Alfred Coffee

I came in today having a very stressed day and didn’t know what to order, crissy was so so sweet and recommended me something very delicious and her sweet attitude made my whole afternoon a lot better! Will definitely come back before work again.

Visiting from Toronto, Canada and I truly enjoyed my visit to Alfred Coffee. Located not to far from my hotel The Maybourne and makes for a good morning walk. Rob was amazing in the short time we got to chat and made me feel at home. Atmosphere is great as there's lots of seating and visually appealing items located throughout the store. Highly recommended if you're seeking a neat coffee shop nearby.

Fast and easy mobile order! My coffee was perfect—great flavor and made just right. Love how quick and convenient it was.

A cute small spot in beverly hills; the staff was super nice but I think I got there later in the day so nearly everything was out; it's a shame becuase i enjoy their breakfast burriots. I got small coffee and left since the area is nice to walk around. I think this location is busy since it's two big streets that cross so it's hit up by locals, tourists, etc.

Came in today to grab a cup of Joe and pick up a too good to go bag on my way to work. And I quickly remembered why my family and I stopped stopping by here. I walked in granted maybe about 20 minutes before closing I was not greeted or asked if I needed help as I was waiting for about five minutes at the pick up counter. All the employees granted were busy doing whatever they were doing, but the barista closest to me. Who’s later name I learned was Kevin, did not come off friendly at all. Now I get it maybe he was annoyed because there were a small group of people and myself walking in about 20 minutes before closing but still nonetheless Kevin should have at least said hello. The drinks here are always good and like I’ve said it before And my other Alfred review reviews, Alfred gives fantastic to get to go bags. But the customer service here has always been terrible. I hope Kevin was able to enjoy the rest of his day and possibly has a day off tomorrow.

The employees are nice and the food and drinks taste great. It is very expensive though - $9.75 for a Small Vanilla Latte with an extra shot. The bagels are pretty small. Parking isn’t incredible, there is a nearby lot but you have to pay. Picking up a to go drink ends up being an expensive trip.

Long story short the police come, the shop was packed and we all moved out of the way while the police point their taser at him. We all watched in silence as they eventually convince the man to turn around, and they arrest him and escort him out. It was pretty terrifying. The baristas kept working and no one said a thing. After the man was escorted out they just acted like nothing happened. I think the shop would have benefited from apologizing to the customers, maybe offering a free drink for their experience. I know it wasn’t their fault what happened but it certainly impacted the experience. The manager handled the situation calmly, and I got the impression this wasn’t the first time this has happened, but it definitely impacted the day for everyone in there.

I got a lemonade and I didn’t like it I then asked the lady to change it to me she was upset she didn’t say a word to me but she changed the drink. I didn’t like her way of looking at me and also not saying anything back to me was kinda rude, she also aggressively through the cup in the trash. Bad service. If you don’t want to change my drink just say it.

Was in the area so stopped in to grab an iced coffee & egg/cheese burrito. Ambiance is cute & clean. The staff was super friendly however the latte at first I thought was too sweet but realized they didn’t bother to stir in the syrup at the bottom, & the burrito was extremely bland. Not worth the money.

Unlike most other Alfred coffee locations in the area, the staff here at BH doesn’t seem to know or care about the difference between a flat white, a cappuccino or a Gibraltar. You’ll get whichever one they feel like making, instead of what you order. Based on my 5 orders over the last month at this location.

Commentary Walking

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE DO NOT COME HERE!!! Similar situation as another review regarding the bathroom, was SCREAMED at in front of the whole place. Staff was extremely condescending and rude. I have never been talked to that way. Whatever you do, DO NOT COME HERE. Go down to Starbucks down the street where you won’t be treated this way.

They have no base knowledge of coffee and they work at a “coffee shop”. When asked “are your coffee beans on the acidic side?” And the cashier answered by re-asking the question. Also, if you work in the service industry you should atleast be attentive, it was either their last day working or just dont care.

We had coffee here and asked for bathroom which they said “we don’t have bathroom “… this is against California food code. Every business that provides food or drinks must provide bathroom. Saying you don’t provide bathroom is illegal.

The vanilla latte was good, but service was really slow. The staff were talking to each other, laughing and that way they were even slower with our orders. I also ordered burrito for which we waited 20 minutes and when we asked them for it they started making it then.
