Such a cute vibe when you walk in. You can just get drinks or food to go but we sat and dined in. Husband ordered his first Wagyu, two handed burger, which he said was super good. Went above his expectations. I ordered the miso mushroom bowl, and the flavor was outstanding. The mushrooms were meaty and the sauce had a little kick but not too hot. Make sure to stop in here when you're in lower Manhattan in the Tribeca area.
We arrived for a pre-Mayo ''Mitt Romney" event meal. Not surprised Monday 5:30 had not needed a reservation. Was surprised by the size of restaurant. The web site reads small but not even the bar is small, nor were our margaritas. The 3 sampler guacamole appetizer was plenty for 4, and our first hint at the creative delights on the menu. We were expertly guided to each of our spice level dishes. The lettuce wrapped tuna taco rack was amazing and filling. This family-friendly foodie find is a must, if only to experience what heights Mexican cousin can be taken to and at a reasonable price.
A amazing Tribeca treasure for breakfast, brunch and lunch! Healthy with deep flavor profiles. Relaxed Aussie vibe and friendly staff.
Cute brunch spot in TriBeCa neighborhood that we stumbled across. The whole menu looked good and we had a hard time narrowing down but both enjoyed our dishes- the breakfast sandwich and brassicas salad. Their coffee drinks are also delicious. This place gets really busy on weekends so you may have a bit of a wait but it’s worth it! Nice staff as well.
Hosting my bridesmaids' brunch at Two Hands was an unforgettable experience. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, outstanding service, and delectable food made it the perfect location to celebrate with my closest friends before the big day. I highly recommend Two Hands in Tribeca for any special occasion or just a lovely brunch outing!
Smoked Salmon Toast is very tasty. A bit too spicy for my taste and the toast too burned too, but still a great dish I would definitely try again.
Great atmosphere. Service was impeccable. Menu was great, light and filling food. I ordered their quinoa and I lived every bit of it, the savory taste of the mushroom and miso was just *chef’s kiss* . The only reason why I’m giving food a 4 star was because their banana bread was a bit dry, the mascarpone was amazing though!
Not only was the food and drinks delicious (and very fairly priced), but the service was amazing. Our waiter, Tapiwa, was outstanding. We liked dinner so much that after we went to an event we were attending we popped back in for dessert the same night!
This place has that right kind of morning buzz. They left the attitude at the door and are so friendly and accommodating. Because I take lots of photos me and light love each other. We were 2 and asked for the front table that is for 3 and with a smile it was ours. Coffees were hot and delicious and the food is a reasonable and filling portion. If you get the avocado toast either come starving or share it. We loved our Asian Beef sandwiching the perfect crusty but not cut your gums crusty! Please follow @joannasable on instagram for more food and travel fun.
Very nice place with great food and service. We have been there with our Kids and they loved it as well. The waffle, the banana bread, the burrito and the chia pudding were just perfect. We can only recommend this place. And, very unusual, they do not want you to leave when you have just finished your meal.
This is my second time in Two Hands and this is one of my favorite place here in Williamsburg. This place is close to Domino Park. Came here for lunch. Cute ambiance and decoration. Service is 10/10 Food is 9/10 Price is 10/10 Not too expensive for a great portion. I got the smashed Avocado Toast with poach egg. The egg was extra $3 so my meal end up to $15 taste good and perfectly seasoned My BF got the burrito with chicken (additional) It was really good and the portion is a lot he can’t even finish the whole thing.
I didn't expect much walking in, but I was completely won over. Light cooking with lemon brightness in every bite. I plan to return whenever I'm close by. Service was prompt, staff were skilled, and everything was correct! This place stands above others - I know I'll be back.
My budget shows how often I choose this place for meals. The vibe here has remained just right. The staff size here is impressive and they're all remarkably friendly. The kitchen serves food that looks as good as it tastes. This spot delivers on every front.
This place is super awesome. Only regret is not stealing leftover brussel sprouts from the table next to us! Brownie was best I’ve ever had 💯🔥
This place impresses consistently!! The employees understand customer priorities. The food demonstrates committed handling. Our friends enjoyed the experience at this restaurant. We're planning when to come back.
