at all.

My server Jenny was extremely annoying and smothering. I could not wait to leave. Please train your staff to learn how to read body language when a customer CLEARLY does not want to be checked on every 5 minutes. I also did not appreciate my shoulder being touched on and to be told to relax when I am dealing with something not concerning her. My goodness.

My daughter and I came here for lunch yesterday. The hostess seated us without giving us a menu. No one came to the table to offer any service. We were made to feel very uncomfortable. Okay so absolutely the most embarrassing worst experience ever. I called to speak with the manager or general manager to see if they could facilitate for my husband and my uncle basically on the house just from me doing acknowledgment on all of my social media pages this was one of my husband and I favorite places to go when we worked in the refineries he is now on hospice in a wheelchair my uncle's heart is working at 15% and is waiting on a heart transplant I wanted to surprise them by doing something nice for them for the Valentine's Day weekend the day after Valentine's day just to protect them and their health from the exposure and the environment so they did not get sick. I have spent thousands there easily in the past. Now all I get is let me take your phone number and someone will get back with you. Wow. I would have never asked how do I still been able to work but you the one of them can be left alone you never know what life is going to throw at you. Glad to see the true colors I will not be back that was so humiliating and unprofessional.

This is the driest shrimp alfredo I've ever had at this restaurant. I bought three different types of pasta and they were all dry, there is not the juicy alfredo sauce in there. I came from Lafayette to Houston and stopped by to pick up some food for dinner. My family and I were really disappointed.

First and foremost I have been to this establishment on many occasions. Today was my first bad experience with them. My party arrived at 730pm on time. Due to the party being large we were only able to choose from a select menus which wasn’t much. I received my ice tea at 745pm and like the rest of my guest was never asked if I needed a refill. The time is now 926pm and I have just received my salad. I’m still waiting on my entree and then desert. Did I mention everyone had to pay in cash and bring $62.25 each? It’s safe to say I won’t be back here for a while…. Well at least with a large dinner party. I was also advised that if I ordered from the main menu it could only be Togo. Come on papadeauxs do better. Update: The male waiter had an attitude when asked for our deserts. He started yelling “who didn’t get their desert” with attitude. All together our bill was over $2400.00. Was it worth it no. The service was bad and the deserts were thrown together. We did not leave until 11pm.

Went here for my son‘s 18th birthday along with our elderly grandpa. I have never experienced worse service nor have I had such a terrible experience that cost over $200. We were there on a Thursday evening with a reservation. We arrived and they weren’t busy at all, most tables were empty. Despite this we were sat at a table next to the bathroom door. Our waiter was an absolute bumbling fool- first he took 20 minutes to even come to the table and greet us after we sat down. Then, he didn’t take our menus until I asked him to take them when we finally got our appetizers. Our food, while priced at a premium, was simply not good. My grandpa‘s potatoes that came with his rainbow trout were completely raw and inedible. My son’s filet mignon was improperly cooked and my salmon was extremely dry and overcooked. We were there to celebrate and I didn’t want to make a fuss so we sat through all of this. Then I got up from the table to remind the waiter that we were there to celebrate my son‘s birthday and that we would be getting a birthday dessert along with some other desserts for the table. Despite the fact that I made it an obvious point to approach him away from the table this young man then came to our table and directly told my son that he was going to be bringing out a dessert for him. Completely ruined any surprise. I was completely dumbfounded. Then he brought the desserts to the table without even saying happy birthday much less singing it- he just sat the desserts on the table and started to walk away. We had no spoons to eat the dessert with so I stopped him and asked for spoons before I could even sing and make it special for my son. Then we sat there for 15 minutes with no spoons to eat with waiting for this guy to bring some. One of the desserts was crème brûlée and it was more of a loose pudding than a creamy custard. Barely any Brulé on top and was really disappointing. Afterwards, I spoke with a manager, who assured me that she would pass along my review of the experience along with a refund request and despite having left my contact number with her, I have heard nothing. We spent over $200 for this horrible experience. Never will I recommend Pappadeaux’s to anyone ever again.
