This is a great sushi place. We had the shrimp tempura, takoyaki and the chicken dumplings. All three delicious. After that we had the scorpion roll, and the dynamite roll. Both were great as-well. I recommend this place to everyone.
This is my third visit ton this establishment. Pulled a winner today. The hamachi and sake sashimi was some of the freshest I’ve had in quite a while. A little Agedashi Tofu for course two, and finished purse three with Katsu kare don. It was comfort food that took me back to my mother’s kitchen. I left happy and satisfied. If you are ever in Ft. Worth, do check this place out.
This was my first visit to this Japanese restaurant, and the taste was absolutely awesome! The sushi rolls were fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor, and the ramen was rich, savory, and perfectly cooked with tender pork, seasoned egg, and delicious broth. The presentation of the food was beautiful, and everything tasted even better than it looked. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese flavors, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Please visit once—you won’t be disappointed!
The Taiwanese Soyu Ramen was incredible. The coffee was also really good. Also, The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I especially loved the salmon nigiri, it melted in my mouth, and the specialty rolls were both creative and delicious. The menu also had a great variety of appetizers and drinks to complement the meal.
Absolutely loved dining at Sakura! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—especially the sushi rolls and ramen, which were a standout. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautiful cherry blossom decor that makes the experience even more special. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Whether you’re craving Japanese comfort food or a sushi night out, Sakura is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!
I recently had a dining in this restaurant and it was thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing , flavorful. Pricing was fair given the quality of the food and overall dining experience . Overall, I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and comfortable environment .

The service was fast and super friendly—our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and clean, perfect for a casual lunch or a dinner date. I also appreciated the generous portions and reasonable prices. Definitely a hidden gem in the Benbrook area! Highly recommend the Hotcheetos Roll and golden delight roll also Chicken Hibachi—you won’t be disappointed! 🍣🔥
This Japanese restaurant was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the cozy, authentic atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. The service was professional and friendly throughout. The food? Exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the ramen had a deep, rich broth, and the tempura was perfectly crispy without being greasy. You could truly taste the quality in every bite. And just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any better …they brought out Dubai chocolate for dessert. What a surprise! Smooth, luxurious, and with a flavor that melts in your mouth… it was the perfect sweet ending to a flawless meal. A five-star experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy world-class Japanese cuisine..with a sweet twist from Dubai!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was incredible—we enjoyed crab rangoon, sushi, and ramen. The service was top-notch, and the owner was exceptionally friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. They offer a wide variety of sushi options, so you can choose exactly what you want, and the staff was very helpful in guiding us through the menu selections. This is definitely going to be my regular as they serve to go as well.. recommended!!
I had a great time at Sakura Japanese Restaurant! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and each roll was beautifully prepared. I tried the salmon nigiri, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The ambiance was calm and inviting, with traditional Japanese décor that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was attentive, and the staff was friendly. The only downside was that the prices were a bit higher than expected, but the quality of the food definitely made it worth the visit. Highly recommend if you're looking for fresh, high-quality sushi!
Love the atmosphere cause it's very quiet in there, and you can hear yourself think. The food's pretty good, but I like thin Teriyaki sauce not the thick. I've been there twice and the service isn't that good because they don't bring out everyone's food at the same time. I waited almost ten minutes more than the person I was with, after they got theirs!
We ordered ramen & sushi, and overall the experience was good this time. (We've ordered before, but never gone in person) My only complaints this time are that I ordered my ramen spicy & without green onions, but it didn't have any spice added & was topped with green onions. It was also slightly annoying that we ordered sushi but didn't get any chopsticks. (This seems to be an ongoing issue since I've ordered sushi multiple times & never received chopsticks.) The sushi is always good. Today was our first time trying the ramen. despite it not being spicy like I asked for, the broth was very flavorful. The marinated egg on the ramen was perfectly cooked & seasoned.
We dined on a Monday evening and the place was completely empty. The 1st thing you will notice is the HORRIBLE smell, like straight sewer gas. It took about 15 minutes to acclimate and to be honest we almost walked out. There is a leak somewhere that needs to be fixed. The hostess was very friendly. They will *not* tell you about their all-you-can-eat menu. You have to ask for it. Their standard pricing is far too expensive for a La carte so do AYCE or don't come. The rolls we ordered were all superb. The fried rice was surprisingly good. I loved the Japanese pop music. I don't think the owner, Mr Ganesh, truly cares if this place succeeds which is unfortunate. The carpet is disgusting. This location has also always been questionable when it comes to the property owner who doesn't seem to take care of the tenants. An overall ok experience, good food, friendly service, but subpar dining conditions. There are better options elsewhere for similar or cheaper prices.
I took my mother and brother out to dinner here this evening and the food was amazing! The service on the other hand was honestly some of the worst service I've ever received.. I'm assuming they get a lot of DoorDash or Uber orders because the one waitress that was working seemed to have her hands full with that and not taking care of the dining room customers. We sat down and waiting at least 5 minutes until she took our drink orders and another 5 for the drinks (in an empty restaurant) When we asked about the all you can eat she seemed very upset but was accommodating to my autistic brother who doesn't eat fish and let him get the hibachi while my mother and I enjoyed the all you can eat.. I had a question about the menu and asked her politely when she was finished with a customer I had a question for her and she rolled her eyes, didn't say anything, and walked away.. I'm sorry but if I'm paying $100 for 3 people to eat I would expect better customer service. The cook was very nice and full of personality and even came to the front to help the waitress when she got overwhelmed with online orders. A couple came in after us and we exchanged words about the service to which we agreed could be a lot better.. a family of four walked in and sat down then left after a few minutes of no service. Overall I'd eat here again but probably just get take out to avoid the unnecessary attitude of the waitress.
For context, I have not left a bad restaurant review in years. Came in a little after 12 on a Saturday for the advertised buffet, for a quick bite. There was no buffet. Only 1 other couple were there. Sat in front of cashier stand. My table had a 2 Inch wobble in it, Hostess watched as I shoved sweet and low packets under the leg to make it stop. Ordered a Bento Box with teriyaki chicken. Took almost 30 minutes to come out. The chicken bits were inedible. They were hard dry and stringy. Tasted liked cooked way before and then dried out. The vegetables were mushy and the whole thing was way too salty, and I salt literally everything I eat. I ordered fried rice, got white rice that was cold, in clumps and hard on the bottom. I told the hostess, she said she would talk to them, maybe they boiled it this morning?? She gave me a 1 dollar discount. Won't be back.