The food was amazing! We had smashed Avocado toast with poached egg, it was probably one of the best Smashed Avocado I’ve ever had. We also got banana bread which was Devine! Would totally recommend for brunch. It was quiet and we didn’t have to wait for a table. Price was also very reasonable for NY. We were served by Leo and her service was great!
I honestly never leave reviews whether good or bad since its not my thing but I had to come on here and let everyone know how amazing this place is. Not just food wise but customer service as well. I came in with three other people in a rush and told them I only had 25 minutes to eat before my wedding dress shopping appointment. They could’ve denied us but they didn’t, the manager found us bar seats and our food came just in time he was so pleasant and sweet and so was the rest of the staff and the cappuccino was out of this world. The food was so fresh and healthy, didn’t taste fattening at all. After that I found my dress immediately. Thank you again to the manager!!
I've been wanting to come here for awhile and was finally able to come. I wasn't disappointed! The staff are friendly the place is cute and the food is quick and awesome. I got the lemon poppyseed waffle with bergamot maple syrup and mascarpone cheese and strawberries...AMAZING. You could taste every ingredient. I definitely want to come to try lunch/dinner and happy hour. Key note they don't take reservations and the place fills up fast so try to get there early.
Two hands is “hands down” one of the best brunch spots. Menu is just enough, and best part is, it has the best vibes. Christina, the server is amazing, all the servers seem to have a happy vibe. Something which is not common in NY and much appreciated. Kudos to the team, this will be our regular spot
One of my favorite brunch spots downtown! Out of the way and often crowded but worth the wait. Great service, Australian accents, bread with coffee mascarpone cream, beet cured salmon bowl, avocado toast, and sweet potato waffle. Bacon here is high quality too! Don't leave without ordering an espresso of some sort, they do coffee RIGHT. You can't make brunch reservations so go early with only a small group. Do make a dinner reservation! Really expensive but it’s unique and delicious so it feels worth it. Seasonal brunch/lunch menu changes every few months- the new market plate (winter/spring 2018) is fantastic and filled with cauliflower, beets, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, avocado, poached egg. The burger and fries is huge and fantastic. Try the juice! Green and orange options are both great.
Bright, modern, chic, and tasty, this is a perfect brunch spot! I came here as a solo traveller looking for a hearty meal to satiate me for my trip to the airport and the flight beyond, and Two Hands made it happen. I had some magical egg/avocado/quinoa breakfast bowl that was delicious, plus some proper drip coffee, and was able to sit up at the bar which was perfect. Will definitely come here again next time I visit the city!
They have a pretty good avocado toast! I didn't snap a picture, but I'm sure someone has posted it :) I like finding places around the city where the toast is actually worth the price, and this place is definitely IT! I will be back for sure:) Also, my friend's hash brown looked pretty cool; we liked the music and she said she liked the lighting (we we're there as they dimmed the lights for the dinner service and it was definitely a vibe)
Came for lunch with friends on Sunday and had an indoor reservation at 12:30. I arrived a bit early and was able to be seated right away. The chicken schnitzel sandwich was amazingly light with a zesty sour dressing on the greens. The flavor profile balanced well with the schnitzel. The lemon poppy seed waffle was very good but I think more of a sweet dish - dense like a cake! Our table happened to order the waffle to share and we’re glad we did given it served as a dessert lol. Overall very much enjoyed the food - prices were good for the portions. The service was also patient as we were a party of three and one member arrived late. They didn’t rush us and gave my friends and I time to catch up. Would return again to the same or different location!
My dining dollars are well spent at this place. This establishment offers comfort to visitors. Each plate impressed me completely. The team's assistance enhanced my meal. This spot's location is perfect and the service was consistent throughout our meal.
Two Hands is such a great spot! The atmosphere is bright, modern, and welcoming — perfect for a casual meal or a brunch hangout. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the coffee is excellent too. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely a go-to in the area if you’re looking for delicious food with a relaxed vibe.
We visited this place on a Thursday afternoon for a very late breakfast after our morning walk. We were seated very quickly and a waitress took our order quickly. The food was very good and the absolute only thing I have to complain about was that the juice I got was forgotten even though I told them about it. I was finally served it and she removed it from the bill. There was also nothing that overall lowered my rating for the restaurant and I will be happy to return the next time I'm in New York. :)
Such a great brunch option. This was the first time I tried Two hands. The coffee was great and the avocado toast was out of this world. Many places only have a thin spread of avocado, while this place has a thick spread and is absolutely delicious. I recommend and will definitely be going back!
