I've been to Taco Del Mar several times and it always seems to be pretty dang good the only complaint I had it's when they make a burrito for you they will fill it up with beans and rice and if you love beans and rice it's perfect so I asked them to please only put half as much and the burrito turned out a lot better when I asked for just half of beans and rice it was proportioned correctly that way

Excellent customer service but for sure let the older lady make your burrito it will be twice the size. Also no where does it say the guacamole they offer at the beginning is 1.25 for a tablespoon. So watch out for that one. The carnitas was bland . The chicken much better but make sure to have them strain it or your burrito will drip everywhere.

You would think Hispanics working at a burrito bar would be able to make some good burritos and tacos. Nope. Prepare to have your ingredients slopped on with zero consideration to layout or proportions. So much rice, a little chicken, beans leaking out one side, and pico de gallo piled high on the other side of the burrito. It makes for a poor quality burrito experience. Overall, the vibe at lunchtime is that the employees don't like their job and they'll throw together your meal soo fast just to get the hell done with your order. Who cares if it looks or tastes good this burrito was made in 30 seconds. The typical fast food experience. The restaurant is clean though if that's what's important to you.

After making our food and taking our orders, the servers weren't super responsive, but they were nice. There was a rug on top of the high chairs, and one of the two high chairs didn't have a strap. It seemed that less attention to detail is paid at this location than others that I've been to.

This is the second time recently I’ve driven there and they have been closed when their hours said they would be open.

Portions were small. A 3rd of a spoon of rice, beans, and chicken. I love the taste but portions need to be larger.

This place is usually great. Made an online order 45 minutes before I went in today, food wasn’t ready when I got there. Didn’t receive my rice and beans side or chips and queso and the portions were very skimpy considering I paid extra for meat and extra sour cream.

Y'all, this is just down the road from my work so we bring them solid amount of service during the week. Today changed everything about how I feel about this place, and I won't be back. I was ordering. Mid order a man walks in, the two workers immediately change their attention to him. They stop working on my order and he goes through completely, including paying. During this moment of confusion, the worker also messed up my order by adding pico before asking. Yes, pico is great and what if I have some allergy? Let me tell you they were definitely not about to make me a fresh one. After this MAN checked out, the worker came back to my order. At that point I didn't even want to stay there but I'm not a quick on my feet decision maker when I'm hungry. It was the wildest thing to witness. It was a huge let down and we will not be back.

When I’ve eaten at other locations the food was fresh. Here at the Bothell location it was past the point of being thrown away. When my girlfriend and I tried to eat the pico de Gallo that was dropped on our loaded nachos it was badly decomposed tomato mush. The tomato tasted old and there was no firmness to it as if it had been over cooked to a soft watery texture that tasted like old onions and compost. We were sick after having that.

Ordered a burrito, was asked if I wanted sour creme and guacamole. I said yes, little did I know they charge extra, but he didn't say anything on purpose. I asked why, he said it's on the menu, however I didn't ask for it and assumed it was included like Qdoba. He didn't offer to take the extra charge off, instead he wanted to remake an entire burrito, probably because he knew I didn't want to wait. The burrito itself was disgusting. Very bland and Luke-warm at best. Not to mention for the $8+ it was pretty small. Lost a customer over a few bucks, hope it was worth it.
