Great lunch spot! The wrap with side is a great deal for a lunch. I had the chicken vindaloo with jeera aloo and my partner had the butter chicken with chana masala and both were delicious. It was a decent amount of food but you won't feel overly stuffed. The addition of the coleslaw in the wrap add a nice crunch and their curries are great. The ladies working there were very friendly. They have a decent amount of seating and a restroom in the back.
If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. My wife, Deepali, and I stumbled upon this hidden gem during our vacation in LA, and what started as a quick stop turned into us eating four straight meals here. Yes, it is that good. We have traveled across many U.S. states and tried Indian food everywhere, but Bollywood Zaika is by far the best we’ve ever had. Every dish we tried—from the Paneer Tikka Pizza and the Bombay Sandwich to the Dabeli, Dahi Puri, and Pani Puri—was phenomenal. Their Dal, Baigan Bharta, Chole, and Tava Fry Veggies paired with fresh Garlic Naan and Roti match the flavors of any 5-star restaurant in India. Beyond the food, the experience is pure nostalgia. The platter concept and the Bollywood-themed decor immediately transported us back to our favorite street food and restaurant memories of growing up in Mumbai. What truly sets this place apart, however, are the owners, Urvi and Viraj. These sisters pour their hearts into their guests. They make you feel like you are eating with family in your own home. We truly feel we’ve found friends for life. We’ve already vowed to travel all the way from Greenville, SC—thousands of miles away—just to experience this magic again. A note for locals: They also offer catering! The sisters shared some photos of their event setups, and it looks like the most exquisite catering experience you could imagine. Whether you are a local or just visiting, if you haven’t been to Bollywood Zaika, you are missing out on the best Indian cuisine in the country. We can't wait to come back!
Bollywood is a must stop in Redondo Beach. It is on PCH in a little strip mall. Parking is easy and free. As soon as you get out of the car these wonderful smells of Indian food hit you and you have to go in, you are summoned in. It smells great, you know it is going to be great and your night is made. You can dine there, it is a small place, but they have several areas for seating. It is comfortable and you are in the aroma of the food. The night we were there they had a man outside with a grill. When we left we asked what he was making. It is some sort of round pizza size plate that I am sure is great. We will have it next time. You walk up to the counter and they have dishes in heat and they also make food in the back. We decided to try their 2 mains, 2 sides. It comes in a great tray separating the food. It also comes with Indian bread. I can't do much spice anymore so I had these wonderful potato cubes with the best spice and not too hot. I also had two of the best curry dishes and I ordered garlic naan. It was the best garlic naan I have ever had, it was fresh and had a butter garlic on it. I will always get that. Both my curries were great and they serve it over the best rice. My husband went for the spicy curries and lentils and spinach. He was in heaven and loved it all. The service is so great. I told them I could not do much spice anymore and they told me exactly what to get. We even tried an Indian type 7 Up. That was not great for me, but others will love it. They are just super nice, proud of their food and you will want to return. The prices are super fair and there was no wait time at all.
"Love this place! 😋 Indian food with amazing spices, wonderful atmosphere, and top-notch service. Sev poori is my fave snack and the tikka masala pizza is a game-changer - even the pickiest eaters devour it! 🍴 Highly recommend trying it out!" Tikka masala pizza is a GENIUS fusion 😂👌! Kids love it. That's a win-win!.🍴
Place for one who loves Indian food on the South Bay area. Vada pau and wrap must try. Samosa chat and bhel, sev puri are good for chat items. Vegetarian options are also available. The dining area is not a big yet option for dining in. Friendly staff and quick service. Recently tasted Baigan Ka Bhartha…awesome Adding review for Methi paneer Sabji-delicious
This is a great family run restaurant in super convenient central location. The service is fast but the food is so flavorful and made with love. The chef was happy to explain all the different dishes and flavors.. so don't worry if you are not super familiar with Indian food as this restaurant is very approachable. They were offering two vegetarian dishes one spinach and one eggplant and both were excellent. Quick serve with great slow food is a perfect combination for the fast paced health conscious lifestyle in the South Redondo / Hermosa Beach area. If you have not tried this restaurant or think you don't like Indian food please stop in and chat with the proprietor.. do yourself a favor and try it.. outstanding food and service at a very fair price. Bollywood Zaika is a fast, flavorful, welcome option in King Harbor Plaza.. between PCH and Catalina right by the post office.
Great food, great service! The food is delicious and better than most other Indian places I have tried in LA. Great portion sizes and prices. I normally get a chicken curry with rice - and the Bhuna chicken is perfect if you want something spicy. Chicken kebab curry is a very nice flavour change from the usual spices and butter chicken is pretty good too! I also got the vada pao and I’m very happy i did! I asked for the spicy and they delivered :) felt like I was back home again with this vada pao! They let you taste curries if you are unsure which is very kind and generous of them.
I loved!! Different from what I’ve previously had. It was flavorful but not too crazy in spices. The young lady was so nice and suggested some great options. I really enjoyed the butter chicken super creamy. Will be coming back!
They definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to food. Family owned and managed and they’re really good hosts. The food tastes authentic and not westernized. The menu ranges from fast food to full meals. Their service is homey. They definitely try the vada pav, dabeli, masala chai, Bombay style sandwich, sev puri, pav bhaji. They even graciously gave us curries to taste. Def recommended to anyone wanting authentic taste.
Visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago on a weekday. Very nice and cozy restaurant with ample of Indian dishes available on the menu. We tried sag paneer, dal makhani, naan, masala chai and rice. The curries and dal were really delicious. They also had alu gobi, chhole chana and some eggplant curry on the menu. If you are going in a group, they do have a family combo meal for $60 which serves 3-4 people. On side they also keep various soft drinks including Mango lassi. We did buy mango lassi and it was really good as well. We wanted to try their date and walnut ice cream but they had ran out of that flavor. The staff is super friendly and I believe they do allow tasting of curries before you purchase, which is really helpful in case you want to try out some new dish. The restaurant is in a strip mall and it has ample of parking. We found parking right in front of the restaurant. :) Overall we had a really good experience and will definitely visit again when we are in the town.
My first time to this place. Quite impressed with the cleanliness and the way things were organized. Small place with wonderful choices of Indian food. 1. First we took Vada Pav with medium spice. It was probably the best Vada Pav we have tasted till date. The chutney used was so yummy. Medium spice level was spicy enough. 2. Then we tried Amrithsari Naan. It was tasty and filling. A naan stuffed with Channa and Cheese was a unique dish. The staff were pleasant and kind. They even offered us Saag Paneer to taste which was pretty cool. So, this is a place to visit again and again. I have to try other delicacies here.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant/cafe in south bay! Their food is authentic, fresh, delicious and served with love! Excellent service every time. I have tried a bunch of things but today I tried their Dabeli for the first time and they were very kind to make it peanut free for me! The original recipe always has peanuts and I can’t do it anymore so this was a very special treat! I also love their wraps, their vada pao and their pao bhaji. Oh and don’t forget about their desserts! Super yummy kulfi!