The drinks were amazing, the staff was friendly, everything was fairly reasonable for the city price wise. Got the chicken schnitzel, wasnt my favorite dish but thats more on me than the restaurant. My husband got a pasta dish that was delicious Desert choices are fairly limited, however very good!
Blizzard Brunch at Two Hands ❄️ pre-planned a brunch here with friends, and suddenly a blizzard is happening. I’m glad they didn’t cancel our reservation and stayed open (with shortened hours). Our reservation was for 2pm, just enough time before they closed at 4pm. The staff were so accommodating given the fact that the blizzard was just beginning outside! Heading out for brunch and having good company here was worth it, though! Coffee and food were both good, and I will definitely come back and recommend Two Hands!
Great Food! Fresh ingredients. If you are in NYC it’s a great option. The pita sandwich was amazing, and the sauce on the fries was great too. I’ll be back soon.
I visited with a friend and we had a really nice experience. The staff were very friendly and professional. We didn’t have a reservation, but the hostess still gave us the table we requested. They genuinely care about their guests.
Comfortable cozy place in Tribeca with healthy food and drinks menu. I enjoyed Zoe's market platter with grilled cheese
Great service and quick! Food was good, definitely get the fries!!!
Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is cozy, modern, and welcoming — perfect for going with friends or family. Our server, Ana, was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive throughout the entire experience. She explained the menu in detail, suggested dishes and drinks, and every recommendation was spot on. The food arrived promptly, beautifully presented, and full of amazing flavors. The service was warm and professional we never felt rushed and they constantly made sure everything was perfect. We would definitely come back. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended.
Stopped by here for brunch on the way to the way to the Mamdani inauguration, Jan 1st '26. Was hesitant to book a reservation here because my experience with most 'Australian' restaurants is that they are very meat heavy places with a brash atmosphere. But reservations for new years brunch were drying up fast so I went for it. NOT disappointed. The service was great. The atmosphere was mellow. The lemon poppyseed Belgian waffle was great. Even the coffee was tasty. My companions seemed to like their dishes a lot as well. Seating is a tiny but cramped but nothing you aren't used to if you eat out in NYC often. These guys have high rents and need to squeeze in enough customers to make a viable business. Really liked the small touches like the little flowers garnishing the waffle. And the bergamot flavored maple syrup. Will visit again.
Great food for brunch! Came here on a rainy Saturday around 11AM and I would say to definitely get a reservation before if you can because it was practically full. The big brekkie was actually fulfilling, the hash brown was very crispy and nice. The toast though was a little too hard for my liking. Steak and eggs were great as well. The banana walnut bread was pretty good, not too sweet with the coffee mascarpone!! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the grapefruit juice; it’s too bitter!
I had marked this place on my next trip to NYC since my daughter loves a good burger. We walked in without a reservation on late Saturday afternoon and as expected the place was packed. The staff was super attentive and friendly as they seated us in a quick manner. Also a big thank you for accommodating and acknowledging my daughter’s special needs. The burger absolutely lived up to the hype! Would love to stop by again.
Always great food. Excellent ingredients and delicious combos. Waited 10 minutes for a table since we didn’t have a reservation on a Sunday morning. They have a small waiting area and the staff was great while we waited. Once we ordered our food came out very quickly. This place is always a sure bet to please.
Looking for brunch? Two Hands is a solid spot! It’s a cute Australian cafe with a good variety of aesthetic food and drink options. I came with a friend at Wednesday afternoon, and got seated right away! We both agreed that the breakfast burrito was phenomenal, and the hash brown with the scrambled eggs was the highlight of the meal. I also really enjoyed the banana espresso martini! Definitely come check this place out if you want a cute brunch with friends!
The banana bread and the mushroom soba noodle bowl are to die for (highly recommend adding salmon to the bowl). servers are so kind and it’s a beautiful space. the portions are a good size for the price. drinks are good, i got the banana bread espresso martini, but the banana smoothie was the stand out drink.
