I stayed at the attached Hilton as I am traveling for work. Tried a good amount of different food from the menu; l personally enjoyed the beef tips with a side of mashed potatoes and the butter chicken. As a solo business traveler, the bar was my home away from home. The bar staff all were super friendly, knowledgeable, and talkative even when the bar and resturaunt were packed. Special shout out to Irene, always made sure my service was top notch and drinks were great.

Had a surprisingly decent time at this hotel restaurant and bar. The house Margarita was actually pretty good—made with quality tequila and on point! But I only had one (because, you know, budget). The tenderloin beef tips as a small plate were cooked perfectly and delicious enough to make me forget I was alone. Service was pretty good, too—no complaints there. The environment wasn’t too terrible for a hotel bar; I’m pretty sure it would've been even better if I hadn’t been stood up. They had a dessert menu packed with tempting options that looked divine, but of course, they were a little pricey—because who doesn’t want to pay extra for happiness? In the end, I bought myself dinner and a drink (at least I know I’m a good date), which made the whole experience feel a tad more expensive than it should have been. But hey, at least I enjoyed the company!

Best meal I’ve had in a while, and I travel often. From the NW, seafood packed, creamy chowder, the cheesy, rich and crunchy flat bread pizza to the generously portioned and thoughtfully made Cobb salad with a home made dressing and tender chicken, and let’s not forget about the mouth-watering Jamaican rum carrot cake with an ooey gooey cream cheese topping. I’m so jealous I don’t live here. Well done to the restaurant team, you’re killing it. Chefs kiss! A special mention to our bar lady that kept us entertained and taken care of. Can’t recall her name, but you can’t miss her, she looks like a Barbie 😊 - didn’t get pics of everything, but here’s what I did get.

The food that we had tasted great for the most part. The butter chicken, in particular, was great for a non-Indian restaurant. The best part about our visit, however, was the excellent service because of our amazing waiter, Hieu. He was very attentive, but not obnoxious, which we greatly appreciated. He definitely made our dining experience a lot more pleasant.

It’s definitely convenient to eat here if you are staying at Hilton Bellevue. Menu is acceptable, but not too many choices. Would give it 4.5 stars if Google had this feature available.

This is an unassuming restaurant sitting at the lobby of Hilton Hotel. Most will expect it to be a breakfast place and a bar at night with average food offerings. Since the restaurant week last year, this restaurant has once again surprised us. We went last year mainly because of its high ceiling and lots of “air space”. This plus the sparse crowd makes it safer in the mist of the pandemic. But we didn’t expect the food to be that good! The lamb lollipops are actually beautifully seasoned and cooked lamb chops. The roast chicken, salmon, steak are not only delicious but generous in portion. Waiting staff are prompt, courteous and friendly. Sitting at the hotel lobby, especially a modest one seems a bit awkward but the space makes it really comfortable during this Covid pandemic. This is a real gem hidden in the quiet part of Bellevue. Excellent food and value. We were there for lunch on Wednesday and back on Friday night with my daughter for dinner as it is one of the very few places with great food but not crowded. Highly recommended!

We just had Easter brunch today here.. outstanding spread!!! Ham and prime rib cutting stations. The au just for the prime rib was really delicious with mushrooms in it. The omelet station was great. The dessert station was delicious.. they had lamb stew, salmon, seafood area with oysters, clams, snow crab. Absolutely loved it!!

I was the only person in the restaurant at lunch on a Thursday. But when I left more tables had joined. Food was fast, hot and delicious. Service was friendly and fast.

We had the place by ourselves. Our server name Anna was excellent. She's attentive without being intrusive. We wanted to have light meal so decided to order small plates instead. Food and drinks were great. Its a good place to have a meal with or without an occasion.

Nice open atmosphere. Food was great. I had the black and bleu which is basically a steak salad with blue cheese chunks. Had a lot of frizee lettuce, which is my favorite, along with other types of lettuce, a light creamy dressing, and halved cherry tomatoes, topped with french onions. Only thing missing from the traditional Pittsburgh steak salad was fries, but the french onions did the job. The steak was tender and cooked as ordered. Closest to home I've had outside of the Pittsburgh area.

Their breakfast buffet is such a delight. They have a chef on site that basically can cook you any omelet or anything that you would like to eat that's not already served on the buffet bar which is pretty extensive. They basically have everything that you would think of a breakfast. A great selection of bread and bagels, a very tasty selection of meats (I dont even know how much bacon I ate) and a great variety of fruits and yogurt. I definitely recommend to stop by if you are staying in the hotel, I used to live in Bellevue and it actually costs us less to have the breakfast buffet at the Hilton hotel than to have it any other place in Bellevue with the same quality.