You guys nailed it and i literally remember mumbai when i was small and I use visit my grandparents house. Excellent hospitality. Thank you Lots of love and blessings for you guys.

Had their butter chicken and wow that was so good. We ask more spice and it HIT perfectly. Chicken also very tender. Will be coming back alot!
We ordered catering from Bollywood Zaika for our department’s holiday lunch at work, serving around 40 people, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The email communication was very efficient, and the manager was extremely helpful in guiding us through menu selection and responding promptly to all questions. The food arrived on time on the day of the event, and the delivery person helped with the full food setup, which made the lunch stress-free for us. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were a big hit with the entire team, and the veggie samosas were especially delicious. Everyone was very pleased, and I would highly recommend Bollywood Zaika for corporate catering or any large group event.
I’ve been coming here for their take out for a couple years now. Their food is outstanding! The Butter Chicken and Chicken Tika Masala can’t be beat. They have a dinner version where you can get two sides, rice and a main layered on top of the rice. I usually split the main into two different choices. My husband and I share that plate and we have leftovers for my lunch the next day. Absolutely delicious food! Folks that work there are always pleasant as well. Love this place!
I've only been here once, but I was drawn in from the fragrant aroma that filled the air while I awaited food from another restaurant nearby I had already ordered from. But the air smelled too good to not search out from where it was coming. I walked in, was warmly greeted by two ladies, and right after I told them I was just looking at their menu as it was my first time there, they offered me samples. I made sure to let them know how grateful I was but that I had already purchased food elsewhere so couldn't buy anything, but they insisted I still try something for next time. Well those samples were so incredible on my empty tummy, next time came much sooner. I left after enjoying the samples, picked up my other food, drove about 4 miles home to eat the other food, but could not stop thinking about what I had just sampled at this place. Since my other food didn't fill me up, I drove right back to Bollywood Zaika for a full platter of flavorful goodness. Hands down the BEST Indian food I've had in my life. And today, I was visiting my family again in the area, and came for more but they were closed for the evening. So instead, I decided to write a review as I reminisce on my last experience months ago. It was that good. Incredibly yummy. Highly recommend! Be blessed in Jesus! John 3:16-17

The menu has a good selection of snacks and main dishes. They cater for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike with some vegan dishes. The currys are pre-prepared and kept in the counter. The staff were friendly when I placed my order to eat in, however it appears that they get far more take-out orders. I ordered the methi paneer and 2 x parantha. I was given my food in a take out container and had to find my own cutlery. The parantha was freshly made and delicious and the paneer was hot and well flavoured. My only criticism would be that when dining-in, the food could have been served in a tray and cutlery provided with a bit more restaurant service. Nonetheless, the food was good 👍
I was in the Redondo Beach neighborhood so figured I would try out this place. First and foremost the host of this place were attentive and very helpful. They asked if I needed help picking from the menu and made a few suggestions. I figured I was pretty familiar with the cuisine so I picked the Vada Pav to eat in and the Goan fish to take home for my wife. The Vada Pav was filling and tasted good. Its a good snack to have when you are hungry. The fish was decent too. My wife felt it was okay however she was not head over heel with the dish. I also had a cup of masala tea when I was in the restaurant. The tea seemed a little watered down but the taste was fine. There is ample parking in and around the location and they also have seating inside the restaurant. Not a bad place to get some Indian food. I understand they also have some food by the plate where you can mix a few items. They have a good range of vegetarian and meat dishes on the menu. The accept credit cards, cash and Apply pay. Overall good place to try out.

I ordered 2 dishes - Bhelpuri and Chicken curry + lentil (curry) over rice. Bhelpuri was alright - they could’ve used different type of puffed rice that soaks the sauces well. The boneless chicken curry had white & red meat mixed and it didn’t give me the comfort of quality food. Chicken curries were kept on slow heat and maybe was kept for long thus hardening the meat. Overall, I would rate it 2 star for the food quality. I must say the service and ambience was good.
I wanted to like this place, but it’s about as mediocre and bland as Indian food can get. Every dish was small in portion, lacking any kick and almost too sweet, like it’s been modified for the American palate. I understand why they might do this, given it’s in Redondo Beach, but it just doesn’t hit the mark for true Indian flavors. The one upside is the friendly staff and fast service. The interior has more of a food court vibe; you order first and can eat inside, but it’s definitely geared more toward a to-go experience. Sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend it, and I won’t be returning.