We had a wonderful breakfast here! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the warm bread to the perfectly cooked eggs and vibrant vegetables—every bite was satisfying and full of taste. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The place itself is small but charming, with a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. A perfect spot to start the day—highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality breakfast with great service!
We went for the new spring dinner menu this week and it was incredible. We had the tandoori chicken schnitzel, eggplant rendang curry, market fish, carrots, asparagus and burrata. They were all so flavorful and beautifully presented. For desert, the miso chocolate brownie and key lime pavlova were the perfect ending to a delicious meal.
This is walking distance from us so very convenient to come for breakfast/brunch. We didn’t have a reservation but we were seated right away for a party of 4. I got their iced vanilla latte to start and the açaí bowl for my entree. The açaí base was really good and I liked the granola and fruit toppings. We also shared the chili fries for the table which weren’t bad. Our waiter was really friendly and checked on us throughout our time there. Overall a good spot to check out.
Good option for a breakfast or brunch. The ambient is pretty and modern. Efficient sevice, food came fast despite the restaurant being busy. If you like spicy food here is the place to you. I was in a group and everyone's order was a little spicy, which it is not my taste. But in overoll the food is nice. The lemongrass tea is perfect, made with natural leaves. My friend had a hot chocolate which was delicious. The lemon poppysedd waffle is amazing, balenced flavours, not too sweet. I would say that it is a must try.
It was good visit. Ordered Hot chocolate, there was no sugar. Got Breakfast Roll. The eggs was really fluffy. The sandwich tasted good, eggs were bland. I was not able to taste the spicy tomato sauce until I finished the egg. So, I would suggest to eat eggs separate. Bun was soft and chewy. The staff was friendly.
A healthy, delicious Australian style brunch. The breakfast bowl was fresh and delicious, the vibe and service was great too. The only thing that could be improved was the coffee, the foam was more bubbly than silky, and for an Aussie cafe, it should be perfect. Would come again!
came with my friends and the atmosphere is chill and the service is 10/10!! deff this give this spot a go!! vibes were great and food was too- personal favorites were deff the banana bread, and brussel sprouts and ahhh the aci bowl!! deff try those - wasn’t the biggest fan of the mushroom noodles but it was still great to try for the first time- left brunch stuffed!!
You can definitely taste the freshness and healthy touch to their menu items. They do a great job at making all the food very aesthetically pleasing. It does feel like you are eating healthy when you come here. The different textures and crunchiness they add to the dishes make a great, unique blend. The decor inside feels like a nice getaway!
Solid breakfast place. The food is good we tried the special banana pancake and the ribonned egg on sourdough. The food also gets delivered fast, which was a huge plus for us. Def recommend!
Charming location with good, fresh food! Love the brand. It's so playful. If you look at the coffee cup, you can see that the t and h and rotated sideways to make the eyes. Knocking off a star because I'd like more food for the prices and also there was a mix up during the ordering that resulted in some of our food showing up late.
I had made a reservation for a sunday brunch here (recommended during weekends cause it was pretty busy). The restaurant was pretty busy but so even though we had a reservation it took them 15-20 mins to seat us. We ordered for the table and the food was great. I highly recommend the banana walnut bread.
Great location with accessible parking available. Walking inside there’s always a line, so be sure to use reservations, but you might still end up with the same waiting time as a walk in customer. Luckily there seating at the bar which is convenient as well as small tables. This is definitely a family friendly environment with bright lighting. There is a wide selection of healthy options with flavorful additions. The workers are extremely friendly and courteous. Only negative was the silverware and glasses weren’t clean, sometimes sticky or with residue. Other than that, the food taste great, and the pressed juices were amazing. Highly recommend stopping by for lunch, all around is a win for anyone on the go!
Cute spot for brunch! They have nice decor, friendly service, and good natural light inside the restaurant. The food was nicely presented. In terms of taste, the food was fine, but not spectacular. I would consider this a good place to catch up with friends over brunch, but otherwise would not come for the food alone. I got the Crispy Chili Fries (decent, but too thin/crispy for my liking, I could barely taste any potato), Zoe's Market Plate (wholesome, good blend of ingredients, although it was a bit bland), and a latte (tasted fine, pretty art, but for some reason came in a glass cup).