For a hotel restaurant, this is quite good. I was here with a large party and they were very well able to accommodate us. Our food arrived fairly quickly given how many of us there were and the service was very polite and helpful. The food was quite good as well - I loved the risotto.

Great food - had the lamb lollipops and salmon, both done fabulously! Friendly server, bad advertising. No signs for the restaurant outside the hotel or at the street level. People are missing out on a gem and the restaurant missing out on more customers.

The food was delicious but definitely came in 2nd place to drew's customer service. He made the night for us. A bunch of ladies having a good time, lots of laughs, and he served with patience and a smile

We especially enjoyed Christmas Brunch at Downtown Bellevue's Hilton Hotel's Solarium Kitchen and Bar with the fantastic selection of food, great service, and the talents of Mike Mansour, Piano Man. I have performed as a pianist for over 50 years, myself, and I recognize and appreciate good music. Mike's versatile repertoire is punctuated with his own unique stylings, and his music enriches the experience of the event.

For a place that's in part of the atrium of the hotel complex, the atmosphere is better than average. The food was pretty good and came out quickly. We had a very capable server who checked in on us regularly and brought things in a timely fashion. She was friendly too.

Great mothers day brunch experience!! Definitely will make this a family tradition. The buffet was massive!! There was everything you could ever think of available for brunch. Traditional breakfast items, a person making fresh omelets or French toast, the dessert options were amazing. They also served cocktails!! We really, really enjoyed ourselves!!

I really enjoyed dining at this restaurant during the stay at Hilton. I loved my stay because of this restaurant. I love their salad-so fresh and maybe the best in Seattle? More than anything, all the staffs are very friendly and compassionate and I liked their services from everyone. I felt they enjoy working. Foods other than salad are more like contemporary American, not as amazing as the salad but all the food I had were well worth the price- especially if you think about the location of the restaurant.

Nut allergy friendly: Had no issues with anything I had here. The wait staff even replaced my order when there was an error and they were unsure on nuts in the pesto. (Shout-out to Hieu, great waiter). I stayed at the Hilton Bellevue for four nights, which provided a $30 Food and Beverage credit for a Diamond member with two guests on the reservation. I ate at the Solarium Kitchen once and ordered to-go meals on other days. Time to Appetizers: 15 Minutes Time to Entree: 25 Minutes To-Go Salads: 15 Minutes Dining in, it was always self-seated and wait for someone to notice. Again, shout-out to Hieu for holding down the fort in his section. We ordered the lamb lollipops (5/5) and Northwest Seafood Chowder (4/5) using Hilton Diamond complimentary appetizers. Both were great uses of the voucher. The lamb lollipops came out with two pieces of very tender lamb and a nice side salad. The Northwest Seafood Chowder was honestly comparable to the chowder I had at Pikes Place Market. A little salty, but had real salmon and was pretty good. For mains, we shared a pepperoni pizza and it was a nice thin crust style. A little oily, but plenty filling for two people (4/5). On every other night I got a to-go order. The first night I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the roasted seasonal vegetables which were broccolini, carrots, and green beans. Vegetables came out crispy, a little buttery, nice garlic (4/5). The grilled chicken sandwich was well portioned and came with a nice side of fries, but the chicken was a bit dry (3/5). The other nights I got a classic salad with chicken. Great fresh greens and nice mix of radish and cucumber, but again the chicken was quite dry (3/5). Might be better in person than to-go. Overall, excellent place to come dine while staying at the Hilton Bellevue and their small plates are competitive with other restaurants. I'd say it's one of the best hotel restaurants I've been to recently. Looking forward to dining here again.

The restaurant is located in the Hilton hotel. We also noticed the restaurant had an unpleasant fishy odor - likely due to poor ventilation or the property being quite old. The food itself was decent; we had the steaks and the lamb skewer appetizer. Cleanliness: Pass Service: Pass Vibe: Pass Taste & Flavor: Pass Revisit intention: Not sure

The old Basil's bistro with new owners and new menu. Nothing much has changed in terms of service and prices. It's much expensive than what it's worth but the food is decent. Service is really slow though. Also, try the bread service. It's cheap and some of the best bread I've ever tasted. The Continental breakfast isn't good. Fruits they serve are sometimes frozen and I feel they're leftovers from the previous day. Edit: Now the breakfast quality has improved. Fruits are fresh.

Good, not the best, but pretty good. Fish, burger, pizza for the kids. Service was fast and table was set nicely. Not busy at 7pm on a weekend. Quiet and relaxing.

The buffet was so good, I didn't know you needed reservations, the staff never answers the phone, so we had to sit at the bar. They looked at us and ignored us for about 15 min. I finally got her attention and she acted like I was bothering her. If I wasn't hungry, I would have left. Some other guys came to the bar and she greeted them with a smile right away. Don't know if its bias but kinda looked that way.

Although we made reservations, the space was wide open. We got there at the end of the window for brunch but were able to enjoy the offerings. The food was plentiful and well prepared. Prices were within what I expected. Easy to park.

Quiet Saturday hotel lunch. Burgers were good quality.

Food was okay nothing special for the prices. One of the waitresses was new but she was not attentive we had to go up to the bar and order drinks and she also didn’t make very good drinks. Bartender was no where to be found. Billy I believe is his name was the only one that was helpful and knew what was going on and gave us a great time. Other two ladies could do without. Atmosphere was cool since it’s inside the Hilton so parking was not an issue to Bellevue.

came for week-end breakfast. self-seating. great ambiance and on trend decor. the waitstaff was a bit overwhelmed as limited staff for customer load as they were always on the move. breakfast buffet offered fresh fruits, smoked salmon, custom omlettes, fried potatos, and more. had the 2 egg breakfast for $17, while others enjoyed buffet for $25. pot of coffee was ~$5. the price point is similar to iHop . for the elevated experience, I'd choose the Hilton Solarium Kitchen & Bar every time.

Got the fish and chips for dinner. The breading on the fish was soggy, the coleslaw was certainly not "jalapeno-lime" just regular, and the portion size was a bit small. Also, if that's a charred lemon wedge, I don't know the definition of the word. I also got the North West chowder, and it was amazing. For breakfast, I got the traditional and a waffle. The waffle was a bit underwhelming, not crispy at all. On the other hand, the bacon was crispy, and my over-medium eggs were done perfectly. All in all, and bit pricey for what it was.

When you enter the parking lot the sign read that only cars with passes could park all other towed. We asked when we entered and we’re told that it’s an old policy that is not enforced. - May be should be removed then? At a glance when you enter it looks like a coffee shop by the entrance to a hotel. The service is excellent, our waiter was amazing on every level, very professional. The food looked like it was out of a freezer and not fresh. The ham in the omelette could not be chewed. The avocado toast with poached egg looked like it set out for a few hours and avocado turned pale green. The only thing beside service that was good were the pancake and toast that kids ate. Berry enjoyed the service, if it was not for that I would give ONE star.

I went to it because I was staying at the hotel during a convention. The staff were super nice, which is a change from two years ago. The restaurant and bar were understaffed though. The food... Well... Most of it was good, and when it was not, they were happy to take it off my bill. I would go back there again, on the weekend.

Service could be better. Food is average for the price you are paying. For being inside Bellevue, Hilton did not live up to what I would have expected.

S

Quiet business crowd. Lots of seating. Probably better suited for a quiet client dinner or drink then a night out with friends. The food did not impress. The alcohol was priced a bit too high.

I came here for the weekday breakfast buffet last month ($25 + tax + tip) and left a bit disappointed. There were many servers and very few guests, so I did get a lot of attention and they were quite nice and accomodating. So I hate to leave a bad review. But the food was not great. I didn't like the bacon at all. It was nice that they had a free omelet station and that was OK. They made me a fresh waffle since the pre-made ones were cold, but it's just like the basic type you make your kids. The pastries were not appealing. The oatmeal was good. I wish they had a more healthy/fresh focus, such as whole grain foods, salad bar with mixed greens, etc. might eat there if I was staying at the hotel, but wouldn't come for the buffet. Maybe the a la carte menu items are better. The next day I tried Eques at the Hyatt Regency and it blew this place away for like $4 more. That's now my go-to for weekday breakfasts.

Nice and comfortable setting. Buffet was adequate. Very simple menu. Sausages were not even lukewarm, it was cold.

Stopped in for breakfast while at a conference, great service but bland food. I’d search out other options in the future.

Decided to go somewhere new for mothers day and we were disappointed in the overall experience. The mother's day Buffet was ok at best. Dry chicken and salmon. Constantly running out of food, and just not a big selection for the pricing. Plus the ridiculous 21% added gratuity for a buffet where the only service you're getting is someone coming around and bringing you a mimosa is out of this world. For the price of about $375 for 4 adults (plus 2 kids which are free) to eat is just insane. Wouldn't go back.