I had a very nice dinner yesterday. Service was outstanding and kind. Our pork belly and cheddar croquette was an absolute 10/10. Mains were good but I took away one star due to the steak ~it tasted great. But as an avid wagyu eater and lover I can confirm that the American wagyu tasted nothing like Wagyu period point blank. At the affordable price point of $36 I wasn’t expecting it but I don’t like to be sold a dream.
The experience was ok overall. The muffuletta sandwich was good but the breakfast burrito was just okay. The pancakes were dry. The service was slow and they forgot to bring the pancakes, which I had to remind them twice. They took my napkin twice and did not bring me a new one until I asked them.
I got the banana bread latte and the banana bread french toast. The french toast was a good balance of sweetness and a little saltiness. The mascarpone was very creamy, and together with the bread had a nice texture. I did not enjoy the latte I ordered as much but I thought it was an interesting concept.
Great place to get healthy breakfast in a cozy atmosphere. Most items are vegan and the only option of meat is 2 strips of bacon for $5.5, which i thought was pretty wild. Burger was well made, fries were thinly sliced and delicious. Restaurant atmosphere is very cozy and well decorated. Very tight space with small tables, but enough room.
the incredibly lovely and attentive waitstaff at two hands cannot unfortunately make up for our somewhat mediocre steak frites. the starters, the hummus and the croquettes were delicious but the steak was cold and tasted like it was not thoroughly defrosted before served. i would not recommend this to anyone.
Came for Sunday brunch with a reservation, but it looked like they were able to squeeze in walk-ins since it was still early(ish), 10.30am. Enjoyed 'Zoe's Market Plate' and an oat flat white. The food came out quick and was presented nicely, a good serving size but prices are quite high for what you are getting. Being an Aussie cafe, I did expect an exceptional flat white, but I can't say it was. Staff are friendly, but we had a mix of 3 people handling our order.
Am not sure why this place is famous and requires a no show fee for reservations. The menu and food both are average, decor is decent. Our group of 5 went at 2 pm for brunch. The wait time for food was long. Mid way they mentioned the sourdough for chicken sandwich is not available. The matcha latte powder was sub par. Finally did get the sandwich with sourdough but the bread slice was too thick and filling was dry, so couldn’t really savor the flavors. A very much average spot overall. A typical Manhattan hype.
Im Australian and other than this place being named after an Aussie movie there is nothing Australian about it at all. Chips are super thin no salad or veg and the burger was tiny it looked and tasted like it came straight from Hungary Jacks
Went here for lunch today. The food was not bad but not special except for the hash brown and the coffee. However, they added a bunch of stuff to our bill: a whole new dish, 2 sides a coffee. When I pointed this out the server, she seemed pissed at me. She took it off and never apologized once. Not so much as a fleeting “sorry about this”. Just went away, brought back the corrected check and was like “here you go”. Terrible service, not coming back.
Extremely loud — to the point where you can’t even hear yourself think, let alone have a conversation. The blender from the kitchen runs right on the bar, adding to an already unbearable atmosphere. Most of the food — from the eggs and toast to the salads — leans heavily sour. The entire place smells of vinegar, and even the waffle had a noticeable lemony tang. While the food leans toward the healthy side, the overall experience was unpleasant. I will not return and cannot recommend it. The only positive was the good service.
Our HOT drinks came in glass cups that were too hot to hold. That’s a safety and burn hazard. All other tables had mugs. There were egg shells in my food and my steak was overcooked. I couldn’t voice my concerns to our waiter because she never came back to check on us. Though the restaurant was mostly empty, she tried to sit us between parties that had their bags set on the seat we were suppose to occupy. We kindly asked to be sat else where because the other parties did not move their bags from my seat, she seemed annoyed at our request. I had to wave her down to ask for the check. Not a good experience overall
Ordered delivery, Brussels sprouts were burnt, looked like they’d been microwaved multiple times, inedible. Chicken smelled like it could give you food poisoning, didn’t even risk it. Burger was edible, but honestly have had better tasting burgers from McDonald’s, quality is opposite to the price. All in all a waste of money, would not recommend.