R
Roy Senberry

Food was acceptably sad and the menu and seasonings were all over the place. The steak was salty, the fish was bland, the salad lettuce were large pieces, "popcorn shrimp" was actually Asian honey walnut shrimp, the seafood chowder was not at all hot but lukewarm and very thick. Service was slower though the place was busy with a lot of hotel guests ordering lunch. Parking was easy as this is inside the Hilton hotel. Park on the top lot for the quickest way. Ambiance was confusing, it's a kitchen and bar designed like it's on an outdoor patio yet still indoors surrounded by the Hilton's beige walls. A very stale design.

Staying at the hotel seemed convenient for the family to catch the elevator down and patronize Solarium for breakfast but its a brutal rip-off. $80 USD + tip for a very average breakfast buffet for 2 adults, 2 kids under 12. I asked the server what the breakfast buffet price was (it was not listed on the menu), he noted $15 but when the bill came that was the kids price, adults $22. Had I known that I would have taken my family to a place where $80 buys alot more than a bland menu of sausages bacon and scrambled eggs. Travelling families avoid this place.

A

I'm usually someone who only rates when a place is very good;however, this place was extremu subpar. The price was expensive, about $50/person, the food was undercooked on multiple dishes (the fish and chicken Alfredo), the staff wasn't very attentive, and I will never be going back. We would have had better tasting food had we gone to the food trucks available outside.

Alfredo had that skin food gets from sitting out, plus a chunk of mozzarella-- just a chunk, not melted-- on top. Not impressed.

My husband and I went for dinner on a Sunday around 7 pm after a long day of travel. The restaurant did not appear overly busy however it took a good 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by staff. We were never asked if we wanted drinks. I was pleased with the caramelized pear ravioli I ordered but my husband's New York Strip steak was covered in too much glaze and peppercorns; a good piece of steak should be accented by accompaniment, not drowned in it. Overall I thought the food wasn't bad but the service was so lackluster that we will not go back.

J
Jennifer Hill

We had a business dinner here. I ordered the filet and the steak itself was OK (I wouldn't give it better than "ok"). However, the peppercorn demiglaze tasted burnt. I'm pretty sure the mashed potatoes were instant and they were out of baked potatoes. The carrots were all over the place - some were soft, some were firm. The greenbeans were still crunchy. Some of my colleagues ordered cocktails. The waiter didn't use a tray - he just carried them out by their stems. Then he set them down onto the table and moved them in front of the people who ordered them by picking them up by the rim. Honestly, it was kind of gross and really tacky.

We made a reservation for our anniversary dinner and when we got there we were repeatedly ignored by the hosts/ servers. We finally got someones attention and they told us that it would be "quite a while". Ive worked at restaurants before and I get that things can get crazy when you're understaffed, but half the tables were unseated, and honestly it's not that hard to quickly seat someone and tell them it might be a minute, I would have been happy to sit down and have a drink and wait. And also why would you accept reservations if you don't intend to honor them? Extremely bad vibes.

S
Saad Malik

Came about 45 min before closing. Seated myself as indicated. Left after 15 minutes of waiting to be served. Multiple waiters walked by and didn't even bar an eye towards me. Probably way understaffed restaurant. Would not recommend

B

Best case scenario: fabulously overpriced mediocre cold food and beyond glacial service and beer in a plastic cup. Literally walked back to the kitchen after half an hour of waiting to inquire where the check was that we’d asked for. Not busy, not complex orders. Just bad.

F

I had dinner at Solarium for New Year's Eve dinner. The menu was limited, I ordered Halibut which it was tasteless and robbery but I ate it anyway, as a result I got food poisoning, I was sick the following day. I tried several times to contact the restaurant to reports the food poisoning, I was not able to talk to the restaurant manager but I left a message for him, however he never returned my call.

L
Laeo Light

I wish I could tell you all the things wrong with this place but I don't have enough space in this review. The important bits are this: The staff are extremely rude and bad at their jobs, the management never schedules enough workers despite knowing events are coming, the bus crew will ignore you as you speak to them and walk away, the food is underwhelming and overpriced, and the atmosphere is awful. The restaurant is half full and there is ONE server. Considering the complaints have been consistent for years you can safely assume the management refuses to change. DO NOT COME HERE.

R
Regina Watson

We were at a board game convention and decided to have dinner at this place. Besides having to wait to be seated - even with a huge number of available tables - the wait between ordering and getting the food on the table was completely out of standards. A wait of over 90 minutes to have our dishes ready. A severely understaffed crew, it seemed they had only two waiters with the sole function of delivering the dishes. We tried to look for more waiters in the adjacent hall, and incredibly, none of them even made eye contact. They were quite busy with their phones or anything else but attending to customers. We left frustrated and unable to understand if the problem is lack of employee training, lack of a more attentive manager, or complete indifference from the entire hotel staff. Therefore, based on our experience, if you're at an event or expecting normal service time, look for another place.
